I was using Tikona broadband and was forced to disconnect it in November 2016 owing to very frequent internet issues. Despite the poor service that they had provided I continued to pay their bills in advance. And now as I have stopped using the service they are asking me to pay the bill for the service that I have not actually used( I informed them of disconnection a week before their plan was to end and stopped using their service).Tikona is only harassing its customers by not providing the promised service and demanding unjust money. I must say that Tikona is a fraud company.

    Dear sir

    I am using tikona broadband (User id : [protected]) for last 4-5 years (From 2012) under 6 months advance payment post paid plan of 1 mbps speed... But issues of connectivity were always there with tikona throughout but still i continued as no other wired option was available in my prime area of chennai -600001.. As airtel was running to full capacity...
    As i was regularly facing difficulties the tikona service engineer to visited my place suggested that i go for a higher speed plan of 4 mbps in pre paid... I asked him to assign the person to change the plan for which he said that new user id will be provided as it is pre paid one time payment plan for 60 gb... The user id was changed and i got speed of around 2.5 -3.0 mbps.. And i also mailed the tikona customer care before my due date to close my old user id... But they have charged even after due date for which i have not used and are regularly calling and mailing with legal action... I am still tikona user and using pre paid but they are asking for payments as disconnection takes 15 days in their end so they want 15 day rent...
    Kindly help in this regard as this demand is unjust and always the regular calls are giving mental tension.. And help thousands of subscribers of tikona internet who have to face this hardship...

      My name is Mr Raj Kumar Pandey and I am submitting this complaint to inform you that I have talked to tikona digital networks a number of time and told them to deactivate my internet on 21st December but they are not responding. You can check our bills date and we have submitted the whole bill on time as the bill of tikona is advance. We had talked with the senior of Tikona Digital Networks but his response in regards of deactivation of net is very poor and he doesn't deactivated our net.
      Tikona networks our sending us message for due bill on our registered mobile number and I am not using this internet service from the date of 21st December. So I am not responsible for the bill of Tikona as I had submitted all my bill, and it's my humble request to Tikona networks for the deactivation of my internet services.         We were asked for tickona’s broad band connection to our office which located in the above address through your staff – sathish kumar. u (accountant manager) ([protected]) in the month of september. after few days of oral conversation through the phone, sathish visited our office and promised broad band connection and collected a amount of rs. 14, 950 (fourteen thousand nine hundred and fifty rupees only) though a cheques (000175 – karur vyshya bank, purasawalkam branch) dated 05/10/16, which was passed and settled. and after that visit, mr. sathish haven’t made any try or attempt to install the broad band connection which he said he will install it on the consecutive day while collecting the cheque. and on 12/10/16, he called us that the connection is not viable at our location and there will be refund of the whole amount and it will take refund process of one week. after 10 days when we called about the refund he is totally ignored our calls. and each and every time when we call from other numbers he picked the call and gave us absconding reply by extending the refund time. after 3 month of such replies to when i called him today morning and he made an unreasonable and bullying statement with abusive language that we never haven’t expect from a mnc company like yours.
        At first why your staff promise a connection and got a cheque without checking feasibility and which he said it’s not possible in later stage, and how come a refund is completely depend on a irresponsible person whom am dealing with right now. please make a immediate response and make arrangement for the refund of the same. i would be very grateful to you if you could do the needful at the earliest as it is nearly three months that we have not received our payment back. i would be obliged if you look into the matter personally and arrange my refund at the earliest.

          Tikona is totally fraud, money minded and not serious for their quality and customers .I've faced lot of weird issues in tikona connection and can't describe in words .Usually tikona connection works only thrice a week or once a day(only for some hours).They have bunch of excuses for every complaint .I didnt got resolution in my 8 months of experience with tikona.

          After totally frustrating with tikona, i've decided to stop this pathetic connection .When i call to tikona to stop my connection they tried every single way to convence me but i refused and ask them to stop the connection .I've cleared every single billing amount with tikona .Now the scenario is, they've generated a unusual bill of rs 650/- and due to continuous penalties it, become outstanding amount of Rs. 1210.48.

