Tikona - Not meeting QoS and harassment calls


I have been using tikona service since feb 2013 .I have been facing the connectivity problem and speed problem .Every month I have to make complain several times. Some times they sent service engineer but they couldn't resolve the problem.Internet Connectivity was not working for atleast 5 days in a month.But In the month of feb 2014 we faced connectivity issue for 18 days when i called the customer care for termination they said they have some technical issue soon it will get resolved and after that you can apply for reimbursement and your bill get adjusted in next month.I applied for reimbursement but in next bill(26th feb 2014) i haven't received any concession.
Then on 13 march i applied for termination, but they didn't disconnect it. They said for there satisfaction they want to check service for few more days .I clearly mentioned that i want to discontinue the service.But on 26th of march again i got the bill for next cycle .I stopped using service by 30th march 2014.And on 7th April i got confirmation of termination with a bill amount of 2344.96.I don't know why i have to pay for the service which i have not used. I paid full amount for every month for 1 yr although they are not providing continuous service throughout the month. And at the time of installation itself they are charging some security money and money for installing device n kit.I already returned there kit I don't know how they are adjusting those money.

But now am getting harassment calls, telling like this is call from Delhi High court and if you will not pay your bill amount within 30 min am going to file a case and giving me advice like as you are from chennai and if the case will get registerd to have to come to delhi that itself cost you more than your bill.When i asked why i will pay this amount let me first talk to tikona customer care then he keep on telling they dnt have time if i fail to pay within 1/2hr they will file a case against me and then i have to pay 10 times of the bill amount.
They didn't meet quality of service Benchmark and asking me to pay the bill.
1. Connection Speed to be more than 80% from ISP Node to User. I didn't get even 200kbps. My plan was 2mbps.
2. In one yr of service i faced connectivity and speed issue for atleast 120 days made more than 150 calls to customer care.
3. Am getting harassment call from this no [protected] and they don't have manner how to talk to customer. This is not court's phone number. Tikona should verify whether this is their customer care executive number or their lawyer's number.

Hey buddy!!! I am here to support you. Tikona is a very cheap company. I am facing the same issue. Its been 5 months when I had raised complaint for termination and have received acknowledgement saying your connection has been terminated but I still get same call which make me crazy.

I am running a campaign against Tikona in all the cities where Tikona exist. It will be through social networking websites. I will share the link with you on the same page.

I will make Tikona disappear from India. Will aware every bdy not to chose Tikona. Lots of people are joining this page.

Yes i think its high time.Tikona cant befool us with this prank calls.Received lots of threatening call and in the last call they asked me to collect summon from nearby police station.I went there but there was no any summon in my name.Even i m planning to register a complain against them for threatening me to pay a bill for the month when i have already applied for disconnection.
I will always be there to support everyone who will stood against this corroupt company.

I have two question for you.
1)In the month of jan I was facing connection issue for several days(almost 18 days) either the speed was very low or i could use net connection for only few hours in a day.At that time when i asked customer care for disconnection they replied that this issue will be resolved soon and after that i can apply for waiver.I applied for waiver but didn't received any in next bill.(I wish i have applied for disconnection)
Now you are telling that i have used data in my waiver applied period .
I want to ask if i will get net connection for 1 hr in a day or let it be 5-7 hr a day and i have used some data and net is not working for the rest 20 hrs in a day ...IS I AM NOT ELIGIBLE TO GET WAIVER?
2)Now on 13th mar i have applied for disconnection but it was not disconnected .
and again i received new bill for next month.
Now i am getting call from your legal team who call themself a advocate of Delhi Highcourt (Mr chetan sharma) when i explained the reason why i m not paying he started threatening me that see you dont have any proof that you have applied for disconnection .There is no written proof .I said i applied a request on 13th march to disconnect then he said there is not request made on that day.[ i want to inform you that I made the request on that day and i noted down my request no(1-[protected]).]
and he asked me to settle down outside court by paying this amount.
I just want to inform you i am not going to pay for the service which i haven't used.And dnt force me otherwise i have to register a police complain against your so called advocates and your company and i can see there are others also facing same issue.Please dont befool us.
I am ready to pay for 1st month bill if i will get the appropriate waiver and remove the bill of next month which you have charged after i applied for disconnection

    3 months i requested to surrender my connection and discontinue my services.

    they did not and generated the bill.

    i did not paid the bill as i instructed them i will not pay i[censored] do not discotinue my connection.

