Hello Tikona Care, I am facing Very Very Low Speed & Frequent Disconnections from the beginning after my subscription. (from the past 4 days..the internet connectivity was not there 30 % of the times, and 60 % of time the speed was very very poor, it may be around 1 kbps, and only 10 % time i observed around 1 mbps speed) USER ID : [protected] Plan Name: ADBBM699 my online request number is 1-[protected](raised on 6th Jun 2014). i have not received any reply/action to this request. please fix the problem as soon as possible.

Hello Tikona Care,

Thanks for concerning my problem/request.
I have received a call from Tikona Representative, and told that "The Wireless Receiver was connected to a wrong Access Point with Low signal strength" and hence the slow Internet speed, and Suggested that resetting the Power Adaptor MAY help the receiver to connect a different access point with proper signal.

I will try this approach when problem arises and contact you if it is not resolved.

    They have been harassing my room mate and me for a few months. I have not been using their services since feb. They called me and threatened me to pay my dues or else i would be dragged to court. I spoke to their customer care and was instructed to pay the due amount of Rs.2255 and then they will disconnect the connection and not bother me again. I did so and cleared all my dues and sent their customer care an email to discontinue my connection. They stopped calling me but they were still sending me the monthly bill. I ignored that thinking it is auto generated and it must be a mistake. But this time instead of calling me they called my roommate and threatened to drag him to court and the same process all over again and extorted Rs.1609 from him. This is extortion and fraud. Please help. Please also note that we have not been using their services since FEBRUARY.

      Worst Experience ever USER ID- [protected] Name- Ravinder Singh Mehra Contact No. [protected], [protected]. I applied for the Tikona broadband couple of weeks ago. A engineer visited & did the wiring work but he was not able to login because of some problem which he didn’t tell me n said my ID is not working n will come tomorrow but no1 came for next 2-3 days. He didn’t even fix the wire didn’t do clipping work. After making 3-4 calls daily to the customer care 2 guys( one of them was Avinash sales guy) came on 22-May-2014 they checked the speed and said its fluctuating but net will not affect net speed.(now I know it was a big lie as there is big signal problem). They asked me to make the payment of the plan Rs. 3100.00 which I did n asked about the clipping of wire on the wall they said we will send a guy tomorrow he will fix the wire but that guy never turned up. After that most of the time net didn’t work but when it worked the speed was to slow[protected]kpbs) and I had to call c.care or technical team every time I try to use internet. please see he attachment. I was forced to go to cyber cafe to get my internet work done so what’s the use of such an internet connection. I raised this issue many a time 2-3 engineers (Gulshan, Sunil, Mahesh) have visited so far and have tried everything possible to fix the issue but there is no improvement. Finally they have said it can’t be fixed as there is signal issue in ur area n it will cause problem in future also. Now I feel like cheated by the sales persons, just to sell a connection they lied to me and said your area is physible (which was not) and signal strength is full (which was not) n I believed them as I had no idea about signals n all. Now it’s enough, I don’t want to suffer anymore because of this. I don’t want to call c.care n technical team for hrs on daily basis. Neither I have that much money nor the time. Request to u please refund my money as soon as possible. And request you to take strict against Avinash (sales person) for lying just for the sake of his sale. Hope you understand my problem...         Hi, I have been facing issues with my broadband connection for past 20 days and have made nearly 10 complaints regarding the issue. But none of them have been handled and the issue is not resolved. I have never seen a bad service with any other ISPs so far. Even after so many complaints made its really a shame that they never took a step to reolve the issue but sent the monthly bill on time. I will never suggest Tikona to even my worst enemies.

