Order cancellation

I placed an order online and tried to cancel it within a few hours because I realised some customisations were provided by the company. But they are refusing to cancel the order and forcing me to buy something from them. This is absolute ### and horrible CUSTOMER service. No where on there website it says that cancellation is not possible....

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent purchase of a Mourya Wood King Bed from your store on 24th April 2023, as per Invoice no. SWSAL23-24/33, (copy attached) for the amount of Rs. 42, 500/-. The purchase was made at your Mangalore branch, M/s Styleworks (RoyalOak).

Regrettably, since the day of delivery, the bed has remained unused in a guest bedroom at my residence in Mulki, Mangalore. To my dismay, upon a recent inspection, I discovered significant wood deterioration and powdery residue within the bed frame. This alarming defect is entirely unexpected for a product of this nature and price point.

I have attached photographs of the defect to this letter, which clearly illustrate the extent of the issue. As soon as I noticed this problem, I promptly lodged a complaint with your Mangalore showroom. A few representatives from the company have visited our residence, verified the defect, and assured me a replacement would be arranged without delay.

However, it has now been a considerable amount of time since the initial complaint was filed, and I have yet to receive any communication or action regarding the replacement of the defective bed. This delay is causing significant inconvenience and disappointment, as we are unable to utilize the guest bedroom due to the non-functional bed.

I kindly request that you treat this matter with urgency and make the necessary arrangements to replace the defective Mourya Wood King Bed immediately. I believe that your company values its reputation for delivering quality products and excellent customer service, and I trust that you will take swift action to rectify this situation.

    We had purchased 2 Ashoka Wooden Single Bed from Royal Oak Furniture on 20th August 2023. While receiving the cots we had informed about the poor quality of the furniture and just after 10 days one of the cot broke without much usage. We had filed a complaint previously and after a lot of hassle the company sent a technician to repair the cot. However now again within a week the same cot has broken again. We demand a full refund for delivering such poor quality furniture and will be filing a customer complaint regarding the same.

We requested the store manager to offer Ganesh festival discount and the Store manager refused any further discounts. Next day, we get to see a pamphlet in the news paper stating that RoyalOak furniture is offering 20% discount on office chairs and tables.       This is a serious staff service complaint regarding “ Royal Oak” Kirti Nagar Showroom. Extremely Casual and unacceptable behaviour - the Salesman was least interested and was continuously fiddling on the phone.

      Not just this, the store manager and salesmen present at the store DENIED using the WOMEN’s Washroom and advised that it is locked, no courtesy and basic rights are being violated at this store!

      Please acknowledge and address this at highest of the levels. Thanks in advance.

        Sofa...repair

        We had bought an 5 seater sofa...costing 55k ...now the cushion...is gone with in a less span of time...we have registered a complaint in show room...2 times. But nobody returned just telling they will come they will...very bad customer service......

          I placed an order on August 5th (order #[protected] My order has been partially delivered. The sofa is not delivered. After multiple follow-ups, got an update that the sofa is out of stock. I asked for a refund, but they denied it. Till now I didn't get any updates from customer care. As a NRI, it's difficult to follow up and get updates.
          Really bad experience with this company. Customer care and sales team are very poor.

            I am a regular buyer but had a bad experience now. I have ordered two single wooden cots with bed, received a delivery in next two days. Unfortunately one of the cot was broken at the time of installation. The technician Vijay took all photos and assured that the replacement will come within 2-3 days. The sales person Srinath was good & cooperative, collected all the details and raised a complaint. The CCD manager Praveen called me next day but not picking up my call after that. It’s more than two weeks now, no news about the replacement.

                My name Subbarao Kancharla. I have purchased the Vase with order number[protected] in royaloakindia online website, they never deliver the product. When ever i call customer care gives false promises saying 1 hour or end of the day they call back. I dont get a recall them again. When i go to the offline store and asked, they say they are not responsible for the offline purchases and royaloakindia online website is cheating. I am struck here, any help to get back the product or money. I greatly appreciate for handling cheating.

