I booked hotel for my Amritsar trip from OYO booking id is RDHX9378 on date 13th to 15th march and paid full amount Rs. 3, 517/- via Paypal but I had cancelled my booking on 9th march due to corona virus . After that i was Calling to oyo customer care for refund status they were said that refund will be credited 7 to 14 days but the refund was not received on mentioned period then i was continuously follow up with oyo customer care. On 1st April they were requesting to provide bank details so they can credit amount directly to the bank account and i was giving bank details to them after that they said again the refund will receive in 7 to 14 days but now its 14th april since i have not received the refund amount. When i called to oyo customer care they said the amount is processed. Please help me to receive my refundable amount as soon as possible.

    I made a booking on 8th Feb 20 for 26th March to 28th March stay at Oyo Kolkata.
    The booking didn't go through and I didn't get booking ID, but my money was deducted from my bank.
    I reported this on 18th March and till date the full refund was not provided.
    Initially they said Oyo didnt charge, that why no Booking ID was generated.
    Later I provided ALL KIND OF POSSIBLE PROOFS.
    Including SBI Cust Care confirmation of the transaction and they refunded partial amount.
    But again after that I even reached their Social Media Escalation #7897420.
    Still nothing. They are illegally holding my money has no will to refund it.
    Vineet Kumar Sinha from the escalations team makes false promises after I sent 10 email to call or resolve the issue, then again stops contacting days and says he was on week-off.
    Please help me get my money back from the Thieves, I promise never to use their services again in my life.

    Your incompetent customer care and technical support is working on it from 18th March.
    Technical Team closed the ticket without resolution.
    Customer care was useless, so I used Facebook escalation, that is equally pathetic.
    Are you going to return my money or should a harassment needs to be raised for illegally holding my money without providing services??????????

      I have booked hotel at oyo 70394 hotel rajendra with booking id - fuco5423, booked hotel from 11 march to 22 march 2020 and paid full payment before check in. Suddenly due to corona virus our meeting get postponed on19th march 2020 and we have checked out early date on 19th march 2020. Bill have been given by oyo in my mail id balance id yet not credited in my bank statement balance amount 1967/- rs not credited. Several times call to customer care giving no response. Kindly help me in need.

        Hi,

        My booking id is ebvf6218

        Please escalate this matter to the highest authority, as its been a month and i have mailed oyo several times regarding the refund related issue yet there was no solution from the team yet i was assured that my refund will be escalated within 7-14days

        Sequence of the events

        1. At first i was denied to check-in even though i made my payment online through “oyo”, the manager of the property completely denied saying that they accept only cash and he even claimed that they don’t get payment from oyo for the last 6months

        2. Then the manager told me that i will get back my money from oyo as he will escalate the issue to oyo.
        Well and fine, i was even overcharged for a stay in there property as the manager took advantage of my situation and claimed that there’s only one triple deluxe bed room vacant, though i have booked a double deluxe bed room for my stay

        3. After my check-in, i called up oyo where i was assured by *vishal chauhan the guest experience manager* that they are sorry for the inconvenience caused and they will escalate my refund

        After 14days, i didn’t receive any such refund in my account, i mailed him séveral times but there wasn’t a single rply from his part

        Oyo is a big time fraud

        My booking was on 15th-16th march,
        Property name & location —
        Oyo 9662 kajali guest house, near bosepukur, kasba, kolkata.

        The manager of the property has the key role to play such a cruel game
        Please kindly help me.

          I had got an email from oyo life on 5th feb 2020 that due to operational issues we have to move out of property by 9th feb 2020.
          The refund for the security deposit (Without any deductions) as well the 20 days rent for feb month will be deposited within 15 to 20 working days.

          Even after multiple complains over call and email. I have not received my money till date.

          They have cheated the customers and not paying the refund.

            I checked out from oyolife blr1398 on dec 4, 2019 as per the agreement i should get my refund of security deposit within 15 to 20 working days which i have not received till date.

            Even after multiple complains on the email and over call with oyo customer support and oyo escalation team the refund is not yet credited to my bank account.

            The invoice received is false one and no such transaction has happened to my bank account.

              I have cancelled a room with oyo booking id - xbcs6143. The refund has been generated but i have not received even after waiting for about 20 days. I have hereby attached the screenshot of the same. I have called customer care many times and hence waited for long but their response is not helpful. I had sent a mail which has been ignored by them. Hence posting a complaint here.
              Kindly do the needful.