          I installed a new connection of TIKONA to make sure i get the service on time and hence disconnected my previous local ISP as their operational time was only during day and not on night. To avoid any circumstances to getting services delayed i swtiched to Tikona . However that was a a bad move and a biggest mistake i ever made. It a nightmare since i installes this connection . 25th May 2014 when i installed this Tikona and i payed INR.3100 ( 2 Months Advance Rental + Installation Fee ) which said i willl have 2 MBPS of Speed till 50 GB but as per their advertisment it says "No Speed Downgrade or NO GB Download Limit" which is totally misleading coz they downgrades a speed after 50 GB which is never said by their executive . Now the real issue is here on Thrusday ( 29th May 2014 ) there was a strom in Delhi which caused failure of some network which i as a human being understand so next morning i contaced their Cust Service dept ( it takes almost 15 mins to 20 mins to speak with technician) and their rep told me as because of strom their network is down so i said no issues and gave me a time frame that by 4 PM on 30th May will be resolved so i waited until 4 PM it was not fixed and called up around 8 PM in the evening to find out as it was not fixed then they said will be fixed in 8 hours and filed an official complaint . Next day morning i.e, 31st May 2014 i spoke with rep she denied to give any time frame to get it fix then i spoke with supervisor and he assured me it will be fixed by same day and was not fixed by 2 PM then i contaced in afternoon spoke with same sups and assured me again that will be fixed my evening . No result not even next day i.e, 1st June 2014 . Now when i am asking for a refund their billing dept says i[censored] cancel the services you will not get any refund and i asked why they says that they are providing the services and thus cannot refund . So i don;t understand here it's been 4 days now i don't have services from these people and they are denying to pay me back. So please help me if anyone has a solution, i would want to know if i can file legal charges against such a fake company who promises and services are totally fake.Avdesh - [protected]

          NOw it's been almost a week it was on 29th of May 2014 and today is 05th June 2014. I really don't understand how easy is for you to scam a people. Sir, try and understand i work on Internet and that's my bread and butter if you can't provide services then please please refund my money back I would be happy NOT to be your customer even my local ISP resolves the issue in 2/3 hrs and you people who claims such a superior in a market are not able to fix my issue even in a weeks time. Now it's been enough every time you people extend your time to resolve the issue . So do you think this is how it's going to go forward if you don't fix this for year I would stay without Internet for a year and my money which I paid you how about that. Please give my money back at least I will install new connection.THIS IS THE WORST EVER SERVIES BY ANY COMPANY...

            Two months back i received call from a
            Lady from delhi that tikona has field case against me regarding the outstanding
            Amt of rs.500 and acceserios of rs.1501 if i dont pay the same then they will
            File the case accordingly i have paid the amt of rs.2001 on[protected] also i
            Have inform tikon to disconnect my servicess through e-mail but there is no
            Confirmation from their side.

            Though i am not using their servicess
            Since feb-2012 but still i have paid for march -2014.

            After that i received a message from
            Tikon about the further payment of rs.1005/- when i called to their call centre
            It has been told to me that they have excess money with them on my name and
            They are charging for accessories which they have provided i told them that u
            Have already collected the mony from my side for the accessories then how can u
            Claim that ( i am having the recording
            Of my discussion ) during my discussion the call centre person has confirm that
            I dont need to pay any thing if i return the accessories. And told him to send
            A person to collect the same.

            Today i have received call from
            Mr.Ashok mittan from no.[protected] saying that he is laywer and tikon has filed
            Complaint against me so if i fail to pay the payment of rs.1005/- then court
            Will take action

            Request you to take a strict action against company for such
            Threting calls to consumers as they are asking us to pay for servicess which is
            Not utilized by me.