    company send their executive to collect the bill forcefully.

    which i had to pay left with new choice as to maintain a rapo in neighbourhood.

    now they have another bill and threatening me to pay by some kinds of mobs on phone call.

    main point connection is still not disconnected till now while i m writing this compalint.

    security money which i paid 2 yrs back also not refunding.

    i dont know how long it will go if they dont discontinue the ID [protected] and keep on generating bills like extortion.

      hi, my user id no. is [protected] I have bought Tikona rs. 2950 plan which consists of 3 months subscription having 2 mbps speed upto 20gb and then 512 Kbps speed including all the installation charges and taxes. but i am experiencing very very bad network and service from Tikona. I need to call their chargeable customer care service center regulary for network issue.The completed half month will complete full month on 21st may 2014. please help me if i could get my money refund by charging one month usage.         Through this forum I raised my complaint to Tikona Digital Network on 1 April 2014. Till date neither they are able to provide a permanent solution for my problem of no connectivity or no speed, also the fluctuating latency (from 20ms to 4508ms in moments) which affect both. When I asked for disconnection they asked for ten days and from very same day 16th April from evening my connection became showpiece. On 18th there executive came made changes in position of device and get it set. For two days things remained alright, then onwards on ever second day I have to update and complain them about no speed or connectivity along with fluctuation in latency. Meanwhile when I was not getting solution they sent me bill of Rs 953 against my plan of Rs 599, (which is generally 653Rs per month) though I already asked for wavier of bad service period. When I asked they told about Rs 250 charges of re-installation which in reality has not take place since I am living in same locality from last 3 years. Also it is informed that they can't give me wavier as I asked for disconnection. So, I want to know stand of Tikona team which is intentionally disturbing the connectivity from back-end as I found that on every call things get ok for some hours- What they are going to do giving me disconnection or solution or just making lame excuses or sending executive with no proper solution. I simply want whatever Bill they give just make it justified then I will pay and disconnect my Internet facility immediately.

        The issue of no speed or no connectivity arise every second day, as per your support engineers in field the latency and roaming issue create all this. Yesterday, even the device on terrace got changed but from 6pm onwards the issue arise again. Therefore my request is that kindly keep my connection on observation at least for a week, like the way it was kept on it for 24hours just 2 day back, later Engineer was sent. It was found the issue was on network firstly end and latter on device end. Rest is up to you that how you will sort out this problem.

          When I asked for a subscription from TIKONA broadband when I was living at B-401, Indian Oil Apartments, Noida Sector-62, their sales representative named Abhishek came in for installation and demanded Rupees 2950 as three months advance with installation and taxes, we paid the entire sum and was promised that if we move to another property they will move the connection to the new property and if they fail to do so, they will refund the security deposit whatever is left of it. After their engineer came over to my new property and was unable to setup the equipment because of limited coverage, he said we will refund the money back but when I enquired about this to TIKONA there customer care representative logged a complaint (Ref No. 1-[protected]) and told me that the security will not be refunded

            I had made a recharge of a pack of 30GB and an friend of mineby mistake had made another recharge in my account. Both had us made requests to revert the payment of plan done by my friend. Later i was told that i can use this pack activated by my friend when i have used my existing 30GB but i have to make a call to get it activated. Today i received a sms informing me that my data is almost over. After an enquiry through the customer care executives i came to know that without my request the new pack was activated and around 20GB that was still remaining in account from the 30GB plan had lapsed dueto the activation. The activation request was not made from my end and I am being told that it has been done by me as a result of which i have lost that 20GB.

              Dear Sir/ Madam,

              I am A.Thakur from Raipur (C.G.) and I have a TIKONA connection (). This is a complaint against TIKONA wireless broadband providers. Their payment portal is very unreliable and it shows payment failure on cards with no CVV no. We called the Tikona customer Care as we could not pay the bill online through debit cards, because of faulty designed payment portals.The customer care just transferred calls from one to another and the staff which contacted in person were rude and unprofessional and even not concerned to help. They billed Rs.200 extra for non payment of bill (for bill of 15 mar- 15 apr 2014). I have pais the extra bill details of which are giv I request you to please see into the matter and help me.

