I have using tikona Internet service for the last 6months. Since Dec 2013 I have been facing the connectivity problem and speed problem. I complained so many times and they sent service engineer so many times but they couldn't resolve the problem. I told them to disconnect the connection in the mid of Jan 2014 because of the poor service.
They didn't accept my complaint and told like they will send engineer one more time and try to resolve the problem. I didn't get any solution from them. Billing date in 26th of every month and they are generating the bill in one Month advance. I sent mail on Feb 3rd to disconnect the service, but they didn't disconnect it. Feb 13th is the due date and they called me to pay the bill then only you will get the speed. I said "You guys didn't provide the service and I am not going to pay the bill please disconnect the service". After two days I got threatening calls from Tikona to pay the bill. Again I sent mail on Feb 19th to disconnect the service. Tikona is generating bill in one month advance and I have told them to disconnect the service on the previous month and more over the money I paid last month is totally waste. At last they disconnected the service and I have returned their kit. But now am getting harassment calls, telling like this is call from Delhi court and am going to fail a case.
They didn't meet the TRAI's QoS Benchmark.
1. Connection Speed to be more than 80% from ISP Node to User. I didn't get even 200kbps. My plan was 2mbps.
2. Within 3 working days the repair/restoration should be done. I am facing the problem for more than 40 days.
3. They are incapable of providing the service but asking me to pay the bill.
4. Am getting harassment call from this no [protected] telling like they calling from Delhi court. This is not court's phone number. Tikona should verify whether this is their customer care executive number or their lawyer's number.

Hi,
As I complained you guys didn't provide any proper explanation for the quality of service that you have provided. In Jan & Feb month your service engineer came many times to my house and told like DATA PACKET LOSS is more. I have asked about these in the call regarding all the complaints, you guys also accepted that so many complaints has been registered. Since you guys didn't resolve all my complaints for more than 40 days am not going to pay for the days that service is not provided properly.

    I would like to bring to your kind attention that I had been having internet connection problems since almost 3 months and I had been calling the Customer Care of Tikona and had requested them to send the engineer to resolve the issue. As usual, we all know about Customer Care in India (pathetic, rotten). I started to call the Customer Care of Tikona since March 20th 2014 or something and the answer I got was, it would be rectified within 24 hours whereas everyday I am facing the same problem of internet connection going down intermittently almost 5 or 6 times a week and every time I had to call them and no one from their side was ready to send an engineer to physically check and resolve the issue. At last on April 15th, one girl promised me that she will be assigned one engineer to check the issue. Surprise!!! same Indian attitude, the assigned engineer promised me he would be coming on 16th at 5 pm, but that 5 pm never arrived according to him. Today, I called him and he says, I am assigned to some other area and said Mr. Abhi (one more specimen) is assigned to my area. When I call this guy, he says without the Tikona sending him SMS he will not attend to. I can't tell my client that my internet is down and the work will be delivered tomorrow. Can anyone please do the needful.

      I was using tikona for 3 years(no other option where I lived). Connection was okay but disconnection every 3 days and outages also you never get the said speed. Still it was survivable. Recently airtel started providing and I switched and real tikona emerged. I called to disconnect and the customer care person registered the call I disconnected the device and started on airtel. I got a call back in a week and asked me to lower the speed and keep the connection or transfer it to my friends. When I denied they said that it will take 45 days in minimum to disconnect. When asked why they said it is company policy. I informed that I will not be making a payment till the final settlement amount is told to me and asked the person to make a note. Since then tikona has been raising invoice over invoice and then started calls for collecting the same. When I told them the discussion during the disconnection they say that there is nothing like that in the system and I have to pay on refusing they started to threaten first saying people will come to home for collection which would be an embarrassment etc. I countered them that sending ruffians will ensure I collect damages from Tikona and they switched to legal threatening saying they will make case and sending legal noitices all while processing the final payment amount. After 45 days they calculated and asked me to pay full month due though I left in middle. surprisingly when joining it is prorata but while leaving it is not. This ought to be a rule from TRI so companies cannot take money without giving service. Even after payment calls does not end and the level of abuse keeps on increasing. People will call saying they are calling from highcourt of Delhi and they are about to register a case when I challenged that the number they are calling from is not registered to court they start to heap abuse . even though I say I have made the payment for full and final settlement. They don’t care they keep saying abusive things I call to Customer care and ask for senior official numbers or email and they will promptly disconnect the call. 25 times I have called and surprisingly the call gets disconnected next second I ask for senior official number. So before Using tikona think 100 times, they are trying to blackmail money from customers when they disconnect and also employ bad ways to force customers getting the money out. No one needs to be harassed like this. Go for any other connection but tikona.

