It is disgusting to learn that HTMedia subsidiary Shine.com has a sales office full of scam artists. I received a call asking for premium service at a reduced price of Rs 3147, which I paid. Later, I received a call from a man named Shiva Pratap who identified himself as my relationship manager and demanded that I pay additional amounts of Rs 5192 and now he is asking me to pay Rs 9556 for the verification of my employment history, which were not mentioned in the initial call.
Shine.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I need all my invested money back ASAP.

    please provide me my all money transfer back in my account because of wrong commitment for shine representative me he asked me

    ([protected] mobile no for shine representative) only 3295/- for paid service but today call me abhimanyu and umesh ([protected])demand of another money
    7958/- rs and asked me this service is compulsory other wise you lose 3295 /- rs so I will transfer again 7958/- rs then again call me and warning
    me you lose all amount 3295/-+7958/- and another service purchase you other wise you lose all money so i will again transfer my kotak credit card 12232/- so total amount 3295+7958+12232=23485/- then agin call me and asked me you lose all money other wise you purchase another sevice 17000 rs approx but i can't afoord the amount so I request to shine officers please return back my all money in my account ASAP.

      I opted for Shine services and spent around 60000 and when I got a job on my own the shine team called me to refund the money for the services which I dint use.

      When I tried to pay 10RS for the complaint they took around 47000 from my debit account.

      I will need the complete refund of both refund money and also the money taken at the time of refunding

        Dear Sir/Madam

        This was my worst experience with shine on 30 Aug 2023 they told me about membership charge Rs.2005/- and after payment they are again demanding charge of Rs. 2358/- for documents verification. And then I deny for that payment and send a mail for cancelation of this service.
        But they are forcing me for avail that service but I am not ready for that.
        Kindly help me for cancelation and refund my fund in my source account.

          I have received a call from Shine.com regarding jobs on 29 Aug-23. Initially he was asked to pay 3327.71/ for Resume Booster- which I have paid.

          After that Shine team assigned me Mr. Ojha my relationship manager, he called me and again and asked to pay 4673/ for Negotiation Skills - Certification by saying that this is the last payment and we will provide you best job offers.

          when i paid this amount he send me another Performa invoice of rupees 6478/- Communication Skills at work place and said sir this is the last payment and you do not have to worry you will get best salary package by this certification.

          He said do not worry sir you are from my home town so i will provide the best job offers. So please trust me and pay this amt. as this is last payment.

          When i paid 6478/- than he send me again one more Performa invoice of Rs 9989/- for Job and interview guidance training and said sir this is the final payment as we will guide you that how you can crack the interview.

          When i denied for this payment he again said sir please trust us as we are the Hindustan Times we are genuine we will provide you the best in market. Do not worry as you are investing money.

          when i paid 9989/- he send me again one more Performa invoice of rs 14, 866/- and again said that sir this is the final after this you do not have to pay more.

          when i denied that you are doing fraud to me as after every payment you are sending me Performa invoice and saying that this is the last payment slowly slowly you charged me 24, 367.71/- Rs and saying that you will provide me the best. Than he said that sir you can talk to my manager.

          Than he transferred the call to his manager and he was also tried to convince me that sir do not worry this your last payment and then we will provide the the best job offers to you.

          when i said that no i do not want your services as please cancel my all the orders and provide refund of all my money. he said sir do not worry you are connected with best service provider.

          I have also sent mails at [protected]@shine.com for refund my money.

          HT Media is very big and reputed company and no one expect from them this kind of fraud from their customers.

          Please help to get my order cancel and refund my money back.

          Your service provider is cheeting your all the customer as they are not disclosing all the amt. In time and saying this is the last payment after the payment and that last is infinite never come. So i can not trust you any more so please proceed for cancel my all the orders and refund my all the money.

          Which kind.of policy this is. If any customer do not wants to purchase and want his money refund than why you will not refund his money. As you associate cheated on him. You sold me anything with the wrong commitment and from day one I am asking for refund even I did not use your any services for once. Then why I will not get my refund.

          I want my complete money back as I am not interested to avail any kind of your services.

