Description: I bought a ticket from Red Bus for a bus journey at 1 am. The bus was 1.5 hours late and never showed up the entire time I was waiting.

The bus operator did not share the real-time location of the bus.

The bus operator did not share the driver's number.

It was raining heavily in Mumbai and expecting a traveler to aimlessly wait for over 1.5 hours in the middle of the night without any update is fraudulent of the bus operator.

Red bus has completely washed away from its responsibility to do hold these people accountable and I want accountability from these guys. The least they can do is refund.

      Hi Team,

      My name is Kishor M. (Email address - [protected]@gmail.com). I had booked a ticket through red bus for my parents who were traveling to Bangalore from Pune on 5th July 2018, bus operator was Satnam Travels..

      We were not informed about the cancellation until we called them at around 12.00 pm on the same day to check exact boarding point at pune ( departure was at 7.30 pm) . The lady at Satnam Travels informed me that bus got cancelled. When I enquire about refund, she swiftly told me that the refund will be initiated by red bus.

      I have been trying to reach out to them ever since and red bus is now saying that satnam travels have not confirmed yet about the cancellation hence we can't refund.. it's been 7 days now. Spoke to one of the floor supervisor Binesh and he was also not helpful..

      This was first and last time with Red Bus.. absolutely pathetic service. I have recorded all the conversation which I had with Satnam and Red Bus ans will initiate a consumer complaint if it doesn't get resolved soon..

          I booked a bus ticket from Delhi to Lucknow on 12/6/18 at 07:06 am..The amount 855/- got deducted from my Credit Card successfully and the booking failed..

          I received a mail and message that due to some error the booking failed...The deducted amount 855/- would be added to my account/card within 7 business days..

          Its been a month now and m yet to receive the deducted amount..

          If this is the service of redbus.in then m sorry but i would neither travel nor suggest anyone to travel via redbus.in...

          Its really embarassing that neither i received any notification regarding delay nor I received the deducted amount 855/- in my account/card..

          Requesting you to look into the matter and return the deducted amount 855/- in my account/card to the earliest...

              refusing to give me a refund

              We recently wrote to Civa bus to claim compensation for a bus journey that was cancelled with no warning due to strikes. This left is in a very dangerous situation, in the middle of a strike zone in Juliaca with people smashing glass and burning tyres in the middle of the street and an abandoned bus station with no understanding of what was going on - not even a note to say there were no busses! We were completely stranded in Juliaca. br...

              Booked srs bus for bangalore to shirdi using redbus.in portal.The specified pick up time was 12 am The bus reached at 1:15 and departured at 1:30
              The dropping time mentioned was 5:00 am to shirdi... but bus reached to location at 8 :15... it was due to lack of time management by srs travels bus management... unwanted stops also add in here.The bus management guys were also not well behaved with passengers

                My booking with redbus was made well in advance from manali to jammu with ticket number TM7S13618673 dated 6.7.18 and time 17:30.
                But a call from concerned bus officials received near about 15:00 hrs and they said that bus is out of order and it will not run and didn't provide any alternative.
                Then i called customer care redbus about our booking and asked them to provide any alternative...but customer care didn't provide any alternative bus for same day..
                Then we searched the bus from redbus and then booked the another bus with ticket number TM[protected].
                If we can book another bus from redbus, then why they can't provide any alternative..
                One more thing, for previous booking i paid 3600 and for next one i have to pay 5250...
                Also till now i Haven't received any message regarding refund of cancelled bus ticket..
                Also you are requested to pay me the difference amount of both tickets i.e[protected] =1650.

                    Hello, As per the above details i book bus from hyderabad to pune on 02-july-2018 From #redbus. As per ticket details i was arrived my boarding point at 21.40. So bus was not reached my boarding point as they mentioned time so after few min i was called to bus operator for confirming bus . That time he was given some other number to me ( [protected]) and i asked him that confirm Bus number because of in ticket no bus number . He was replayed me that we only contact you after we reach your location and he was given Bus name as "MANAM BUS".
                    I contact [protected] so many times the number getting busy how ever i contact him and asked about bus location he replayed with in 15min we will reach your location . i wait more 30min after that bus was moving in front of me he was not stopped at my location and he was not contact me . so i contact him and said your moving from my location i was not get into your bus. So he was request to come to SR nagar . so after i reach Sr nagar i contact him at 22.48 but number not connected . So i contact main number[protected] at the same time he was reply that i will conform with him and call back to you.

