I had bought a 19' LCD Samsung monitor (920 NW) in Oct 2007 and it recently started giving me trouble.
After 10 days of the complaint and numerous phone calls a person from Samsung came - that too with a FAULTY replacement part (and now calls it an "incorrect" replacement part).

Been following up for a replacement part - been more than 2 weeks.

Attaching copies of communication with Samsung - (If it was not my complaint , I'd find this funny) - especially not being told the name of the engineer from the service centre that would be visiting "for SECURITY REASONS" !!!!!!

With reference to my complaint No: [protected], (Web complaint Transaction no: [protected].), the problem has not been addressed.

I was told that an engineer would visit me today (Tuesday, 11th May 2010) - but nobody has come. I also tried contact the number (Mr Praveen, Phone No: +91-[protected]) that I had got - but nobody is picking up my call.

I called up the customer care number at[protected] and I spoke to a lady - Ms. Shivani. I had spoken to her last week as well and she again assured me that the engineer "will come tomorrow" (12th May 2010, Wednseday). I requested to speak to a supervisor and I was put on hold and told later that the supervisor "spoke with the centre" and an engineer would visit me tomorrow.

I asked for expected time of visit, address of the service centre was given to me and even the name of the engineer who would visit but I was told I cant be given that information "for security reasons"!!!
I called up the number of the dealer[protected] given by Ms.Shivani and it was incorrect. The dealer name I was told was FIEL Services, Gurgaon.

I again called up the helpline and I was give another number - saying that my complaint has been forwarded to CL Services, Gurgaon with the numbers[protected]/82). Nobody is picking up at these numbers either. I was told your systems do not store the address of the service centres.

I find the behavior and interaction with Samsung customer care extremely deplorable and least expected from a company of your repute.

May I request you to kindly address my complaint at the earliest without further harassment.

Complaint No: [protected] - Extremely disappointing service
Dear Sir,

I contacted Samsung customer care regarding a problem with my Samsung 19' wide screen LCD TFT monitor (Model No: 920 NW).

I lodged a complaint on 24th April 2010 and I was told a person from the service centre would contact me within 2 hours.
Mr Praveen (Phone No: +91-[protected]) from one of the Samsung centres contacted me and informed me that the replacement LCD screen for my monitor is out of stock and would be available within a week. After a week elapsed,I had to by repeatedly contact the service centre and I was informed that the part would be replaced by Tuesday(4th May 2010).

Mr. Praveen did not arrive and after following up with him again he came on Wed, 5th May 2010.
The replacement part that had been shipped in was also found to be faulty.
He took the faulty screen back and said he would arrive the next day before 1700 hrs. I called him in the evening, as he had not arrived as promised and he infrormed me that he would be there the next day, on Friday.(7th May 2010) with the replacement.

I called him in the morning on 7th May 2010 to confirm his visit and he said that he would visit me before the end of the day (7th May 2010) - He did not.
I contacted the call centre again (On[protected] and I spoke to a Supervisor (Ms. Manisha) at the 'technical department' who assured me that I would get a call back from Samsung confirming the delivery date of the part and my complain would be resolved 'within 24 hours'. I also gave the contact details of Mr. Praveen.
I did not receive any call either from Samsung customer care or the service centre.

Today, in the morning I called up the call centre again and asked regarding my complaint and I was told I will get a call back within 'two hours' - I have not not got a call.
I had also requested to speak to a supervisor and I was told that the 'call is not getting transferred'.

I called up the dealer/service centre (Mr. praveen), again who picked up my call after I tried numerous times and informed me that the 'part has been ordered' and will be delivered to him by 'Tuesday' (which is 11th May 2010)!
When I asked him how he promised to visit and replace the part by 7th & 8th May if he did not have the part, he said he would contact his 'senior' and get back to me.
He has not.

I find the after sales service of Samsung deeply disappointing and stressful. Even after precise and diligient follow-up by me, on my complaint, it has not been addressed and I have still no idea as to why there is a delay in resolution of my complaint.

May I request you to kindly address my complaint (Complaint No: [protected]) at the earliest and ensure that customers do not have to go through an harrowing time to get a complaint resolved.

The interaction with your staff and the quality of spare parts delivered speaks volumes of Samsung's lack of seriousness towards quality.

