I had ordered on July 18, 2019 (7:25 p.m. IST) from Ovenstory, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. It was already paid. 40 minutes after the order, the delivery guy called and rudely asked me to cancel my order since the restaurant was already closed since 7:27 p.m. (2 minutes after my order was placed and paid for). He then said that my order could not be delivered bcause apparently, there was another division within the restaurant which prepared that specific item and hence, it could not do so today. All this I came to know after 40 minutes of placing my order and paying for it. I refused to cancel since Swiggy does not guarantee refunds in case of cancellation by customers. I tried to raise the issue with Swiggy customer care, who initially said that my order has already been delivered! I had not received any order and my order summary showed that it was delivered. For about 20 minutes, I tried to seek help from the customer care, and after about an hour or so they responded saying they were still looking into it.

Finding no other choice, I called up the customer care and they said that the delivery guy had told them that the restaurant was closed. I asked how can a restaurant close within two minutes of accepting an order? Swiggy had no explanation for it except the fact that they have initiated a refund, which may take up to 4 business days to reflect in my account.

My grievance:
1. The unethical attitude of the partner restaurant of closing within two minutes of accepting payment for my order.
2. The delivery guy rudely asking me to cancel the order as if it was my fault that the restaurant was closed and I should not have placed it in the first place.
3. Swiggy refusing to compensate for their careless attitude towards customers like me who was unnecessarily harassed for one and a half hours for just resolving the issue. Not only this, but there is no way you can get a formal complaint registered with Swiggy in the name of the partner restaurant and the delivery executive for failure of their duties.

      I have ordered food from Campari Kolkata vide order id [protected]. Mr Bimal Das [protected] has come for the delivery. The payment has been made thru SBI net banking for Rs 226/- to Swigy Ref #IGAGPRUPRO on 18/7/2019.
      Mr Bimal Das is asking for the payment of INR 226/- inspite of my payment made. He has seen the SMS and on Laptop the Account Statement where in the said amount of Rs. 226/- has been debited. He is adamant to take money from me. Convince me with one evidence that why I should pay double for the item already paid. The food has become cold and bad now I demand full refund for the food gone cold and tasteless.

      The Delivery person named Mr. Bimal Das is not ready to leave my house without payment. Please do the needful for him to leave the place immediately. He was shown the SBI Account detail wherein the INR 226 has been debited from my a/c to INB Swigy a/c on 18/7/2019

          As yesterday we ordered the chinese combo n one meal combo...in that combo paneer chilly n instead of this they provide chiken chilly n this is sin not mistake... Definitely not tolarble or ignore... We want to escalate both restaurant n swiggy. As we are bramine n what was done is totally wrong.. Please take action as soon as possible. This is very serious issue.. Don't take it lightly. This is sin not mistake.

            Had placwd an order but cancelled it as soon as possible. The cancellation was succesful but still it shows me to pay 200.
            If i havent had any food then for what reason will i pay the money..

            Please fix this fees in some sort of compensation or else we are unable to use swiggy again...

            Very bad policy for cancellation.

            Either provide compensation or some food item for that value.

              As per swiggy oder no [protected] i have order food as below

              01. Missi roti 04
              02. Kadahi paneer 04
              03. Fried rice
              Total order cost was inr 313

              But instead of mentioned food they delived only plain tawa roti and daal and take full charge. Later i complain to delivery boy in this regard (No sent by swiggy) but he say "i dont know you can compalin to swiggy.

                I ordered paneer roll for my jain friend and instead a chicken roll was delivered and he ate that which is like corrupting his religion. For someone who never ate chicken this is really sad and disappointing... I hope swiggy to take some necessary steps regarding that. This makes the authenticity and quality of food very questionable. I hope swiggy to found some way to compensate about this.
                I ordered food on 14 june, 2019 and i ask swiggy about refund for spoilage of food.Swiggy informs me tht refund is processed on same day and i still didn’t get any amount against my refund.
                Today is 12 july, 2019.

                  I ordered veg garlic noodles and cauliflower from Red Box bangalore JP Nagar.
                  I received beef rice and beef pepper.
                  Being a pure vegetarian I am deeply disturbed by this and waste of time and mental energy. Swiggy's response was refund which is a very negligent way of handling this situation.
                  I would like to register a complaint against swiggy and the red box hotel.