                    So he was call back me at 22.50 and said that bus was left so i ask what was next stop so i can able to catch him, he request to come Miyapur i was reject for that because of it was more long from my location i request to stop near by he said not possible . So i was conformed with him about my money . So he was said that we cancel your ticket and we will refund it . i was accepted. But my money was not refund so i contact #redbus helpline and given 2 complaints one from app and another with help line about this issue ( complaint number 4576445 and 4576486) .

                    As per #redbus support team i provided call timings screenshot and all the information they need . But they fail to help me everyday they asking more 24hrs but till now (06-July-2018) my problem not resolved . So am requesting to consumer support team to look into my complaint and do need full thank you.

                        I booked a ticket from ernakulam to mysuru for 6 pm ksrtc bus on 4 th july and i have received the bus number as atc86 i went to bus stand at 5 30 but i couldn’t find a bus with that number and so i called the bus crew but there weren’t any proper response they said the bus has moved come to edapally church and so to catch the bus atleast there i asked for the bus number which he refused to say so i went to edapally church in 15 min that is at 6 10 and called again and asked about the bus he still didn’t have the bus number and said “yu aren’t a malayali don’t know how to catch a bus “ i am really frustrated i have to to to office tommorow and i have spend 2000 ta extra because of this somehow help me..

                          We have purchased a ticket through redbus portal from rajahmundry to hyderabad with ticketnumber tm7v35417678, travels name mozo travels on 1st july, bus number ar01g4554, service number kkn-hyd845pm and my wife travelling alone. Around at 3.00-3.30 am early morning driver stopped the bus for a bio break. With out checking whether all the passengers boarded the bus or not he moved the bus.

                          Now you guys understand the situation, a woman standing on road with out any mobile/luggage/money helpless because of the bus operator. Put urself in her place, how much pain she would taken and how much panic situation she would have been.

                          Even i tried to contact the bus operator but he did not answered the call and later once the bus reached the destination, i spoke to the driver and the support person about the situation, and he is not even responsible and said the boy who looks after this was new and asked to contact the complaint number in the ticket to complaint.

                          I contacted your contact center and asked for a manager, he said no manager available and a supervisor is on call and arranged a call back next day. I
                          Spoke to the supervisor nithya about the same and she said she will escalate the issue to next level, also i told her that i need 100% compensation and need a very stringent action on the people who were irresponsible.

                          Today i got a call from your complaint desk one of the lady spoke to me, (Forgot the name) and said she would be escalating to higher level to take necessary action, when i asked for compensation, she said she checked with someone and confirmed me some compensation. I am not sure whether she said 50% or 15%. I said ok and call got completed.

                          I need 100% compensation because of service lapse.
                          Need to take serious action on the bus operator for his irresponsible behavior and need proof of action taken.
                          Need an apology letter from the travel operator.

                            I booked the 2 tickets in redbus. I got mail from red bus bus got canceled. Immediately i called to redbus customer care they conformed bus got canceled you have to take ur own arrangement and money will get refund in 24hr. So i booked other 2 tickets in different travels in same redbus. Till now money not yet refunded to my account for this.

                            1. First i got mail from redbus support abt bus cancellation (Attached screen shots). I didn't send any mail to red bus support.
                            2. Because of that mail i called to vijayawada red bus support ([protected]) from my mobile on 26/june/2018 2:06 pm
                            3. They conformed bus got canceled i have to take my own arrangement and money will get refund in 24 hours.
                            4. So i booked two tickets in venkatramana travels on the same day with trip id: tm7r28101849

                            I called to customer care from past 7 days. Till today they are telling with in 24hr money will get refund to ur account. But today they are telling money will not refund bus was not cancelled on that day. In that case why u informed me to bus cancelled through the mail as well as call?

