[Resolved] Tikona — Charging for full Billing Cycle even if not providing the services | |||
This is Manish Kumar Tiwari. I had a Tikona Broadband connection with User ID : [protected]. This connection is a post paid plan where i do payment in advance. On 15th-Jan-2014 I have requested for the transfer of my Connection to the new location in Bangalore. On the same date Bill for the next three months is also generated. Tikona service team had informed me that the Tikona services are not available in the new location, and hence I decided to terminate the connection. After calling the Tikona CC so many times and asking for the Full and Final settlement so that I can pay the bill for services used and close the connection, i received the email with the full and final payment. Details Mentioned below are the Full and Final Settlement details for your Account no.[protected]: Amount Payable : Rs.3370.29/- Non - Usage Period :0 Waiver for Non-Usage Period :Rs.0/- Balance Amount Payable :Rs.3370.29/- Now Here I am not using the services since 16th Jan-2014, But still i am being charged for complete 3 months. I called the CC and asked why they are charging me for three months, even if i am not getting the services, I have been told that My shifting to new location is not Tikona's fault, its my fault so I have to pay the complete bill for three months, even if I am not getting any services. Also as I know all such services should be charged on pro rata basis. Can you please help me in this regards, as first time I am seeing that customer has to pay the bill even without receiving the services. Looking for a positive response from your side. Post full and final calculation, you are liable to pay Rs. 3, 370.29/- which includes charges for the billing period January 15, 2014 to April 14, 2014.

But still i am being charged for complete 3 months. As the account was post paid, the billing should be done on pro-rata basis, that's how all post paid bills are generated.
I am still not clear, when Tikona was not able to provide the services to customer, why the customer should be charged for full billing cycle.
