SIR, this is Parimalaravi from DINDIGUL TAMILNADU last year we had bought a laptop with the model no.SVF1521SNB IN5, for my daughter who is studying in a college in KERALA, recently her laptop panel had developed a crack nd it is such a situation that it cannot be opened at all .. we hv contacted the dealer nd asked for a repair but he says he cannot find a panel for this model... can u please clarify on two things... as to whether i can find a replacement for this... as well as whether it can be charged under the warranty card as we r two months late from the warranty period ... thankyou hoping to get a positive response from u...

    My name is Siva from Indore. I have been using Sony walkman for 5 years now. The latest one which I had bought in July 2012 had problems in hearing from one earpiece. I submitted it for servicing on 31 July 2014. The service was so pathetic that they first told me that it was not repairable. Then they didnt respond even after repeated followups for over a month. Finally on 1st of Septemeber, they called me and said it would have to be replaced and I would need to shell out another INR 2000 for the same. Left with no options, i went and made the payment on 3rd September 2014. After that there has been no response from their end. I have followed up repeatedly and all they say is there is some delay and the replaced set will arrive soon. One day they called me and informed that the replaced part will be white in colour. I gave the go ahead. Today after I called up and yelled at them, they gave a call in the afternoon and told me that my product has arrived and is PINK in colour. So either I have to take it or wait for god knows how much more. It has been 2 months since I submitted it for servicing. Such a pathetic service was not expected from a company like sony. I have put up the complaint on Facebook, I have sent two complaints to the customer care link on the website with no response. Better service can be expected from local players and their products cost half as much. The walkman went bad in only 2 years and is not even repairable. The customer service is irresponsive. Once I am through with this product. I will never buy a sony walkman again. I have been recommending this p[roduct to a lot of my friends. At that time, Sony was the only one with this kind of product. Now other companies have come out as well. I will highly recommend my friends NEVER to buy from Sony again ...

      I purchased a Sony Xperia z2 inJune. Sony website clearly mentioned that it is offering some free subscriptions on applications like big flix. I did not find this on my handset. I called customer support several times. Some support guys denied these offers while some said to reinstall the software of the phone. I have mailed several times also but no support or resolution. I need to lodge a formal complaint.

        I purchased sony xperia z2 in June. The company website assured free application goodies like 3 month big flix subscription. I did not get those.I called sony support several times. Some service Centre guys denied having these offers and some said please re install software. I also sent them emails which have stopped replying to me. I need to lodge a consumer complaint

          Service call was logged on 16th of September 2014 against which a request ID 20986178 was generated, the engineer from Star electronics from Delhi visited on 18th of September 2014 and dignosed the problem as a mother board replacement with a date of 20th of september as resolution date, i have been following with Sony toll free no. and the service center but there has been no concrete reply by them, the only explanation is that the part needs to be shipped from south korea with no closure date. The TV was purchased on 8th of june 2014 and the TV has started giving problem within 3 months of purchase, would request a replacement to be initiated.

            I am Dr Viral Shah having sony E series laptop since last 2 years.it is running nicely.but since last 15 days i have one small problem.back side screw has been lost somehow and when i open my laptop it is very much diff to open.i have visited service center for that i told him to check but the bad thing is that he didn't touch my laptop and told me to comeback again for after backup in some secure place. i did that and second time i went there and there were no eng man for this again for third time i went there as my preference is for company only but this time also he even didn't touch my laptop and told me to comeback with bill so it will be repair free of cost i told him its not in warranty period and its ok for me for chareges.shame on sony company in this 21st century he told me to keep laptop for 2-4 days without checking my problem i am so much frustrated after such condition.I am dentist having my own clinic i kept it close for three times and My Patients have to suffer for this and I am using this laptop for taking x rays . I suggest sony company to take strict action of this kind of behaviour by service center becuase they even not afraid of complaints by customers. My Contact No: [protected]

            You guys don't deserve any rating..
            Had bought 49inch Sony bravia on 8th.requested for Demo and installation on 9th Nov 2017..they had promised to send a person from the nearest service centre within 6 working days..till now there's no response..not a single call.
            I've been repeatedly calling the customer care number..every time they tell the same thing as if they are reading from a book..
            Very disappointed with the response..its the worst response a customer can expect from the so called reputed company.never would have gone for Sony when there are so many better options in the market..

