There was an audio problem (crack sound in speakers) in my TV, so we contacted the authorised samsung service center (8th Sep, 2022) and they have sent the technician accordingly. Technician visited and identified the problem that the speakers have failed and that we need to replace the speakers. So he took the details of the TV (model number etc) and visited back in 2 weeks with new speakers. But while fixing the new speakers he had damaged the screen backlight / display. Please note, that the TV was running fine when the technician visited with new speakers except for the cracking sound sometimes in the audio. He mentioned that the mother board (main circuit) could have been damaged during the service and he will come back with a new mother-board as this was damaged during repair from his side. Then a new technician visited post 3 weeks (10th Oct 2022) (after continuous follow-up from our side) with a new mother board and he replaced the same, but the display was still not functional. This new technician after consultation with their team, mentioned that the problem is in the backlight of the display and we need to pay for the same (bill amount 15-20K). We did not agree to pay the amount, as the display was working fine and it was due to the technician fault that the display / backlight was damaged. He then told that he will check with the team and raise a request and left from our home. Post that we have made so many follow-up but no progress and they mention that we need to pay for the display / backlight repair, although this was their fault. We have been suffering with no TV since September 2nd week and continuous follow-ups with the Samsung team but there has been no help from their side.
Samsung India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