          I've also talked with them about this issue but they said " Our Systems showing usage from your side." .But how it is possible because 1 week i've requested them to stop it, probably they have compromised the account.Even i switched to another broadband at the same week.

          I've already faced lot of difficulties with tikona connection and compromised with my business .Im totally depend over internet and their poor service ruined my business for whole 4 months.Every time i thought that i was wrong but actually they agents are fully trained with their excuses .

          Now they are threatening me with their increasing unusual amount and forcing me to pay it .Sending me continuous email and calling me for the same.

          Please help me, ive no clue what to do...

            Tikona is charging money even after disconnecting the connection.and the customer care officer told me that you raised complain for disconnect but we can't do anything if it is charged, because in their system the amount is displaying.and when I ask for clarification they disconnect the call and now they are not receiving my call.

            So shall I go to consumer court for this nonsense thing.or shall I file a fraud case in nearest police station . kindly suggest, because I think they are not ready to resolve the problem.

              I have tried calling you number to times to speak to you guys through mails, calls, i had requested a disconnection long back, i have all the mails even the bad quality, suspension alert, you promised speed of 3mps and above and if we go and check the records its not even 1 mps and most of the time connection could not be established despite that i paid all the bills, now you guys are harassing me by continously making calls from unknown numbers, a lady calls me stating she is advocate varsha thakur, sits in civil court chamber no 7. When asked about tikona she says she has no knowledge.

                They always give me message like that. But few days later i got bill. This kind of ticona trends going on and they start internet and give me bill. If i m not pay. There advocate threaten me (Give me dhamki) to give money. I was paying then and they said u never get bill. But again i get bill.
                What will i do. I live in bangalore and i m doing job. It is possible for me to handell that situation by going to delhi. My ticona connection is in delhi.
                One more problem is come. When they didnt start internent they charges 100 rupees and it go increased by panelti dues +100.
                I m really frustrated with this mistake to choose ticona.in my hone i have another connection of internent. There is no point to use ticona services

                  I had terminated my connection back in Jan 2016. Even after that they have been sending me bills and charging me. I have paid my dues for the settlement so that I dont receive any more bills. But I am still getting bills. What non sense is this. Please let me know how I can escalate this.

                    Greetings Team Pehredar,

                    First of all I'd like to thank your entire team for doing such good work for those consumers who are either defrauded by companies or humiliated by the companies. You the people are doing such a great work.

                    My complaint is about non response of the above mentioned company. In June 2016, one of the executive of the company sold me a plan of 4MBPS speed and 80GB data every month by taking advance payment of Rs. 2680/- for three months and assured me that at any point of time if I am not satisfied with services I'll be refunded all of my money after deducting internet using period (my user id was [protected], in the name of Dinesh Jain, Address: 51/53-A, Street No.16, New Basti, Anand Parbat, New Delhi-05). But on very much starting I was facing connectivity problem also internet speed problem. I appraised the company about the same so many times but every time i was assured for proper resolution of the problem but nothing was done by the company at last I requested them to refund my all money after deducting 7 days charges (my internet using period). I was assured for the same that i'll get my entire money back by August 2016 by way of cheque but nothing has been done so far by the company and now they are refusing to refund back my money.

                    It is requested you to plz look into the matter and do the needful. Also bring the thing once on TV so that other people can protect themselves from this fraud company.

                      I have paid full amount & terminated my connection, but still receiving threat call from these number[protected], [protected], if these are not tikona no. still my mob no. & other information are either hacked which pulls in consumer protection or either they are goons hired by tikona for collection.

                      I have receipts of final payment against user id & facebook conversation for full & final settlement accepted by tikona.

                        I had applied for a corporate connection for my office with 10 MBPS line. They have installed the tower and cable work. Till date they have not activated the connection. The account manager Mr. Tanay Shashi (tanay.[protected]@tikona.co.in) is not answering my calls anymore. Upon contacting Mr. Vijay (vijay.[protected]@tikona.in) he is giving lame excuses to push the technical team visit on 03/1/2017. Where as the tower and cabling was done 8-10 days before, just to activate the connection they need additional week. Being in corporate business industry waiting for a day is also a major loss for me. And waiting for 25+ days for getting an internet connection is way too unacceptable.