    I purchesed GTS5233W Samsung mobile on Nov 2009, with in 7 months
    touch sensor got failliure, when i went to samsung service center it was in Annanagar ( Hi-Tech Solution) one of the Authorised Samsung service center,There was so many peoples are complaining the same problem,also they are souting like a fish market. they are telling spare parts not available, Everybody telling they are delaying one month to two months because of spare parts non availability,
    iam as of now four times went to the service center they always telling two day, two days, they given service center number to all coustomer [protected] it was not working, another one [protected] this number nobody pickuping , how can we approch those peoples, if they are keeping my handset for two month with them, what is the meanning for one year warrenty. how can they say as one year warrenty. this is the best experience of samsung's poor service. here after i will never bye any product of Samsung also not suggest to anybody.

    i totally agree with the above complaint as i have experienced the same problem regarding touch sensor failure of GT-S5233W. i bought the mentioned model from the HOTSPOT (model town branch) shop less than a year ago and i went to the same hotspot branch for the service and repair of my handset but to no avail. from there i got the address of samsung service centre nearest to my house situated at ASHOK VIHAR address 14, CENTRAL MARKET ASHOK VIHAR NEW DELHI 110052 in the name of ADITYA INFOCOM. staff was very rude and inefficient as they were telling to every complainant to call them on next day in the evening to know about the status of their handset and i was dealt with the same attitude. but next day i called them on their prescribed ph no but the phone was busy through out 3 to 4 hours and finally i managed to talk to them after 2 days but i was shocked to know that it will take another 8 to 9 days to get my handset repaired as the spare part ( new touch sensor ) is not available to them
    I somehow disagree to above complaint, today i visited them along with my wife in afternoon and asked them to repair my phone (GT-S5233S) on priority as I need to leave for family holiday tomorrow morning. Thankfully they had the part available with them and phone was fixed-up within an hour. Though I need to run around for getting xerox of my invoice which was at my home, but at the end I am satisfied as my phone is working and fit.

      Iam purchase the new samsung corby txt mobile on 24 jan 2010 and that handset having a Eco problem and samsung service center (Raza services) not correct the problem even in times repairing and forth time the said the mobile have to replace board of handset and they said it will repair in 7-10 days at the time submiting (mobile submit to service center on 19 april 2010)the mobile in service center. After that their is no response from the service center till date. Every time on calling to the service center they said your mobile will not repair and every time they give new date and even not talk properly and manager of that service center is also not responded well. Nearly one month is completed for submiting the mobile on service center and they not responsed and the only handset i have and iam very big problem because iam contact any one without that.. So that i want to register a case against samsung company and their service center .

        1. i m unable to configure yahoo mail account on device. so, pls suggest the all port numbers and steps of configuration.

        2. internet is automatically disconnect after every 20 to 25 mins. so. suggest me something on this issue.

        3. i m unable to set other themes other than two inbuilt themes. so, suggest me how can i set other themes. ( i thried to set buy downloading other themes but it was not possible. )

          We purchased a Samsung Mobile ( Model # C3010 ) on 5th July '09 and we are facing problem in the Handset since 6th Apr'10, please find the description of the problem as written below:

          Problem Description: Battery of the handset is discharging in just 2 hours after
          charging it completely ( as visible from the display screen )
          even when phone is not used.

          Action taken till now: we handed over our phone to the service centre of Samsung
          located at Mahavir Enclave, Dabri Road, Near Palam Flyover,
          West Delhi where in they took 15 days to get it repaired and
          now even after repair i am facing the similar problem.

          Since past one month I have been suffereing a lot becuase of this defect in the product. I am so busy that it will not be easy for me to go again to that service centre where the behaviour of the service centre staff is not good.

          Please help ASAP!

            My son, Rajesh Kumar Verma, has gifted me Samsung's Coby Mate Mobile Phone which was purchased form M/s Infibeam.com, online shop, vide Order ID & Invoice ID no. 7546016 / 16068184. "Samsung New PC Studio" software was also supplied along with the phone. Now I am finding difficulty in getting installed this software. When ever it is tried to install on computer message comes like "1628: installation failed to complete". Please help

                1) Model No. AST18P0GEA/XTL, 1.5ton 3star split AC.BP No. [protected], Transaction no. is [protected], Transaction no. is [protected] and Transaction no. is [protected]

                2) 1 year warranty with service within hours promised while purchasing.

