Good morning sir,

i am ashish mittal and i am an old customer of samsung.i ma using all electronic products of samsung since 7 years. i have bought one mobile samsung j2
SM-J200GZKDINS on 31 May 2016. its may 2016 model only.

the mobile had fallen down by me 27 Jan 2017 and the screen got damaged badly. next day i landed my mobile for screen repairs at authorised service centrein ooty at WARE HOUSE ;LOCATION :-296/H alexandria cottage, commercial road, uthagai 643001. the mobile was in warranty period of one year as i understand . but the benefit cant be provided because it was physical damage and fallen by my mistake.
The name of the dealer is SAMSUNG INDIA ELECTRONICS PVT LTD
SIEL -TIN NO. [protected]

I got my mobile bcak repaired on 04 Feb 17 vide order no. [protected] and invoice no. [protected] on payment of Rs 3029.34 /-.(my other mobile registered in this bill [protected]) with warranty of one month as informed by the dealer.

Now while using this mobile on next day, i found the screen had cracked while in pocket only, without any fall or physical damage by me.

i again went to the dealer on 8 feb 17 to get it replaced, but i was beng told it cant be replaced within warranty period . and i would have to pay the full payment agian.
Hence my complaint is against the faulty product and low grade material of the product used in screen.

It is requested that the complaint may be honoured and the suitable replacemnet must be done ta the earliest, as a good will gesture and one time measure.
it is further requested that the action may be initiated as soon as posssible,
else i will be left with no other option to go in official way through consumer forrum.
at last but not the least, pls consider as a legal complint, it may be used further for the same purpode in consumer forrum/court.

    Sir / madam,
    I am the loyal customer to samsung specially to note series. I used all the note mobiles since the inception of this series. I love them a lot and have enjoyed a great experience with every device. Unfortunately note 7 is rolled back by company itself so was unable to buy it. This time i am confident enough that you will give us the best note 8.
    Sir / madam unfortunately i am facing serious problem with my note 5 from last few months. I went to service station 5 time from last 6 months approximately, but they couldn’t resolve my problem even after they changed the mother board, i faced the same problems. So, i requested them to give a new piece or upgrade to other one and even i told them instead of me suffering, travelling, calling, wasting my time, energy and travel, i told them that even i am ready to pay extra amount if you give me an upgrade.
    Unfortunately, all them went in vain. My requests were confidently attended every time but they gave me a poor output which made me suffer a lot. The issue even went to the highest decision maker ms. Premalatha who called me from chennai but didn’t solve the problem and she told me confidently that if this time the problem arises, she would give me an upgrade or replacement. My plea to every department i faced patiently was that almost 50 days nearly 2 months the device is at service station ad i requested them that my warranty is also finishing, but no one cared from last 6 months, and now they may say that this is out of warranty.
    I bought note 5 on[protected]. I took this mobile on the name of my cousin ms. Sanjana devarakonda

    So, i request you to kindly replace or upgrade or give me a paid upgrade as my mobile is almost 2 months with the service station people and they never solved my problems from last 5 months and even now they are not responding. I challenge sir / madam, even now while reading my mail you can call to the customer care station no[protected] … even you can call for a week, or a month or an year continuously, it won’t be connected. If it is connected i will leave my note 5 with them and it’s an open challenge.
    We can understand how hard you all are working to provide us the best but some people like whom i faced last 6 months are ruining your hard work and good name sir / madam. I respect the company and will buy note 8 keeping a lot of trust on you. Hope i would get a call for replacement of my note 5 or an upgrade or paid upgrade to a new note 5, i am ready sir / madam. This time i am not going to take back my mobile because they cheated me so many times and i lost hope on these people. Hope will get a call or else i will leave the note 5 with the service station and never take it back.

    This is my last attempt to keep my faith and trust on samsung, after my 50 times calling, 10 times visit and 6 months’ wastage of energy, time and travel efforts. Thanks for reading a long mail but it is to be addressed if you believe in loyal customers like me sir / madam.

