      Hello sir.
      I had purchased health insurance policy for nandini shah on 2015 from star health insurance. Her age was 61 at that time. After that i renewed policy every year.


      Mine policy number is p/700002/01/2020/047734. At time of 2015 mine policy insurance amount was 1 lack. And it was not co-payment policy. It was fully covered for any disease. At time of policy generated i had mentioned age was 61 and it is fully covered policy.

      Now i had upgrade this policy on 2017 from 1 lack to 3 lack and i had not ask for co payment. Why mine policy get term co payment??? I had just upgraded the amount. I had not ask any change in this policy. Then policy get term co payment. Why star health insurance add this term? Star health insurance cheated on us.

      Because there is not any logic that i am paying 12 to 14 thousands and i will get half cover of policy. Why this term get change to co payment. Can anyone please explain me..

      I had worst experience of this renewal from star health insurance.. And i am feeling frustrated and fraud companys experience.

        This is to inform you that i have purchased online health insurance policy from star health policy no. P/700002/01/2021/016344 on[protected]Attached insurance copy) for my parents, 1. Dau dayal sharma (Father) 2. Shila devi (Mother), on time of doing policy over the phone i ommitted to tell that my father got heath attack on[protected] and admitted on same day at balaji action hospital for treatment, he has discharged from hospital on[protected]Discharge summary copy attached) and taking medicine continuously after discharge (Prescription copy attached), he has also diabetic problem too. I told all matter on 07/04/2020 to your executive and she sent email on 05/07/2020 in your official email, many times reminder given for subject policy but nobody are taking serious to add ped on my policy.

        You are request to please update disease of my father in health insurance policy immediately, for not get any problem in future for claim processing. Or return my all amount paid by me rs.36035/-

            They are real crooks. Do kot share any modification in policy benefits to customers and even do not bother to revert on mails or o. Social media. Branches are even worst. This DNA flows from top to bottom. Shameless people, management and team.

              I am customer of starhealth since long but i am suffering a lot from day 1 of my 1st claim submission.

              They did not care about their customers at all.
              Each and every time it happened that they have deducted amount without valid reasons and then

              Numerous emails - no satisfaction
              Numerous calls - no satisfaction
              Numerous tweets - no satisfaction

              The company is on peak of harassing their customers, months passes by and the did not respond.

              Their customer executives speaks as they dont care about the repo of comapny

              I request consumer support to get me out of this troublesome situation urgently.

                  I took the policy and made the proposal on 28th of February and since that day I have requested them to cancel my proposal and return my money..

                  But they are only delaying the whole process by saying .. ok our customer service agent will give you a call..

                    Mr pradeep manjrekar (Father) got admitted in the hinduja hospital with diagnosis of infected left knee joint. He is suffering from this aliment since 2019. Patient is covered in corporate mediclaim policy since[protected]. The policy period is[protected] to[protected]. As per policy terms and condition pre-existing diseases are covered. There is no waiting period for pre-existing disease. Patient underwent the total knee replacement surgery in the year 2019 as per policy terms and condition there is an aliment capping for knee replacement surgery during the policy period. Insurance company while processing the claim for infected knee joint applied an aliment capping for knee replacement surgery which is not justified.
                    Patient is suffering from infected knee joint. Patient underwent multiple debridement’s with external fixator application and left knee arthrodesis in hinduja hospital. Since the treatment was for infected knee joint and the same did not figure among the ailment capping diseases, it was understood that the patient could not be faulted for interpreting the condition in the aforesaid manner and thereby staking his claim for reimbursement of the entire medical expenses.
                    Patient admitted and underwent treatment for infected knee joint and not for knee replacement surgery (This has been confirmed by doctors and test reports, same was shared with insurance company on the very same day). As documentary evidence had proved this point, the insurance company’s restriction to the aliment capping is questionable.in the facts and circumstances the decision of the insurance company to settle the claim of infected knee joint for rs. 150, 000/- is not acceptable.
                    Any contract of insurance, to be enforced, has to necessarily be based on the principle o[censored]berrimae fides, i. E. Utmost good faith.in an insurance contract, the intention of the parties must prevail, and this intention is to be looked for in the policy itself.in the absence of any specific condition mentioned on the schedule of the policy limiting the sum insured to rs. 150, 000/- for the treatment of infected knee joint, the patient cannot be found fault with for having interpreted the terms of contract as those literally mentioned on the face of the policy.

                      Star health insurance forgot to save humanity in order to save their terms and conditions

                      I have own IT company with 30 employees and 3 directors including my father. Everyone was covered by Star health insurance. Insurance policy was managed by one of star health agent who do new policy, renew and all services. I called him December first week for some questions and he remind me that my parent's policy expiring by this December. I told him to collect cheque whenever you have time. Later he messaged me on December 23rd in wtsapp that "Good morning, Pls call me, Renewal time of your health insurance." As I have asked him to share me the NEFT details as I was out of station. Later he replied me that he on leave till 31st and will do details by Dec 31st. Then conversation stopped.

                      My Father got admitted in hospital around 11.00 PM on 26th December due to high fever. He was insured by Star health since December 2016 onwards. I have informed; hospital the same. Unfortunately I forgot his policy number and promised hospital authority that I will submit by tomorrow morning. I called my insurance agent on 27th morning and his number was not reachable. Then I asked my HR to share softcopy of policy which I kept in office. I came to know that Policy expired on 19th December 2019. Around 11.00 am I called my insurance agent to discuss same the he was not aware of this expiry date. Then I asked me why don't you tell me that policy is expired on 19th. He was silent and told me that "its waster of time for us to keep discussing about this. I shall check with local branch and let you know". After 10 mins he called me and informed me that " Star health can't help in this case as the policy is expired and claim won't happen". I told him that mistake is not mine as I have asked you to come to collect payment or send me neft details which you didn't do at all or you would have told me that policy is expired and I would have find some other source to do the payment. And he replied he is helpless in this and "SORRY".

