I had given my mobile for repair on[protected] to sony authorised service center, Ami Arcade, Near bus station, Godhra(Panchmahals-Gujarat-389001), till date neither I have received mobile to me. But on frequvent communication from my side against a small problem of charging socket the service provider has created many problems in phone and told me that he had to change motherboard and display plus some circuits too. This is not tolerable in any case. Kindly look into the matter urgently and provide brand new phone to me as it has been too long i am without phone. otherwise i will be forced to take legal matter in course. Thanks...     Hello, I wanted to complain about the quality of products Sony sells in India and also about the quality of after-sales service in India. I bought a Sony PS3-12GB on 30th June 2013 for my kid. I bought it for Rs17, 000. Almost 2 months back, the PS3 stopped reading disc. I took it to the Sony Service station (4-5 weeks back). After a few weeks I was told that it cannot be repaired. This shocked me since it was just a couple of months over an year that PS3 stopped working. I am shocked to realize that Sony sells cheap and low quality hardware in India. I should have spent a few more bucks and bought a XBox. Probably would never ever in my life would buy Sony gaming products again(atleast in India). The other worse part is the low quality after-sales service in India. A couple of weeks back I got a call from Sony Service station. I was told that my PS3 unit cannot be repaired. I was told that since it is just an year when it was bought, The Sony company has decided to give me a replacement for the faulty PS3. However I was also told that Sony company has stopped manufacturing 12GB model and only manufactures 500 GB model. On a 500GB model I would be given a 30% discount, so I will have to pay Rs 5697/- and I will get a PS3-500 GB as replacement for my 12GB PS3. When I went to the Sony service station yesterday, I was told that all that story I was told earlier was wrong. Since my PS3 unit is out of warranty(even if it is 2 months over), the company treats this as out-of-warranty product. The way I see it, there is no credibility, honesty in what is communicated by a after-sales service guy and what actually happens when you show up at the service station. When I was communicated that I would get PS3-500GB, I was told that Sony realizes that this faulty unit is an exception and hence was replacing it free of cost(only charging for 500GB extra storage and that too at a discounted rate). Yesterday I went there with a demand draft for the asked amount, I was told all that story was wrong. I see a lot of mis-communication done by Sony after-sales service guys. I asked if the part could be repaired. I was told that defect like this cannot be repaired, so the company has decided to offer me a replacement for the faulty PS3. I will have to pay Rs 5697/- to get replacement PS3-12GB. The after sales people accepted that these types of faults are commonly seen with PS3 and Sony handles it by accepting part-payment for replacements. Yesterday's communication and acceptance by the after sales service proved that Sony sells low quality Gaming systems in India and Sony handles it asking people to make part-payment for the replacement. My conclusions are to never/ever by a Sony gaming system in India. I know that no action would be taken over this communication but I realize that it is important to highlight rather than to accept.       I have a Sony Xperia ZL which I bought last december and I had to change my number and now the sim card is not detecting. I took it service center in malleswaram 1st cross bangalore and they are saying it is not repairable. Or i should pay 13, 500 for a refurbished handset which absolutely makes no sense. I have paid 30k when i bought the phone and makes no sense in paying extra. I need it in working condition what so ever. The service center guys do not know what the problem is and they keep dodging around saying "It may be mother board issue", "It may be that the OS is upgraded hence it is not working", "It may be due to xyz reason". Get some sensible person and technically knowledgeable person so that we can believe sony henceforth. It is coz of quality and reliability we used to buy sony products. Now it is a big "NO NO" for SONY products. Shame on Sony.

I booked a complaint at Sony Service center in madurai and also to our purchase dealer Benit & co. But still now i didnt receive any service from there.           i submited my sony xperia-c for speaker repairing & Dade issue when i went to collect it they miss my battary back cover and they claimed that. we are not handling a back cover it is up you. you were take it with you to home when you submit your phone. i suffering from 1 and 1/2 monthes but every they tell me that i told to head office they will send us. but still i did not get any responce . . .

