And hotel owner also told me that you have paid him only inr..3600 and i have been highly charged...

I want its refund... As i have not checked in there...
When i talked to customer care... They didn't respond properly... Etc...

Booking number and details are attached herewith.
I want its complete refund, otherwise i will be restrained to file a complaint under relevant provisions of law...

    Latest complain id[protected]

    Reason : oyo shifted us to other hotel on the time of check - in and manager asked for extra amount for which we paid in cash. Oyo team (Monika) promised to refund the amount and asked to pay the cash to the manager to check in.

    Refund amount: rs 600

    Whats really happening :

    It has been almost 2 months, i have been only getting

    "please wait 7 to 14 working days you will receive your amount - 600 your refund in processing for further assistance call us [protected]. And your complain id is[protected]".

    In last two month, i have met below people who have been assigned to this ticket.

    6. Parth

    But none of them actually took an effort to initiate the refund.

      I shared bad experience with oyo

      I made a booking (Id - oxhq2631) with the oyo on 10th of february 2020, unfortunately my travel was cancelled. I have contacted oyo about this issue and canceled my booking. The manager confirmed the full refund will be credited back to my account i have to wait 7-14 working days. After 7 working day i contacted oyo again the reps treated so rudely and did not know anything about a refund also threatened that we can't process refund. However, i have received a confirmation email from the manager that a complete refund will be processed. The information provided was contradicting and after that, i received a call from the manager again but they asked me to wait till the 14th working day.

      However, today is the 14th working day i have waited this far but no refund was processed.

      I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by the company.

        Dear sir, madam,
        I would like to inform you that i have transfer amount security deposit amount rs 10, 200 for room booking blr1039 and i didnot check in on 30th january due to my health issues, i have communicated to property manager, oyo life escalation department to refund amount
        I have recived an email from oyo life that cancellation of booking fees amount rs 999/- and i have conformed by an email that you can reduce rs 999 from security deposit and remaining amount will deposite into my account

        I am calling over phone oyo escalation department to refund amount status since 5 weeks but there is no response from oyo life and oyo escalation department

        I am requesting you that please help me to get the my security deposit amount refund into my account

          I have booked a room with oyo life from 2nd jan, 2020 to 31st jan, 2020. I have paid a deposit amount for rs. 5199 equivalent to one month rent. I was supposed to receive the deposit amount as refund within 10-15 days after i leave the property. But when i get the refund i got unnecessary deduction where in common area charges, which are clearly mentioned in legal rent agreement i have with me, it would be maximum rs. 230 per month. But when i receive the refund, i got a deduction of rs. 599 which is extremely looting of customers by oyo. I have raised my concern multiple times to oyo executives through mail and call, but they are not responding to my concerns. My booking id is : 88397. Please help me to get my refund back.

            Hi,

            I made a booking with the oyo on 6th of february 2020, the address and location was misleading did not find any hotel at the location. I have contacted oyo about this issue and canceled my booking. The manager confirmed the full refund will be credited back to my account i have to wait 7-14 working days. However, i have received a confirmation email from the manager that a complete refund will be processed.             I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by the company.

            I have not received any update from the oyo service team and the refund has not been received yet this is the worst customer service, people. I tried calling customer service and they are disconnecting the calls being rude and also not give any correct resolution. I have received 10-12 emails for the refund being processed as of Now no refund received and just lying customer service the owner itself might not be aware what kind of fraud business he is running such a disgusting service.

              Hi team
              It is the complain regarding the oyo room as i stayed for 2 days so they have cheated me as they have provided me the torned bedsheet and i informed oyo and took a photograph of that bedsheet and oyo asked for the image and its details so i provided each and everything they asked me to send so after all the proofs the property manager was very rude to me and he started putting unnecessary blames on me that i have torn the bedsheet and as per the oyo customer care they asked me not to pay but the property manager did not allow me to check out and he said he will call the cops and the oyo customer care said that pay him for the bedsheet and take something as a proof and we will return the money back to you so i agreed on that point but later on oyo refused me for the refund and i have all the call recordings of the oyo customer care that they promised me to refund the extra amount or wrong charges that i made for the torned bedsheet provided by the hotel.
              Please look into this and i will suggest everyone not to choose oyo as they hardly care about their customers.

