I have cancelled my tickets of rupees 2988 on 11th july 2017. I dint receive refund till now. It's been more than 7 business days. Kindly refund my amount. Redbus is going worse nowadays when it comes to cancellation policy. We need to call customer care 100 times in order to get one refund.

    My bus ticket from hyderabad to bangalore for june 23 which was booked via redbus was cancelled by bus operator for which i got many sms. Even after several complaints, redbus has not initiated refund for my money yet. It has been one month now. I request consumer forum to help me get my refund back.       Hi,
      I am a regular customer of red bus. We trust on red bus. And they listed this kind of fraud busses.
      My pnr is 99568585 an ticket number is :tk8b86296347. And they left me on a dhaba 110 km before indore. And than i tried driver number more than 10 times but he not picked. After many tried they give me a number of a different bus. And he stayed to pick me. And the other thing they stolen my assets (Perfume, mobile-charger etc).

      Why you listed this kind of worst service busses.

      The redbus app will show that, they are giving offer and they mention offer code in the same. Whenever you try from any app from any login id it will show as offer not valid and when you raise a complaint with them, they them self will close the ticket without responding.
      Still same issue.

        It has been more than 3 months redbus has not refunded the money against failed transaction. I have called them many times now

            Hello,

            I hired a tempo traveller by red bus hire. It was a family (My in-laws, elder brothers family and 2 friends who came from chennai only for this) trip to munnar from bangalore. I had many discussions with red bug agent about cost, road tax etc. I was getting a cheaper package from a local travel agent but only because red bus is the reliable brand, i made the advance payment. I confirm with traveler agent (Preetham heights) that the vehicle should be in good condition.

            The driver was on time and as journey started at 6 in morning, we left bangalore at around 7. The driver was driving at around 60 -70 kmph.

            On the way, i was asked to give 1500 rupees for tamil nadu state tax. I checked the receipt of the tax submitted. It was 1120 rupees only. I asked the driver about the rest amount, he said rest is given to rto officer as the bribe.
            I was wondering why red bus is charging service tax on the bribe given to rto officer.

            We reached rto office near coimbatore to give kerala state tax at around 6 in evening. There i was asked 5500 rupees for kerala state tax. Again i checked the receipt for submitted tax which was 4000 rupees. The driver told rest 1500 rupees is given to rto officer as the bribe.

            We took a u-turn from rto office and after riding for around 2 hours, the vehicle stopped. The engine was not starting after many attempts. We got down from the vehicle and tried to push the vehicle and start it but the engine did not to start.
            We were around 170 kms away from munnar and 15 km away from pollachi. I contacted the travel agent (Preetham heights), he told me to wait for driver otherwise he will send a backup vehicle from munnar to pick us up. We waited for 1 more hour on the road in dark in the middle of nowhere.

            Driver found some mechanic nearby and the mechanic fixed it in 5 minutes. We started again around 8:30 pm. We entered the annamalai tiger reserve. After around 5 kms, the vehicle again stopped. It didn’t start after many attempts and this time we were inside of a tiger reserve area. We didn’t know what to do next. There was no network signal, we couldn’t go outside and it was all dark and silent.
            I got some very weak network signal inside the vehicle and called the travel agent and told him the issue and our location. He said he will send his backup vehicle immediately. We were waiting in the bus for around 1 n-half hour. Meanwhile, we all were continuously checking for network signal but could not get any.

            Luckily we spotted one govt bus was passing by. We immediately stopped that bus and with our all luggage, we boarded the bus. Our driver also boarded with us leaving the vehicle there. The bus was full of drunk people. Everybody was drunk. It was full of the horrible smell of alcohol. Me with all my family, manage to stand in middle space as there was no any empty seat. I suspect the driver and conductor were drunk too because of the driving style.

            We reached munnar around 1 am in morning, the driver got down before town area. He took 2000 rupees for repairing the vehicle. Near munnar bus stand, we all got down. It was raining heavily. I contacted the travel agent informed him that we have reached munnar. He told us that he was trying to call us since last 2 3 hours to get our location and send the backup vehicle. But now the driver of the backup vehicle would have slept. So we talked to some auto guys who were there at the bus stand. They charged us 1000 rupees and dropped us to our resort as it was 16 kms far from the city.
            We checked in the resort at around 2 30 in morning.

            We woke up around 10 in morning and try to inquire about driver and vehicle. Both numbers were not reachable. Even we were getting very weak signal at the resort as it was at some remote location from munnar city. We hired two small vehicles (Jeep) offered by resort people and covered some 2 3 tourist places in the day time. They charged us 6000 rupees.in the evening we contacted our driver. We got to know that he was waiting for us in another resort since afternoon. We guided him to our resort.

            In the morning, we checked out from resort around 9 and on the way to bangalore we covered 2 3 places.
            We reached bangalore around 11 30 in the night.

            I don’t think the red bus people realize that how difficult it is to get a day or two off from work and take our family to some trip. And then you are forced to see the suffer and pain on their faces for hours helplessly. What i gave my family was all these humiliation and torture on the name of a good time in nice weather which cost me more than 50k. The total cost of transporting only was around 30000 rupees.

              One of the worst travels. I booked one ticket for my friend madurai to chennai, she had arrived boarding point before they mentioned time, boarding time 11:30pm, bus was cancelled by kpn travels due to some iasuse, she had waited for till 12:30pm, no one response her, then i called to customer care, told about this situation, i spoke chandru he using abuse words. I recorded that call. Don't irritating anyone. Pls response your customers.

                Dear service provider,

                I am not happy servicing by you that i used red bus service for indore to udaipur trip on 09th evening, easy to find out the bus for this route but while i booked my ticket i feel that i smuggled by red bus service.in attached ticket i was unable to find - bus stand, where from bus will be departured, as in indore 03 bus stands there and afraid to think that bus will be left without reaching bus stand.