              This email is with reference to the faulty Sony Experia T2 device that is owned by self. The phone was giving issues and self rebooting from the mid of August. (The system settings showed a proof with the log of the system crashes). The phone was taken to the authorized service center wherein the phone was mended with some software update which did not resolve the issues faced by the phone. The phone was again taken to the service center on 3rd Sept'4 and submitted for repairs. Meanwhile I started following up with the customer service for the update on the phone as I was to travel and wanted to take my phone along for seamless internet. This was the time when my patience was tested and I was brought to a saturation level by the incompetent associates that took my calls. Just to highlight the ordeal, the succeeding are the points that irked me: 1. My call was put on speaker by one of the associates that took my call and he refused to put it off speaker stating technical snag. (Can I please understand the reason behind this? Did he just want to mock me in front of his colleagues? Or doesn't a huge brand like Sony provide proper technology to its employees?) 2. Even after repeated calls, there was no proper track record maintained of my case. Every single time I called I was forced to explain my case to every associate. Even on one call I had to explain the case to every single associate whom I was transferred to. (Aren't the employees equipped to add notes on escalated cases?) 3. Once an employee hung up on my face after a heated conversation. (Please tell me that customer care employees are supposed to deal with saturated customers in such a way?) In all these conversations I was conveyed that the motherboard of the phone was faulty and hence the company sent a new motherboard for repairing the phone. It was then found that the new motherboard was also faulty and hence a second mother board was requested for and it was taking time for the second one to reach the authorized center. I agree I was given a standby phone for the stipulated time but I regret to inform that the same was an obsolete phone that could not even successfully sync my emails. (A priority for me) After a long duration of 14 days I was called to collect my phone. When I reached the center I was made to sit for a long duration before the phone was handed over to me. When the phone was, to my due surprise, the phones camera wasn't working at all. I restarted the phone and realized that the phone was freezing and the camera refused to start. The authorized center gave me an excuse that since I wanted the phone, they had to expedite the process and didn't get the time to test the phone before handing over the same to me. (Really? 14 days was less a time?) Also, an added comment was that I had 2 options, One to leave the phone behind or take a broken phone and come back after the trip and then get my phone repaired. (Please tell me if that is correct on the part of Sony to give me a broken phone and tell me to take that?) I was forced to leave the phone behind as obviously I wasn't sure if that would even work. Also, I chose to leave the standby behind as it was good only to make and receive calls and did not serve my purpose of giving me internet connectivity. I had to finally buy a new phone before flying. Even when I was abroad, my mind was so irked on this case that my wife connected me on a conference with an assistant manager (Who was handling my escalated case). We had to make such an arrangement as we were informed that in no scenario, an international call be made to a customer. I was advised that as a "special case" I am being offered a new handset. But the condition will be that I will just get the handset without the box packaging and the accessories. (How do I even believe that the phone is a new one and not a refurbished one?). Also, the word "SPECIAL" doesn't suit the bill at all for me. I am a dis satisfied customer that has been literally begging for resolution. Giving a resolution to me is not anything "SPECIAL". Isn't that my right to have a fully functional phone in the warranty period at least? I had such high expectations from an international brand like Sony and the after sales service has left me more than disappointed. I, for the first time, regret buying a product. All I am repeatedly asking for is a credit note of my phone amount, so that I buy a new phone of my choice. ( I have been made to understand that the same isn't possible). I was so upset that I demanded a higher end model as I already regret having a Sony Experia T2. I was very conveniently told that I will have to pay the additional amount. I was also clearly told that in case I chose a lower end model, I will not be compensated the loss. (Please tell me how can it always be a win win for Sony and the customer be penalized just because he made a mistake by buying a wrong phone?) After all the debate, I repeatedly also requested to settle for a same phone if I am given a brand new box packed phone with new accessories. I am ready to give the packaging and the accessories that I have received with this phone. The sole reason for asking the same is that in case I accept just the phone without the packaging, the IMEI number on my case will not match my phone. At the end I wont receive any resale value for the phone as I have no proof that the phone does belong to the same box. Also, I will no where be proud to share the history of my interaction with Sony with the new seller as I wont find any buyer who will be ready to shell any penny for a phone like that. After zillion of possible tries, insults like phone being slammed on my face and no replies on emails, I was forced to write the email to request the higher most authorities (That's you, as far as we have been told), to find a resolution. Trust that I wont be harassed further and be given a credit note, or every consumer has a right to take it further (legally) I am in no spirit to take it up any more with the brand after this and do not wish to be compelled to knock consumer court's door for my well deserved right.