                I took a pg accomodation via oyo life and then vacated it in three months on 27 feb. I was promised that my security deposit will be refunded back within 5-6 working days. However, since then i've only been following with customer care and have not received my deposit back despite several complaints and follow up emails. This is the kind of service oyo is giving out to their customers. They are taking the lockdown excuse and delaying the refund process thinking noone will visit their office. They have even stopped their call center services.

                  On 07th february i had booking in oyo hotels with bookinf id vkcf2450, on property oyo 28586 silver oak annexe, ooty for two rooms, and i had paid payment of 1665/- through phonepe with transaction id s2002071605538132288941. But owner of the property has denied me the check in saying he is not going to accept payments made to oyo as oyo is not paying him the amount properly and only he will allow us if we pay him amount by cash, same has been discussed with oyo customer support and after speaking with owner they has asked us to pay the amount by cash and the payment done will be refunded in 7 to 14 working days.

                  From then i am trying to contact them and follow up on the status of the refund and every time i call them i am getting same reply saying we had initiated refund now and you will get refund in 7- 14 working days. And from last 15 -20 day even we are not getting the proper response as they say we will escalate the call to senior department and put us on hold after waiting for more than a hour also there is no response and i was forced to call again to get the update and in the process lot of my precious time and money has been wasted and still i had not received my payment refund after waiting for two months.

                  Please look into it and kindly do the needful, i am attaching my mail communication with oyo for your reference.

                    I booked a room with oyo and cancelled it due to corona with booking id: hwbf3769

                    Despite multiple attempts oyo was unable to refund money and i have reached out to them 5 times.

                    Case id: 27606411

                    The last time i chatted, oyo insists the money has been refunded, contact paypal, without giving me any refund transaction id or anything. Moreover the paypal customer service is closed due to covid 19.

                    Other customers have to had such issue with oyo's inability to pay via paypal.

                      I have booked hotel from oyo app and paid rs2384 through debit card when i visit hotel to check in they said that your booking has been cancelled so i have to book again on that same day and paid cash and complain this to oyo customer care they said they will refund in 14 working days its been 20 days now i called many times after 14 days they said to wait more 24hours more 1 day its been 20 days now i will never pay online through oyo now if i wont get refund i will lodge cheating case to oyo now i didnt cancelled my booking and i have to wait for my money to come back are you serious? Its like i am begging to oyo for money they dont refund they cheat i will wait for more 2 days i have prove in mail and call records

                        I had booked a room at hotel oyo 27773 silverkey ias colony 8-1-398/pm/227, paramount hills, ias colony, toli chowki, hyderabad but due to unforeseen circumstances i had to cancel my booking of oyo as per their policy the amount after cancellation would take 7 to 14 working hours but still the amount is not credited into my bank accounts

                        I contacted google pay with the above information but they did not agree with the refund details given by oyo, google pay demanded the upi & rrn details of oyo but oyo did not provide me with upi details, i have been swinging between the two for my hard earned money & feel to be cheated, i request for early & favourable action.

                          Hi, I had booked an OYO (Collection 0 30121 The Mayer) in Bangalore for dates[protected] to[protected]. Inv no: ZNQV9837

                          We faced several issues during our stay:
                          1) Rat in the hotel room (changed room twice due to this)
                          2) No proper water supply and AC cooling

                          Due to these reasons, we decided to cut short our stay till[protected] after speaking with OYO customer service agent who modified booking accordingly (14th to 16th March). We were assured a refund of one-day booking amount to my bank account (NOT OYO money) as we had to leave early.
                          I have received a text message from OYO saying refund payment has been initiated, however, I have not received the payment yet.

                          As the refund amount is large, the delay in payment is highly distressing. Please acknowledge and take action immediately on this issue so that we are not forced to escalate this issue further.

                            The oyo life property i was staying at got shut down suddenly without much prior notice and i was promised that my security deposit will be refunded within 7-10 working days without the extra deductions that are normally there. There wasn’t much time given to vacate still i vacated the property on deadline. It’s been three months and i have called oyo life customer support multiple times but i still haven’t received my refund. They just keep postponing the issue instead of resolving it. I want my money back just the way it was promised!

                              Hi Team,

                              I booked at a hotel through OYO and I was travelling with my Family. Considering I have kids and aged people with me I confirmed by calling up the customer care multiple times to OYO. However when I reached I was shocked that the rooms which I booked and paid through OYO ended their contract 6 months back. I had to suffer entire day before getting a place to stay at Mahabaleswar through Make my trip. Oyo never returned my money and additionally booking through Makemytrip cost me additional 10000. I let my family suffer who came to me for vacation, which also includes old aged parents.