I have already paid your payable amount Rs. 675/- for full and final settlement.I have already send multiple mails to tikona to collect tikona equipment but yet you have not sent your technical person to the mentioned address. As my current address is changed, i am residing somewhere else, that's why i request you to please send your technical person to collect your equipment's. Some Facts: (1) As Tikona has not provided me any Modem, i have purchase my own Switch to use internet on two Laptops. (2) I am not holding any property of Tikona but still i am threatened by tikona. So, I request you to please look into my matter and close my account as soon as possible.In case, if you found any problem, please contact on my number.           Dear Sir, I got a new connection (user I.D. [protected]) installed at my premises at 4060, sector 23 A, Gurgaon. I was issued a ID of [protected]. Despite of my reminders and their executive visits i could not enjoy my internet. The network is not working since inception on 13th March 2014. they are even asking for payment now, despite the fact that i have not used it for even a single day. it would be nice to get my installation fees back and some compensation for the problems caused by them to me.             Wrost service ever seen, i got a connection for 2mbps and its like i rearly get that speed. i'd assume it wil be my lucky day when im get 2mbps connection. connection is never constant and it kind of irritates me alot. cant do anything even while i have 2mbps connection. when i call the guy here, he would say 1. turn off the power for modem for a while and try 2. disable/enable LAN. that never works!! regreting about the new connection, its been just 10 days since i got this connection :(

              Hi All,

              Please do no opt for TIKONA broadband connection.
              Initially they ask you to pay nearly 3 months advance and they wont provide good service.
              The internet speed they say is upto 1 mbps .. please note that is UPTO 1Mmps however i am getting 126 kbps
              After talking to the customer support they say the same old story clearing the cache, and they blame our equipment stating the latency is too much on the system
              Its worst company and they are not refunding the amount.

I have been struggling with your services since two month and I have paid 3 months advance. I m not getting even 300 Kbps which I'm supposed to get 1 Mbps secondary speed. I understand contention ratio but 200 Kbps is unacceptable. I have made thousands of call to customer care and no improvement. If nothing' is done by customer care in one week I'm forced to go to customer court regarding poor services. I have applied for rs 849 and I'm entitled to get 1mbps but I get unbearably slow speeds. But every day i have to do complain regarding this speed issue that its running below 100 to 200 kbps speed . Even the first page of GOOGLE it will take 3 to 4 minute time. I complained regarding this issue to tikona customer support multiple number of times but still i haven't received any response or action to solve my problem from their end. They keep transferring my calls to technical department and back to them. This is the worst customer support I have ever seen. please refund my money or make it up otherwise i have to go for consumer court & complaint to telecom regulatory .

                I have received a call from tikona and same thing happened again they are explaining to me about contention ratio. All I ask them was when they know the contention ratio why in their tariff it's written 1 Mbps unlimited when they cannot provide it. I have paid for 1 Mbps and getting 200 Kbps, how disgusting this service is.
                Finally she said she can't do any thing about it. Sorry.