                        I wish to see an immediate action on this or the consequences for the delay and mental trauma faced shall be held against tikona.

                          I raised a request to close my Tikona connection on 20th Dec 2016 both by email and phone. They have not closed the account so far (today's date[protected]. There is existing balance in my account that I had paid in advance, which will cover January month also. They have auto renewed my account for Jan month also in spite of giving notice for closing connection in advanc. Not only that they are refusing to refund the remaining amount (Rs 515). The people who are calling me refuse to reply to this, but rather talk a different subject of how they have different plans and how it is better than other Broadband services or keep drilling me why I want to close connection. So far 6 people have called me without any conclusion and it is mental harassment.

                            In my previous complain i have stated about my problem im facing a problem with tikona broadband. I want to highlight few more problems im facing at this current moment. Since last 2 days i have been mentally tortured through calls. A person who claimed to be a lawyer called me & threaten me to pay the outstanding balance. Again he called me today with the same number. I mailed them many time regarding the disconnect but in return i got only this message "dear customer we thank you for writing to us.
                            Your online request number is 1-[protected]" etc etc
                            I have been doing this since 6th october till yesterday for the 3rd time.
                            What shocked me most is that i got zero responses even calling their toll free number. They just received the call and doesn't response.
                            Their voice support even called me and forced me to transfer my account to my relatives or friend despites of saying no to them many times. Tell me this is not a harresment?

                                I have sent an email in oct 6/16 at 1:16 pm for disconnection but instead of receiving disconnection mail i keep on receiving the fake bill with with extra 100 rupees every month. As per telecom regulatory authority of india (Trai) any connection provider cannot charge after the disconnection request is made. The root of my problem begins in june when i made a request for termination to their customer support. They convinced me to put my account on hold for 2 months, so i did it because, they told me its free of cost so i agreed with them. But when i came to pune after my summer vacation i was charged with a fake bills they told me 5 rupees is chargeble for 1 day (24 hours) to keep an account on hold. I was not told by the customer support about the charges, when i was about to made a request to terminate my account. If i knew that 'to hold an account is a trap i would have send an email regarding the termination in june only before i left pune for the vacation, because their service is pathethic and worst of worst service i have faced in my life'. From july 17 /16 i have stopped using their service. Tikona is generating fake bills from the mid of july. I have received enough calls from tikona voice support. I'm fed up by their haressment and above all today i have received another threatening calls from lawyer who claimed to be from delhi and told me to clear my outstanding bills otherwise he will send me to delhi civil court. Tikona is haressing me mentally. Please help me.

                                  Its been 8 month and still tikona digital network is not refunded my money.
                                  As we paid money in advance for 3 month but due to poor network and worst service, we disconnected the sonnection before completion of 3 month.

                                  And the same discussed over phone and asking for money refund.Initialy the customercare people were trying to convience for providing proper service, then they approach extra 1 month subscription free instead of paying 500RS, but later they denied and also threatened me while I am asking for money.

                                    my first 3 months bill in advance and installed my connection, from day first, I had to call my customer service everyday for speed problems, it goes till 3rd month, and at 3rd month end, my connection got disconnected, I called them regarding problems, they told we will solve it, but no one turn up, then they simply sending my forth month bill, which I don't have connection, I called them nearly 4 to 5 times, they just ask all my problems and tell me a simple answer, we will speak to our high official and give a call back, after all this they sending me now 5th month bill, and sending me advocate letter, please, anyone help me with solving this ?

                                        Hi,
                                        My consumer is[protected], since 12th dec the internet connection is not working. I had raised complaint and post 18th dec onwards has made multiple calls and mails but they are not attended the issue yet. They keep asking 24hrs timeline to resolve the issue but no improvement.
                                        This is really bazaar service and they not at all attentive towards customer need, just keep saying we will waive off the bill. I have not taken connection of bill waive off, it is more for my work and convenience which they failed to provide.

                                        I would like to register complaint against them for pathetic customer care and wasting my time for followup. There failure has resulted impact on my work schedule and has impacted me commercially.