                Sir I hemant joshi want to inform you that i brought sony xperia m dual mobile in last months. and in that day i suffered signal problem, eco sound problem when i used earphone while calling and hanging problem.i also visit sony service cenert in 2 times they just keep my phone for 4 or 5 days only and i still facing same problem.in the end i have only last option to file a case in consumer court.                   I had bought 40" Sony Bravia TV set before three years from M/s. Ravi Corporation, Bharuch. On 14th sept 2014, the screen started going up-down and double picture shades started getting displayed on TV set. Against my complaint, your authorised service technician from M/s. Balaji Services, Vadodara (ph:[protected] visited my place, inspected my TV set, took photographs of problems and informed me that the TV set will have to be taken to Baroda Service Station. I asked for the estimate and to my utter shock, I got estimate of Rs. 26000/- of repairing it. The cost was beyond the logic and obviously I took recourse of one local technician who to my utter pleasure and surprise repaired it for Rs. 200/- . What the difference !!! How can we trust your aurhorised service station who aim at looting your valued client ? And how do you expect us to buy your products in future if your after sales services are beyond our capacity to bear ? I have learned a great lesson and have shared my this experience with my huge friend circle. This is because one has to be cautious while buying product of your company of great repute.                     This complaint is regarding the pathetic service faculties provide by the "certified" Sony service centers. I have been to this so called certified Sony service centre in 15C.S.K.Puri, Patna-1. I bought SBH20(BT music devise) on feb 2 2014, last month my devise not working. They had told me to wait 10 days for new devise. several time after 15 days i tried to Call service center no.[protected], but phone in not reachable/attend. The Sony Guy "Sonu" he is very unprofessional and today i.e 25 th sep.i visited again and till he said wait. If I didn’t get any proper response from you end than I have to go consumer court.                       Subject- Misleading Information provided by Sony Service Center Head Respected Sir/Madam, This is to bring to your kind notice that I had purchased the Sony Xperia ZL on 25th January 2014 for Rs.24, 560. I met with an accident and I found the screen of my phone got little bit damaged (just the center bottom part) however the phone was still in the working condition. Till now I was assuming I have purchased a smart phone from a good reputed company who would always stand by the customers and help the customer with the needs as and when it will be required. On September 13th, I went to the authorized customer care center of Sony India (F1 Info Solutions & Services Pvt Ltd). I am feeling very annoyed to inform you that it was the absolutely disgusted and poor service provided by any company till date or I have come across. The receptionist was indeed busy with some other customer, there was a long queue, so the head of the center (Amit- If I am not wrong) had asked few engineers to help the customers. I was extremely annoyed already. I went up to this engineer named (Abhishek) who checked my phone. I told him the other problem as well which I was facing with my phone that is related to the front camera quality. He checked my phone and stated that they will replace my handset with the new Z series handset “WITHOUT ANY COST”. I had requested everyone out there to help me with a stand by model till the time I receive a replacement phone. Again I am feeling sorry to bring it to your notice that nobody could help me in this regard, even after requesting them many times. I had explained my problem to them absolutely clearly as it is really inconvenient to stay without a smart