            1. I lodged complaint for repair of my LED TV (purchased in October 2011) on 13 September (complaint no:[protected]. 2. Service engineer visited and said that motherboard will be changed. He said that he will bring motherboard and change it at my place. He also gave me option for repair but for that option I will have to send my TV to service center. Since my TV has been repaired once last year so I gave my concurrence for change of motherboard and told him that I will accept only genuine Sony item. 3. After that Service Centre maintained complete silence. I called up Customer care 5 times (September: 20, 23 (twice), 01 oct, 07 October). Call Center told me on 01 Oct that Service Center is saying that I am not taking their call - which is blatant LIE. 4. I also lodged online complaint last week but no response. 5. 25 days down the line, Sony India Delhi Service Centre has done nothing. For a poor quality but expensive product, I had spent Rs 3, 500/- on repairs one year back and now I have to spent Rs 10, 000/- for new mother board (within 3 years of purchase).                 From past 2 months i have been searching for battery of xperia L and i am unable to get it because the phone is not been manufactured any more. My phone is just one year old. Do u expect me to throw 18k phone every year just because u guys decided to stop manufacturing it. I have called service center lots of time each one replies that "we understand your problem" and then gives me 5 to 6 addresses per call. Till now i have spent more money on searching battery than the actual cost of battery. And still your service executives keep saying we understand ur problem. Why doesnt any one understand that i dont want their understanding ...i want a solution. I have also been to service centre and they tell me to buy it online. I have checked all the sites most of them dont sell that battery and other who sell do not provide warranty. Dont you think 2 months is really a long time to search a battery for a phone which is still selling?

                    Service Center Fraud

                    Recently bought a Sony Xperia M mobile from an authorised seller. The USB port was faulty and required replacement. It has been 2 days short of a month and nothing has been done. I have requested them for a replacement of handset and also made an official complaint to Sony India and they have not gotten back to me. The service center also refuses to take calls....

                    Dear Sir/Madam My self J.VINOD from hubli I had Purchased Sony L mobile on 28 Nov 2013 i am facing a problem from this mobile till today!!!... The steps and history of this case as follows Firstly(1) I faced a problem of screen flickering while charging on next month of purchase i.e. on December and i submitted my to Sony Authorised Service Center UPADHYAYA ELECTRONIC DEVICE HUBLI ON 7 JAN 2014 JOB NO W[protected]. service center updated mobile software and gave me back but unfortunately the problem is not resolved, i re-submitted the mobile to the same with job no W[protected] after few days of process finally service center replaced the mobile PCB and gave me my mobile with new IMEI no [protected] but problem was yet not resolved. Due to some inconvenience i did not visited service center for few months (2) On 09 sept 2014 i again visited the service center but for my surprise the service center is not ready to accept my mobile for service then i called to customer care center at[protected] and had a talk with customer care executive, on recommendation of him the service center accepted my mobile with job no W[protected] and after long testing process they called me to take my mobile on 17 sept 2014, i took my mobile for check up but the so called service center closed my job, (a) i tested my mobile but the problem remained same, service center said that this is manufacturing problem and it cannot be resolved and i said him to take my mobile back for repair or provide me a new sony model mobile but as the job was already closed by the service center they gave me again new job no W[protected] dated 17 sept 2014. (b) After frequent follow-up this case is forwarded to 2nd level i called me to talk with ASI Mr PRAVEEN firstly he talked nicely! and said i wll forward this case to head office i agreed. (c) now i am in contact with ASI once he said you will get a final result on Monday so i went to service center on Monday but he was not there i called him but he not ready to receive my call at all instead got a system generated message I am in meeting call you later after waiting more than two hours I got a message saying that you leave the service center i will call you later dont worry (d) After 2 days i called him for update then he is Harsh said me that many people involved in this case so you should wait in reply i said i waited already more than TEN days to get resolved with this problem he said i cant tell you exact date when you will get your problem resolved So my next and final step will be filing a case in Consumer Forum for replacement of my mobile with new model as well as compensation for mental Harassment Regards J VINOD [protected] [protected]@gmail.com