            I was reached out by Shine.com for processing my resume outside India. They started first asking me to pay 3047which I paid, then they put to another person as dedicated recruiter and he started saying please pay 5192 and then education verification and I refused to pay .I asked them to refund my 3047 he said it’s not possible and try to get the refund however you want . Please help to get the refund of my hard earned money.

              I received a call requesting payment for a premium service on Shine.com, amounting to Rs 3047.00/-, which I promptly paid. Subsequently, I received another call from an individual claiming to be my relationship manager, who requested an additional payment of Rs 5043.00/-. I complied with this request as well. However, when he asked for an additional payment of Rs 10619.00/-, I became suspicious and realized that they were attempting to defraud me. I refused to make any further payments and demanded a refund. Unfortunately, my request for a refund was denied. I urge authorities to take serious action against Shine.com to prevent other vulnerable individuals from falling victim to such fraudulent schemes.

              Now shine.com started playing a new game, saying that they are calling from consumer court and his name is advocate Naveen, he will take up my case and asking me to pay the service fee of 1750(including advocate fee) and when i pay the service fee again they called me and asking me to pay 2150 for security deposit for the refund amount which i have paid to shine.com, what a brilliant game playing by shine.com, i want to file a case against on the account information and the guy who called me, please support me

                I have received a call from Shine.com regarding jobs on 29 Aug-23. Initially I was asked to pay 3292/ for Application highlighter- which I have paid. After that Shine team assigned me Nitin (CRM) he called me and again asked to pay 4248/ for Resume booster and Then one by one he (Mob- [protected]) asked me to pay 7434/ (Featured Profile)-, 9558/(Professional Summary)-, ) (Next all payment on 31 Aug-23 which is)- 7762.11(Employment Verification), 7815.11/( Education Verification & LinkedIn Profile Summary)-, 15930/( Senior Level Resume Writing Services)-, 22565.16(Cover Letter) & Partial payment 9106/( Master In Leadership and Strategy Management Training & Certification)- which I have paid. These all payments price not asked me in the one time of initial call. I refused to pay another payment this time. I want my money back into my account as I don't want to take any services from shine.com. Transaction ID is given below for your necessary action please.

                Mr. Nitin(CRM) said to me your net is slow all mail has been sent at one time but I have received mail when one payment has been made. After that again mail was received for another payment.

This thing I said to Mr. Nitin(CRM) that when i am doing payment after that again next link is coming on mail for payment but Mr. Nitin Said Your net is slow It never happens that you will pay, you will keep getting new payment link.

                I have also mailed to [protected]@shine.com, [protected]@shine.com, [protected]@shine.com, [protected]@shine.com on 1 sep'23 at 8:21 AM that I want to refund my payment and i don't want to any services from shine.com.

                Please help me for refund my payment.

                  It is shameful to note that Shine.com which is a subsidiary of HTMedia is running a sales office filled with scammers. I received a call asking for premium service at a discounted price of Rs 3147 which was paid by me following which I got a call from a person name Shiva Pratap claiming to be my relationship manager and he asked me to pay additional amount of Rs 5192 and Rs 9556 for education and job verification respectively which was not explained in my initial call. Later I was told to pay another Rs 17077.01 for expert counselling and he specified that it will be the last payment however after the payment, I was asked to pay 3 additional payments of Rs 103079 for some courses which I was not interested in. At this point, I wanted to cancel the service however I was told that there would be no refund of any amount and if I dont pay the remaining amount of Rs 103079 I can't avail the services and was convinced unethically to make the entire payment. I am writing here only to claim the refund of the entire amount of Rs 138101 paid by me to Shine.com as its my right since I have not used the services

                    Dear Team,

                    My name is Yogesh I had requested for amount refund due to shine com had never informed me about the various value added services during the initial call when representative called me just do the payment of Rs.3292. Following this I was fraudulently compelled to pay another Rs.5192/-, Rs.9556/- and Rs.14807/- and Rs.24779/- through my Credit Card. I never wanted to sign up for any of this services. Other than the initial Rs.3292/- all the other changes have been fraudulent and were take out of deception from the customer care representative. It wasn't informed to me that these charges were no refundable and instead they kept on putting mental pressure and harassed me they there will be no use of previous service and until I pay them for the next one. I need no assistance from Shine.com whatsoever. Kindly refund my hard earned money and we shall never cross path.