                            I didn't received any bus cancellation message from bus operator. I received cancellation message from redbus customer support only which i attached in above and same was already shared with u peoples. After i received this mail i called customer care and get conformation about the bus cancellation and then i booked extra 2 tickets(with trip id: tm7r[protected]

                            I[censored] need proof about the customer care discussion please refer the call recording on june 26th.

                                On 01.07.2018 in have travelled from proddatur to hyderabad by jagan travels bus 5244 vide my pnr no:ts[protected]vtwo/221772/spl a/c sleeper. I very much regretted to write about the worst experience i ever had during my travel. I booked for single berth, where as i was allotted (U16) double (Joint) berth, which made me lot of inconvenient. Bus management failed to provide bed sheet, pillow covers and even rugs. On demand they have provided unwashed rugs getting bad odor. For each berth individual tv is provided but not working. My co-passenger (U17) by name visweswar reddy, mobile no:[protected] is also faced same invonvenient. While we have charged rs.1300/- per berth no specified amenities provide. Hence i would request you to arrange 50% refund which is just. Otherwise i will be injustice on the part of passenger.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  I have booked a bus ticket from Bengaluru to Chennai on 3rd June 2018, but due to breakdown, the bus got cancelled and no alternate bus is arranged for me. Adding to this, still I haven't got my refund back of Rs 1599/-. It's been more than 25 days, even after so many calls and emails sent to the customer support, they are saying just one thing, i.e. "Wait for 24 hours" from the day I am calling them. I have got a message after booking the ticket that the bus is got cancelled and when I called on the below mentioned number, he told me that my refund will get credit in next 24 hours but I haven't got any refund.

                                  More details about the journey is attached in the screenshots for your reference.

                                  Kindly look into this asap. I am fed up off mailing and calling them. Please help me in providing justice.

                                    For 30th of jun, i had booked ticket from bangalore to dharmastala in pragathi tourist sleeper bus. As i was the only person dropping at dharmastala, they asked me to get down at ujire and made me to board a another bus which is ksrtc government one. They told me that they cannot come to dharmastala only for one seat. There was not place to sit in that ksrtc i boarded (Completely packed) and even myself had to bare charge for that.. I had to travel 10kms standing with all my luggages. What kind of customer service is this? If they cannot drop at dharmastala, then what's the point in booking ticket. I am a regular user of redbus and i am seriously disappointed. This can happen with anyone. While the bus people try to save few kms, we passengers had to suffer all this non-sense. This is not at all acceptable to drop a long journey passenger in the middle way.

                                      I have booked the ticket. Due to some urgency my brother in low was not able to travel on the day. So I have called redbus customer care number at 12:30 PM on the same day and informed that I am not able to cancel the ticket.., and asked them to cancel my ticket. First a lady picked the call and told me that the ticket cannot be candled since because I have crossed their cancellation time as per the ticket they have sent to email. I have informed them that I am a user to the website and before booking the ticket I have read their cancellation process and the charges what they have mentioned during the time of booking the ticket. After lot of arguing I have asked her to pass to call to the her manager whom she reports and asked her to give her name and employee id, and she was not ready to give the information, again arguing with her she told that her name is “Renupriya”. And call got disconnected.
                                      Again I called to the customer care, this time a person named “Srikanth” has picked the call and he replied the same thing. Again I have informed him that how the cancellation policy will be different..? he told me that they have forget the update their updated cancellation policy. I have told and informed him multiple times that before booking the ticket I have read the cancellation policy and then after only I have booked it. And the person is saying that I have to consider the policy what is there after booking the ticket .
                                      After lot of discussion and argument they have registered a complaint at 1 PM and sent the below email

                                      They have wasted lot of my time and other work was also stopped for me. But the result was none. As per their policy before the ticket booking they will refund me 50%, still nothing has happened.
                                      And during the arguments I have asked the girl that is their voice recording system is there for better customer satisfaction and quality control, , , she replied that they are not doing that if I want I have to record in my phone……., These peoples have no any idea how to guide the customer and give him proper suggestion, , they simply make story.
                                      This is what mentioned on the ticket which I have booked.
