Dear Sir / Madam,
Policy No: P/171113/01/2022/001025 premium paid on 24th April 2021. I am the existing customer in ICICI Lambord Insurance, but due to your continuous follow up I shifted from ICICI Lambord to Star Health Insurance and premium paid as per the above mentioned.
As of now I have not received any Policy document to my address. I have given remainder through whats app to your team. But nobody is responding.

Please pursue the matter at the earliest.

    Claim reimbursement pending FOR MORE THAN 40 DAYS

    I have made several complaints to Star Health insurance through phone and Emails but even after almost 40 days. I have not received my reimbursement of hospital expenses.
    I had taken a Cashless Health policy P/700002/01/2021/053310 with Star Health in Oct 2020 to cover any sudden medical expenses !
    But I am highly disappointed with the services of the claim support team of Star Health, First they have rejected my cashless request...

    R/sir,
    I, Sanjay Shankarlal Agrawal, am the agent in Star health and Allied insurance.my code is BA[protected].sir I had made a Covid claim for my customer Nanda Vinod Agrawal having Policy no.P/151116/01/2021/011976.and claim no.CIR/2022/151116/2411491.sir the claim is rejected by the company on the grounds that the patient doesn't need hospitalization. I had submitted all the documents and also the letter from doctors stating that the patient need hospitalization.
    Sir, no one on the earth want to get admitted in the hospital unless it is required or advised by Doctors.sir the patient condition is well known by the Doctor who is treating the patient and in my case Doctor suggested hospitalization so she get admitted. She had been given regular injections and sallien.and company is saying she doesn't need hospitalization, how can company be so sure only on the basis of reports of patient as they had not seen the patient face to face. Sir our company condition is that for getting claim 24 hour hospitalization is necessary.and the patient is admitted for more than that then why company is rejecting the claim. In other diseases we are not go so deep that whether patient need hospitalization or not then in covid cases why we do so even after Doctor suggestion to admit the patient.it means that we are neither trusting the treating Doctor nor the customer.if company think that Doctor has made a wrong call to admit the patient then company has to bear it with that Doctor not with my customer as she had told to admit by the Doctor and so she get admitted.
    So I request you to please lookafter the matter and give justice to my customer.

      I wanted to renew my membership for 2 policies, individual and parent's policies.

      I dialed TOLL FREE NUMBER[protected] number asked for help to renew my both policies, in one hour call star health executive unable to help me to renew both policies, unfortunately I got answers like,

      1. " I can't tell you the difference between revised policy and current policy"

      2. "You can cancel your parent's policy and add your parents in your individual policies, but don't know how/benefits/policy amount".

      I am unable to renew both policies as there is difference between requested amounts and actual amount and customer executive unable to provide explanation.

        Submitted a claim reimbursement original document through DTDC courier which were received by Nungambakkam branch on 15th Jun. However post receiving there was no update on claim nor the details were updated on the website .

          i had submitted my hospitalization claim in the month of March-21, wherein the company had repudiated my claim on 19/05/2021 saying diagnosis is post-COVID vaccine effect. Thus there is a discrepancy in the records which amounts to a misrepresentation of facts. I don't understand when I was hospitalized for hypertension and the company arrives at the wrong decision.
          I wrote to them on 21/05/2021 asking to reconsider my claim but till today no reply from the company. The facility of consumer care is ridiculous, most of the phones are out of order. even if you get a chance to talk to their officers they will say we don't have access to the claim settlement department. as they are all at the Chennai office. In that case, where will i go and ask for my claim status. You are requested to kindly intervien and solve my problem at the earliest.

            Family health policy purchased from STAR in year 2019 . Policy details- P/151115/01/2021/019334.
            Hospitalisation claim for my daughter of INR 89000/- applied in the month of Jan 2021 and STAR ha rejected the same by stating pre-existing disease and cancelled my policy.
            Actually, my daughter's hospitalisation was not a pre-existing disease. Several times communicated to star through email but no use. Raised the concern to MD of STAR but invain.

            Very poor response from STAR team during this claim settlement process. They are not having financial capability for claim settlement so they are rejecting the claim. They shall be heavily penalsied for such practices.

              I have opted for senior citizen Red Carpet policy for my father recently. In that newly issued policy a category called Permanent Exclusion Disease has been included which was not even available under any clause in the policy statement nor the representative informed during any of the previous discussion happened. Now they are sending a letter and asking for our consent to agree for the same which is unfair on any grounds. Please see that how the permanent exclusion category can be removed from the policy.

                I have not been informed before the Claim Intimation/Financial-Settlement raised vide Claim Intimation No: CLI/2020/191117/0429740 against Policy No. P/191117/01/2020/001956 moreover there was no due payment as after Mediclaim Policy (Star Health) Payment I paid the rest amount from my end which was accepted by the hospital and afterthat Discharge Paper handed over to me then how is that possible to raise a Claim Intimation/Financial-Settlement in the year of 2021 while the claim was fully settled in the year of 2019 so as early as possible please inform me clearly the full details of all parts/sections about the said Claim Intimation/Financial-Settlement raised also let me know the exact reason by sending me all documents why Rs. 9113/_ was paid and I want all clear clarification with all documents/attachments as early as possible please.