                      My name is Rajesh Dasari I had requested for amount refund due to shine com had never informed me about registration process during the initial call when representative called me just do the payment of RS.3186/- you will get all services and you will get better job opportunities

                      Later I got the called from relationship manager Mr Rohit what had started paraphrasing one by one process of payment to be done if I need to get full benefit so i paid till 18k amount at the middle of conversation relationship manager continued sending me to pay more amount which was ending till no where 30k to 40k which is actually not been informed prior before registration this is purely called scam fraud done by shine.com and when requested for refund they said cannot refund the amount until I clear all payments this is really not a right approach to take money from customer

                        Intially they have contacted and asked to provide services to boost resume and hilghlight it to recruiters but after the payment they are asking to make more payments that were i realized it is scam and not genuine and i have raised a email request and called to consumer services for refund and they are not responding

                          I have paid 3290rs 08 August 2023 for application boost and resume boost they told me that after payment they will provide options for job on their portal but everything was fraud still am waiting but there is nothing happened there are no any single option job to apply for me now I want my money back but they are talking like money is not refundable their customer care and senior executive told me so many lies before payment please help me out

                            Its been a Very Bad Decision Trusting Shine.com for taking Recruitment Database Services from you. In the Last 2 Months, This is the 3rd Time that my Database Services have been Restricted and Stopped for No Fault of ours. I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the recruitment database services provided by Shine.com. Regrettably, the experience has not been in line with our expectations, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention.

                              Cheated through there hidden charges and before every payment, they said it is last payment you need to pay. They are cheating people in the name of HT media.

                              On 28 and 31 July, 2023 I received a call from shine.com that they will help in finding a job for me and provide premium services. To create an account, I would have to pay Rs.3327. I made the payment and was connected to another person(Aman).

                              Aman, Umesh and Virendra asked me to make a few more payments cumulatively worth more than Rs.100000 on incremental stages without revealing the full details of all the payments.

                              First I was asked to make a payment of Rs. 8151 for educational verification.

                              Then I was asked to make a payment of Rs. 14724 for company verification.

                              But then sent another request of Rs. 33746 and said that this is the final payment that you have to make and then the profile would be live. I was reluctant to pay but then I said okay will do it.

                              But here comes the shocker, finally the executive asked me to make the payment of Rs. 42354 to make the profile live.

                              And this is when I had it. I just didn't want the service at all. It doens't make sense.

                              I just said please don't give me the services, to which he said that we don't refund the money. But the profile won't be live until Rs. 42k aprox. is paid.

                              So, I was left in a limbo and frustation, I can't get the refund, I can't have the profile live. I just want the refund of all the amount I have paid. These are hidden charges and do nothing but dupe the customer.

                              I was duped into making payments forced to as they were continuously telling me, they won't provide me opportunities and interviews without paying for these services and they never told about any of these services or any of their process in the starting when I paid 3000 plus gst. Cheated through their hidden charges and before every payment, they said it is last payment you need to pay. They are cheating people in the name of HT media.

                              Today, I got a call from Accounting manager Shine.com Noida, he refused to tell me his name and asked to pay Rs. 10800 then only they will refund my money. He said he has got call regarding my complaint from his nearby police station who friends with him. So, if don't pay this 10k then i won't get any refund.

                              He refused to sent any email invoice regarding this from shine.com to pay Rs. 10800 for the taxes.

Only calls again and again same stupid thing and also how many times I have to tell I don't want your dumb services to make my resume bold and verify my documents and what the hell is profile verification ??? interview hiring tests why would I opt for that crap, when companies take their own interviews/tests.

                              Stop activating your fraud dumb crap of services. And refund or you guys are forcing me to take serious legal actions against all involved in looting me of Rs. 59949.

                              I have all calls recorded, where those guys told me this last payment sir, and then within a minute send another invoice of double the amount I just paid.

                              STOP looting innocent people in the name of providing jobs interviews.

                                I have applied for a job over Job Portal Shine. After few minutes I received a call from a fraudster stating that she is from Shine and wanted me to click on a link to activate my profile. When I refused, she pinged me with abuses.
                                She called herself Sonia and from Shine, her number is [protected]. She has deleted all the abuses for which I could not take the screenshot. Her Profile says Shine and its a Business Account.
                                Shine has revealed my number to such fraudsters and created such a mess, it was my awareness which has saved me else I would have lost money by that fraud. Also if such things are not stopped these people will try fooling so many youngsters who are in need of a job.

