First the executive calls me called Vivek pandey he calls me every single minute forcing me to pay a sum of 1805 INR for resume highlights etc, second step the relationship manager calls me called Mr Rohit he says pay this amount 2358 nothing else and then once i make payment of 2358 another mail pops up with a sum of 5122 which i refused, they are just cheating calling 10 times and not giving a clear picture on the amount of payments to be made, when i called for a refund they refused .

Please help

    One of the shine.com executives called me at 09:45 on 23.09.2023 the number is +[protected] and we spoke about jobs with paid service. we talked for about 20 minutes. they said this is a one-time payment service, and we will provide assistance for the next 12 months for getting a job in the Panchkula, Haryana Location. I have paid 3691.00 rupees to their shine.com account. later they called me and demanded 5297.00 rupees.

    I am totally upset with their demand. they are cheating on job seekers.

    currently, I am feeling not well and my mental health is disturbed by their demands.

    please help me get my money along with the proper justification from shine.com

      22 September 2023 I received a call from number [protected] at 10:54 that they are calling from shine .com are told me about premium package of 3500 that said they are giving me discount and asked for 3292 which I paid after word they told they assigned an RM . Then started a payment game. They asked payment in chunks sometime 8444, 14642, 29498, 39895 and they are asking 42000. I don’t want any service and want my whole money back. Shine .com is deceiving people. It’s a fraud company playing with the sentiment. I am fade up of everything they are calling again n again with different number and pressuring since 23 morning I am again started getting calls. Please return my money

        Subject: Resume Booster service. Your order number for your reference is 489573.

        Really I so surprised, your team is eagerly getting money from the job hunters, but whatever you planned to take from us you could have inform us well in advance. You do not know how the job hunters paying you, whenever you asked for the money to complete the profile.

        1. Morning I paid 3292/- but the representative doesn't inform there is further charge applicable for education verification, representative forced me to pay to avail the service, I paid
        2. By evening Relationship Manager (Shiva) called explained everything and later he asked me to pay for the verification, I have raised the concern why don't inform us initially he was saying n number of reasons which is not acceptable and i paid also 5192/-. RM forced me to pay to move further the service, I paid.
        3. Again the RM asking there is one more invoice for job profile verification, when i saw the amount is 9556/- that time only I realized that is the different amount which I need to pay, And the RM forcing me to, but I refused to pay, and he don't want to disconnect the call which is not safer him, so disconnected the call from my end so he can claim clint disconnected the call, how trained there are.

        If you have certain process inform well in advance to the job hunters, rather than collecting the money saying "you will have to pay this amount then only the process get completed".

        As an merchant you are eagerly working to get money from the job hunters, but really you don't know how the person the putting their handwork to make 1 rupee, who are all involved my transaction they are liable to pay attention of my concern and to get my money back. or provide the service what I paid for.

            I am writing to bring a serious matter of consumer exploitation to your attention, involving my recent experience with Shine.com/HT Media and their representatives while seeking job assistance services and opportunities for employment abroad.

            During my interactions with Shine.com representatives, I was promised job assistance abroad upon making an initial payment of 3047/-. Trusting this assurance, I made the payment using my Paytm with the belief that it would secure the promised services.

            Subsequently, I was contacted by a representative who informed me about the career assessment test which I said that it is not required but they said this is just a peanut investment for better future costing me 4129. Than they said I need to a background verification step to proceed with overseas job opportunities and Featuring profile in this they include 1 extra service which I did not required on communication skill at work place and charge me 8888. Assuming it was a necessary requirement, I made the payment as directed. After this again they share me perform for new service in which Canada and USA written and Professional summary was also there and they Charge me 15893 rupees. Despite being assured that there would be no further hidden charges, They Again share me Performa of 25026 and now I was in a state that I cannot move back or move as I have already invested 30k in this service they all play with my emotions and make fool of me and took away my hard earn money of total amount 114000.I felt compelled to make this payment to move forward with the promised job placement.

            I had too many calls with their Mangers and my say was only to provide me the money back which they have charged me for useless courses. Also, I was ready to swap the course and get the money back for left course but they are not at all supportive. The only way to get this done I think is using consumer forum.

            I must express my utmost dismay and disappointment in this matter. I have been misled and subjected to a series o[censored]unexpected financial demands despite being promised transparent and reliable services.