                I booked 2 rooms using oyo in banglore. We reached banglore around 1145 pm, and the hotel denied the checkin stating the reason being oyo not paying them for the last 3 months. By this point it was 1213 am, we were not able to book anything else online as it is already the next day. The customer executive who handled the issue tried to book another room for us, but could not and he abandoned us. We had to go to multiple hotels, knocked their doors searching for rooms at 1 am. Finally we had to pay thrice the amount of money we already paid for oyo. Even though oyo refunded the amount back to my account, it doesn't cover the mental agony that we had to go through at 1 am.
                Oyo is misleading it's customers and not fulfilling what they promise.

                  harassment by calling everyday

                  Oyo room app is calling me continuously every day. They are calling like 20 times every day. I want them to remove my number and never call me again. Please dont call me it is very disturbing. I want them to remove my accout permantly. It is not safe for me as they are calling continuously. I am very much disturbed. Each time they are calling with new number. Please stop this, iam not at all comfortable....

                  I checked into a oyo flagship capital o 8307 the garden view on 24 feb at 2130. I was accompanied by my guest who was staying in a jaipur. As per the terms and condition in their website page visitors were allowed in the hotel by showing local id. However, the receptionist denied entry and asked the security staff to stop my guest from entering the premises. Later after complaining the same in oyo helpline i was assured that i will be shifted...

                  I came to bangalore as a new joinee and booked a room in oyo life blr 1753 on 30th january 2020 paying rs. 11, 650. When i went to check into my room, my alloted room was taken by some other people leaving me with no room. Me and my friend tried to take our alloted room for two days and there was no further action from them to provide us with our room and they were asking us to adjust in some other rooms, which we didn't want to do. All these happend due to some internal mismanagement of the property by the supervisor. The problem with the oyo life is that the whole company doesn't have a proper customer care nor a proper management. There is no proper point of contact also to ask for our refund.
                  This whole company makes you feel like it's a scam and there is no proper answer to our queries. Please, help me get back that amount asap as it's not a simple amount to let pass by and thats nearly half of my salary.
                  Kindly look into this matter and get me a solution.

                    I recently started a job in bangalore and the company had given me 15 days of accommodation to stay until i can find my own place to live. I searched online and saw oyo life as an option to stay as it was a cheaper option. I had booked a room in oyo life blr1753 booking id: 99009 to stay for some time till i find a proper home to stay. I paid 32000 inr to book the room with 16000 inr being rent and the rest 16000 inr as the security deposit. On 2nd feb 2020, i reached oyo life with my luggage to shift. As i reached the property, i got to know that the room that i was supposed to stay in had caught fire 2 days ago. They didn’t have any other room that was unoccupied at that time. I was not informed of this in any way by oyo life or the property manager and on top of that, the property manager was laughing while he was telling me as it was a joke. I had to take my stuff and stray for some time till i found someplace to stay. I was given a contact number of someone named priya from the oyo life person through whom i had booked the place (Sumana). She asked me to wait for one day. I did so then the next day i messaged her, she said give me more time for a refund. I waited for 2-3 days, but i didn’t get any formal message from oyo life nor did she reply promptly. I had to request her to reply to my message every time i sent one, only then she would reply. I asked her to give some higher authorities numbers so that i could complain. She got mad at me and told me not to bother her as she will not be eating my money. It's my money on the line and she is the one who is getting angry. She told me that my money won’t go anywhere and that she will reply only when she gets some information. So, i waited for another 5-6 days but i didn’t receive any reply. Every day i message her, but she doesn’t reply. On 20th feb 2020, i messaged priya some emotional message as i was very frustrated but to that she said that she is not handling it anymore and told me not to harass her anymore. I was shocked she doesn’t reply, keeps getting angry at me and i am the one harassing her. I was just asking for my money back and she just kept saying don’t harass me and asked me not to cross my limit. All i was doing was to ask for my money. I am completely frustrated and angry. It’s been 22 days and still no sign of any communication or conformation. I request the consumer forum to take strict actions against the company and help me get my money back. I feel helpless and completely harassed.

                      Later oyo official called me from [protected] this number and informed that the hotel room is not available and there is no nearby hotel. Then i said please cancel the booking and refund the amount. He said sure sir and cancelled my ticket but i didn't received the refund amount. Here there is no mistake done by me and i wanted to ask only one question that if the room is not available then why did you shown in online for booking.