phone now. I truly regret buying a Sony phone. This was the worst decision taken by me till date. All the representatives available at the service center informed me totally different things. Lady out there told me that I will get the replacement phone within 7-8 working days, Abhishek informed me the timeframe of 5-7 days and when I asked the head of the center of the actual time frame as I was already very confused due to the different information provided by all, he told me that normally it takes 10 days however since I was a special customer, he will get it back for me in 7 days. It is the authorized Service Center however I regret to inform you that not only the kind of information they provide to the customers is absolutely unacceptable. Every representative has different time frame to share with the customer, not only that, If you find the attached Job Card, it clearly says “SUNDAY WEEKLY OFF”. I again regret to inform you that on September 22nd (Monday) their center was closed. I travelleved almost 15 kms, to know the status of my phone and I realized that their center was closed. Wow !! Did I really buy an Xperia Sir/Mam or is that a cheap company phone. When I asked the service center head, he stated “it is a typing error”. Obviously he did not travel 15 kms without a reason, hence he gave it as a justification. I being a customer of the company had to suffer. Now, who in the company can justify this?? As I stated already, the service provided at the center is truly unacceptable. On September 24th, I realized that Service Center ppl changed their first statement and now they want to charge me the cost to repair my phone. I am not denying to the fact that I realize my phone may be out of warranty however I truly wish your company representatives to realize the importance of true information and helping the customers. Indeed if this was informed to me on Day 1 I would have went ahead and started arranging money, now after waiting for 11 days, they want to charge me money. I deny paying them now as they promised to replace my handset free of cost on September 13th. In case if there was cost attached to the same, they should have shared the correct information with me on Day 1. I have been without a phone for 11 days and I call it as “harassment”. Service Center ppl are mentally harassing me now. This is absolutely unacceptable. I request someone from the company to intervene and take an action in this matter. Also, I had request the Service Center Head to give me his manger’s details to which upfront he totally denied and stated I could locate it myself.                         Purchased a new Sony Z1 Compact for Rs 29000 from Sony Center in CP and found that it had major faults: both cameras faulty, sound system faulty, software corrupt which corrupted my personal data as well. Visited their service center twice and they took the handset on 2nd visit stating that it will be replaced since this handset can't be repaired - even at a later stage! I feel cheated because this was never told to us during purchase and then this product has major issues. what am i supposed to do if there's a problem in the handset post warranty? Purchase a new handset? I have written to Sony India twice on their id: Sonyindia.[protected]@ap.sony.com and they simply say that they will look into it without any resolution - note that the phone is with them since the last 8 days. I need a refund of my money and have asked them to correct my data (and sd card) which got corrupted due to their software issue. I am quite dissatisfied with Sony's faulty product and unresponsive attitude towards their customer - seems that they care a damn about their customers once the product is sold. Please help me take up the matter as this should (to an extent) ensure that Sony India will attend to other customers' concerns (hopefully). I can be reached on astrid.[protected]@gmail.com.

