I had booked a ticket in redbus from hyderabad to tirupati with vandana travels on 26th april 2018. The boarding time was 8:30 and i was waiting for the bus along with my family since 8 o clock. I got the message at 8:24 that the bus got cancelled and the redbus could not take any responsibility in arranging the alternative. It was an important trip for me and it got cancelled because i booked the ticket from redbus. What a poor service you are offering to customers. Really waste o[censored]sing these sort of non standard service like redbus. Please do not encourage of making use of any service oriented companies especially in travels.

    I am very much dissatisfy with the service of redbus in collaboration with kalpana pvt ltd
    In that time i was reach in the concern office at 8 pm on the same i was trying the bus operators num but it was not reachable
    All the time i try to reach to the bus but i could not and the service provider of kalpana just told me in the 11.30 pm at late night that i was the only one to travel from ajmer to indore while on the same bus was full from jaipur and when at late night i asked to bus operatior about any alternative he said to me that i was the only customer who did the online payment so therefor he did not have any option if i was the offline customer he might have something and at that time so late in night i travel from ajmer through an unsafe non ac local bus and changed my bus several time to reach indore just because i m having my final exam on that particular day
    Since i am an regular customer of red bus i travelled so many time but at this time it was so bed and worst experience for me
    After this incident i will never suggest anyone for red bus on the same redbus was one of my preferred bus service
    On the same i reached to indore from various sources in the mid noon even i travel for several hours just to that i don't have any other options and i m literally suffered from this journey and it was unsafe and on the same i really suffered mentally due to this i event i could not able to give my exam properly.
    It was really a very very bed experience for me and my family and friends to
    I hope atleast red bus can do onething atleast they people can refund me my amount or else they clarify me so that i will take the further step.

      I have booked a ticket from coimbatore to chennai travel date 08/05/2018 10.20pm i have booked the seat number 3 and the travels agent made me to sit in seat number 35 when i refused he made me to get down from the bus. Then immeditely they took the bus. I was running behind the bus they haven't ever stopped it. When i called customer care red bus they said they will arrange alternative but nothing was done and they are not properly responding. They made me to wait there till i get the refund

      I have cancelled my booking and the booking amount is in my red bus wallet, but i want to transfer this amount to my bank account.How to get that money back to my bank account??

        Hello Team,
        This is to inform you that I had made a ticket yesterday for todays trip to Delhi from Kanpur. Due to which the timing are showing for night hours and i made the ticket done. But This I come to know by Evening today, that your ticket was made for morning hours which was not mentioned at the hours of ticket booking and now the issue is that due to which my father is now travelling through a normal upsrtc bus. This is something really bad I guess. Hope you will do something with my ticket fares.

          Hello Redbus,

          I tried to book a ticket from Delhi to Amritsar on[protected], but the ticket could not be booked and my money got deducted from my ICICI bank account.
          I got message from redbus that my money will be refunded within 5-7 working days. But still after 7 days, I have not received my money.

            ticket cancellation

            I just made a wrong booking on the redbus application. There is a 'cancel ticket' option on it but malfunction. Therefore, i made a call through customer care service and also to the bus company namely starmart and both services was not helpful in making a cancellation and to refund the payment that i have made.

            2) bus came late at 45mins at 10.15pm,

            3) conductor came to berth and started insulting in front of everyone and insisted on not start bus till i buy one more ticket for my kid - 9 years old,

            3) i had asked for seat in case of full ticket - rs 700but he refused and rudely asked me to offload from bus in case of not give money

            4) he told please go to red bus in case of additional seat or any other transaction,

            5) so i was forced to pay - rs 700 without ticket and additional seat for above bus journey

            Iam very much embarrassed in front of everyone with such rude and insulting behavior of bus staff in hosur. Please do needful action and refund my additional expenses

              We had booked a ticket through red bus app for traveling from kodaikanal to chennai for 4 people.

              Ticket information below

              Travels : hyderabad express cargo services (A/c sleeper (2+1).
              Boarding date : 02 may 2018
              Boarding time : 18:30
              Boarding point : bus stand
              Boarding point details : shamasardartravels s t c holidays in front of r. R. Restaurant,
              Boat house road, seven road junctions, kodaikanal,

              Ticket number : tm5v75480792
              Pnr number : 53aus7bd

              We called the bus operator on 02 may 2018 around 2 pm (Phone number: [protected]). As we were not booked ticket thro’ them, he lethargic specified that wait at boarding board as mentioned in the ticket.