                3) Details of the deficiency in the product or service-
                While installing the AC the installation people have bent the copper pipe which is causing malfunction of AC. I complained on 30th April and people turned up on 4th May they saw the defect and said someone will come and resolve but no one came. Also the service by the customer care was pathetic, where I was made to make a lot of calls to the customer care but could get only mental agony.

                4) List the problems I’m facing due to this deficiency-
                For last 10 days since I registered the complaint the mental agony I’ve gone thru calling up Customer Care sending email for quite a lot number of times and every time get a reply that somebody would get back, but no one does that. The customer care call puts you on a long call waiting killing a lot o[censored]seful and productive time.
                The response to the issue has been worst.

                5) Details about efforts to inform about this grievance in the past to which the party has not responded-
                I registered a complaint on[protected] for the fault at 30thApril 10. I was assured that the service Engineer would visit before evening of 30th April. The one never visited or called on that day. I made multiple calls and emails and asked for supervisor but I was never put on the supervisor’s line.
                Feeling helpless the way Samsung customer support dealt with its customers, I’m writing to you.BP No. [protected], Transaction no. is [protected], Transaction no. is [protected] and Transaction no. is [protected]
                Now 10 days are over after I registered the complaint.

                6) What needs to be done: Samsung service should come and replace the copper pipe and correct the installation free of cost.

                Samsung — Nobody responding to Split AC repair complaint

                I had purchased a Split AC for my parents in May 2009. After working for 15 days AC stopped working. Its not cooling at all. After repeated visits to Bharat Electronics, Bhubaneswar, Orisaa and calling Samsung office for Servicing , no body bothers to attain the complaint in last three months. Many commitments over the phone and visit but finally no result. We have spent 39000 and just waiting for somebidy to attain the complaint. This is samsung and its service center or delar's standard in india.

                Need some contact emails or phone numbers in Samsung who can help us in this regard. Before going to Consumer court, I want to give a last try.

                Sub : Complaint no. [protected] dt.29/04/2010 regarding watetr & gas leakage from 1.5 ton Samsung Split AC

                Dear Sir,
                To day it is the 12th day and my complain still remains unsolved. I have asked specific questions:
                1 Now this AC is not functioning properly right from the begining, This is the third time they will fill the gas in the warranty period.Your service department will fill the gas and if it leakes again (as it has already leaked thrice in one year) then what will be your action on the same as our warrant will expire soon.
                2 On 10th day (after registering the complaint) Your Service Executive Mr. Mobin tells me that you have purchased this AC from M/s ARCEE, Nerul and so he will not send the mechanic to repair my AC and M/s ARCEE.person will repair it.
                This AC I bought from M/s ARCEEE, your Dealer, but it is not manufactured by M/s ARCEE. I bought this AC made by M/s SAMUNG INDIA ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD. I consider this company is solely responsible for all the malfunctions and deficiency in customer service.
                3 If yoy can not answer my these questions and also cannot resolve my peoblem in that case give Name, Contact No. and office address of General Manager, Customer Services, Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. So that I can contact hi to solve my problem.

                First of all such a world wide consumer electronics company does not have qualified service engineer team is really surprising.Even they dont have AMC contract after warranty is over.I bought Window AC Samsung make in the year 2008. Uptil now it has been failed for 4 times. Gas leakage & display pcb not working are common problem. Service center technician comes and simply tell we have to take the AC to w/s and transport charges you have to pay. This has been happen repeatedly and chrges of maintenance are arbitary without any guaranttee.Will Samsung will look in to this matter and do something about this.Waiting for your favourable answer [protected]@barc.gov.in
                It is really pathetic to deal with Samsung...as nobody is there to take care of customers problems... I have also gone through the same experience. First the call is registered, then they take so many days to turn up ...after that they come and just infom us the problem... another few days will go ... when they come to collect AC for rectification...after a month or so... they would tell the customer of some other problem and expenses... Now that we are waiting for our AC to be returned ...so many days have passed...i think we all should go and file a case against them in consumer court... otherwise...they are not going to listen.
                WILL SAMSUNG TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS PROBLEM OTHERWISE THEY SHOULD STOP SELLING ANY PRODUCT.