                          I have purchased one sony xperia c on[protected]. on[protected] I had a complaint for the handset as the touch was not working, I have given the set for servicing in Service Centre (Madona, Thiruvalla, Kerala) After one week, They have informed me that the handset is damaged due to water inside and required Rs 9400 to replace the same as they can not provide warranty even though it is 6 and a half months old. I strongly believe that Sony is selling some damaged products in the market, unfortunately I am the victim this time. and giving 6 months accidental warranty, because they know exactly it will not last more than six months

                            I bought 40 inch Sony Bravia to just three years ago. On Aug 2014 the screen goes to darken after TV turned on. After complaining, technician inspect my TV and told me that the part of this model is not available now and I have to replace total power board by spending money about 10-12 thousand. After hearing that I think Sony TV buyer should keep lots of money to repair it just like a four wheeler maintain. Therefore please take necessary step so that customers money is not goes to back of . To earn money we have to work day & night, and this type of loafer company snatch our strenuous money from this way.

                              I had purchased Sony LED Tv on 1st Nov 2013. After 9 months of purchased there are some problem related with display. I contacted to NRI electronics Sony authorized service center at 94, GF road choudhary more Ghaziabad Up contact no.[protected]/4296677 on 25/7/14 and after repairing work TV was returned to me on 28/7/14. But again after two months i faced the same problem and i again contacted with them on 14/9/14 till now the TV is under repairing and i has been advised them that they don't have parts the same is not available becauase the model has been stopped by Sony India. since the same problem i has faced again and again i therefore request Sony India to advise the NRI electronics to sort out the issue as soon as possible and return my product or if possible change my product.                                 I bought LED Tv model number 41B from Nandilath G Mart Trivandrumm branch on 9/9/2014.The TV is not working and I made a complaint using ur toll free number and I got a register number 21071614.and in your message you informed that my request id is assigned to Madona sales and service Trivandrum.Accordingly I contacted them but till now no response is recieved from them even after my repeated request there response is very dissappointing.This type of response from your service sector may harm your reputation.kindly consider my request.and do the needful.                                   My Sony Home Theatre has been out of order for more than a month now without any signs of rectification It was first rectified by replacing some lens motor but the problem remained and it was taken to your service center on the 9th of this month. Ever since there has been no response from your chennai centre. The phone number provided is switched off. I have escalated the issue to your Delhi call centre 4 times and sent mails equal number of times. Nothing really is happening. I got another number which keeps ringing. I must say your service in chennai are of the lowest quality i have ever experienced. They don’t care to call the customer. When we do connect after several attempts, they give evasive replies. I have requested for a replacement unit for which i have still not received a reply. You will agree that a standard electronic item like Home theatre can’t be out of service for over 5 weeks I would like you to intervene at the highest levels and ensure an immediate replacemen.                                     sir i have bought sony t2 ultra dual model no.D5322 on date 05/08/2014 after one day 06/08/14 i found that display is blinking and one pixel is dead i have deposit my set 07/08/14 at sony customer care centere at lucknow aditya infosolutions job no. W[protected] i got a call that my set have repaired i collect the set on date18/08/14 i saw that still the problem of display and pixel dead is remain i lodge a complain on ur tollfree no.same day and complain no.is [protected] due to very buesy shedule i did not deposit my set same day again i de[posit my set 08/09/2014 for sdame problem job no. W[protected] STILL MY SET IS AT care i did nbot want to take that set i want to replace my set with new one cuz that unit have problem since the datye of purchase plz take proper action

                                    I bought sony xperia E, 6 months ago.Suddenly my display went out..I gave it for service but they are not giving proper answer.they are asking 4000 rupees...now the real price is nearly 6000 only...I like sony but becoz of improper service i hate it...
                                    We have purchases 32" LED In faridabad may-14 from Shanti corporation's JAWAR COLNEY..
                                    But Last 5 day led not running due to display problem

                                    family and i spent more forty thousand on it including v guard
                                    stabiliser and airtel dish.but all in vain.i strongly express my dis
                                    satisfaction regrding the quality and life span of sony led tv.Fyi i
                                    bought this tv from a local retailer.and its not an online purchase.

                                      Dear Sir, With respect to subject mention above i have purchased a mobile (Sony Experia M single SIM bearing EMI No. [protected]) as on date 10/10/2013 and this mobile is under one year warranty period but this mobile is not properly working condition since purchase time and has gone a lot of time authorised Sony service center (Unique quality experts Meerut U.P ticket id No. [protected], R.N-Goel & Sons Pvt. ltd. Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh ticket id No. [protected] two times and Digital informatics Pvt. Ltd. Barielly U.P ticket id No. [protected] two times) but one time barielly and Ghaziabad have no record of my complaint and no ticket no or jobshet no given by your authorised sony service center. This mobile set change one time damaged mother board and many parts but have to change again damaged mother board after diagnose by Mr. Yaseen tecnition of Bareilly center and Mr. Yaseen advised me to replaced this mobile set beacause it is a defective mobile. So i want to change my mobile set . Kindly check this complaint and take immediate action against on this. I have also one complaint of misbehave with me to your authorised center personal, customer care executive and have no satisfactory feedback or response. If you will not take immediate or satisfactory action then i will have to go consumer court and make a complaint of my mobile phone.                                         Sir, I wanted to buy a 32" inch television but due to miscommunication and misjudgement by your customer care executives at your Sony store in Aggarwal Funcity Mall, CBD, Shahdara, I was given an LED TV of 28" which got delivered at my place on 18th September' 2014 and when I installed it, I found out that it was short in size. I then called the customer care executive who helped me buy the LED and he told me that it cannot be changed as I have already installed it and it is now termed as second hand LED. I would request you to please look into the matter and reply as soon as possible.