      I bought samsung galaxy j7 prime 3 months ago, one problem was occuring in my phone that the battery level of my phone automatically get up without charging so for this issue i submitted my phone to my nearest samsung service center maa communication in kotla, but 4 times i submitted my from 21 jan 2017 till now the issue is not resolved.for first three times i submitted the phone i got the same jobsheet number i.e.[protected] and for the forth time i demanded different jobsheet not repeated so got jobsheet no.[protected].when i asked the senior (ajay rana) that why my issue has not been resolved so he talked to me in inappropriate manner and doesnt gave me any reason and when i told him that i will complaint about him he told that "complain about me i dont care".now i had suferre a lot from last 2-3 weeks now i dont want to go service center again and again.

        Dear sir,

        With deep regret I would like to bring it your kind attention that my complaint still remains pending, I did receive a phone call and a mail from Samsung, but unfortunately it was not addressing my concerns at all, its really been a long wait, please note this is my last mail to you, I wonder if my mails have been brought to the notice of concerned authorities, my next mail will be to the chairman Samsung and a legal notice, please understand that even the service centre executive acknowledges that the phone was accepted for money back and that the other conditions were not informed ( that if parts are available it will be repaired etc), my only question to you is WHY WAS THE PHONE NOT REPAIRED, entire lies are brought forward by this single question, the phone is still under your custody, its been almost 6 months please take special care and do not inform me that it is lost or otherwise, it’s a pity that you have even not contacted the cochin service centre office for enquiry, as such will be causing a huge embracement to your establishment once things goes out of your hand, and every time a mail comes from a different person. JUST A KIND ADVICE PLEASE STUDY THE NATURE OF MY COMPLAINT AND THEN GIVE A SUITABLE REPLY, HAVE THE KIND COUTESY OF CALLING ME AND finding out my concern, also please keep a CC to cochin service centre so as iam convinced that you indeed spoke to cochin office and tried to sort out, trust me I would be highly relieved if a honest step is taken from your side …

        In brief my complaint was :

        • Samsung centre was approached for repairing the phone, they refused saying that the particular display was not available, later on after a month, company announced for payback of rs 3000, since display was not available and no promises that it would be .

        • Samsung service centre cochin received my phone with all paperwork’s including the bill copy required for refund .

        • After few days I was called and informed that my cheque book does not contain my name, so they require the copy of my pass book, I was out of station and gave the required copy after a week, they confirmed and acknowledged the receipt of the same .after 2 months I get a call that the display is now available, so it has to be repaired, I said this was not the agreement there was no talks of repair at all. The service centre says that I had delayed on submitting the paperwork’s, so the company refuses to accept .

        • Samsung service centres argument was that if parts are available, they can repair the same, but the same was not communicated, I personally approached the service centre and tried reasoning for 1 hour, they are sticking to the same point, just one question if the arrangement was such that if parts are available it would be repaired, why was my phone still not repaired, it clearly shows an element of doubt in what your staff says. Please note that my phone and all other documents are still in Samsung service centre cochin .

        • The service centre is just trying to cover up the mistake committed by them, but as responsible authorities why are we, iam open for a debate on this, lets please discuss and carry on with our schedules, please close my complaint, feel irritated being in the same industry, do you have any managers working in cochin, any responsible persons, please forward me his or her number .

            Samsung is failed to deliver the product being an leading MNC company, Without delivering the product, trying to prove that product is reached, which is not acceptable, Since product is not delivered to me,

            This product is booked & paid by myself ( Harisha KR ) then product suppose be deliver to me only as per the policy. Which I have not revived.