                Tikona is cheating me.I have taken (user id-[protected]) 1Mpbs plan and getting speed of 15-20Kbps.It is really pathetic. Also frequent disconnection.I called customer guy and they told me yes you will get varying speed. And its not varying, It is constant Low speed. I am cheated, I want my 3500/- back.Please do something consumer complaint

                Tikona Brodband — Internet is not working

                  I had been using Tikona connection [protected] and since March 2013 I had stopped using there connection since we shifted the place. I had informed there customer support and they said they have processed for termination . I couldnt saw any of there guy coming and collecting the devices. we left those devices and left After one month i look at they raising bill and no one talking about process of termination. Just misusing the system and there customer care are useless..I refused to pay them as i never used the services after March 2013. Now there lawyers and advocates are harassing me that if i dont pay they will send summon ..I want to teach thes epeople lesson.. from 300 INR bill initally now they want 3500 to be paid.. They dont have any office in delhi where you can go and discuss, and there advocates are saying pay in 30 min or else u will have dire consequences.. It is shame that we are part of such service industry where customer is being treated as hell.. I would like to have a solution from them and have NOC so they cant trouble me again, Forsure i wont recommend them nor use there services...pathetic approach.

                  On repeated threatning call from your advocates / Agents, I was not even given time to get reply from you. They repeatedly said make payment or we will take you to court as if i am a criminal.. I asked them i will make payment but i need full and final letter and service discontinuation as i dont want any issue latter. They confirmed once payment is done they will send letter.. I did complete payment on 2nd and then your fraud agents stops responding to my call.

                  Now i ask you Tikona either you respond me or else i will take you to court for fraud, harassment, forgery and wont spare you to treat your suscribers like this.

I have taken the Tikona Broadband Connection " My User ID[protected]" since more than 8 months.I was regular bill payer of my whatever internet usage.In the month of "Feb-2014", I have told "Tikona-Customer-Care" to CLOSE my Tikona BroadBand Connection & also the raised Request to do so.But they have not closed it earlier & charged the BroadBand Usage Bill which "I did not availed/Used. "Now, Tikona is asking me to pay Rs.786+300(Penalty) for such incorrect billing which is done by them.Tikona is giving pathetic service for the Customer front.It is really frustrating to reply such illegal procedure what they are following.I am requesting do the needful.                       Its not been a month taking a tikona broadband connection which has created alot of problem's ever everytime the connection goes down and even not able to get the landing page for tikona. Called tikona customer care 5-6 time to ESCALATE the issue they arrange a engineer everytime the engineer come checks the problem and its resolved and it works good for a day and again the same issue goes on until the next engineer does not arrive. Even the plan which i have it give 1MB of speed its just a false info it actually gives only 400-500KB speed. Tikona server is near my home which is 500-600 meters away still the same issue arises. So i would request not get a tikona connection as its created alot of mess and problem's.

                        Dear Sir /Mam, I unfortunately happen to choose Tikona Broadband connection (User ID- [protected]) and got it installed at my place on 7th April 2014 ( less than 2 weeks before). From last Friday onwards, I am unable use your internet services as it is not showing any network. I complained regarding this on 21st April in morning, and I was told technician will visit to our place in next 24 hours and resolve the issue. Its been almost 24 hours but no one visited or called us from Tikona.When I again today in morning called up your customer care they are saying now the technician will visit next day (23rd April). I am really fed-up of all this hell, I am regretting my decision to choose Tikona as internet provider. Now my humble request is to you please disconnect this connection and refund my the balance. Its been such a pathetic experience in just 2 weeks, in future I would not recommended Tikona service to any of my relative or friends. It is been more than 10 days since my internet not working and nobody from Tikona came to resolve my complain even after contacting them atleast 12-15 times during this time.                           I am using internet service of Tikona Digital Network service provider(ISP) from dated 28th Feb.2014. From the initial month of connection I am facing a problem in service due to the network issue in the service of tikona. I try to seek help from the customer care of tikona several time in order to resolve my problem, but they didn't responded well and I am still facing the same problem continuously. And now after this type of inconsistent service from tikona digital network still they are demanding us to pay the bill without resolving the problem.

                            The Tikona Internet connection has been pathetic. I had subscribed to a decent plan. But I have never got the speed promised. Also, the connectivity is very poor. Internet gets disconnected every now and then. Can someone please take an action?