              Hello, I am registering this complain as Tikona is making many prank calls and I am in conversation with many people to whom these types of pranks calls are being made. First Tikona tell this : [protected] - Is this number is their official number or are they related to this number in any way ? I am going to Delhi soon for registering a complain against Tikona if it was a fake call. I have full proof of my final settlement details from Tikona. Many people are getting same calls from same number. First, Tikona tell me, are you taking any kind of responsibility for this number - [protected] ?                 Hi All, This is Vinod (User Id: [protected]) and I am here to report the cheapest of customer service through Tikona Internet Services. Whenever we call the customer care, Users are never allowed to speak to any of the managers or floor supervisors. We will have to go through calls with associates who hardly speak English nor are trained technically. If we speak technical, they don't understand us either. I have been facing Intermittent Connectivity Issues for almost 2 months now and I have even mailed the nodal appellate and even here the contact person Mr. Jayashankar Nair will never respond nor reply to any of our emails. We get calls again from members of the team who call on his behalf. The ATS(Advanced Technical Support) team will never bother to pick the call even if they are instructed by the nodal appellate. The nodal appellate also totally lacks professionalism and have no clue about what customer service is. If they tell us that they will call us on some day, they will never call us on that day. The whole team will just resolve the case even if the issue is not resolved. Even though I have never told them that my Internet connection is working fine in the past 2 to 3 months, they have at-least resolved more than 15 cases as issue resolved and even Mr. Jayashankar has mailed me that the issue is resolved. He will mail the customers only when their issue is resolved. If this is the case, then what is the need for a nodal appellate to be in organization??? This is the worst company I can ever think of in terms if helping customer resolve their issues and in terms of customer care and therefore I would request that someone in authority look into this an get me a permanent resolution with this. Even if we mail them to disconnect the connection, they will not do it. I would really appreciate if this reaches a wider audience and someone responsible enough at Tikona or the consumer court can help me resolve this issue. Best Regards, Vinod.                   I have been facing serious broadband issues from Tikona since last 2 Months. I have purchased a plan of 2Mbps Internet speed from Tikona. But everyday during the evening/night time I have not recieved speed of more that 200Kbps due to which I am not able perform my official works from home resulting in full loss of my office duteis. I have been regularly following up with the Tikona Service Providers from past 2 months now. These executives have never provided me with any concrete answers as to why I am not getting proper speeds. Even during the day time the speeds are very low and I do not remember last when I have on a full day received 2 Mbps of speed. I has been a mental pain for me to daily follow-up with these guys. They are providing daily with lame excuses and trying to put the blame on one team to another. In all this the suffer is only the client with is me. Now when I ask the team to give me a call back they are not even giving me a call back stating that the processes have changed. I have wasted more that 500 Rs already in calling tikona daily for 2 months now. In addition to that I have been paying all my amount on a monthly basis to Tikona even when I have not been able to satisfactorily use the Tikona service. Now I would like to ask Consumer Forums help to kindly get involved in the matter and punish Tikona for the service they are offering and the mental trouble they are giving to the clients. I have added a photo proof of all the service requests that are available on Tikona site that have been registered by me.                   Call is prank which is coming from Tikona side from these numbers. If you want, we can come together for a complain against Tikona.

                    On 17th May 2014 I paid Rs. 1999/- on request to continue to be Tikona subscriber. My user id. [protected] On 20th on compliant of not getting connection a Technition come and corrected the " device" and we were getting connection. But the connection was cut on 22nd. On enquiry we were asked to pay old balance of Rs. 6/- on old account. I paid Rs. 10/- on 24th May. NO connection. Compliant given compliant and was assure of connection with in 24 hrs. No compliant no. was given. No connection even after 48 hrs. Another compliant was given on 26th Luckily got the compliant no. the no is. 1-[protected] / 21.05 14. No connection till now. HOPE IN ANOTHER 24 hours ATLEAST I WILL GET MY CONNECTION.!!!

                      Hello, My Tikona Service number is [protected] I took this connection 18-may-2014. I was able to access Internet just one hour after installation since then connection goes down. I have called tikona technical support more than 10 times and I haven't received proper support. They said they will send an engineer to my place to rectify the issue but they did not. I have paid 2950 INR for the connection and for the first three months in advance. I got a call to my mobile from some anonymous person named Devaraj claiming him as a senior advocate for Tikona.His phone number - [protected] & his subordinate number - [protected], They were threatening me to pay the last month bill else will be filing a case to High Court in Delhi. Though I clarified them my problems that I faced & issue in the bill that I was waiting a response, but they insisted me to pay the wrong bill. This is completely an atrocious act from Tikona which is not showing interest to solve a customer grievance & taking some brutal activities to threaten the customer to get just money. After googling, I understood that this is a regular process that Tikona does to its customers. To all Tikona users, please be aware of these prank calls from Tikona to push us for making the payment how much ever you be loyal. They have these collection agents who does all third rated rubbish works. Dont worry, raise your voice towards the issue & get the right thing before proceeding.                         I got a call from same no. claiming to be Sub inspector from Sadar thana Delhi. I am planning to visit Sadar thana on monday. If it was a prank call I am going to register a case against them. Tikona has been giving me harassment calls almost every day. I have a signed document from there employee of final settlement. Still they keep on bothering me.