            As per online shopping terms says Delivery is 2 -4 business days

                Hi, samsung india - this to formally complain (Repeat complaint, in fact!) regarding my experience with the service center in bangalore (Btm layout) where i had taken my a8 to get a problem addressed. * issue * : there was a problem with the bottom panel ("home" & "back" keys) not working. Rest everything was absolutely fine and working. I was told that it would have to be replaced and may cost around inr 2k. I was ok with it. Before they opened the phone up, i asked them if there would be any other impact post opening and they answered "no" apart from fixing few adhesive tapes to be added. Post opening, they said the part - bottom panel - has moisture (Most common and standard reason/excuse by all service centers!) and need to be replaced. However the motherboard that was working fine all along till then had suddenly become non-functional once they touched it! And i was told to pay ~9k for that. My phone is a relatively new one (Just 2 weeks over a year) and have had no history of any other problem till then. * my concern * : service center was non-transparent and honest in telling me upfront that if we open the phone up, the mother-board could also become faulty. If they had told me so, i would not have taken a risk of 8-9k to get a 1.5-2k problem fixed. I would have lived with the apps-based keys to operate my phone. I asked the service center to give back the phone to me in the original condition but they refused to do so (Basically because of their incompetence and lack of transparency). One mr. Mayank from samsung delhi office got in touch with me and after discussions with the service center, told me that they can not get the phone back in the condition that it was in when i given it to them. He offered me 10% discount in the charges if i pay the rest. * feedback * : such behavior is simply unacceptable. More professionalism is expected from the samsung franchisees (Aka service centers) in india. I know similar problems in other countries are handled in a customer-friendly manner by samsung including replacement phones or repair; hence not sure why it is so pathetic in india. I have been using samsung phones since 2002 (First, a normal feature phone, note 1 and 3 and now a8). I had very high opinions about samsung even when my friend (S) have had similar service issues in the past. Such incidents will definitely make me think if i ever want to continue using samsung phones. * follow-up action * : i shall also reach out to the global customer services teams and log a complaint. Am looking forward to a satisfactory resolution of this issue at the earliest. I hope this would be looked into and i do not have to explore other options like approaching consumer grievance redressal forums.

                  I"ve given a Complaint no. which was not yet closed.

                  This problem is pending since 26th.Jan'17.
                  it pertains to Refrigerator model no. RT 28 Y.. HANDLED by your franchisee: KAISER ELECTRONICS, PATPARGANJ, DELHI.
                  Initially the problem was with Deep Freezer, Some part was replaced & bill raised by KAISER ON 28TH.JAN. BILLNO.3114/155653.
                  BILL CR NO.155653 DTD, 28/1/17 OF KAISER ELECTRONICS.
                  SERVICE ENGINEER WHO ATTENDED THE COMPLAINT is AJAY.
                  After that the Refrigerator stopped cooling.. The Service Engineer kept on promising that it will be repaired. some part will come. I "ll get the same issued from Service stores..etc.,
                  After rigorous follow Up, I spoke to the Service center at Patparganj, one Mr. Ankur who is handling the stores..
                  Now they are saying that the part Heating Element is not there.. after 2 weeks..
                  I want SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTER TO GIVE ME IN WRITING THAT THE SAID PART IS NOT AVAILABLE.. WHICH THEY SAY THEY CANT GIVE, ,
                  If Kaiser Electronics doesnt give me in writing the reason for delay in servicing the product & informing the statu/RESOLVE THE ISSUE, I am going to take it up very seriously at appropriate levels.. Pl. note.

                    6. lcd change

                    The resolution which samsung is providing for the registered complaints [protected], [protected] & [protected] is unsatisfactory, i am not getting on what grounds samsung is refunding 16692.50/-rs only when the voc was registered for 30350/-rs.

                    Since last 6 month or so i am waiting for a favorable resolution but not getting it. previously mr. pradeep kumar asked me to repair the handset at least 5 times & then he offered me an extended warranty for 6month by ensuring a quality repair. but the repair was never proper as one or the other problem was ongoing in handset.

                    Finally after my continuous effort for refund the case was accepted & i got a call from samsung service centre (padamshyam point), samsung care office in burhanpur (m. p.) stating that i need to submit necessary document to claim the refund. after submitting the entire document samsung executive asked me to wait for 15 working days.

                    When i didn’t receive the cheque or an update from samsung side i started reaching samsung toll free no. & every time i got the same response that the cheque is in process &the refund amount is rs.30350/-.

                    Miss dipa (senior executive) on 14.09.16 @ 10.00 confirmed me the amount of 30350/- rs

                    After continuous follow-ups on mails as well on toll free no. i received the cheque offering an amount of 16692.50/- rs. which is unacceptable. previously mr. pradeep kumar& now mr. ashish kumar both people are not answering

                    I request samsiung to look in the matter once again and provide the favorable resolution & compensation for the problem which i am facing since last 6 month. i am not excepting the cheque for 16692.50/- rs.