                    The refund for the order #[protected] dated 10th June 2019 placed on Swiggy for an amount of Rs 190/- from Burger King was not yet credited to my account.

                    I have contacted the Swiggy Customer Support so many times, they are saying that the refund completed successfully on the same day. But as per my Bank Statement it hasn't been credited.

                    Kindly take appropriate action to resolve the issue.

                      I have placed order at 1.33 PM and opted for express Delivery on 16th July 2019, because I was very hungry and needed food soon.

                      The status was "restaurant yet confirm your order" and the same status was there ever after 2 hours. I have had chat with customer care 3 times and they said, they will assign a delivery executive in 10 minutes. so it went on for an hour. So after two hours I called the customer care and a lady told me that they will cancel my order.

                      So I how can we trust swiggy, If a person is hungry and waiting for the food to be delivered, just to hear "we cancelled your order, you will get full refund". I don't care about the money.

                      - What about the time I wasted, they don't care.
                      - How trust able swiggy is, when they can't follow their process properly?
                      - Why can not they early if they can't assign a delivery executive.

                      I want to take this complaint seriously.

                        We received bad quality food, the food didn't feel fresh we threw away most of it but my friend ate a little and got food poisoning. After multiple complaint all they did was give a 75rs coupon.
                        Now she has to visit doctor and pay for medicine, plus the mental and physical agony and pain.

                        How do they feel a 75rs coupon is worth everything. Not maintaining proper food quality, atleast the type that can make you sick.

                            My name is aman raj... Yesterday i have order pizza through swiggy... The transactiong get declined and they deducted rs. .417 and told me that your refund will be in your source account paytm payment bank...but today when i contact them they are saying that they have initiated from their end...but when i call dominos they said that they havent received any order through my registered my mobile number
                            Then again i contact swiggy they ask me to contact paytm customer care and i did same they said that they havent got any refund
                            Swiggy making me fool
                            This is the second time i m facing this issue

                              The packaging of the ordered food was not proper causing the spill of food in the polybag & making it not suitable to eat. But Swiggy took no action & didn't refund the money neither collected that spilled food. Till yesterday I kept that food for proof & today only I put that in garbage, also a waste of food. Such incidents are common with Swiggy & strict legal action needs to be taken.
                              I order kadhi rice. I eat completely and at the end of the box I got cockroach.
                              Im looking For a refund for the order of ice cream i recieved. it was purely used And open .I informed swiggy care about it but they didnt resolve it by saying we will try to resolve it
                              Please Resolve my issue with the help of refund

                              I have ordered food on swiggy, first time the food was delayed I continuously called customer care and delivery boy but it took more than couple of hours..
                              I make the order 8.31 pm but afte 10.04 pm after 1and half hour they want to cancel my order how they can and they giving 100 rupees for relaxation
                              Your delivery boy is using your company name toh get the personal number of girls and then he start talking rubish i want you to take action in this case and call me urgent otherwise I make sure your campany has to pay for it

                                  Pathetic and irresponsible service. I have ordered my breakfast (Order no:[protected]) in the morning today and swiggy marked it as delivered whereas actually, they did not. Again i ordered my lunch (Order no [protected]) same day but they did not deliver.

                                  It seems now swiggy has lost the capability to service the customer. I think the customer should switch to swiggy's alternative.

                                    I ordered mexican burrito bowl from freshmenu hotel, lower parel, worli, via swiggy.
                                    Order id# [protected], after eating this i felt uneasy followed by continuous vomiting. Even food was not fresh. Rice in that bowl was not freshly cooked, it seems it was stored earlier and served with heating.

                                    I want strong action against this hotel, its highly unprofessional.
                                    I am ordering some food from Bhanu food outlet from my another number [protected].My Order no [protected]. I was already done the payment, but your delivery boy name vikas kumar was not delivered my order. Now when i am calling your delivery boy, he doesn't even pickup the call. I am very much disappointed.

                                      Total paid: 400

                                      And # food received worst rajma, worst dal makhni and everything worst and when complainted they will say we will provide you 75 rs.

                                      I want my complete refund back, no one from support supported also and they said we cant do anything. I did one more mistake to opt super user will revoke that soon as first the order received too much delayed and when delivered its shear #.

I am decided not to work with swiggy. An i decide to refund my money. They said you have to come tomorrow for the refund.

                                        Very bad service, really.