                        Please let me know if any one is going to file a case against them.

                        Hi All,

                        I have received calls from [protected], saying that he is an advocate in Delhi a month ago and again today I got a call from another number [protected] saying the same story again that he is an advocate in Delhi. I need to pay 1300/- odd towards my bill payment with Tikona. I have paid all the payments till the time I have used this connection and clearly got a confirmation email that the balance is zero, asked to return the equipment initially given by Tikona.

                        I have returned the equipment to the tikona's representative and got a letter as well with no dues. Now I'm receiving these prank calls from Tikona. I think it's a part of Tikona's profession to collect money even after the cancellation. Greedy . I have shouted at the person who gave me calls saying that do whatever you want to do, I'm ready to file a case against Tikona in a consumer court in Bangalore very soon.

                        So, guyz, whoever receives these prank calls, just ignore and dont worry too much about it.

                        I have received calls from [protected], saying that he is an advocate in Delhi two days ago and again today I got a call from another number [protected] saying the same story again that he is an magistrate in Delhi sessions court . I don't have to pay them a pie . I've asked them to close the connection just within three days i've got it installed (PAYING 2500). I had an argument with customer care guys and made them understand, but still they try to forcefully make me use the connection though explained them the issues i've with connection. They seems to be running a business by threatening customers to forcefully use it. There isn't a way to get rid of such guys?

                        Though explained them clearly taking my time out (Over the calls with customer care), Now I'm receiving these prank calls from Tikona. I think it's a part of Tikona's profession to collect money even after the cancellation. huh junk guys and I have shouted at the person who gave me calls. Is there something which can be done towards them and that company, who threatens and makes us frustrate rest of the day?

                        Today, I have received a call from someone claiming to be government lawyer filing case for Tikona against me for the user ID i had with tikona [protected], which he said, would be non bailable. This is pure case of extortion guys.

                        I have asked Tikona for disconnection for a long time and finally the disconnected after 2 months, took back the device, and promised me waiving of the bill since their connection was never working those days. All this happened in 2013

                        I have contacted my lawyer, and he said if we could pool together a few guys got cheated by Tikona, we can file a case under section 170 and 389 - for extortion and impersonation. Efforts from Tikona: 1. Engineer visited on 20 May (Tue) and the connection didn't even worked for 3 hours. He realigned the roof top device to the AP, earlier which your team claimed that the AP was the problem and asked for 20 days to rectify the issue. I wonder how it works !!! 2. 21 May (Wed) it worked for sometime, since then it is not working. 3. Yesterday spoke to your CC and I was told engineer will visit today. But he didn't turn up. Note: When you are not able to provide consistent connectivity, then you should rectify it. It's really a pain to get hold of your CC and after connecting, will be instructed to do the routine activity, I am really fed up with this. You people don't feel the pain but for payment, there will numerous reminder call. It would be good if the same is done to resolve the issue

