Hello,

Yesterday dated 11.10.2021 I ordered food item from Swiggy around 7:58 p.m. with order ID[protected].

I was continuously observing through my gps that delivery representative was coming according to the route and suddenly at 9:15 p.m. before reaching my location, he cancelled the order without giving any intimation by him or any Swiggy representative.

Both my contact number and the email id are provided to Swiggy ( no provision of providing alternate communication mode or information is in Swiggy site) and still this miscommunication happened.

This is a total matter of regret and such kind of service was not expected from the Swiggy from where I have placed so many orders previously.

As soon as happening the incident I have prolonged discussion with Swiggy representative ( Parth) through chat requesting him either to make the food package delivered or I would pick up from delivery partner's location. He did not agree with my request and told the charge was 100% cancellation fee. After some request he assured me to refund 50% of cancellation charges and also confirmed to arrange a call with higher executive within 24-48 hours.

Now, this was a complete picture of performing zero effort from Swiggy side to successful completing of compliance and as I had no fault at all, I should not suffer monetary loss.

So, requested Swiggy to arrange 100% refund of cancellation charges at earliest.

But no response till now from their side.

    I ordered food on swiggy it got confirmed got prepared and then my order got cancelled reason being delivery executive don’t want to deliver it then why take order on first place and they don’t even change the delivery executive they just cancel the order after successfully wasting my time and then I ordered second time I got a call after an hour from swiggy that your order is an hour late after already been waiting for an hour I had to wait another hour and the swiggy don’t try to solve the issue they just ask us to cancel the order so their accountability is no more that’s how the customers are being treated by swiggy and that’s not the first time this situation happened with me. I just got frustrated this time so I am writing a formal complaint hopefully this will change something about swiggy and they don’t even compensate for the delay

    [protected] This order got cancelled because delivery executive refused to deliver then why accept the order in first place and the executive can be replaced but no order was cancelled after waiting for an hour.
    [protected] This order got delayed because of some issue in restaurant and this was informed to me after waiting an hour for my order. You guys should inform about the delay before taking order so we can order from some place else.

        My Swiggy delivery ID is been temporarily deactivated.

        I had joined swiggy last year, due to an accident my leg was injured and I was in bed rest with respect to covid19 lockdown, I couldn't participate or engage with swiggy delivery partner app and after one year (present date) as my health condition is good and I am capable of continuing the job, my account ID 1348595 has not been activated and I am not able to connect with any of the customer care representatives.         Cod option removed

        I ordered food and the delivery executive refused to pick up my calls and was not moving from his location and i waited for an hour then canceled the order . Now my cod option is removed because of the delivery executives fault and they are not changing it ....

        I am very frustrated from the application swiggy actually i have ordered the food on October 5 of this month for some of my guests but the items missing from my order and from that day i am continuously begging for my refund through chat support and email also for the items i haven't received but no response . Why are they taking full amount for the item which they are not giving in the parcel . I request you to help me in regarding this . My amount is not very big but atleast give me some solution but they are not interested after doing this fraud

          This is to inform you that i have ordered food from Bijoli Grill restaurant located at Mandi House Delhi through swiggy app at 12:45 PM on 09.10.2021. The restaurant had confirmed my order and delivery partner was assigned. The delivery partner picked up my order and proceed to reach at my location. I was so hungry and eagerly waiting for food. Suddenly at 1:56 pm they have cancelled my order.
          I have lodged a complain at swiggy app and they have replied that the delivery partner reached at my location and he was unable to reach me then the back end team tried calling me 3 times and sent me mail and SMS as well. But the fact is that Delivery partner didnt reach at my home, i have not received any Email or SMS. I am agreeing that due to network issue my number may not reachable that time, my question is that if the delivery partner reached at my location then why he didnt ring my door bell?.
          I have raised my query and asked for refund through swiggy app but Mr Sarat and his senior didnt address my query properly and was making me fool through computer generated replies and wasted my one and half hour.
          This is gentle request to make refund order value and also compensate for physical (not getting food on time) and mental harassment.

                Placed an order at 9:45 PM at Mani's Dum Biryani and the order was picked up well ahead of schedule. I see the time to be delivered is 25 minutes. I kept the tracker on and waited from 25 it became 27 min then it became 22 min then again becomes 25 minutes. It just shows the person going in the surroundings and not reaching my place. After waiting for 35-40 minutes I called the partner and he says sir I've taken double order thats why I'm delayed. I'm like it was supposed to be delivered almost 15 min back how long will you come he says sir another 15 - 20 minutes and dropped the call. I call the customer care and I am informed that there has been a bike issue with the delivery partner after informing him as well that the issue is with the delivery partner picking double delivery and nothing else the customer care person says wait for another 15 20 minutes I said this is not acceptable and asked to speak with his supervisor which he mentioned that a call be placed again to us after dropping the call. Waited for 10 min no call I try to call again the app doesn't allow the call and the chat option has be given but there is no one to pick the chat. Wonderful then the next delivery guy comes and gets a sarcastic earful from me saying your really early for tomorrow's order and pick it at 11:18 PM. Really crappy experience would not like to order from these people ever again.

                  Here I will come to the straight point why I am writing this to you.