                  I have Purchased 3 Seater and 2 Seater sofa last year around 16th /17th August 2022 with One year warranty. Presently one year has also not completed and sofa foam got pressed, when you sit on sofa you can feel the springs of sofa and back of sofa and arm rest foams are also got loosen up.
                  Regarding this issue I have made complaint on 16th July at RoyalOak Showroom C-03 Galaxy Blue Sapphire Plaza, Greater Noida. After 3 days RoyalOak Technician has visited my house and done the inspection of both Sofa's and told me that Sofa Foam need to be replaced & it will be repaired by Sunday i.e 23rd July. But it was not repaired on Sunday 23rd July. So I called RoyalOak Service Manager (Noida Region) Mr Sonu [protected] and he told me that material is on the way from Bangalore and will get delivered in Noida by 26th July and will get your repair done on 27th July.
                  But on 27th July also no one turned from RoyalOak and my Sofa was not repaired, then again I called Mr Sonu (Service Manager-RoyalOak) and then he informed me that material got delayed and now it will get delivered in by 30th July and Positively on 31st July i.e Monday your Sofa's will get repaired.
                  And On 31st July also no one came from RoyalOak and I tried to call again Mr Sonu (Service Manager) 14-15 times I called him but there was no response from his side. He has not even picked my phone call. Then I called RoyalOak Customer Care in Bangalore and informed about my complaint and unprofessional behavior of there Service Manager Mr. Sonu and also sent email to the customer care on 31st July. Customer care informed me that they will speak to Service Manager and get my complaint resolved at the earliest.
                  Next day Service manager Mr Sonu called me and informed that now since you have escalated the matter to Bangalore office and made my complaint. So now after getting their approval from TMS head only your sofas will be repaired. Now I will not get your sofa repaired.
                  Since then I have made multiple calls to Customer care also why and what approval is required for getting my sofa repaired which is under warranty and confirmed by your technician that foams of sofa need to be repaired.
                  Today again I called to Customer Care and again they have spoken to service Manager Mr Sonu and informed me that my complaint is rejected as this is Usage issue not sofa issue and also your sofa is running in 12 month, So you have to get it repaired under paid Service.
                  Sofa were under one Year warranty and in 11th Month itself complaint was made to Royaloak Noida office and since then they are just making excuses and wasting the time. It seems Mr Sonu Service Manager has taken it on his ego that I have done his complaint to Bangalore office.
                  Request you to pls assist me in taking up this matter with RoyalOaks and get my complaint resolved under warranty. I have requested multiple times to Customer care that I want to speak to some Senior authority in RoyalOak but they have not provided any details of there Senior managers.
                  Looking forward some support to take up my issue with RoyalOak management and help me in resolving my complaint.

                    I have ordered a recliner on 20th July and got the order delivered on 1st Aug. But the delivered Recliner was broken, the same was confirmed by their Installation Executive. But they have not sent any replacement till now.

                    They are not responding to my calls...

                    I was delivered a table with incorrect finishing as to what was shown in their store and after 12 follow ups over 3 months through email, there was a technician visit who said it would have been replaced if it were 1 month old and that there is no actual issue, it’s just with the finishing. Their customer executives who initially agreed for an issue in the product over email later changed colours that they won’t repair/replace. They had no answer when I asked why I need to pay a higher price over local stores for an inferior product.

                      I have ordered for Royaloak furniture online from Royal oak India vide order number[protected] dated 16/07/2023 through online payment of Rs 39000. I was told that the product would be delivered on 19/07/2023. The company did not adhere to its commitment. My continuous follow up since 19/07/2023 regarding the delivery of consignment is infructuous and non- responsive.
                      I have sent an email to [protected]@royaloakindia.com today (21/07/2023) for cancellation of order quoting deficiency in service and non- performance of promise.
                      When I have contacted their helpline at [protected] on 21/07/2023 to enquire about cancellation of order, I was informed that the company does not have any cancellation policy.
                      In this context, I request you to initiate suitable action against the company and get the refund of Rs 39000 paid by me for the order.

                        Maur Malaysian Fabric Recliner 2s was purchased vide SQ[protected] from Boduppal showroom and delivered on 14.07.2023.                           I have purchased an L shaped sofa from Royaloak. Within a few days we started observing sagging in one of the sofa seats. I raised a compliant with Royaloak customer care and got a technician visit from them after few follow ups. The technician confirmed us that this issue is eligible for replacement since the sofa is new and the sofa has manufacturing defect. I have been following up with Royaloak customer care since then but there is no resolution in sight. My Invoice no. is SI23KA[protected]

                            I had bought a bed from alwal store on 31 march 23.it was delivered with planks misfit condition. After repeated complains and follow-up no service manager calls nor attends the issue. Fed up with customer service. It's 3 mnths now issue has not been resolved till now. [protected]