                      With great disappointment, I am writing the issue I have been facing with your Sony Vaio Laptop which was purchased from your vendor Krish Infotech situated at PL Sharma Road, Meerut. I purchased this Laptop on 25th December 2013 for my father. On 28th December 2013, my dad started facing issues with this laptop as many of the keys on the keyboard were not working and the machine was hanging a lot so he visited the Vendor again to get the problem resolved. The Vendor informed him that just a refresh will solve all the problems. Since then this machine is not working fine. My father is not a computer expert and his usage is very minimal as he use this laptop to use Skype so that he can get in touch with us or else a bit of Excel for his work. Since the starting this machine is defective but the vendor has been avoiding it for what reasons I do not understand. Within 7 Days of the purchase, this had the below mentioned issues: 1. Many keys in the keypad not working at all 2. System hangs a lot 3. Machine restarts on its own 4. Touch pad do not work at times My father went to the vendor many times since the purchase with all these problems but the vendor never directed him to the service center instead he kept telling him some very irrelevant reasons regarding the problems. Taking the advantage of my father's innocence, the vendor misdirected my father and always provided him with fake reasons. Now that I was in Meerut, I also witnessed the problems with the machine and 5 days back the system automatically refresher and restarted which deleted all the softwares which were installed on the system including MS Office. Now that he has crossed all the tolerance limits, I searched for the Sony Service centers in Meerut and took the machine directly to your service center wherein your expert checked something and found that this was a defective machine. He told me that we can fix all the hardware related problems but I will have to purchase all the softwares again. I am really very upset with this. First I had to pay to buy this defective machine then from last 9 months my father is struggling alot with this machine and now again I am the one who is getting penalised for something where I have no fault. I have been using sony from years now. I never faced any concerns with any of the products. I have a Sony Vaio Laptop, I am using it from last 6 years and I never faced any concerns with it. I have a sony TV and the play station too all which have proved out to be a great value deal. I have been a extremely satisfied customer from years, so I brought another Laptop for my father as I stay away from them and this could be the source of connect for us but this deal has approved out to be the worst possible thing only because the Vendor has been fooling my father from very long now. The only thing that I can make out of all this is that the vendor was already aware about the issues that my father was telling him in regards to the machine. The vendor never even once directed my father to the service center. I do not see any good reason behind such any intention of the vendor. I have a very humble request for you, the father is an old retired person who requires the laptop for very basic usage and to connect with me. It will be very tough for him to take the machine to service centers every now and then. I have a complete trust in your brand and if you value all that and the efforts being put by my father since the purchase of the machine, please replace the complete defective machine which was sold out to my father by the Vendor. This vendor has caused a lot of trouble already and I request you please provide me the solution to this earliest possible. I have attached the invoice and the job sheet for your Kind reference and I am looking forward to a resolution from you. Its been more than a week a wrote to sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com (complaint number[protected] but there is no action taken on it so far. I have called their customer care center many times but they every time tell me that a team is working on it and will shortly provide me a resolution.                         sir I have complained to the toll free number of sony through my complaint no. 21125194 dt. 26.9.14 and 21145469 dt. 27.9.14 regarding video loss of my led tv. they have promised to rectify within two days and today date is 06.10.2014 as nobody has come to my place regarding this and since every day i am calling the toll free no. giving refernce of the above complaints they just tell today they will come and rectify the same. It is almost ten days since my comlain.

                          Hi I don’t know where to begin from I visited Sony Store Phoenix mills Lower parel Mumbai on 1st October 2014 around 7 Pm to enquire about Sony Service Centres in Mumbai.I asked the staff present there specially the lady sitting on the counter along with the Store manager Mr Yadav. The query seemed very unimportant for them and they were uninterested to tell about the service Centre. Probably they took quite a time to give me the details in a chit equal to size of a thumbnail. It seemed as if a customer has given a biggest burden to their lives. There was a lady sitting on the counter, i asked her to give the number, she gave me the number of sony centre in a slip equal to the size of a thumb nail and i am not exaggerating, i asked her please note that these were my exact words "Could you not manage to get a smaller paper than this”, very rudely and arrogantly she said “no, you will get only in this take if you want to” . I utterly disgusted and surprised by her reaction kept paper there on her table and i asked her if that was the way to behave with the customer. Very arrogantly she said "yes" and above that to give her full support was the store manager “Mr Yadav”, i remember his sir name as Mr Yadav" as he was shouting at the top of his voice and very confidently asked me not to visit the store again and leave. He was confident that if I lodge a complaint against him Sony will take no action against him and he was shouting at the top of his voice on a customer who was asking for the service Centre no. Hurt and Shocked by the behavior I left the store and believe me I am scared to go to that store again, probably I would not ask any of my near and dear ones to visit the Sony store again. May be I will not visit any of the sony store again, that why I ordered a product online today. Dear Sir /Mam.. this is a very down market behavior I have ever seen in my life by any gentleman in an esteemed organization like Sony which sells quality products. If you really believe that I am speaking an inch of truth, I request you to take action against the staff which was present in the store evening 7 Pm on 1st October or else my faith in Sony customer care will vanish forever.                             hi.. I m writing from Gandhidham Kutch Gujrat n my name is Khushboo Goyal regarding the worst experience i had with my sony experia C. I purchased a sony experia C in janurary 2014 but the very day phone was not charging then dealer changed the handset. after that also my problem does not fininshed. every time phone was switched off than all my shortcuts got deleted, then the shopkepeer reset my phone which was purchased three days back. After that one or the other problems persists in my set again and again n then shopkeeper again reset my phone In short my phone in these 9 months got reset 4 times. I want to ask the Sony people is that why we bought Sony product and now my phones internal memory is showing full inspite of being vacant i cannot operate the phone. ****the service centre guys say take backup and come but in my phone no back up is coming. if im connecting it through pc than phone memory as well as sd memory shows empty. in the service centre no body is listening. Now i ask Sony where to go and what to do I want to replace my piece.                               Hi, I have brought a new Sony xperia C.In the specification, we could see internal storage as 4 GB, but in real scenario, the phone memory together with internal storage is only 2 GB. I am not able to install any updates or any new apps even after changing the storage medium to SD Card. Kindly help me with this at the earliest. Thanks, Nayana