                  I purchased the Samsung LCD

                  Sr.no. 13623ZNZ103117L
                  The SMSUNG is advertising the dynamic contrast ration of 50000:1 for the model LA22B450C4 having the same MRP. I purchased the said LCD after going through advertisement in its website.
                  When I asked about the dynamic contrast ratio of LCD TV I purchased, the Samsung customer care has not confirmed the dynamic contrast ratio of 50000:1 but his sales manages said on phone that these LCD TVs has contrast ratio of 15000:1.
                  I requested many times to confirm the actual contrast ratio/ dynamic contrast ratio of the LCD I purchased. The Samsung customer care has not confirmed the same.
                  Is there any variation in the contrast ratio advertised and the actual? If not so, then why the Samsung is reluctant to reply/confirm the same.

                      This is to bring to your kind attention that there possibly exists an unholy nexus between Samsung Customer Service personnel and local Service centres and this mail comes with the hope that your esteemed Company is unaware of this nexus and will immediately take measures to address this fraud.

                      On 5th May 2010 late afternoon, my Samsung refrigerator (double door Silver Nano) stopped working and I immediately called up the Samsung Service Centre[protected] to request them to send a technician as soon as possible.

                      My request was taken and a complaint number BP NO: [protected] was provided to me by the Customer Service. Next day (6th May 2010), I received a call in the morning from one Shakeel (Mobile number: [protected]) who claimed to be an authorized Samsung technician. He said that he would come in the afternoon to look into the problem.

                      Shakeel came at around 2.30pm and after an inspection of the fridge informed that the Timer had to be replaced. As he had brought spare Timers with him, he replaced the faulty Timer with a new one and charged Rs.3300 (Rupees three thousand three hundred) for the Timer and Rs. 200 (Rupees Two hundred) as Service Charge.

                      However, when he presented the bill, I saw that it was one of Shivam National Electronic Service (I have attached a scanned copy of the bill with his mail). When I asked him about this, he assured me that it’s from Samsung and Shivam National Electronics Service is a valid and authorized centre of Samsung. In all my trust on the goodwill of Samsung, I paid him the abovementioned amount.

                      However, on 8th May 2010, Samsung sent another person for site inspection at my house as I had expressed a desire to buy the newest model of Samsung refrigerator at Kohinoor Electronics, Dadar. This model needs to be connected to a water supply and I was told that someone should first do the site inspection to ensure that it can be installed at my house. When we showed him the bill given by Mr. Shakeel, he immediately said that it was a case of fraud and that Samsung always gives an original bill! Also, he said that the Timer costs a maximum of Rs. 309 (Rupees three hundred and nine) and Service charge of Rs. 250 plus tax (Rupees two hundred and fifty plus tax).

                      I immediately called up Samsung Customer Service and enquired about the reason for sending someone like Shakeel who cannot give original bills and charges so much more than the Company price of Timer!!! Unfortunately and suspiciously, they could not give us any answer and asked us to contact Shivam National Electronics Service. They ignored our protests for help. Despite repeated calls, we were put on hold continuously and no one attended our queries!

                      I would therefore demand to know:
                      a) Whether Samsung knowingly indulges in such fraudulent practices and cheats customers?
                      b) If Samsung is unaware of these malpractices, then are the Customer Service personnel earning on the side and cheating not only the customers but also the goodwill and reputation of the company?

                      c) How soon will you look into this matter and take appropriate measures against the guilty party/parties?

                      Knowing the reputation of your company and obvious face-loss that you would suffer knowing how easy it is to play fast and loose with the company’s reputation, I would expect a call with the explanations within two working days with suitable compensation.

                      Since it’s a clear case of cheating, malpractice and fraud, as a customer, I am absolutely shocked at the way we have been cheated by your personnel. I will also assume that you will immediately take up the matter unless you are a guilty party too. If such be the case, we will have no other option but to approach the Consumer Forum and the electronic media to expose this racket and seek justice.

                      SAMSUNG - Fridge — Cheating

                      I had purchased a new 280 Ltrs Samsung Fridge fm dealer Vivek&Co on Nov 07 and was delivered a faulty m/c with gas leakage. After persistent f/u it took 20 days for replacement. The replaced fridge was also faulty and again lodged a complaint. After a month they replaced with a new one and again it was a faulty one. This time I was not interested in Samsung and asked the dealer to supply a new make. I got a new one from the dealer after 3 months of fighting. This is just to inform Samsungs poor response to customers compalints and negative tactics of supplying faulity ones again and again as they have no stock of new ones during festive times and supply of faulty fridges.