                  Hi, I got Tikona connection at my residence in November 2013. Due to non-resloving connectivity issue i applied for disconnection in December. The Invoice got generated in December and it shows over 2000Rs to be returned but no cheque is been provided for the refund even after calling them almost every 2 weeks from then. They refuse to generate a request no even because the account is disconnected and every time say that the cheque will come soon. This month when i called they said there is no refund under my name.                     I had a very bad experience with Tikona. My customer ID is [protected] and I live in Wakad Pune. I got the connection 2 days back and paid 3700 upfront for 6 months. The technician was very prompt in coming and setting up the connection. However, the service is really bad. 80% of the times, the network is not available (both wired and through wifi). I have tried calling service center 4-5 times. They said that they will fix the connection and somebody will call back. No body calls back, nobody fixes the connection. The local guy has stopped picking up the phone too. I had a very pathetic experience with tikona. Kindly help me get this resolved.

                      Harassment calls from Tikona

                      HI,

                      I had an tikona account with user ID -[protected].

                      I have raised termination request of my connection in Dec 2013 and after giving so many options they finally got ready to terminate my connection.

                      Now after 2 months got call from them for NOC of termination . Their advocate said to get NOC you should pay 1510 otherwise will file case against you.

                      This is a new way to make money...

                      I am customer of tikona internet services with customer id [protected]. I am facing problem in my internet services from the provider side from last 3-4months. I always face no connectivity or lower speed than my subscription, even after so many complaints there is no solution. Even after no or inconsistent services for 15-20days in month, the company is very much eager to on time bill payment and sending reminder through sms and calls. But they don't provide proper connectivity or speed.

                      After my complaints the tikona team keep following me on 3rd march 2014 my office time when I can't check my connection. When I provide a suitable time then tikona executive come up with false excuse that my 2 numbers were not reachable on 4th march. When I call on 4th night for my trouble with speed and connectivity then they came up with same old lame excuse that Delhi Server is not working and it is most frequent reply from Tech Support executives. Is it possible that the friends who get tikona installed on my recommendation lives near by my house get good speed and connectivity, while I am not able to open a page or two. Even tikona tech executive was not ready to take-up my complaint though one day back their team was trying to reach me as they said. Now, it is better that as I can't get a solution, my connection must get closed.

                      Its 18th April 2014, exactly 18 days from my complaint on this forum but no resolution yet from tikona team. I have asked for disconnection and gave a request to tikona for the same on 15 April 2014 . In return I got a call from tikona last resolution team on 16 April, they asked for one day time to try for a resolution of my no connectivity or no speed issue, before processing my request for disconnection. A tikona team Engineer came yesterday evening, just checked and exactly same thing which always takes place when there technical team or Appellate team member called me up i.e. no issue in speed and connectivity, that member was unable to give exact reason or solution that how suddenly in evening time esp. or in start of the day this no connectivity or no speed issue appears. He also gave his number, that if we face problem then tell them, since last evening until now neither connectivity is their nor that person is picking call or his number shows switch-off. Yesterday evening, I also received mail from tikona in which they ask for 10 days for all resolution or disconnection process and I have to pay all bill for this no service period too. My simple request is that since my total connectivity is nil then please stop this drama and end this dilemma for me, kindly take away your instruments and at least wave of the bill of no connectivity period. So, I can switch to new internet provider in a day.

                      It is 18 days since my complaint on for Tikona Internet
                      Service, but till date no solution has arrived. I instruments from my home on
                      15 April 2014. On 16th I got a call from tikona resolution team,
                      which asked for one day time before processing my disconnection request. They
                      sent a technician, who arrived exactly after getting confirmation that my
                      connection is running ok. He came, checked and move away without explaining the
                      reason that when tikona team call or engineers arrive then connectivity get fine
                      and after some it return to old status that is no connectivity or speed. He gave his number to call if there is any
                      trouble, but it is either remain busy or switch off. I also received an email from tikona customer
                      care which asked for 10 days either for resolution or processing request of
                      disconnection and I have to pay for no services period too. My simple request
                      is that since, there is no connectivity on my connection then please end this
                      issue here and make me free from dilemma so I can switch to new service
                      provider. At least if you can’t give solution then give disconnection quickly.
                      It is worst service period for me from tikona in 3 years.