                      I called customer care on same day and explained whole story for almost 40 mins. They asked me to send detailed email and our respective team will get back with in 24 hours. Based on that, I have send detailed email and screen-shots of wtsapp conversation to prove my genuinity. I called again after 4 hours to follow-up and discussed same story with other support guy and they promised that team will get back with in 24 hours. All of customer supports guys told me that "Mistake is not only from you and insurance agent also made mistake here" I have waited more than 26 hours and didn't get reply. I called again and talked with other guy and explained the story again for 40 mins and promised that within 1 hour they will send reply. Again no reply after 2 hour and called then again and same procedure. Later I got reply that " Claim won't be applicable for expired policy" and beauty is they shared me link to renew policy. I called customer care again and asked below questions,
                      1. What is role of insurance agent?
                      2. I have asked insurance agent to collect payment or send neft details to make payment. But he didnt. Who's responsible?
                      3. Why my insurance agent didn't inform me that policy expired?
                      4. Why star health insurance agent customer care do remainder call before and after policy expire?
                      5. I have been renewing policy from 2016 to till this day for my employees and parents and I have never claimed any hospitalization. Can you tell me why I should stop renew policy?

                      Finally, As per terms and conditions I am not eligible for claim for expired policy. But here I have asked my agent to collect payment and he failed to do. Now I have been punished for someone mistake. if you guys feel genuinity and humanity, please approve my claim. Or Answer all my questions above.

                        We have submitted all relevant documents to concern authority, but still they have lot of queries.                             There is totally no support/ care for the customers once a customer had purchased a policy. It's being already 10 days since i purchased a health insurance policy. But still now i didn't receive the physical health id cards delivered to my address. My policy number is p/700002/01/2020/031309. Also star health didn't give any specific answers to my questions i asked in an email.

On 7.11.19, i received a mail from yoyr company regarding non submission ofclaim documents. So contacted agent, but he refused to inquire the status of the same and still non cooperating. Your customer care has also intimated through my conference call, your agent dis connected call. I eant to lodge complain against him. I[censored] require, i can submit call record

                                I have called Mr. Govind on his mobile no.[protected] in the morning regarding obtaining information for Medical health policy as he is driving I asked him to call once he free. he asked another person Mr. Dayal to call me who has given me missed call ( bell ranged for 2 seconds). Thereafter no call received. Now when I called Mr. Govind today night at around 9.30 pm regarding information and his todays conversation with me to call back, then he taken Mr. Dayal in conference, Mr. Dayal told him that he visited me 8 months before for policy and no policy taken by us. then he started talking arrogantly with me even I don't remember when he visited me when I asked him to him speak properly he thretened me and talked very arrogently, I have recorded his call conversation. WE expecting from your Side to take serious action against such arrogant agents this increase gaps in between customer and Star Health.
                                If agent of Star Health is talking this way, then we have to think before taking policy.
                                Hope will get positive reply from your end with action taken against such agent.

                                I Anup premehcand kalyani PolicyNo. :P/171121/01/2020/003836, why there is additional deduction amount ( its 1754) against claim no0675256 as compared to last claim at same shusrut hospital for same treatment daycare procedure where deduction amount is only 750. reimburse the amount. Also send enchantment on my sms everytime.immediately.
                                I get 3-4 phone calls from different numbers from agents of Star Health, on weekdays, weekends at all times. I have repeatedly told them that I'am not interested, however the calls do not stop

                                  My mother is being insured with star health since 2014. Every year renewal went fine in time and there are no claims made till date. This year due to my onsite travel, i missed to renew by 25th august 2019 but later within two weeks during grace period only i approached star health renewal team asking for porting my father to star health & getting my mothers insurance renewed. I emailed them on 15th sep along with many multiple calls. None replied or answered to my emails & calls. Finally they responded in the month end of sep 2019 and dragged it further and then acknowledged me saying, since grace period of one month also is completed, they cannot renew and asked me to take new policy where again the waiting period starts. This is totally unfair. They didn't respond nor helped me in the grace period for the two weeks and finally ignoring the customer saying helpless. I have looped level 1, 2, 3 departments of star health for the grievance and none helped me. Kindly help in getting my mothers insurance renewed.

                                  I did missed the two weeks grace period due to my onsite travel and I have updated the renewal team the same.Star Health Insurance has accepted their mistake of neglecting my request for two weeks and promised me saying they will take care and have my mother insurance renewed. But finally they are saying we cant help, take new policy. How can they treat a customer who is being insured since 2014 and renewing in time always and for a genuine reason missed 2 weeks in the grace period. but still attempted to email them, call them. if anyone from renewal team have acted to my emails promptly in time then I would have got my mother insurance renewed in time.

                                      No. P/161121/01/2020/001099, apke company me 25/04/2019 ko online insurance karaya tha, jisme 4 member ka insurance kiya gaya tha, jisme 1member sunita singh ka helth 26/08/2019 ko kharab ho gaya jishe m p birla hospital me admit kiya gaya, aur apki company me jankari bhi di gai, aur hame ak claim no.. Cli/2020/161121/0380670 mila, paisent ko 29/8/2019 ko discharg kiya gaya, satna m. P. Me aapki branch na hone ke karan, sabhi hospital ke paisent ke dacuments aur claim form courier ke dwara apki claim branch me 2 bar bheja gaya lekin abhi tak bhi koi bhi responce nahi aya. Aur phone karne par bhi koi responce nahi aata. Paisent ka id card no.[protected] hai.