                      i had purchased a samsung refrigrator in jul 10
                      the refrigrator veg compartment has excess moisture
                      on complaining the service pers comes and keeps drilling holes , cutting the tray everytime
                      the problem is not solved
                      samsung is doing research and development post sale at consumers residence it seems.
                      they are not replacing my product which is in warranty pd
                      I also purchased a samsung refrigerator about 4 years back and I am also facing the same type of complaint i.e, there is excess moisture in the vegetable compartment and the vegetables get rotten due to absorbtion of excess moisture. even after several complaints it is the same problem continuing
                      The same thing happened to me couple of days ago in Bangalore. The way things happened is 100% similar. Issue with Fridge and amount are different. Customer care person said he will ask his manager to give me a call, when i called and told this. But the call never came.

                          I am using a Smsung D900i set for last two years. since last few months the performance of battery became vey poor. I visited samsung sevice center at BTM layout bangalore. The receptionist told me that the battery (and back cover which also i wanted) is not available but she will take an order an get it by next thursday. the date was 3rd april. then i visited on next thursday and she said the same thing. i asked for phone number so that i can check befoer coming as i had to travel 2.5 hours to reachthat place.the number that is mentioned on samsung's oficial website nobaody picks up the phone. she gave me her manage's Mr, Tyagarajan phone number. i called next week just to hear the same thing that its not yet arrived. and the same thing continued for another week. even when i called she (the eceptionist) said that she will check and call back in 5-10 min whioch she never did. i was leaving bangalore on 1st may and i needed the battery very urgently. but i could not... i had to suffer a lot because of that.
                          even when i visited the service center i found many agitated customers...

                          Same is the case with me! Same receptionist, same answer, same attitude. They will never get you the battery. Morever, Samsung does not want you to use the same cell phone for many years. They deprecate batteries and other accessories so that you buy new cell phone every year. Pathetic experience.
                          I really feel purchasing a samsung product after the level of service is provided to me.

                          i have given my mobile for servicing 2 weeks back saying my touch screen is not working till know i dont know what is status is the status of it. i got the phone number in the bill which is [protected] which i didnt even see my phone i have tried so many time just to enquire about the status of my mobile but all the reply i get is LINE BUSY. After 2weeks i got a commitment saying it ll be given on Friday ie., 9th jan but even today i dont if my mobile is there or serviced or ur people have rented or using my mobile.

                            Samsung is providing a worst service for its customers. I had bought a samsung star touch phone (model no: s5233a) on june 23rd 2009. Its touch was not functioning and i gave it in service center on march 9th. When i gave, they said that as there is a shortage of spares, we cannot return it in this month. So i called them in april and they said stocks did not come, pls wait for few more days. I said ok and then again after few days they repeated the same problem. I have mailed about the problem to the company. After few days someone from samsung service called me and told that your mobile is ready for delivery. When i went there in the morning at about 10.30am, they asked me 1/2hr. Again i went at 12pm, again they have asked 1/2hr. So i went in the evening at about 5pm, to my surprise they said that the mobile is not ready. They said it has got a motherboard problem also. Here my question is if the mobile is not ready for delivery how can they call me and tell that your mobile is ready for delivery?., If it has got a problem why didn't they inform me it in the morning itself? Really this is a worst service from samsung. When i gave the mobile to them, its keys were functioning properly but only the screen was not functioning. But today they say that its motherboard also has got a problem. I cant understand this. I am being mentally tortured with this worst service quality. Also the response in the service center looks quite different from that of other service centres. I doubt whether these people are trained for this job or not. Samsung being a worldwide reknowned company is providing such a cheap quality service. Hence i request not to go for samsung. Their mobiles are not upto the mark and their service is even worsssstttttttt.

                              Worst Service by Samsung Mobile Centre at Trichy (Vishnu Electronics)
                              I had ealier reported complaint about bad service by Samsung Service centre at Vishnu Electronics (Trichy-Tamil nadu) for my Samsung SCH-M569 handset as written below.Later I got a call for Samsung Service Centre for trichy Region Mr.Raju. He took all details from me and later promised that he will get back to me in 2 days or and he requested to me that incase he forgot he will get back to me.As expected after 2 days I had to call him for the status, but he replied that he has escalated the case to his seniors and will get back to me as he gets a report from them.But as usual he didnt reported , and I called him again.The same continued for around 15-20 days that he always said that he will call back, but apart from the first call he never called me back.
                              The last call was around 10 days back and he said that as a customer I have to bare half cost for Speaker replacement, Later he again said that he will call back,but till date he hasn't and I can bet that he must have forgotten about he.Such is the service by Samsung Mobile.