                    There are 3 conditions on which i can agree to close the issue:
                    1. full refund of 30350/-rs
                    2. if refund is 16692.50/- with that i need quality repair for the device
                    3. or complete device replacement
                    The handset is still in warranty & i am not getting satisfactory resolution even after commitment from samsung side.

                    Please take necessary action to solve the issue

                      My reference number is [protected]. I own a S7 Edge gold platinum and there i noticed a crack on the screen. When approached the service centre i was directed to the call centre on the grounds of your warranty policy not covering such quality faults. Moreover your service centre also confirmed that the crack was NOT DELIBERATE NOT ACCIDENTAL. So far i have never recieved any favorable response and moreover i was only blocked by your company and the employee named Swarti has also blocked me,
                      I have also spoken to your ASM and BSM. Only to receive the same non response. Your ASM Bhoopesh doesnt even have the courtesy of returning or attending my calls, he has no interest in talking to customers and his phone line is ever busy. Is this called REDRESSAL?
                      I have also proof from several people who have broken their screens (which were DELIBERATELY ACCIDENTAL DROPPED) and have managed to get a free of cost replacement. Your employees gave me a great lecture about your warranty policy of not covering screen cracks then how is it possible that these many people had gotten free of cost replacement, without your offers of Rs. 990 nor one time free replacement offer. Where is your warranty policy in these situations.
                      Your ASM, BSM are using their own discretion and discrimination on whom to charge and whom to give a free of cost service.
                      Your company is training your employees to give free of cost service for those who pull strings and have political influence and not to award any service or respite to the genuinely affected person on quality issue on your part. I think the meaning of your warranty policy underlyingly means to cover free of cost to those who use influence and not on genuine grounds of quality issue, For no fault of mine i have witnessed a crack on my screen despite using the flip cover sold by your company and now i'm asked to pay for 15k for a fault which is on your quality part and not on my part at any cost.
                      Is this what your company motto is to fleece money from the genuinely affected customer and to give free of cost discrimatory warranty policy to others.
                      I implore you to look into issue and the discrimation which is being followed by your ASM (Bhoopesh) and BSM in Chennai circle and their discrimation and indifferent and inconsiderate attitute towards the truly genuinely affected customer,
                      I have been your loyal customer for several years and i think i made a irretrievable blunder of shifting from Apple to your company only to witness this third rated service, discrimination in warranty redressal. Kindly offer a satisfiable solution for my problem at the earliest.

                      Reference number [protected]. I have already sent a mail earlier this day regarding my distress. Ive called the customer care only to learn that my complaint has already been closed on 9th FEB. Moreover the person named Swarti has closed the complaint.
                      FIrstly, when i last spoke to her i was not happy with her answer at all,
                      Secondly, i asked her to respeak with her team for a better solution and she had promised me a call back the next day after speaking to her team, the call still not yet received.
                      The following days i called the call centre several times and there was no response and Swarti extension number[protected] extension 9684 was also unanswered.
                      What authority she has to close the complaint, and before closing the complaint it is my RIGHT TO BE INFORMED and obtain consent which is not adhered to by this woman.
                      The hurry in closing the complaint goes to prove that you are on the WRONG SIDE and don't want to redress the grievance.
                      I personally request you to take action on this woman for her high handedness in favoring the company and not bothered about the consumer rights.
                      Is this the service that you train your employees to give to your customers.
                      If this is the high handed and inconsiderate defiant behaviour i'm going to get from your company you can definitely expect me to go legal as my consumer RIGHT to be informed is violated.