                              I used to have a tikona Broadband connection for few months the speed and connectivity is fine. From mod Dec 2013 the speed has gown down. I used to complain, they used to say after 4-5 days it is fixed, speed will be fine for few days and again same story. Once in end of Jan 2014 or first weeks of Feb I said to terminate the connection since I am not happy with the speed, They escilated the call to someone higher, they convinced me to give a chance, I continued. But the problem started again. This time I started taking screen shot of the speed test they provided before every use. At the end of the month I asked them to terminate the connection, and also informed that I am not interested in paying the whole bill as I never received the full 2mbps speed. Initially they said they will look into it, but they have generated the bill for full amount. I sent tree mails asking to look into the same, but no response to the email, So I called the CC today now they are saying that since the connection is inactive now they cant do any thing, I have to pay the whole bill. They also called me to return the adapter, I informed to send the person any time but no one came in to take it back.

                                I bought this service in OMR. They promised 4 MBPS of internet connection. I paid online rs 3000 got the connection. It was working for one day then the rest of month it did not work at all. I called the so called customer support of TIKONA, They are not able to solve the problem after 7 unsuccesful attempt. This entire one month I never had an connection working for me to connect to internet. I disconnected the service. Then they charged me with another 3000. I called TIKONA customer support. they said they will waive the fee as internet connection was not working. Suddenly one morning they called me that they filed case against me in Delhi and I need pay 1 lakh if fail to do online transfer 3000 in a one day. This company is rip off. Dont get any internet connection from them. Knowing several people having TIKONA connection I yet to see one single happy customer.

                                  Tikona Cus No : [protected] There was no internet connection on January-2014 around 20 days. 100% it was dead. I requested for waiver these unused days. 1) I got phone call from tikona ppl that I supposed to pay only Rs 607 only. 2) Also Jan 29th mail from from Tikona customer care like "As per your request we have provided waiver of Rs.59/- on your account". But this amount was not adjusted in next month(Jan-15th-2014) bill. As usual full amount bill(Rs. 672.92) got generated on this day(Jan-15th-2014). I paid Rs. 607.00 for this Jan month bill. These tikona people keep on rotating this difference amount next bills. No one from Tikona speaking their mistake. Its very diffucult to communicate our issues with Tikona Customer care. I already registered another complaint in this wesite the topic is "Awful Customer Care. Dont buy this Tikona connection." During last September/October 2013 also there was no proper connection. That time aslo I requeted for termination. but those people begged me like "we will resolve the issue". After lot of awful experience with tikona I asked to terminate the connection and I got same on Feb-2014. But still tikona sending bills me every month. "Please no one buy this tikona broadband connection". Totally having tikona is Waste of money. Waste of our time. You will get lot of depression/tension if have get tikona broadband connection.

                                    As i clear my all balance while disconnecting Tikona Broadband Services, The service engineer came to my house for taking my modem back . I given every thing but when i ask for any paper you will give me he told nothing sir every thing is done .
                                    After that i called to customer care and ask for my full and final settlement . They told me sir it will take 30 working days .
                                    Mine will i contact to customer care via mail also .
                                    After the end of the month i got a bill . I call to customer care and told they told that sir its a auto generated bill don't worry about that .
                                    Then one day a got a call from customer care they told "Sir you didn't submitted the modem please submit it and provide us a scan copy of CPE receipt ".
                                    I ask what is CPE receipt then they told after submitting the modem they will give me the CPE receipt .
                                    Then i called to the engineer who take that modem from me . He told sir i left my job now i am working in other company . i call to customer care and told that if you need i will provide the detail of the engineer to whom i submitted my modem .

                                    But till date i am receiving a call form Tikona and many time they will tell i am calling from HIGH COURT . For paying the bill.
                                    But yesterday one lady call me and told you have a court notice from tikona services.

                                    I am getting so tension with that issue please do some thing .

                                      Very very Poor response from Customer Care. We supposed to call to this customer care no.[protected]tollfree) in case we have any kind of issue. But if we call its very difficult to get connection. it will be a miracle if we get connected to their customer care executive. At last if we got connection/someone picked up the line, sometimes at the middle of the they will say some reason and terminate call. Then again we need call and start explain from the beginning only if we get connected quickly. Hence it will be extremely difficult to convey what issue the customer has. No body in the earth can have that kind ok patient. This is totally customer care. It make very few time or very rarely we can get connection to the customer care executive. Not every time. But many time / every time we will connection. Hence lets compare with (very few time) vs (many time) Most of the time we cant get connection. Finally if you buy this tikona connection, we have to spend most our time trying with cus. care only. ++ So again I am saying ++ No body in the earth can have that kind of patient to wait. This is totally customer care. company. Pls never ever buy this brodband connection even if they give life time free connection. This is my experience with tikona.