                              As directed by the SAMSUNG H.O Chennai, i had handover the SAMSUNG Mobile model: B5310 which i bought before 1 month to the Samsung Authorized Mobile service center - Vishnu Electronics, 4th Cross Thillai Nagar, Trichy, Tamil Nadu, and the problem was it doesn not recognize the SIM and Memory Card and which i had given before a 10 days of time. I am did not get any call from the service centers as the promised me that they will inform in a 3 stipulated days of time explaining the problem also from my side i was trying to reach out your office number, it was also not working. Finally i went directly to the service center despite from my place (at Karur travel of 2 hours to Trichy), which i don't have a service center at Karur, there was no response at the reception where i directly went to the Software Engineer and inquired about the status of work. I was shocked to hear that the order was not done to my mobile missingly, but whenever i tried to reach them ( more than 2 - 3 times a day) they give me wrong bluffing information. Just before 5 minutes i was in conference with the reception saying it would take another 10 days for new order of mother board.

                              Please seriously take up this issue from your side and I believe the all the staff level information is not taken up to the authority, take this not as a complaint and kindly provide us a solution at the earliest, If the same exists, I am going to sue a complaint at your service center.

                                I Anitha.S purchased Samsung washing Machine on 22/10/2009 and from 3 days it is not working properly. I have logde a complaint regarding this to customer care and the reference number as follow:[protected]. But till today nobody have turned up and from past two days i am with touch with the customer care executive by name Bhavani,Ranjith, Radha etc. .....But still yet nobody has respond properly even after contacting the BTM Layout Technicians number 66595176/66595000. Very bad service Samsung is having. We really made a mistake of buying the Samsumg Product. From past 3 days we are calling the customer executive and telling them regarding Washing Machine. Please look into this seriously or just pay back our money if you don't provide proper service.

                                  I purchased a Samsung 8300 Ultra Slim mobile phone for 3G connection. It doesn't show coverage where singles are little weak. I submit it to the Samsung customers Care Center 1 month ago in GOA. But still i dont get my mobile yet and even they did not provide any Stand by phone for me. Even they also dnt know when i get my phone back and Samsung is the worst company towards customer satisfaction. There staff did give any feedback regards my phone.

                                    This is the worst servicing centre I have ever seen. I gave my mobile for servicing through Planet M. They gave on april 6th service center people kept for 3days and gave back this needs software update we will inform when it is available. 20 days passed we keep calling them but no response . again they have taken on may 3rd .... still thay say it need sone more week to decide whether it is hardware or software. and the manager of servicing center, he speaks roughly like ... when the update is there we will inform.

                                    the manager behaves rudely with customers ...
                                    I agree totally that the Ameerpet samsung Mobile service centre is the worst of its kind. There is total apathy from the service men, no one offers proper advice and to beat it all the room stinks o[censored]rinals.
                                    THIS MOST WORST IN THIS EARTH, THEY HAVE VERY WASTE FELLOWS NO ONE CAN REPLAY FOR A SINGLE QUESTION ALSO, AND THE MANAGER THERE IS VERY IRRESPONSIBLE. SO PLZ CHANGE THE MANAGEMENT OF THAT BRANCH OTHER WISE YOU HAVE PAY MORE( LOOSING UR CUSTOMERS)

                                      I am the unfortunate owner of a Samsung refrigerator and to my ill luck I realized it is not functioning on the 1st of May. 1st of May being a holiday and 2nd of May being a Sunday I was only able to inform the Samsung India call center of this on the morning of 3rd of May. I was given an assurance that my problem would be attended to by 8.30 pm the very same day. I must say I was impressed and happy I had chosen Samsung. But after this it was all downhill.

                                      Today it is the 6th of May and all I have in my hand is a non-functional refrigerator, umpteen assurances by the Samsung India Call Center executives and their team leaders that my complaint will be attended to by the end of 3rd May, 4th May, 5th May..., generic email replies to my complaints made by email and posted on the space provided in the Samsung India website, a huge telephone bill (as the Samsung India call center number is an STD number for me - the toll free number doesnt work for me as I belong to the larger portion of the population which doesnt have a BSNL or MTNL connection and the wait for a Samsung India Call Center executive to be available has sometimes been as high as 30 minutes), and lastly rotting vegetables and fruits.