            To support my claim, I possess all the transaction IDs for the payments made to Shine.com/HT Media .Also I have a call recording of full 3-4 hours of how they fool their customers. These transactions include:

              This is to inform you all to never ever log into this job searching portal, You should instead try LinkedIn, Indeed, Naukri, etc. but not this portal. They sell your data to third-party scammers who will make you indulge in so-called jobs and after work they will ask for a penalty or they will make threatening calls to you with your personal details like your Aadhaar card, PAN card, Driver's license, etc. I tried contacting customer care for the last 10 days and today I got an email asking to deactivate the account so that your information will not be visible to recruiters... SUCH A WASTE OF TIME. What about losing personal details to a third-party company that is not even available on shine.com, or on Google, Who will take the responsibility that the scammers won't be using my driver's license for any financial fraud or legal? Never try this portal for job searching, instead sit at home instead of applying here.

                It is disgusting to learn that HTMedia subsidiary Shine.com has a sales office full of scam artists. I received a call asking for premium service at a reduced price of Rs 3147, which I paid. Later, I received a call from a man named Shiva Pratap who identified himself as my relationship manager and demanded that I pay additional amounts of Rs 5192 and now he is asking me to pay Rs 9556 for the verification of my employment history, which were not mentioned in the initial call.

                  7958/- rs and asked me this service is compulsory other wise you lose 3295 /- rs so I will transfer again 7958/- rs then again call me and warning
                  me you lose all amount 3295/-+7958/- and another service purchase you other wise you lose all money so i will again transfer my kotak credit card 12232/- so total amount 3295+7958+12232=23485/- then agin call me and asked me you lose all money other wise you purchase another sevice 17000 rs approx but i can't afoord the amount so I request to shine officers please return back my all money in my account ASAP.

                    I opted for Shine services and spent around 60000 and when I got a job on my own the shine team called me to refund the money for the services which I dint use.

                    When I tried to pay 10RS for the complaint they took around 47000 from my debit account.

                    I will need the complete refund of both refund money and also the money taken at the time of refunding

                      This was my worst experience with shine on 30 Aug 2023 they told me about membership charge Rs.2005/- and after payment they are again demanding charge of Rs. 2358/- for documents verification. And then I deny for that payment and send a mail for cancelation of this service.
                      But they are forcing me for avail that service but I am not ready for that.
                      Kindly help me for cancelation and refund my fund in my source account.

                        I have received a call from Shine.com regarding jobs on 29 Aug-23. Initially he was asked to pay 3327.71/ for Resume Booster- which I have paid.

                        After that Shine team assigned me Mr. Ojha my relationship manager, he called me and again and asked to pay 4673/ for Negotiation Skills - Certification by saying that this is the last payment and we will provide you best job offers.

                        when i paid this amount he send me another Performa invoice of rupees 6478/- Communication Skills at work place and said sir this is the last payment and you do not have to worry you will get best salary package by this certification.

                        He said do not worry sir you are from my home town so i will provide the best job offers. So please trust me and pay this amt. as this is last payment.

                        When i paid 6478/- than he send me again one more Performa invoice of Rs 9989/- for Job and interview guidance training and said sir this is the final payment as we will guide you that how you can crack the interview.

                        When i denied for this payment he again said sir please trust us as we are the Hindustan Times we are genuine we will provide you the best in market. Do not worry as you are investing money.

                        when i paid 9989/- he send me again one more Performa invoice of rs 14, 866/- and again said that sir this is the final after this you do not have to pay more.

                        when i denied that you are doing fraud to me as after every payment you are sending me Performa invoice and saying that this is the last payment slowly slowly you charged me 24, 367.71/- Rs and saying that you will provide me the best. Than he said that sir you can talk to my manager.

                        Than he transferred the call to his manager and he was also tried to convince me that sir do not worry this your last payment and then we will provide the the best job offers to you.

                        when i said that no i do not want your services as please cancel my all the orders and provide refund of all my money. he said sir do not worry you are connected with best service provider.

                        I have also sent mails at [protected]@shine.com for refund my money.

                        HT Media is very big and reputed company and no one expect from them this kind of fraud from their customers.

                        Please help to get my order cancel and refund my money back.

In time and saying this is the last payment after the payment and that last is infinite never come.                         Which kind.of policy this is. If any customer do not wants to purchase and want his money refund than why you will not refund his money. As you associate cheated on him. You sold me anything with the wrong commitment and from day one I am asking for refund even I did not use your any services for once. Then why I will not get my refund.

                          I was reached out by Shine.com for processing my resume outside India. They started first asking me to pay 3047which I paid, then they put to another person as dedicated recruiter and he started saying please pay 5192 and then education verification and I refused to pay .I asked them to refund my 3047 he said it’s not possible and try to get the refund however you want . Please help to get the refund of my hard earned money.