                            On 24th of April 2014 I registered a request by calling Tikona customer care for the disconnection of my service as they generate a new bill on 26th of each month .I mentioned in that complain that please do not generate a new bill as I'll be leaving Bangalore by 5th of May. They Cancelled that request and gave me a reason that my cell number was not reachable which is totally wrong, I have activated miss call alerts and if my cell number is not reachable or switched off I get a miss call alert including its time and even once I got a call from their customer care it got disconnected within 15 seconds and they didn’t called me again .I thought my request is in process and waited till 28th of April. I called them on 29th of April and they said my request is cancelled and to raise one more request .I sent them one more request for disconnection on 29th but within that period (24th to 29th) they generated one more bill for the next month and I was unaware that they’ll do this thing. They disconnected it on 2nd of May. Earlier they said it takes 15 days for the disconnection but this time as they generated the bill so they disconnected it within two days by calling me and asking for immediate disconnection and I gave a nod to them. My Plan was a 4 Mbps plan and I get 80 GB under that plan. As I told you that i didn't wanted a new bill, so i mentioned this in my very first request(registered on 24th April) and the senior who was talking to me gave me full assurance that no new bill will be generated. So I used Tiokna services even after 25th till 2nd May (disconnection date) as they were providing the service and in between I used 6.5 GB of those 80 GBs (I was totally unaware that they will generate a new bill, I got to know that it was a system generated bill that they sent to me and it generates bill for the whole month).Now they are saying why did you logged in after 25th and this bill is generated because of that. I have few valid questions that I told them, Why did you give me assurance that a new bill will not be generated?? Why the senior who was talking to me didn't tell me not to log in after 25th as it will lead to a generation of new bill? And Why you cancelled my request which I registered on 24th? All these things points towards only one thing they purposefully generated a new bill so that they’ll ask for money. I told them about this and when i said I’ll not pay the whole amount and I'll pay only for what I've used by mistake (140 rupees for 6.5 GBs of 80 GB) they are saying they will take legal action against me . Still I'm not in a mood to pay them the whole amount that's why i thought it's better to register a complaint against them. Please help me to get rid of this trouble .I’m frustrated with their daily miss calls; I don’t know why they give a miss call.                               I am using tikona for the past 8months. initially it was fine but for the past 3 months the connection is very slow. not able to do even a single task using the net connection. i have raised many complaints and whenever i raise, they will send an engineer. just for resolving in time they will increase the bandwidth or does something and the connection will be fine for few days then again the problem will start. very worst connection another thing is they make us to wait for more than 10min in customer service number. very worst customer service i have ever seen Once an engineer who attempted my problem told me that they have issued more number of connection than the capacity in my area which troubles all the customers now. This clearly shows that they concentrate on money and doesnt care about customer experience. so pls dont take tikona connection very very worst connection service. never go for tikona pls my tikona user id [protected]

