I, have bought a samsung mobile (Galaxy M12) pricing at 10, 999 on 21march 2021. It’s been hardly 6 months and my mobile has stopped working all of a sudden on 20 september 2021, when my husband went to the RT nagar samsung service centre and explained the problem, the executive examined the phone and asked question like, was the phone exposed to water or was dropped from a height which might be the cause of the problem. he said no, as that was true.
my husband explained them that the phone stoped working all of a sudden and it was not because of any impact to the phone either by water or by dropping it. The executive then said, must be a software problem, should take a couple of hours to fix it and assured me a call back. Hours passed, they called and said it’s not software problem, but the motherboard and display of phone is crashed and it cannot be claimed under warranty as there was a external small damage to the phones outer frame (This damage was caused almost 3 months ago where i accidently dropped phone the damage took place. It was a minor damage though to the external body and my phone just worked fine even after that) the store supervisor says that warranty cannot be claimed because of this damage. My point is, how would an external damage to the phone that happened 3 months ago can lead mother board crashing and display still working fine, when i informed them display is working fine then service center excecutive said that by mistake they said display is faulty and only motherboard is faulty The amount they offered me for repair was rupees 6, 700 to get a new mother board fixed, why would i spend 6700 for a 11k phone when it is eligible for warranty
i gave a call to samsung customer care with the service id [protected]on 21/09/2021 and the agent there replies he will arrange call back next morning which was not arranged when i called on 22/09/2021 around 12pm the call was transfered to escalation dept to the agent deepa based in chennai samsung call center i explained whole issue to her, the scratch on the phone was 3 months ago if motherboard had to get crashed it would happen right then not after 3 months when not even it fell single time she clearly denied saying it cant be claimed under warranty as there was external damage to the phone(This damage was caused almost 3 months ago where i accidently dropped my phone to ground, since there was no back cover safeguarding the phone, the damage took place. It was a minor damage though to the external body and my phone just worked fine even after that) the store supervisor says that warranty cannot be claimed because of this damage. My point is why suddenly display went off if its due to damage it should 3 months ago not now.
Further, i expressed my dissatisfaction by telling her i will launch a complaint under consumer forum, grievince cell or redressel cell.
she dint even acknowledge the problem only she did was being offensive on call when i was trying to explain the issue.
i'm using samsung brand since 2011 and use to recommend to other's as well but this is the 1st time im complaining. The service experience is very bad. i will never choose this brand again.

Updated by Ahmed Hani After many attempts of speaking to customer care and doing CEO escalation Samsung is denying warranty on the phone, they even check it properly for a small scratch on the outer panel which was caused 3 months ago warranty has been denied. approached RT NAGAR service center worst service n worst service center ever I'm cursing the day I bought this mobile I would have gone for another brand instead. Even after continuous complaints the brand has denied providing warranty i recommend everyone not to purchase Samsung they have technology but service is not even average.