              We reached the boarding point around 5:30 pm (One hour before the schedule departure of the bus). We have enquired about the boarding point to the bus operator (Shama sardar travels, s t c holidays office). He checked the pnr status and told that they were not received any booking for this ticket. He advised us to contact red bus customer care.

              When we showed our ticket, he told that you were booking in hyderabad express cargo services hence it now showing in our list. He also mentioned that hyderabad express cargo services bus operation to kodaikanal got cancelled from past few days. Now they are not operating any service from kodaikanal. He also told that he will cancel our tickets to get full refund and he will do the alternate arrangement. Till now, the ticket is not cancelled.

              After checking the ticket availability for other buses, he told that there is no ticket available today from kodaikanal. But there are tickets available from batlagundu with good buses. Hence he suggests taking the bus from batlagundu which is 60 kms away from kodaikanal. He told that he will arrange separate cab from us to reach batlagundu for that we need to pay the additional cab charges.

              When we called the red bus customer care, they have told us do the alternate arrangement to continue our journey and they will take this as compliant and resolve this issue within 24 hours by refund the ticket amount.

              I have called the red bus customer care again on 4th may 2018 around 10 am to know the status of my compliant. They have specified that it is under process, they will provide response before end of the day.

              As i didn’t get response from red bus, again i have called red bus customer care again on 5th may 2018 around 11 am to know the status of my compliant. They have specified that it is under process, they will provide response before end of the day. I asked them, how long i have to wait for the status. They have specified that it is under process, if required you can proceed with legal. Hence i am raising this issue in the consumer complaints forum before proceeding to legally.

              My questions are

              1. Hyderabad express cargo services stopped there bus operation to kodaikanal. Are they not informed the same to red bus?

              2. When we called the bus operator on 02 may 2018 around 2 pm (Phone number:[protected]. He knows that hyderabad express cargo services stopped.
              A. Why he is not informed the same?
              B. Does the bus operator’s wants to create panic situation to customers and tried do their business (Cab business & booking new tickets thro’ their travel agency) using the red bus customers?
              C. Our understanding is that this bus operator doesn’t have any operationable buses. Just he is doing business with red bus customer. Is red bus aware of this?

              3. Red bus customer care executive told that do the alternate arrangement to continue our journey which means red bus is not trustable one and if you are booking tickets with red bus, we need to alternate arrangements too. Is it correct?

              4. Till today, i am available to see the buses from kodaikanal to chennai with different fake travel names with same boarding address in red bus app. We guess this is a scam done by both red bus and bus operators. Red bus is aware of these fake travels/ bus operators and don’t want takes any action against them. Is it correct?

              5. What is the liability of red bus for the mental torture incurred by us and the additional costs we had to bear because of denial of service by operators on their platform?

              Lesson learnt:

              This is a severe critical issue from red bus

              1. Booking through red bus app is not trustable one. Before booking with red bus do the alternate arrangement/plan.

              2. In future, we will not book our tickets through red bus. We would like suggest the same to all.

                I have booked a ticket through red bus (Operator: ishaa tours and travels) to travel from bangalore to chennai (Ticket no: tm5v4923816; pnr no: ts[protected]cmkf/19839/bng to chennai). Due to some technical issues in the bus, we were informed that the bus will not move further. Later the driver stopped few buses passing through the way and asked us to board, since that was a weekend all the buses were full and the passengers were asked to sit inside the driver's cabin. Requested driver to properly arrange the alternate bus but the request was denied. Finally without any option, we were forced to travel by sitting inside the driver's cabin of some private bus for 80 kms which was very very inconvenient. I have highlighted this issue to red bus and asked for a partial refund but they denied to provide. I have raised complaints multiple times but redbus sends a mail every time saying that the case is been resolved.

                  Booked sagar travels from pune to beed for travel on 27 april 2018 through redbus. Departure time mentioned was 11.15 pm. I went to departure point at 11 pm. To my horror the office of sagar travel was closed and none of the numbers provided were working. I had to travel in cabin of another bus. Called redbus 5 times till now and even after 7 days no resolution. Worst possible service.