                                  Hello Shine Team

                                  I was called by the Shine Team today through Multiple Numbers
                                  1.[protected]Tushar)
                                  He has suggested that I buy a Resume Booster Service for which 3657 Inr. I have accepted this service & bought this under the communication that this will help pushing to resume to known companies in Bangalore. Post buying this there was a communication that there will be a dedicated person assigned to handle my account.

                                  2.[protected]Shiva)
                                  He asked me to run through my profile (Resume) and post which he asked me to upgrade to couple of packages with an information that this wouldnt cost thousands of Inr. However the first upgrade came at a price of 5192 Inr. (Education Verfication) which was paid. When asked why this value, Mr Shiva said that he is not aware of pricing and this done by Finance team of Shine.
                                  Once again there is another upgrade package (Job Profile Verification Plus Package) coming at 9556 Inr which came as a Payment Link.
                                  Considering the financial situation I have requested for time for the payment. We need to understand that without prior intimation this money is being asked to be payed.
                                  When asked for time, Mr Shiva has denied and said that the services will not be given.

                                  Post this I have tried communicating this with Mr Tushar, unfortunately he is not picking calls.

                                  I highly doubt the services offered by Shine.Com.
                                  If this was the way in which things were moving then it should have been communicated clearly during the first call.

                                  I request a refund of my money immediately as this is really fishy. Even Naukri.Com is charging a package of 8000 Inr but they are very much transparent. The reason for opting to Shine was it offered a low cost of services.

                                  I believe forcing a person to buy services worth 20000 Inr Immediately without any prior intimation is highly non justifiable and when Mr Shiva was asked to share contact of his manager, his response was everyone in Shine.Com talks the same language.

                                  Couple of questions to Shine.Com:
                                  1. Why terms and conditions are not communicated to Buyer/Candidate at time of taking any service?
                                  2. Why details of package is not communicated very clearly to Candidate?

                                  I sincerely request my money of 3657 Inr+ 5192 Inr be duly returned back as I am not confident of service and see this service as a Money making option.

                                  I have email transactions for the same. Kindly ensure 8849 Inr is refunded to my account immediately.

                                      I had clear discussion with shine executive Rishab on call before making payments.
                                      My requirement was need of new
                                      resume for domain change, guidance for domain change & job alerts. He said me to pay only Rs 3292/- but I was not having enough money so he said do partial amount so I did on May 3-2023 Rs 1000/- the second part on May 5-2023 Rs 2292/-. After completing this payment he connected me to Rohit and he said I am your relationship manager I will give you new resume for domain change, guidance for domain change and weekly 2 interview leads but for that you have to pay more amount Rs 5000+tax I agreed without any arguments but I was again not having the said amount so I again did payments in part on June 5-2023 Rs 1500/-, and on June 10-2023, Rs 4100/-. I completed the payment of Rs 8892/- I had call to Rishab now Rishab again said you have to do more extra payments at that time I just started feeling unconscious because according to 1st discussion I just need to pay only Rs 3292/- and after saving money hardly I completed the first demand and Shine executives gave me second amount again I hardly paid 5000+tax to save my first amount Rs 3292/- now third amount they are demanding I felt I had done biggest mistake I just took support of wall balancing me from physically falling on floor then I said Rishab that I am going to complaint this type of Service Shine is providing to customer then he said don't complaint we will provide you requirements but now writers are busy you will get call till july 15 2023 I had patiently taken follow up from July 13 2023, july 16 2023 from their I am non stop taking follow up but no use other executives of shine picks up the phone and says they have done Mails to Shine team soon you will get the call after waiting on call when the call gets connected their is new person says they have done Mails you will get the call after lots of attempts on 24 july I had mailed on [protected]@shine.com from the 24th July I am doing follow up on mails till today I have not my service for which I paid Rs 8892/-. & now I am also attaching mails to this complaint site in that you will also find payment details. My requirement is new resume to change domain guidance for domain change & job alerts & I paid hard earned money for the service.