                                      I have in the last few days come to the following realizations:

                                      - The maximum you can expect when you lodge a complaint with the Samsung India Call Center is an assurance of service and a dream of actual service.
                                      - Samsung India Call Center executives consider handling customer calls as unofficial work. After making umpteen calls and receiving no service I started asking to speak to someone senior on the floor and I was repeatedly told in multiple calls that the team leaders are in a meeting about some 'official' matter!
                                      - There is absolutely no sense of ownership in the Samsung India Call Center team leaders. On the 4th of May at 6.30 pm I spoke with a team leader (he was supposed to call me up but after a long wait and no call I had to place a call for the nth time) and he assured me he would speak to people at the Service Center and get back to me in half an hour; when I did not receive any call till 7.10pm I called again and I was told he had left for the day!!
                                      - Escalating complaints to the only email ID provided or through the space provided in the Samsung India website is only a waste of time as all that you get is a generic reply stating "We apologize for the inconvenience....and we have forwarded this to the relevant department".

                                      I end this post with the hope that someday in the near future my complaint will be attended to..

                                      samsung india refrigerator — Non Responsive attitude

                                      I bought a refrigerator on 27th June 2009 from Audio Voice(India) Pvt Ltd, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi.
                                      The refrigerator has not been cooling at all since Saturday evening. I lodged a complaint in the morning at samsung Call center[protected] and spoke to an executive called Ruchi. She told me that on Sunday no service engineers will come and therefore it can be done only on Monday.
                                      Mt querry is simple .... why cant Samsung service its product on Sunday, if they cant then i shall get it done on my own and sue the company for not giving proper customer support, or do i wait for Monday and get everything spoiled and whats the use having a refrigerator under warranty.
                                      Even the call center works between 9 am to 8 pm, why cant you have an automated registry of complaints.
                                      These MNCs like Samsung only know to sell or rather push their cheap quality products and just for the name sake they attach a term which they call as customer care in which 'Care' does not exist. I highly recommend not to buy any Samsung products.
                                      We the customers should let these companies realize our power. If we make brands, we can destry them as well. Join hands and teach them a lesson.
                                      Its the buyers market, the consumer is the king, if there is no after service then there will be no sale -get the message ????
                                      What a nightmarish experience! I'll keep your experience in mind while making my next home appliance purchase decision.

                                      I had puchased samsung refrizerator on 30/07/2008 from Allied electronic Dilshad Garden, Delhi. After one year and 11 months starts creating a problems, not cooling properly. I lodeged complaint on 28/6/2010, complaint no.[protected], engineer visit on 29/06/2010 and told that some problem in your feezing unit and gas again have to be filled. I would like to know from Company that why problem occur even refrizerator put in safe place. If the company want to win the custmers reliabilty, problem should reactify immediately, free of cost. If it will not reactify, It would show where the Sumsung stand..

                                      I also have a complaint regarding my 400L double door refrigirator 'SAMSUNG' make.The machine is not cooling since 4/10/10.Complaint lodged with the customer service.Mechanic came replaced some parts against payment but it did not work.Visited again a few times but without any result.Now they are giving me a proposal to get the depreciated value @ 20% per year.So this fridge is say 4 years old that means they will deduct 80% of the bill amount n refund the balance.The crux of the issue is that the company is not in a position to repair their own machine which speaks volumes about SAMSUNG.One does not buy a fridge for a few years to be thrown away.So let us form an association of dissatisfied SAMSUNG consumers and take action jointly with a class action suit.

                                      I Purchased Samsung refrigerator on 03.04.2007 (Model No.RT34 M) and same has started giving problems on15.11.2007. I have called to service center but it is waste of our time. Again the compressor failed on 19.01.2008 and same was not attend till 28.01.2008 (10 Days) and they repaired with collecting any charges for filling gas. Again on it went out of order and complaint was lodged on 16.08.2008 and same was attended 19.08.2008 by local Samsung dealer in Bellary (Karnataka) after laps of 4 days.