                        Hello,

                        This is regarding the issue i faced while my booking in oyo 6371 hotel abrol from 20 feb-22 feb.

                        I checked in to hotel around 4.30pm 20 feb.
                        The room provided by hotel staff was very bad with foul smell, the ac was not working and it was very suffocating. Insects like spider was also raoming inside the room.
                        I asked the hotel staff for another room but they denied.

                        Because of this, i left the hotel at the same day in night 11pm and roamed around the city to get another hotel.

                        I request you to take this complaint seriously and genuine.
                        I have already made complaint on this on oyo customer service but no action is taken yet.

                        I request to please initiate the refund of amount ₹2322 which i think i deserve to get back.

                          I didnt get the cashback amount i was supposed to get on my room booking id ofhb6947 using code bookfree.I was told i would get about INR 1500 when i checkout of the hotel but its been a week almost since i've checked out and i havent gotten anything back.When i try contacting the customer care they prematurely close the chat.I dont know what to do.

                          We booked a room on 9th I'm hotel Oyo 10045 pearl residency.

                          Due to inconvenience of the hotel staff we were not able to locate the location, so we cancelled it.

                          The serves were not used and the customer care refuses to help us out in this situation.

                            My booking id is szfn8432, booked hotal from 29th jan to 2nd feb 2020 but property owner didn;t open the door so oyo shifted me other hotel i already paid the amount here so once they shfted other hotel they didn't tansfer the money so again i paid as in the call they said it will be refund.

                            Now form last 20 days i an tracking but no response looks like this is the way ritesh agarwal earning. May be this is the business strategy of oyo how to make money and make fools to their customers

                                I booked a hotel oyo47858 under booking id ygfz4076 for stay at tiruvannamalai from 8 feb to 9 feb.

                                The tariff of rs 3517 was paid in advance on 29.1.2020.

                                Booking was cancelled by oyo before checkin. I. E on 8th feb 2020 at 1123 am.

                                I didn't stay in the hotel as the hotel people denied to enter in to the hotel. The complaint was registered under id 26632716 on 9.2.2020 and thereafter i reminded the case through phone number [protected] on 10th, 13th, 15th, 17th and 21st feb 2020. No proper response. Every time the operator says that the complaint will be looked in to by a senior person. No progress and the amount is yet to be refunded.

                                  I am writing to you to raise an issue about: oyo room bookings

                                  The issue that i have experienced was: hotel receptionist checked me out from hotel without my consent just to fill her feedback form positive. Second the rooms were very small as compared to the pictures shown on website.
                                  I called oyo thrice but they always put my call on hold for 30 mins.
                                  They said i will get a call back from their ground team but hasn't received yet. Atlast i checked out from hotel.

                                  It occurred on: 14/02/2020

                                  Redund the money with apology letter.

                                  I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.

                                  It was addressed only not resolved as I can see the Fraulent hotel is still in your list and you have not refunded the amount yet.

                                  Due to hotel fault I did not stay over there.

                                  Within 30 mins she checked me out from the hotel and that is all without my conset.

                                  Do you understand the word consent.

                                  That some one has done fraud with you with your permission.

                                  Waiting for your refund and removal of that hotel from your list.

                                  Until and unless you will not do that I will not spare you guyz.

                                    I booked for 2 rooms in OYO 14455 Balaji Inn at Nashik for one Night through OYO App and paid the advance . On the previous Night before the check in date I modified my request instead of cancelling the booking for one room due to change in Plan.No refund was initiated but a link was sent through SMS by clicking which a payment request for one room was observed. My Guest who decided to carry on the trip paid on line on the assumption that refund for the initial booking will be automatically effected by the online booking system.He reached the property on the check in date to check in. But the property denied existence of any booking on me or the Guest and asked the Guest to pay for a room in cash if the room is required.Being a Senior citizen my guest had to pay in cash for checking in at the hotel.
                                    On continuously contacting the hotel on the OYOrooms helpline Number provided for customers in India I have received assurance for part refund of the entire booking amount with regular calls and emails but no full satisfactory replies has been received so far.
                                    Entire refund of the advance payments for the unused room needs to be considered by the company.