                              OYO shouldn't be allowed in hospitality business, and lots of people like me are suffering. I had my worst ever experiences which money can't even recover. The worst part was my parents who are too old and suffered entire day because of staying issue at Mahabaleswar. Any services company would refund the money if anyone couldn't avail the service, however since OYO makes money by letting their customer suffer, they have never returned my money

                              The reason I waited so long because I thought they will apologize because my parents suffered. Please cancel OYO licence so that they will not fraud anyoneelse.

                              OYO customer care representative called me however no resolution has been provided. And the worst part is they are asking if they should initiate refund request. What kind of company is this? I have not availed the service and refund should come automatically. And I have asked for proper apology letter which they have not responded. Kindly take strict action against OYO and don't allow OYO in the hospitality business. The experience which I had is horrible and it was nightmare for me because my parents suffered because of OYO. Please don't let OYO to earn money through fraud
                              These guys at OYO has been hired and trained to put customer into trouble and please advise how can further escalate and stop OYO from hospitality business. It is not me only there will be so many people who will suffer because of OYO. This is not a trusted company please cancel OYO licence and refrain OYO from putting someone else into trouble

                                This escalation is regarding my booking id : kybf6198. With oyo.
                                This is the 2nd time consecutively that i am facing issue with the oyo service.

                                I have visited this hotel with my family and i had raised a ticket on the same day of my stay at hotel which is not yet resolved. Below issues were faced during stay at oyo certified hotel. This hotel was booked through oyo app for the rupees of 1988/-.

                                1. Dirty bed sheet, pillows and blanket.
                                2. Smell of cigarette and alcohol in the entire hotel (Even inside the room).
                                Found not friendly for the family stay.
                                3. Bathroom was suck. Shower, tap was not working properly. Toilet commode was broken and smelling.
                                4. Water leakage in the bathroom.
                                5. Staff were not responsive.

                                It's better to say that nothing was good in this hotel and forcefully i have to checkout my room early morning 3am (5-mar-2020) with my family. I have checked in approx 3 pm of 4-mar-2020.

                                Request you to take the needful action on priority and looking for an entire money refund from them.

                                  Issue no.1

                                  I checked in at hotel rove oyo 17327 by booking id: kiut8657 at 4.55 pm.

                                  They have given my payment receipt of only rs.700 whereas i had made them a payment of rs. 940. You can see the attachments named 01 and 02 for the same. This is a clear case of fraud and illegal book entry by the property and illegal payment receipt provided by oyo.

                                  Issue no.2

                                  You are aware that the room was pathetic. Ants were everywhere, linens and bedsheet were dirty filled with stains and pillow covers were so dirty that it had hairs of the last person who had used it. And lastly, the toilet seat was still having "[censored]". Please see attachments 03 and 04 for the same.

                                  I called the hotel reception from a dusty and dirty landline and they said that they have given me a clean room. I asked 2 housekeeping staff to check and they said they will get back, but no one responded.

                                  As there was no response, i lodged complaint by calling the customer care immediately at 5.10 pm. They kept escalaiting the issue and later put me on hold for 20 mins and finally when the call resumed, a person that the call "might have got merged" and cut it. I left the property at 5.50 pm as there was no resolution from the property or the customer care.

                                  Issue no.3

                                  I am a regular user of oyo. So, i request you to refund my rs.940 as i have left the hotel immediately after checking in and i further request you to take action against such fraud properties as they damage the reputation and trust that we customers place on oyo.

                                      This complaint is regarding our stay in nirmala palace hotel, kolkata on march12 and 13, 2020 booked through oyo.

                                      We had our belongings left in the hotel room on march 12th and went out on a work and we asked them to clean the room. After our return we found that room was not at all cleaned and we found that our belongings were missing. Upon questioning the receptionist we got the response stating that they thrown it in dustbin and there was not even a sign of apology from them. We asked them to check for it where they thrown it but they didnt care to check it and never gave us any further response. And for our further questions there was no response from them.

                                      Breakfast which is said complimentary wasnt provided, towel wasnt changed, heater and tv wasnt working. None of these things were taken care of even after complaint. When we questioned these their response was very rude towards us.

                                        I am a resident of oyo life chn 1133. We are not being provided anything that we were promised. Because of covid-19 issue, i have to work from home and wifi is not recharged from their end. It's been 3 weeks. Multiple times we have reported this to stay supervisors, their managers and customer care. They are not doing anything and continuously giving false assurances. This is a very serious matter and my job could suffer because of this.