                                      Again on 23.10.2010 I have tried to lodge a complaint on helpline No.[protected] but the helpline No.is not connected and wasted half an hour, Than I called up to Local service dealer and obtained another No.[protected] and lodge the complaint on 25.10.2010 vide complaint No. [protected] but there was no response from the Samsung India. Again I called on 27.10.2010 around 9.30 in the morning to the call center to speak to higher authority but the call center person informed that the higher authority is not available. On 27.10.2010 service Engineer had checked the refrigerator on 27.10.2010 at 16.30 and told the the compressor has been failed and the same shall be replaced free as it is under warranty but I shall be charged for refueling the gas. I hope the Samsung India does not know the meaning of WARRANTY, and same has not been attened till 28.10.2010. The Consumers in India after paying huge amount we have face the problems like this. I humbly request the CONSUMERS IN INDIA think twice before buying SAMSUNG product.
                                      My samsung fridge RT 34XVDSI/xtl was biught in March 2010. Immediately it started making a noise. On compalining the Samsung technician came down and did some minor adjustments. Again on 01.09.2010 i amade a complaint No [protected]. They came and changed the compressor. It worked OK for 70 Days and on 18.11.2010 i registered another complaint. SAme No On 20th a tecnician came Call no [protected] Mr Arvind he saw the fridge and said its OK. Now on 21st it has stopped working completely.
                                      Either Samsung products are of absolutely bad quality or Samsung service is pathetic! After investing nearly 40, 000/- in the fridge i am left with just a cupboard and i dont know even if samsung repairs it how long will it last before it gets spoilt again.
                                      Can anyone suggest which fridge i should buy in the future which will not get spoilt within the 1st year itself
                                      I buy the samsung refrigerator from MB trader Siliguri which is not working since may 10 upon frequent complain at service center one service man came and change the parts that is chargeable, but again it dosen 't work again I complain again the service man came again he change but again it dosent work and I call them frequently but now they did not come Samsung big brand cannot repair even his own product what the use of buying samsung

                                      This has reference to Refrigerator I have purchased on 14th March
                                      2011 bearing Sr. No. 06054ZAZ606804F, Model RA19BP 7S from one of your
                                      distributor, M/s Shri Vaibhav Electronics based at Shalimar Garden,
                                      Extn. – II, I have been facing the problem of Wrong fitting of Freezer
                                      Compartment Door, because of wrong fitting it has got damaged and this
                                      has brought in to the notice of your service engineer in Aug &
                                      November 23rd 2011, I have incurred the loss of the charge of Broken
                                      Compartment / Assembly Cover- Part No. DA[protected]A, within one month
                                      this problem arises again and same has been brought into the notice to
                                      the customer care department in the month of December 2011 and again
                                      one of the engineer has visited us for attending the complaint and he
                                      has confirmed that this problem is arising again & again due to the
                                      faulty lock fitting of the Freezer Compartment Door, I have been
                                      regular in touch with your customer care department since January
                                      2012, but my complaint has not been resolved till date, every time
                                      your engineer is conveying the message to me over the phone to attend
                                      the complaint for this fault and demands the repair charges. Pls find
                                      aatt. file of brocken assembliy cover.



                                      And apart from the above, I have tried my level best to speak to
                                      Service Manager in your Customer Care / Service Department but he is
                                      giving any response back, I don’t think being an MNC this is the work
                                      culture in your organization.



                                      When this Refrigerator is in Warranty then why should I bear the loss
                                      again & again for the manufacturing defect, I need the solution to
                                      this problem or else I have to go to the consumer Forum / Court.

                                      Dear Samsung Team,

                                      With reference to the trailing mail. One of your technician/Engineer
                                      visited our address and replaced the dammaged part which has been
                                      done earlier also but it happened again due to wrong assembly of the
                                      model. Now I have been asked for replacement of the whole fridge coz
                                      it will happen again for sure.
                                      Now I am just asking you that if the same will happen again who will
                                      take the responsibility of your fault?????

                                      Your organisation/Company/Brand is harashing for none of our faults.
                                      Samsung is very reputed brand and this is all nonsense if the same
                                      problem will arise again that will be non tollarable .If I have paid
                                      the amount for the product why fault will be tollarable. I want the
                                      product to be replaced tottaly with the new one. Otherwise I will have
                                      go ahead and take legal action against the complaint.

                                      If Not then assure us in writing dat this will not happen again in
                                      future and this time repairing has been done correctlly and same
                                      fault will not raise furtuer.
                                      Your service team responce very bad & call centre not perfacly answerable.
                                      Iam surpriced to your service team suddenly go to my home & change
                                      without information.Why???????????.