                I hired auto and went sarwate bus stand which is usually large by others but no information received then move to navlakha bus stand where bus was not present but information received by conductor that from gangwal bus stand, 07.00 pm bus moved to udaipur and then went to bus stand fastly by auto and get the bus for travelling in all the day activity i have paid rs. 450/- to auto driver and the amount was equal with ticket travelling amount, and all happening have with red bus service, so i am very dissatisfied with red bus service facility.

                        We have booked two red bus tickets for return from Digha to Kolkata (by Moumita Travels) scheduled dep. on 26.6.2017 at 3.30 p.m. The same was cancelled on 25.6.2017 and we got confirmation message on my mail id from PayU on behalf of www.redbus.in that refund request has been processed and money should reflect in my account with 5-7 days.
                        However, till date I have not received any confirmation message that whether the amount has been credit to my account or not. My Transaction ID: 24034603 as conveyed to me by PayU mail stated above.

                        Pl. do the needful so that I can get my refund without any further delay.

                          Date of incident - 26 June 2016 (over an year)
                          Incident description - The bus got cancelled at last moment and I called them for the refund status, no refund was processed for a week then they said the amount has been processed, I called them again after a week they said the request has been processed and will be reflected in few days.
                          I waited and as I have very busy schedule I didn't call them again and no amount was transferred. I posted the feedback on their Facebook official page at start of June they again said the payment is processed again . I waited for 7 days no go. then they asked me for my bank details so they can manually transfer it I again waited for 7 business days no go. they said they have processed the amount again. Its been an year since they owe my money and I still did not receive it. please let me know if you need any prove related with the issue I will provide you with the same

                            I'm recently visit to Mumbai with friends. We are booked Mumbai darshan bus from Red Bus, N.T Krishna Travels and Departure time 7 AM. So, We are reached the departure point at 6:30 AM, we are calling to Travels but they are not yet picked the our call. after 7 AM we are called to Red Bus customer care from them we response wait for 30 Mins then we did. Again after 7:30 we called back to Travels still they didn't received our call. Then we are called to Red Bus after they are asked us to wait to contact Travels, after some time they told us they are receiving our calls too, So wait for some more time.
                            After 8:15 AM we are called back to Red Bus CC. They accepted as Complaint to refund money. But still we are not yet got refund and we keep on calling them every time getting same response i.e. will get resolve in 24 hrs.
                            But recently i got response from them that bus was traveled on that day, but when it is traveled we didn't get any information either Red Bus nor N.T Travels.
                            Complaint 1 : If bus was traveled on that day, why they are not informed us.
                            Complaint 2 : They accepted the complaint on june 26 regarding refund, still we are get refunded.
                            Complaint 3 : They are wasted to much time for on roads in the rain.

                            Finally observe that Red Bus do not has better contacts with Travels, but still allowing the users to booking. which means that they are earning money from users with out service.

                            I hope it is acceptable Complaint and many users are there like us. I'm believing that we will get justice for spending money and time.

                            I'm recently visit to Mumbai with friends. We are booked Mumbai darshan bus from Red Bus, N.T Krishna Travels and Departure time 7 AM.                             And you guys dibt receive our call... This is disgusting

                              Respected Nitin Sir,
                              I was looted with fraud promise by redbus.in
                              They made a fraud booking over their website with wrong information on bus booking at redbus.in app.

                              I booked a bus from Pune to Mahabaleswar with ticket number TK7P32724336 on Datta Krupa Travels Bus service. It was Bus from Pune to Mahabaleswar.

                              But i was asked to get down from bus at mid way and was informed that the bus will not go to Mahabaleswar instead it will go to some other city and since they were not able to arrange the other bus, They handed me Rs. 100 and was asked to arrange my own conveyance.

                              When I raised the issue with Redbus, They are not resolving any issue instead not even replying to my complaint after a formal reply.

                                  its been already one week how long it will take while detecting the amount it takes only 2 min right for resolving it takes 10 days or what?
                                  RedBus accepts prices decided by bus operators. Why do operators charge VERY HIGH during season or long weekends. Cheap way of earning is it? When normal price is 500 to 600, why charge more than double.

                                  Please check this issue. This was once raised to the government and action was taken. Now its high time we react.

                                    On 21 June 2017, the bus from Banglore to Hyderabad was cancelled. So i dropped a mail to redbus regarding the issue for refund. There was no response. Later i called on 23 June 2017 for the refund. They asked me to wait for 24 hours. I waited and called again on 24 June 2017. They again asked me to wait for 24 hours. There was no update. After 8 days, on 2 July 2017, i again called the customer care. Now, they are asking me to wait for 7 working days. And this is not at all fair. The customer service guys are very rude too. Please resolve this issue ASAP. I'm attaching the call reference numbers below.

                                      Today i have booked a ticket in online in redbus for kpn travels from madurai to chennai. My ticket no. Is82jqjyrn, and the pnr is g[protected], and the jd id is bbu6h4g6 and the date of journey is 02jul 2017, total fare is 766.8 bus type is volvo a/c multi axle (2+2) instead of night 10 'o' clock i booked morning 10 'o' clock. I realised the mistake. I immediately tried to cancel the ticket in online but it did not cancel the ticket. I informed the kpn travels atonce kindly refund my bus fare immediately.

                                        They are cheater i have booked ac sleeper ticket that was confirmed from there side but just before the journey they called and told me that sleeper bus has been cancelled & i have go in separate bus which will be a seater not a sleeper, when there is more crowd on holiday they are cancelling seats of previously booked passengers or demoting the birth from sleeper to seater at the last moment so that passengers is not left with any option and sleeper seats they are selling it on much more higher prices.