                N.B- I have sent mail to claims.[protected]@starhealth.biz and [protected]@starhealth.in from my Email ID- [protected]@hotmail.com two times dated 25/05/2021 & 31/05/2021 but no reply received till date so I request to reply my mail also solve my query as early as possible please.

                  Patient -Bharat Rathod was admitted in hospital on
                  22/3/2021 till date even we don't know the discharge date its almost
                  12 days in hospital .

                  Billing amount is increasing day by day now the amount is around 5.60lakh we cant afford that to pay

                  claim no :- 0614875

                  As old star policy amount is exhausted and it got expired on
                  31/3/2021 and new policy has been renewed from 1st April 2021

                  As spoke with customer care on 1April 2020 he told that we can
                  approve further deduction from new claim even i have the call
                  recording

                  But today i got a call from kinjal customer care she was denying that
                  it can't be approved from new policy

                  Request you to please help and approve claims from the new policy

                  As we can't afford to pay further amount by ourself
                  even
                  if some minimal charges need to be paid to approve the above
                  request let me know I'M ok with it .

                  No help from star claim at this tough situation

                  they are telling following term and condition, we are customer from 11 year of star health but still no help from them

                        My name is Urvish Patel. I bought a Mediclaim on 6th June, 2015. My Customer ID in Max Bupa Health insurance is [protected]. I continued renew it till June, 2019, So My and my family member’s health was completely insured since June, 2020. In this policy Maternity benefit was included.
                        I got a call from Mr. Siddharth, Employee of Star health insurance from Mobile number [protected] on my mobile number [protected]. This call received on 25th May, 2020 at 11:49AM. He offered me to portable my health policy from Max Bupa health Insurance to Star health insurance and also offered me that If you are more than three year old customer of Max Bupa than you will also be more than three year old customer of Star Health. I talked to him for 5 minutes 10 seconds. I told him about the pregnancy of my wife. My words were “ My wife is pregnant and fourth month is running. “ I told him clearly I want this policy for Maternity benefits and my new born baby which would be also include in the policy.
                        In the call when I was telling him about my wife’s pregnancy, he didn’t speak any word that this year your maternity benefits were not included and all. When I called him on 2nd Nov, 2020 for asking the procedure for claim but didn’t get any satisfactory answer So I called Star Health customer care number [protected] on the same day at 01:18 PM. From Customer care I got the news that Maternity benefits would not include in my plan So I called Mr. Siddharth and he told me to check and revert back. I was manipulated by company.
                        After this I mailed Company and grievience department of company and also converse with Mr. Binoy Tiwari ( Whose name is on my policy). But I didn’t get any solution from Grievance. After this I complained all the things to IRDA. All the details of IRDA Complaint number and Grievance is as below. All the time Company grievance department mailed me that Maternity benefit is not included in policy till 2 years but they were failed to answer me my 2 questions and repeat recorded tape. I want answer below 2 questions.
                        1. Why shouldn’t company employee denied me to portable my policy from Max Bupa to Star health when I informed him that my wife was pregnant and 4th month was running?
                        2. Company mailed me that if you are more than 3 year old customer of Max Bupa than after portable you in Star Health you would be 3 year old customer of Star health also. If Star health provides maternity benefits to its 3 year old customer then why should it deny me to give maternity benefits?

                        I sent these all the things to Ombudsman of Insurance. They replied me that this is not include in the rulebook of them. Means I think that every insurance company can make fool customer and Ombudsman take their rule book. I attached the answer of Ombudsman also.

We had taken treatment and submitted all original documents to Star, But after taking 03 months to observe the documents they had rejected the claim and saying that you have old disease and this is not due to fall down.

                              They didnt reply at all from the beginning, when we submitted them all our original details in the month of june, they suddenly started to reply us from the end of september wanting again original papers which we already have submitted, they continously harassed us until 18th of november, but when i asked them why it took so long to approved the same, they didnt reply, they told we don't have adequate balance in our insurance policy claim, but we already renewed our policy on 10/03/2020, and the policy holder and my husband also expired on 27/03/2020. Still they also turned a deaf ear towards us, and finally they settle the claim of 1, 18, 340 by giving us a meagre sum of 1446 inr, against the claim, we also mailed them this issue they didn't reply any of them positively. I am just a widow how will i stand against them and that's why we demand justice and compensation from them for harassing us continously for 5 months.

                                Hi Team,
                                I am surpised to see a mail from start health insurance team stating my claim is rejected. stating that insured patient's vital signs are stable throughout the period of hospitalization. I request the team to check the discharge summary clearly which states Patient presented with temperature since 6 days & vomiting, weakness since 2 days, cough since a day. we were in home quarantine for a week and the symptoms are getting increased due to which the doctor suggest to get admitted.