                  Firstly I am damn hungry and due to this incident I just ate biscuits and writing this to you.

                  I dont know what you will do after getting this escalation on the concern I am highlighting but I hope as CEO of company you will give me the best of yours for my satisfaction on the worst part happen to night.

                  Subjected order was placed at "SAI PALACE PURE VEG" with 3 food orders. Though i suppose to the get the order within 46 Minutes. Order was placed at 8.36 approx.

                  Surprisingly the swiggy boy reach to pick the order and suddenly I received call at 9:45 approx that the items are not available so please cancel the order, I was like after 1 hour the partner is ordering me to cancel the order because of item not available, something like joke is going on. After an hour who the hell will ask to cancel order for a reason "THE ITEM IS NOT IN STOCK"

                  My question is sort and simple, if the stock was not available then why partner has accepted my order, they can call me and confirm on of sudden or ask to edit order but why this happened after reaching to the restaurant ?

                  Also your CC guys were so hopeless and keep trying to convince hungry guy to cancel the order ?

                  Chat boy was also doing the same, surprisingly in between even after in straight words that I will not cancel order, whole fault is yours you guys have cancel the order without consent and refunded me the amount I have paid.

                  You can check my history I was more happy to order food from you instead Zomato but now I have totally lost the faith and trust on you guys. ZOMATO is best now for me.

                  I know the trick you guys have played with me, you come to know the mistake and holdtge order by giving lame excuse as out of stock.

                  See refund is not only closure of this I need compensation.

                  One more your Chat boy was giving me bribe of Rs.41 to cancel order, you may check conversation.

                  Harrasment on top...!!

                  I will highlight this to all social media platforms.

                  I am working with TATA and I know the brand work which impact after the escalation.

                      I have place this ORDER #[protected] around 2:40pm with below items
                      Chicken Manchow Soup x 1, Chinese Fried Chicken x 1, Dragon Chicken x 1, Chicken Butter Garlic Noodles x 1, Chicken Chilli Garlic Chow Mein x 1
                      Received order at 3:53pm, please find the attach picture just received one packet from delivery guy. In that packet 4 above mentioned items were there, there was no Chinese Fried Chicken ( full).
                      When I call the restaurant they said they have sent two packets, but I received only one. I called delivery guy, he said he has delivered what was given by restaurant, he is denying.
                      Wasted around 2 hours making calls back and forth, during the time food got cold and my family was starving.
                      When I reported this to swiggy they informed me they will send only missing part after 2 hours when all the food got cold.
                      This is very disappointing to see one food item is missing and no one is claiming responsibility for it.
                      This is horrible service received so far from swiggy.

                      received a call from the escalation team, stating we have given strong feedback to Restaurant and offered to refill the missing item.
                      It is evident that Swiggy no longer cares about their clients.

                      After paying 1200 rupees and going through the hurdles listed below, my family and I ate cold food with no side dish ( Chinese Fried Chicken Full ) and want to compensate for the missing chicken.

                      What a fantastic answer I had from Swiggy in terms of support.

                      I'm asking senior management, is this fair enough from your end.
                      Why did my family and I pay 1200 for cold food when an item was missing from the swiggy end?

                      please refund or repeat the order, If no action is taken, I have other ways of escalating this matter.

                      I will pursue additional options. I'm not opposed to going to consumer court.

                        There is this old woman spitting food while on dining table as she finds food not tasty. The salt is mising from thw food. So Swiggy is advertising for their grocery store. But should one must see grandmother who is supposed to teach the younger generation tabe manners is spitting food out. How about being polite? And the disgusting act is directed towards the viewer. I literally move each time so she won't spit in my face. How disgusting?

                        What logic tella anyone to buy salt from a store which prootes bad habits? Perhaps I am too conservative and whole world progressed spitting right at dining area nd continue to eat.

                        Some one pease take note of this abominable advertisement.

                          Date of the incident - 1-October-2021

                          Description -
                          I order food on Swiggy and the items ordered by me were 3 Burgers, 3 Fries and 3 pepsi. The delivery guy delivered 3 fries and 2 pepsi. I sent them an email to either send me an order which had all the items ordered by me or refund, they denied my request. They are not trying to help on call nor on chat. Only asking me to send email but not resolving the issue there as well.

                          The missing items were 3 Burgers and 1 Pepsi. Each burger costs around 300rs. and a pepsi bottle was for 20rs.

                          Desirable Resolution -
                          I need a refund for all the missing items.

                              On 24th Sep, 2021 I placed an order[protected].
                              Soon after I placed it I realized I need to add one more item but I did not get any option.Within 3 minutes I cancelled the order to place another order with the extra item.
                              For this I have been charged Rs. 444 (which was the order value) as cancelation fee.

                              The restaurant did not even confirm the order by the time I cancelled it.

                              I reached out to swiggy support for refund of the cancellation fees but I have been rejected 5 times. 4 times no valid reason was given for the rejection. Once I have been told that food was already prepared so cancellation fee can not be reversed.
                              Is it a joke? Within 3 minutes restaurant already prepared the food?
                              And I will be charged Rs. 444 for the food that never even reached me?
                              After being a loyal customer of swiggy for more than 3 years, this is grossly unacceptable and unfair.
                              I request help and justice in this forum for this malpractice.
