I, took the connection of Tikona for its Broadband services at Varanasi, at Ganesh Dham Colony in Uttar Pradesh on 4th June 2016 for which I paid Rs 1900 as a 3 months subscription amount against my user id-[protected] to a person named Sunny Singh for which he did not gave me any Bill at that very point of time but noted down my email address i.e.[protected]@gmail.com incorrectly as a result of which I did not receive my bill for which I had made the payment(i.e.Rs.1816 as mentioned earlier. But I received SMS alert at my registered mobile no against the payment made to Mr. Sunny Singh. Later I corrected my email id but did not get the bill. I used the connection only till 3rd July 2016 since I moved back to my present address in Kolkata West Bengal. So, then I gave a request for closing my service at the Tikona Customer care, they told me that they will transfer my connection to my new address in Kolkata since already 3 month subscription is paid towards them. I was asked to take the cable wires which were provided by Tikona for my connection purpose along with me to my Kolkata address where the tikona guys from Kolkata will come for the re-installation purpose. No device or modem was assigned solely for me to use which they later demanded to return. After, I wrote several times to Tikona for reinstallation in my Kolkata home after I reached Kolkata on 3rd July, a guy from Tikona came to my present address in Kolkata to check whether installation can be done in my new address or not after visiting my home, he said that connection will not be possible here due to connectivity issues. Hence, I wrote several email to Tikona customer care to close my account along with taking back the cable wires from my present address which was given to them and refund me my 2 moths subscription amount since I used the service only for 1 month. But I received no reply from their end. After some days in September, I received 3-4 emails from Tikona to return the modem/device to which I replied that I am not in possession of any such device or modem, since another connection was drawn and utilised by family members living in that building.But I never got any reply from them. Then in November I received an email from Tikona with a final bill mentioning amount due Rs.1043 to which I replied that I should be refunded 2 months subscription totaling to Rs 1200/- instead they are asking me to pay Rs, 1043 as a modem/device cost which I had mentioned to them several times that it is obviously not with me. But I got no reply from their end to settle or address this issue seriously which has been long pending. After this on 2nd January I started to receive threat call from Tikona from 3 mobile nos. [protected], [protected] and [protected] threatening abusing me with dire consequences if I do not make the payment of Rs. 1043.I reported the incident to Tikona Appellate Authority against a docket no. 1-[protected]. Henceforth, settle the issue at the earliest so that Tikona pays me my due refund and also strict action should be taken against Tikona for verbally abusing me and harassing me like this over the phone by employing agents as a ploy to siphon the money from me unjustifiedly.

Updated by debhattacherjee I think one who has replied does not understand English at all & should take proper education so as to understand what is meant when written in English apart from other reasons such as to become a honest person & stop misdeeds & rectifying it before replying to any customer's grievances. What money of Rs.943/- you are asking from my end???I am supposed to get a refund of 1200 as a subscription for 2 months since I had utilized the services only for 1 month & paid Rs.1900 as a subscription charge for 3 month.Now you are asking me to pay Rs. 943/-!!!What a business strategy dude!!!If you think you are going to get away like this by harassing, threatening people over the phone to pay unjustified amounts by hiring goons & recovery agents, then you are very much wrong.Mend your ways of doing business & really try to be a better human being.

I contacted the Toll free no.[protected] and the support person denied the support and disconnected the call on yesterday 17:59.
This is like looting the customer with out any support...