                            I received a call requesting payment for a premium service on Shine.com, amounting to Rs 3047.00/-, which I promptly paid. Subsequently, I received another call from an individual claiming to be my relationship manager, who requested an additional payment of Rs 5043.00/-. I complied with this request as well. However, when he asked for an additional payment of Rs 10619.00/-, I became suspicious and realized that they were attempting to defraud me. I refused to make any further payments and demanded a refund. Unfortunately, my request for a refund was denied. I urge authorities to take serious action against Shine.com to prevent other vulnerable individuals from falling victim to such fraudulent schemes.

                            Now shine.com started playing a new game, saying that they are calling from consumer court and his name is advocate Naveen, he will take up my case and asking me to pay the service fee of 1750(including advocate fee) and when i pay the service fee again they called me and asking me to pay 2150 for security deposit for the refund amount which i have paid to shine.com, what a brilliant game playing by shine.com, i want to file a case against on the account information and the guy who called me, please support me

                              I have received a call from Shine.com regarding jobs on 29 Aug-23. Initially I was asked to pay 3292/ for Application highlighter- which I have paid. After that Shine team assigned me Nitin (CRM) he called me and again asked to pay 4248/ for Resume booster and Then one by one he (Mob- [protected]) asked me to pay 7434/ (Featured Profile)-, 9558/(Professional Summary)-, ) (Next all payment on 31 Aug-23 which is)- 7762.11(Employment Verification), 7815.11/( Education Verification & LinkedIn Profile Summary)-, 15930/( Senior Level Resume Writing Services)-, 22565.16(Cover Letter) & Partial payment 9106/( Master In Leadership and Strategy Management Training & Certification)- which I have paid. These all payments price not asked me in the one time of initial call. I refused to pay another payment this time. I want my money back into my account as I don't want to take any services from shine.com. Transaction ID is given below for your necessary action please.

                              Mr. Nitin(CRM) said to me your net is slow all mail has been sent at one time but I have received mail when one payment has been made. After that again mail was received for another payment.

                              All payment link is not coming one time. New Payment link is coming after every payment. This thing I said to Mr. Nitin(CRM) that when i am doing payment after that again next link is coming on mail for payment but Mr. Nitin Said Your net is slow It never happens that you will pay, you will keep getting new payment link.

                              I have also mailed to [protected]@shine.com, [protected]@shine.com, [protected]@shine.com, [protected]@shine.com on 1 sep'23 at 8:21 AM that I want to refund my payment and i don't want to any services from shine.com.

                              Please help me for refund my payment.

                                It is shameful to note that Shine.com which is a subsidiary of HTMedia is running a sales office filled with scammers. I received a call asking for premium service at a discounted price of Rs 3147 which was paid by me following which I got a call from a person name Shiva Pratap claiming to be my relationship manager and he asked me to pay additional amount of Rs 5192 and Rs 9556 for education and job verification respectively which was not explained in my initial call. Later I was told to pay another Rs 17077.01 for expert counselling and he specified that it will be the last payment however after the payment, I was asked to pay 3 additional payments of Rs 103079 for some courses which I was not interested in. At this point, I wanted to cancel the service however I was told that there would be no refund of any amount and if I dont pay the remaining amount of Rs 103079 I can't avail the services and was convinced unethically to make the entire payment. I am writing here only to claim the refund of the entire amount of Rs 138101 paid by me to Shine.com as its my right since I have not used the services

                                  My name is Yogesh I had requested for amount refund due to shine com had never informed me about the various value added services during the initial call when representative called me just do the payment of Rs.3292. Following this I was fraudulently compelled to pay another Rs.5192/-, Rs.9556/- and Rs.14807/- and Rs.24779/- through my Credit Card. I never wanted to sign up for any of this services. Other than the initial Rs.3292/- all the other changes have been fraudulent and were take out of deception from the customer care representative. It wasn't informed to me that these charges were no refundable and instead they kept on putting mental pressure and harassed me they there will be no use of previous service and until I pay them for the next one. I need no assistance from Shine.com whatsoever. Kindly refund my hard earned money and we shall never cross path.

                                    My name is Rajesh Dasari I had requested for amount refund due to shine com had never informed me about registration process during the initial call when representative called me just do the payment of RS.3186/- you will get all services and you will get better job opportunities

                                    Later I got the called from relationship manager Mr Rohit what had started paraphrasing one by one process of payment to be done if I need to get full benefit so i paid till 18k amount at the middle of conversation relationship manager continued sending me to pay more amount which was ending till no where 30k to 40k which is actually not been informed prior before registration this is purely called scam fraud done by shine.com and when requested for refund they said cannot refund the amount until I clear all payments this is really not a right approach to take money from customer

                                      Intially they have contacted and asked to provide services to boost resume and hilghlight it to recruiters but after the payment they are asking to make more payments that were i realized it is scam and not genuine and i have raised a email request and called to consumer services for refund and they are not responding