                        Dear team,

                        I bought samsung on nxt from samsung official website shop. Samsung.com on sunday 15 jan 2017 and got delivered on 19 jan 2017. My order id is[protected]
                        When i opened the package and swich on the phone, i noticed that the back button was not working. I called the samsung estore helpline number and told about the defected phone the executive told me to go to samsung service center and to get a do letter from there. Next day on 20 jan 2017 i visit samsung service center, kotla (Maa communication) there, the person sitting on the counter checked the phone till that time condition of the phone was proper then he told me that the engineer will check the phone and issue do letter but when he take the phone to engineer and come outside he told that the do letter of the phone can not issue because there is some scratch on top of the phone. When i handover this phone to engineer it was brand new with defective back button, there was no any scratch. I am sure it was intentionally scratch so that they deny to issue do letter.
                        Then again i called the customer care then he told me to submit the phone to service center and get the jobsheet of the phone. Then again i visited service center and submitted the phone (Jobsheet no is [protected]).
                        Now on 25 jan 2017 i got a call from service center that they will not repair the phone untill i pay repairing cost to them. When my phone is in full warranty then why should i pay the cost of repairing
                        One interesting thing i would like to share that, it is clearly mention in jobsheet that this phone is full warranty.
                        I had discussed all these in national consumer helpline, they had provied a docket no. 145908 and suggest me to share it with you.
                        I want replacement of defective phone, please look into matter positively other wise you compelled me to take legal action.

                          We just purchased a brand new $2, 600 Samsung RF28JBEDBSR 4-door refrigerator. After it was installed we immediately noticed a terrible odor coming from the top section of the refrigerator. It smells like a combination of chemical/sour odor. We took the food out to make sure something was not bad, and its NOT the food. We have had the fridge for over 6 weeks now and the stink continues.

                            As i purchased a samsung j5 on march 2016 and its warant is going to be over on march 2017 but on 1st jan my mobile suddenly stopped working, my display is not working while talking on phone i do not know what is the reason, so i went to the nearest service centre but they said it will open on 25jan 17, but again i went there it written it will open on 15 feb, they are giving dates day by day but my waranty period is upto march 17 only, and i cannot go outside my city as i am very busy with my schedule.

                              I purchased two sd cards through zoniic.Com of 128 gb and 64 gb, on[protected].But they are not working properly since the first day.When inserted both cards show their respective memories properly, but when some files are transferred on them it does not work .

                                I lodged a complaint for my samsung refrigerator rt45mais1xtl on the night of friday 10 february 2017. The complaint was lodged very promptly (Service order number [protected]) with the assurance that an engineer would visit to resolve the issue of the refrigerator not functioning. The engineer was prompt and visited within 12 hours of our having lodged the complaint, reposing our faith in samsung and leading us to believe indeed we have bought our product from the right company with the right kind of service back up.

                                But we were in no way prepared for the shoddy treatment that awaited us thereafter from a ‘world class company’ like samsung.

                                We were told by the visiting engineer krishna (Mobile no: [protected]) from hcl services ltd (Samsung authorized service centre – ground floor, old caprihans building, lbs marg, near mukund company, opp. Naaz hotel, kurla (West), mumbai 400070) on 11 february 2017 that the fan motor of the refrigerator was broken and needed to be replaced, which would cost us approximately inr 1500 (Rupees fifteen hundred only). I urged him to get it done on priority since we have small kids and need the refrigerator at all times even for their medicines among other things. He after checking about the availability of the part assured us that the problem would be fixed within two hours. We paid the service charge of inr 403/- on the spot to the engineer and he left.

                                The same day, another engineer by the name jayesh called us within an hour and said he was going to visit within half an hour and replace the fan motor. Yet again jayesh called within five minutes of making his first call and said the part that he has is not meant for our refrigerator and the one for us will only be available on monday february 13, 2017.

                                On 11 feb 2017, i called up the first engineer who had visited and he too said the same about the unavailability of the part until monday (13 feb 2017) and put the phone down. That is when i called up the customer care and spoke to an executive by the name anu and narrated the entire incident and requested them to expedite the process. I requested them to give me a status update on my complaint and was assured someone from samsung would revert to me a. S. A. P. But till date not a single update by means of a phone call or an sms has been sent to me.

                                Today (February 13), again when there was so sign of anyone visiting or any update on my request i called up the customer care and spoke to a lady debbie enquiring about the status of my request. She was clueless and promised to revert. I made a call at 2.45pm and asked to be notified by 3.45 pm without fail.

                                Till now, i have not received any update.

                                We have been using samsung products for many years and have always held the company in great regard for its after sales services. I hope you will appreciate our concern and address the urgency of the issue. This particular incident has left a bitter taste and timely resolution of this issue is definitely going to determine our buying any samsung products in future.

                                I look forward to get this issue resolved at the earliest.
