Hi,
I took the
Tikona broadband connection (ID
[protected]) on Dec. 4, 2013 and pre-paid the 3 months of rental, total sum of Rs.
2950/-. But since then I was facing the issue of "frequent
disconnection" in of my Internet. I raised several complaints and even Tikona's
technical team agreed with the issue but they were not able to resolve it in
next 4 months. Hence, in the end I requested Tikona
to disconnect my connection and refund my pre-paid money given. Below are all
the related email conversation:
1. First payment received by Tikona
on 4th Dec. 2013 of Rs.
2, 950/-
With reference to the TT no. 1-[protected] raised on Tikona
broadband User ID [protected].
2. First "Frequent disconnection" complaint registered to Tikona
Customer care on 30th Dec. 2013.

4. Then on March 11, 2014, I wrote below to Tikona
CC:
"One more time I want to remind you guys that my Internet is still not
working fine. My customer id is [protected].
You already have the history of my all registered complaints. So, I'm not doing
the complaint now and even not looking for the resolution. As I already
requested couple of times to have my money back (which I pre-paid 3 months
back) for the obvious reason that "Internet service provided to me was
really bad and even after so many complaints it was not resolved". And
needless to say, I'm not going to pay the recently generated bill too."
5. On March 24, 2014, I again wrote:
"As mentioned in the email above and conversation over the telephone with
the customer care executive for couple of times that my issues is still not
resolved (Customer id: [protected]). And I'll
not pay the current bill till this
thing
get resolved. Now I'm getting multiple calls a day asking for the payment and
today a guy from Tikona
personally comes to home asking for the payment. I can't abide this. So, if you
think you cannot resolve this issue, please do DISCONNECT & TERMINATE my
connection. I don't need it anymore and return my money of the last
quarter."
6. I myself removed the Tikona
line from my apartment and stopped using their connection from March 30, 2014.
7. On April 24, 2014, once again I wrote:
"Once again, I got a call from Tikona
customer care regarding the "payment due" for my Tikona
account (Customer ID: [protected]). In past 1 month, I requested several times
for the disconnection of my Tikona
account
and even I got the verbal confirmation for the same from you side. Then why,
still the account is active at your end and I'm getting these calls?
Hence, here again I'm writing in formal to disconnect my Tikona
account (Customer ID: [protected]) and I'm not responsible for any payments
which are pending or any future bills. For more reference, please follow all of
the
previous
complaints/request I did in last 3-4 months!
Thanks."
So, finally they disconnected my connection but now demanding me to pay the
outstanding amount of Rs.1326.66/-.
But over the phone and through email I already discussed that "Why should
I pay this amount when Tikona
should have refund me the money I pre-paid to them because of their awful
service".
And now since 2 days they are harassing me with the legal calls.
So, I've
to come to the "Consumer forum" to make the unbiased solution to
this. As Rs.
1326.66/- is not a big amount for someone to pay-off but why should I pay for
their really bad Internet service and customer support. Hoping for a resolution
to this soon.