                                Hi, I took the Tikona broadband connection (ID [protected]) on Dec. 4, 2013 and pre-paid the 3 months of rental, total sum of Rs. 2950/-. But since then I was facing the issue of "frequent disconnection" in of my Internet. I raised several complaints and even Tikona's technical team agreed with the issue but they were not able to resolve it in next 4 months. Hence, in the end I requested Tikona to disconnect my connection and refund my pre-paid money given. Below are all the related email conversation: 1. And now since 2 days they are harassing me with the legal calls. So, I've to come to the "Consumer forum" to make the unbiased solution to this.                                     Tikona building bad image for themselves & it will suffer due to bad publicity. Tikona Subscriber Id - [protected] I was using tikona service for last 3-4 years(opted the services in 2011). I paid all the tikona bills well in time till Feb 2014(Mistake from my side - I did not ckecked the indivisual components & just paid the final bill amount every month. But this does not means that I get penalized for that & it's not a crime & I am supposed to get reimbursement of the money if I have paid extra by mistake). I had requested about the deactivation of Wi-Fi services in the past several times but even if they generate the request Id for the complaint, may be under different lable. E.g. : Request Id : 1-[protected] registered on 10th Oct 2013 at 9:18 am for reversal of Rs. 75/- agianst Wi-Fi services. Ideally it should get deactivated & further charges for the same service should not reflect in the bill, but it did not happened & it keep on reflecting in the subsequent bills till Mar 2014. It was Feb 2014, when I had some technical issue with the Internet access & I called up service engg. at my place & while conversation in general I asked him about my billing plan & he asked me show the bill copy for the reference. I provide him the bill copy & during discussion I agian asked about the Rs. 75 component in the bill to him. He subsequently called up the cust. care & replied me that, this are the Wi-Fi activation charges.I said, I am not using any Wi-Fi service & also put request for revarsal for the same some time back & don't have any device installed from tikona to use the Wi-Fi service as they have installed Nano Station(wired device installed on top of my building) at my place as the signals are very weak from wireless modem which they normally install indoor. I paid Rs. 75/- for last 24-36 month(Approx. more than Rs. 2000/-). Subsequently I put the request for Wi-Fi de-activation to tikona customer care & also put the request for reversal of the Wi-Fi charges I paid for the more than 2 years as the customer care executive said there is no record for request for deactivation or reversal in the system for which I have already mentioned in paragragh no. 2 under lable E.g.. To my disappointment from tikona I only got false promises about settlements & in reality nothing happened & kept on generating the request ID's with tikona & in system they mentioned that all the requests have been closed(resolved). They offered to wave off Rs. 75/-(1 months Wi-Fi charge waiver) from the oustanding amount.In between they deactivated my services for non payment in March 2014. I requested them to adjust the cumulative waiver amount(Rs. 2000/-) against my bill generated on 26th Feb 2014. After several follow ups with the billing dept. & repeating the whole consequences n numbers of times to every executive was really frustrating experience. And then the day came when I got reply that waivers can not be done & you have to pay the outstandings. Even I replied the same way, if you don't consider to waive of my extra money I have paid then I am not going to pay your outstanding. I did not got any call from the billing dept about resolution, but to my surprise the recovery dept was very prompt in reminding me on regular basis about my dues. I called up the customer care again to know status about my service termination & property handover process. The field executive came on 3rd May 2014 to collect the property which belongs to tikona & gave me the acknowledgement slip for the same. I received email on 5th May 2014 to my Rediffmail a/c about legal action which due to my unavailability could not checked in time & today came to know about the legal proceeding when I received call from Number +91 [protected] a lady Miss. Rekha, identified herself as an official working with a Court in Delhi. To my surprise she was very rude in her conversation while detailing me about filing an lawsuit against me worth Rs. 3041/-(Rs. 1500 for tikona property + Rs. 1540/- for oustanding bill). She asked me if I am willing to settle this outstanding? And I said I will pay it. As I already had enough suffering dealing with tikona I really did not wanted to stretch it further & hence I paid online Rs. 1540/- against my outstanding bills.I received call after I made payments & I convey the official about the same to which she replied the outstanding was Rs. 3041/- & the amount I paid was not sufficient. She also convey that despite of the payment I have made against my outstanding bills I'll have to face a law suit as I have not paid the full amount i.e. Rs. 3041/-. Logically I am not liable to pay the second part of the payment i.e. Rs. 1500/- against there property as I have already handed it over to the authorised field executive of tikona on 3rd May 2014 & got acknowledgement slip for the same. From customers perspective I paid for the services on monthly basis which I did not opted for, I did not get any reversal against that extra payment made to tikona (Approx Rs. 2000/-), my services got disconnected due to non payment of dues, still my next months bill got generated & I also paid that. Now this is totally unfair despite of all the suffering caused to me & after paying tikona's dues & after handing over your property, if still I am facing legal action then its a harassment.                                       Customer care i guess the company has changed the whole meaning of care . You buy there connection and that is when the pain start. In 3 months o[censored]sage I have got speed issue 3 times . I have 2 MBPS connection but for last two days i getting inconsistent speeds. Some times it is 900 Kbps and sometimes its 200 Kbps. I have tried calling customer care for 6 times . But they have standard answer that you must have exhausted you speed limit which i haven't . I have renewal of service on 26 May 2014. But now i am mulling to opt for disconnection . Subscriber Id : [protected] People beware . If you are looking for better service buy GTPL or sify connection

                                      Now there is new twist. Till now i was able to use 3 or more device simultaneously on wi-fi . Now all of sudden i am not able to connect more than 2 device. I made a call to the customer care and told my problem . They told me you cannot connect more that 2 devices to your wifi router. i was using more than 3 connection for almost 2.5 months. Seriously i have got sick of tikona and there service and have decided to go for disconnection . I have already raised a request for the same.

                                        I had been using Tikona way before and my user id was [protected]. I had submitted what ever these people had provided us but then i received a call from the office of their so called legal advisor stating that they are filing a case against me for a sum amount of 1700 which is no where in the picture. When i asked the details they said that the amount is for the modem which was returned almost 2 months back these didn't have track on their people and now are asking me for the details and telling me that i am keeping their modem. Please tell me what will i do with their modem. I wanted a relieve from these and their mental harrassment,