                                I had purchased a SONY LED TV KLV-32EX300 on 2r April 2013 from ARVEE ELECTRONICS Lajpat Nagar, Central market(New Delhi)for Rs.30, 000.00 with extended warranty of 2 years from Bajaj Finance.The TV has been using very rarely in spite of which on 22nd Sept 2014 the display got blanked immediately without any per-troubleness. I have called Bajaj Finance for verification & survey of the same but they did not turn-up & finally called one "CLUB ELECTRONICS" claiming to be authorized service centre for SONY.After verification they took the TV on 30th Sept claiming the display panel has to be replaced.The very 2nd day they sent one Estimation of Rs.15, 000.00 for the same.One of their technician informed me the panel is warranted for two years & the TV is one year which I am unable to understand.If that is the case why they have sent me the estimation of Rs.15000.00 half of the actual cost of the TV.This is something mischievousness by these people. The more pathetic situation is the spare parts are not available in India as there is no manufacturing unit in India & has to be imported from Singapore which takes unlimited time to reach here.It was a big blunder I made to purchase this useless TV set .This was also a big mistake from my end as several of my SONY products are lying in garbage before expiry of warranty period as the replacement charges are equivalent to other branded TV. I will never recommend or buy any SONY (the worst in the market)product henceforth. Any solution to it SONY people?

                                  I am very unhappy with service provide to customers by Sony. Especially being a Japanese brand. I had submitted my PS3 to the Sri Sai Electronics on 7th of September.(Kindly refer attached job sheet) This was regarding updating issue. It was the duty of the service centre to give me updates on my play station but it never reverted me.I always had to follow up with these people all the time. When I called the service engineer says its an hardware issue which he was not able to explain properly. Since the problem was stated because o[censored]pdate error (Since it was working completely fine before the update). Hence it is hard to believe that it is a hardware issue. Secondly the service centre guys does not have good communication skills to interact with customers and are rude to customers. I am really unhappy with Sony product & services and would never purchase any Sony product hence forth. I demanded for reply from Sony with a solution on my PS3 ASAP. I have jotted down some events to make you understand the problem root cause. 1. While I was playing on my play station once which is connected to my Wifi, It asked to update me to higher version.(This is mandatory or else it will not allow you to play) 2. I followed instruction to start update and it showed me a progress bar for updation. 3. At 19 % it popped me an error and my system was restarted. The same thing was happening all over again and again. 4. I was not able to reset it as it didn't allow me to do so. I have attached jobsheet, invoice and my communication mails in word document,

                                    I purchased Sony Xperia E1 Dual Mobile 4 months ago. Till the last four months it has given me lots of problems. I have went to sony service center many times and service centre said me that they have changed the mother board twice. But after changing the motherboard twice the handset is giving me number of problems like - Slow processing/functioning of the phone, gets hanged in between, not picking of sim card and many more problems. After that I again went to sony service centre but now they are not treating with me well. So i request you to replace my handset handset and take a strict action against the service centre for the misbehaviour with the customer.

                                      I was facing some dead pixels issues with the phone. I went to the kutchery road service center (Meerut ) to get it checked and i was told that there are some dead pixels in the handset and it needs to be replaced. Now it has been 7 days already and i have not got my phone back. Three days ago i was shown a refurbished phone which was to be given to me but as the same was not in working condition same had to be replaced again. I do not understand why am I being offered a refurbished phone. Either you guys should repair my own phone or if you cant repair my phone then give me a new one. Why would i use a disfunctional phone which was used by someone else. I did not spend 36000 INR just for using a second hand phone. I am getting tired of making follow ups if you guys cannot repair my handset then please provide me a new one, if you can not give me a new handset than give me my money back. I might as well buy an apple iphone atleast they are committed to their customers and provide them the best service possible. They are not like sony who would go on handing over refurbished phones to their customers. . If you cannot provide services to your loyal customers like me I am sorry to say but I would have to end my loyalties towards sony.