                    I had booked two tickets from siliguri to kolkata on 25th of may. But the bus has been cancelled. I have not received my refund money yet and the system generated customer service also says no refund has been initiated. I am not being able to talk to any redbus customer care executive.                       We had booked a ticket through phonepe for traveling from khamgaon to nagpur for 4 people on 29th apr at 12:30am.
                      The bus was late and came around 1:30 am. But the operator saw the ticket and told that it is a mistake from redbus. We don't have any such booking and bus is already full.
                      When we tried to reach the contact numbers provided in the ticket they tell they are night security gurads of baba travels and have no booking related information.
                      My question is
                      1.) where should your customers go at 1:30am in the night?
                      2.) how can you have bus operators who give security guard numbers in contact info. Why was this not verified by redbus?
                      3.) why does the redbus customer care asks to mail our problem when we call them? Why can't phone support log our complaint? Till we threaten a consumer complaint, we don't get a ticket id for the problem. I have this call recorded for proof. This was sashi kumar from customer care with employee id 1033.
                      4.) what is the liability of redbus for the mental torture incurred by us and the additional costs we had to bear because of denial of service by operators on your platform.
                      5.) it has been more than 5 days i have called your customer care and even emailed about the issue. But i am yet to receive a single update. Not even received a single acknowledgement mail/sms for the complaint. When i call, i keep getting different ticket id - that too only after forcing them to give me one. Already have 2 ticket id[protected]/[protected].

                        Hi team,

                        I am sorry to say, this is the worst pilgrimage ever in my life. I used to travel mostly towards tirupati via my local town operators. This time, i gave a try to redbus, which i am deeply regretting now. I took pilgrimage package not made a booking for bus or hotel.

                        Coordination is so poor or null. Redbus didn't take any responsibility towards the package except booking the hotel and bus. I don't know why are calling its a pilgrimage package.
                        There is no help or support from redbus.

                        We just took a bus from madurai along with many others. No idea how many were there for package. We came step down at tirupati at nearly 6.30 a. M. No one is there to pick us. The ticket is not having any contact number of hotel or there was no one to pick us. If we can do everything, then what is point of this package. We asked everyone over there to find anyone facing same issue from redbus.

                        Then the receptionist arranged a guy who took me to bus stop by walk and got me a bus. I have no idea about what to do after reaching there or no information about the other devotees. If this is the kind of service you are providing. Then just stay with bus booking and hotel booking. Don't call it pilgrimage package.

                        I went to temple. Temple was over crowded and all i have is free darshan ticket. After a every long queue, nearly after 3 hours i went inside a cabin, where it was excepted time of darshan is next day 12a. M (04/05/18). I was so happy to knew. Since my phone was with ttd. I have no way to contact anyone and my return bus was at 8pm today (03/05/18). All i can do was just coming out without darshan.

                        If you people have no idea of what is going on there in tirupati. How long it will take a devote to get darshan?. If you can't arrange a single guide even to help us. Why the hell you call it as pilgrimage package and looting us?. We know to book bus and hotel tickets with/without help of redbus. Please don't waste our time and money.

                        You are good at booking bus tickets. I never faced any issues till this time. With that belief i booked this. Pilgrimage package means not booking of bus ticket or hotel, it's so many things more to do with. Kindly do see kstdc, thomascook or via how they are working.

                        I am posting this feedback on all social medias and never suggested anyone to use redbus pilgrimage.

                        This is really very ridiculous of red bus and the bus travel named chirag travel displayed that it will take 15 hrs and now I am traveling in that bus, driver saying that it will take 24 hrs. It is really very disgusting.

Today i plan to move chennai from coimbatore so i booked the ticket from red bus in that i chose the seat no fl2 when i was try to board my seat i felt shocked i have the single seat but there it seems like a double bed for this they collect the amount of rs 1499 it is unworthable and cheating manner, so please do the necessary steps to stop these kind of activities...

                            I had booked my ticket from indore to nagpur through redbus. But due to some personal problem of bus operator they cancelled that bus and told me that redbus will refund the amount.