                          Dear Sir, I had subscribed for Internet service from Tikona Ltd. But the internet connectivity was uneven and often we had to call their customer care and lodgecomplaint. My internet plan was quarterly and I paid the amount at the beginning of every quarter. My last payment was in October 2013, for the period 26thOctober 2013 to 25th January 2014. But in November 2013, the internet connectivity was lost totally. I was out of country at that time and I asked my parentsto lodge complaint with Tikona Customer care, but they could not resolve the problem. Later it was found that the power of Tikona transmitter in our area hadto be reduced and hence the issue. Later the official from Tikona approached us with the offer to install their transission tower on the terrace of ourapartment. In return, we were offered free internet subscription for 1 year. The proposal was discussed among our society committee (The copy of theirproposal is attached along). But later the Tikona official took back their decision and they did not contact us later.On 25th of January 2014, at the end of quarterly subscription period, another Tikona official approached us and asked for cheque for next subscriptionquarter. As directed by me, my father Mr. Krishnanand Shirali, told the person that we were unhappy with their service and poor internet connectivity & askedthe person to disconnect the internet and cancel our further subscription. Even after asking them to take back their instruments and cancel our internetsubscription, they did not send anybody for a month. Finally on 26th February, their official came and took all their instruments. We could not use theirinternet service till this time as their NETWORK WAS ALWAYS DOWN.After I came back to Mumbai, around third week of March, I received a call from this women who claims to be a lawyer from Delhi court. She asked me to paymoney to Tikona in half an hour failing which, a case will be logded against me in Delhi court. She threatened me that if I failed to comply with theirdemand, we will have to go Delhi with our lawyer and fight the case. She then called on my father's mobile number and demanded money. We have been receivingcalls everyday, threatening us to pay the money or else we would have no choice but to fight a case in Delhi. "Delhi mei aake court ke dhakke khaane padenge"was what she said. We have been upset and everybody in our family is tensed since then. I found that I am not the only person facing this problem and thatthere are several others and they have expressed their problems across different blogs. I request you hereby, to lodge a complaint on my behalf against thecompany which calls and gives false threats to the people, asking them money. Regards, Mithun

                            Hi, I requested for disconnection of my Tikona connection on 3rd March'2014 since i got permanently relocated out of Bangalore. So, i called up their helpline number on 3rd March requesting them to disconnect my connection and take their equipments before 6th March'14 since i was leaving Bangalore on 6th March. So Tikona executive assured me that their technician will visit my place on 4th March and take away the equipments (complaint no. 1-[protected]). I didn't get any response from Tikona so i again contacted them on 6th morning to take their equipment before evening, so their executive assured me that it will be done. Again i didn't hear from Tikona. So before leaving i dropped their customer support them a mail (dated 6th March) stating my concern and details of the care taker with phone number who can assist them in taking away their equipments (online request number is 1-[protected]). I started receiving threatening calls from Tikona for payment of outstanding amount of 230. I have made the payment of 330 (original bill - 230 plus 100 as late fees). I have received bill for the month of April'14 with out any usage. I have not used Tikona connection after 6th March'14. So receiving further bills is baseless. I have cleared all my outstanding bills till 25th March'14. Also, i have requested Tikona executives several times to take away their equipment but it seems they are making people falling in their trap and charging them extra and threatening them with dire consequences.                               m getting torture calls and mails from tikona or their legal department saying about legal summon from court. Earlier to this i have mailed to tikona on 25 sep 13 "I have got a call Tis Hazari Court from number "[protected]" they are asking to pay Tikona Bill of 1840, We have already registered many complaints about your internet service and then discontinued the service due to non satisfaction, then why r u asking for payment, when i have not used any service of Tikona. In fact, I can claim you for the payment which i have paid you and didnt received the committed service from Tikona and loss of work that i have faced. So, kindly tell them not to torture me, else m going to take strict action on failure of committments and mental torture." but they didnt respond and now again they are irritating me Kindly help

Nair about the network issue i have been facing from past 20 days during night time, but these guys have no time to understand the situation and not even a single person visited my place, as if their is an network issue that should be faced during day time also this is i think a system generated problem as i think, but i had enough of it an now after lodging so many complaints to them and still there is no response i am complaining this issue.                                   This is to let you know about the current situation of your tikona service support team. I am using the tikona connection from last two years with id#[protected]. On 16th of March i registered a complaint on [protected] that my internet is not working properly. The connection was very slow. No action was taken till 23rd March 2014. On 23rd March one engineer came at my place and changed the wire port(connected at roof) and went. But on very next day i found the same problem with my connection. So i called again on [protected]. There was one person who introduced himself as Supervisor named Sampat told me that he will send an engineer to resolve this issue as the problem is with the device which is connected at my roof. But nobody came at my place till today. I called again and someone who also called himself as supervisor named Prathmesh told me the same story but no resolution provided. I am very disappointed with the type of service your team is providing to their customer. Due to this now i am thinking to disconnect the service. If this will not resolve soon i will definitely need to think about it. I am writing this mail to you in hope that if you can do something about it so that no one will face so much of inconvenience due to your team negligence.

                                    Hi, This is venkata bhanukiran, taken the connection on 5th mar 2014 with id [protected]. Without checking the feasibility they given the connection. From the next day onwards i'm facing problem with the connection. Regarding the same raised the following complaints Request Number Status Reported On 1-[protected] Progressing 20/03/2014 1-[protected] Closed 19/03/2014 1-[protected] Progressing 17/03/2014 1-[protected] Closed 15/03/2014 1-[protected] Closed 11/03/2014 1-[protected] Closed 06/03/2014 1-[protected] Closed 06/03/2014 As per the recent visit on 20/03/2014 by Srinivasa R ([protected]), the connection is not feasible since no proper signal at my place. I don't how you people gave this connection with out checking the feasibility. Srinivas say I escalated to ATS team to take it further. But till date i don't have any update on the same. I called customer care there are telling no update on the previous ticket. we are escalating this. The pathetic thing with tikona customer care is they won't even tell you compliant ref no until unless, customer asks for it. I believe like till the customer won't take the ref no, i think they won't raise the complaint. The Tikona service is not upto mark. In that case how a customer will use/refer tikona? The technical executives won't respect the customer who does the site visit. But they are expecting money from the customer. I didn't thought this way tikona is servicing. Very pathetic experiance.

                                      I was Tikona Subscriber ID([protected]). I have raised a request on 6-Jan-2014 that I want to disconnect but they have called me on 16-Jan-2014 and disconnected my connection. After that I just want to continue this connection so I called customer care They have told first you have to pay the due bill and then it will be activate but no one called me I paid due amount and start using the service from 20-Jan-2014 to 23-Jan-2014, And I got a mail for full and Final settlement bill on 24-Jan-2014 one person came from tikona office and collected my device. Just after 10 days 4-Feb-2014 I got a message you were not using tikona connection is there any problem then I called customer care device is not with me how I will use connection they told your account is still activated. For disconnection they told again you have to raise request.And you don't have to pay bill tine period which you have not used connection. But again I got mail of full and Final settlement 24 Feb 2014 of 1013Rs. I have send all the document to them which I got at the time when they have taken device.
                                      On 13-Mar-2014 one advocate called and he told we are going to file complaint against you otherwise you pay the bill and let me now the transaction Id . So I will not file complaint. I paid the bill but still not satisfied with this discussion so taking this step and raising complaint .