                            Next day i got call from redbus banglaore office redbus and i gave my details
                            My ticket number - tm4c69532464
                            Compliant no : 3419516 dt. 14.03.2018

                            The call center executive assured me that i will get my refund within 1 week thats 22.03.2018. But still i am awaiting refund and no contact numbers of redbus are there that we can directly talk to call center executive, only automated call is there where they ask to submit our details and everytime a message comes that in one week you will get refund. If i call today again i will get a message that in one week i will get refund.

                            Since 1 and half month redbus is just fooling. Kindy refund my money or else is will put this post of social media about your worst service and cheating.

                              I have booked a bus ride from hyderabad to pune on 14april-18 via tez app and the amount has been deducted but it didnt book the ticket.. When i called the redbus suport team they said it would be refunded to my account but it has not been done.. Its more than 15 days now and still no refund..
                              I have checked tez app too but there is no refund..

                              This issue is lodged many times i suppose from people..
                              I am a regular traveller via redbus but this time it has ditched me.
                              Also the tez app seems to be a fraud.

                                A very bad and bitter experience with ashwin roadways.

                                I have booked a ticket for my mother from chennai to srivilliputtur in ashwin roadways pvt ltd on 25th april, 2018.
                                Bus no. Py05b5206.
                                Serviceno: chennai-tenkasi850pm

                                The bus pick up time from porur toll gate was 8.40 pm.
                                We have reached the spot on time and called the given number[protected]. The person told to call the particular bus driver [protected]. When i called, he told that he is in traffic and will take five minutes to reach. After 10 minutes driver called and told to come after the toll gate immediately. We ran with our luggages.

                                As my mother being an old lady can't run faster. When we reached bus was not there. We called the driver ([protected]) nearly 17 times. He didn't pick the call.

                                When we were in confused state, they told us to come to perungulathur to board the bus. We had taken a cab sparing around rs. 500 to reach the place. Meanwhile we called the driver again and he talked in a very rude way and said if we don't reach sooner, the bus will leave.

                                Then i blasted the person and told that i am going to raise complaint against him and the travels. Then he disconnected the call.in the heavy traffic we managed to boarded the bus.

                                A very poor service in (worst)kongu transport

                                I have a booked a ticket from kovilpatti to chennai 01 may 2018. The bus dont pick up on time one hour late and bus driver confused to drive the road not sleeply well.And morning too late 2 hours actual reach time (6.30am). The bus reach perungulathur 8.30am very disappointed me.so avoid this kind of services.

                                  Booked online bus ticket successfully from ahmednagar to bangalore of srs travels bus through redbus. I reached at pickup point well before scheduled time. Bus came late, not stopped and departed very fast from pickup point without reporting to pickup point. Pickup point officials and customer was not having contact number of bus operator to contact him.
                                  Due to urgency of journey customer chased to bus by personal bike up to about 6 kms away from pickup point.
                                  During chasing the bus customer's bike slept on highway. Both riders i. E. Customer and his relative got injured on legs, hands and head. That means it was a serious near miss casualty happened. Fortunately there was not closely followed by any vehicle. Otherwise there may have been happened fatality of both riders.
                                  When customer asked to bus operator the reason of non stoppage at pickup point, both bus operator and conductor used rough language. Denied to provide seat by giving the reason that there is no seat vacant. Booked seat was not listed in travelers list available with bus.
                                  Finally we got the seat with humble request by showing confirm ticket to bus operator.

                                  Secondly bus boarding time was 05:05 pm at # 7, ujwal complex, old bus stand, ahmednagar and arrival time was about 11:00 am on next day at anand rao circle in bangalore. (Arrival time 11:00 am is mentioned online data at the time of booking the ticket) but bus passed from boarding point at 5:45 pm and arrived at bangalore at 03:45 pm. As per bus operator and conductor arrival timing on online data i. E. 11:00 at bangalore is wrong.
                                  In this situation we suffered a lot due to system of traveling agencies i. E. Srs travels and redbus company. There is cheating of customers because of wrong journey time given to attract passengers also.
                                  Here with requested your necessary and strict action against travel agencies so that, customer can get justice and will not face the same any other customer in future.

                                    Redbus team did not arranged a bus as per the booking has been done one month prior. I have been contacting them to check about it, no response from their end.

                                    Because of their worst actions, we cancelled the entire trip that leads to time and money waste and have not been get money back yet. They are not at all considering this as important and they are reluctant.
