Hello Team,

I am very disappointed by the way Tikona treats its customers.

Let me describe the whole incident. I took this connection and used it for 6 months. After 6 months i decided to close / cancel this connection, as I was getting a better plan on a cheaper rates with good speed. I called up the customer care and gave a request to cancel the connection. I was transferred to a senior engineer who convinced me to not to cancel the connection but to temporarily keep it on hold / suspended on a daily charge of 3 rupees per day for 90 days / 3 months, so that if later I decide to use Tikona again, it will be easier to re-enable the connection.

2 weeks back I got a bill of 1400 rupees and when I called the customer care to confirm as to why I was billed 1400 rupees, they informed that the connection got activated after 30 days (instead of 90 days) and hence billed for the same. They took the complaint and I got a waiver of 700 rupees.

I fail to understand that as per 3 rupees per day i should be billed 300 rupees and not more than that as the usage is 0kb. I am not going to pay any amount more than what I am supposed to pay and I am ready to make the payment of 300 rupees.

I also gave a request to cancel the connection, for which I have not received any update yet, where it was supposed to be cancelled in 4 hours.

Kindly look into the matter seriously and revert back to this email as soon as possible to avoid me taking this up the escalation level.

I had a Tikona connection in Bangalore which was disconnected in August 2016.

I have received call today from Tikona Digital Networks Pvt.Ltd. Advocate (Nidhi Sharma) (MOBILE NO-[protected]) of Delhi Civil Court of filing a case against me for not paying false bill received from Tikona. She said if i do not make the payment within 1 hour she will put up the case and i will have to come to Delhi along with my lawyer to fight the case.

After 1 hour, i got a call again from same number and Nidhi Sharma provided me with my court case # Bmcvlc8802/2017.

The connection was taken in Bangalore, how come the case is in Delhi?

@Tikona official: Could you guys please take a look into this.

Same case happen with me in Mumbai when I told them to disconnect my connection. They ask me to pay the bill which I did and then over phone they told your request for disconnect has been taken... Still every month I used to get calls from them for payment for bill 2000k for internet which I did not used for almost 6 months.
Lastly some lawyer calls me and tells me failing to pay the bill he will put a case against me in the court.

I dont know what Tikona was trying to do with customers.

If we ask them to disconnect the service they come up with all BS reasons which are not acceptable at all.

Please take this matter seriously and revert at the earliest.

If required I can share my user id too.

    Hello u Tikona fraud isp bastards I complained about my net speed last month that I goes down to 7-30kbps speed from 480kbps during evening time n now isp disconnects in evening r by 7 r 8 n does not connect back.       i paid for speed boost recharge of worth rs 100, which it got activated in few minutes, i got text message regarding same, but the speed was same 512kbps, 4mpbs speed boost was activated but i was getting the speed of 512kbps.

        Hello Sir, I am a Tikona broadband user. My user id is [protected]. I made a request to terminate the connection on 8th June 2016. After waiting for 3 months I got final settlement on 19th September 2016. And in the final settlement bill they are applying late payment charges.! The last bill before requesting termination was on 7th June, and bill value is Rs 805, which I have already paid. But they are saying since this bill was due on 22nd June, and I did not pay by that time, so I have to pay late payment charges.
        But I did not pay the bill because I had sent a termination request and their customer care said that 'they will send a final settlement, and after getting final settlement I should pay the bill'.
        On one hand Tikona delayed the final settlement by 3 months, and on top of that they are applying late payment charges to the last bill. Is this justified sir? Further now they are threatening with legal action by sending threatening mails. Please help me. Regards, Shibashis Deb

          Hello,

          I am complaining about Tikona Digital Networks, I have taken a connection on the 27th of September 2016 where I took a plan of 4 MBPS. Since the time I had taken the connection I never got the desired speed. I have made multiple complaints to the technical team and they keep telling there is a tower issue. I had multiple engineers visit my home to fix the issue, however, there is no resolution.

          I have received calls from the technical team at weird time like 1AM at night to check the connection, I have tried to cooperate by checking the connection speed, however, there is no improvement.

          After a lot of effort when I tried to get the number disconnected, the company rejects to give me a refund of the money.

          I understand that even writing here will not help in any way or form, but just keeping on the records that this company is cheating on people and of no benefit.

            I had requested your authorities in JUNE 2016 to terminate my connection with ID- [protected]. I had asked them at that time regarding any dues to be paid to which they replied in negation. (my account was already put on hold from 7th JUNE 2016. And i requested them for termination around 23 JUNE.On the same day. i recommended my connection to MR. DIPU SINGH after getting request from your side you. Also i was instructed to leave the accessories of your company with him as your staff would visit to provide him the connection.
            Payments up to 7JUNE were cleared in full.) Then i received a mail from you regarding my dues in JULY 2016 regarding my outstanding amount. I do not know what was the reason asking for payment when i did not use my net after 7 JUNE 2016 and connection was transferred to new customer so replied back on [protected]@tikona.in .
            Then i got a threatening call from your lawyer from the number ([protected]) on 17 OCTOBER asking me to pay till 11.15 am or he will go to court. then he made me talk to your company. finally, i paid an amount RS. 831 on the same date as i have more import work to do than attending court. (although it was not justified.). Finally i got my confirmation mail that my account is terminated on OCT 17 AND OCT 20.

            But it states that I need to pay rs. 1500 fo acessories etc. When the connection was alredy transferred to MR DIPU SINGH through your company so the accesories were already handed over to him as per your instruction then why are you asking for 1500 rupees . please check your records and revert back.
            Sir is the way to behave with your customer. Direct calling and threatening for money. I was shocked by this behaviour of yours.
            I am not laible to pay rs. 1500 as accessories were returned to you through your new customer MR. DIPU SINGH, ROOM NO 11 BEGUMPUR VILLAGE NEW DELHI 110017. PLEASE FOR GODS SAKE DONT DISTURB ME BY SENDING SENDING THREATENING MAILS .

              Threatening for bill to pay | Service ID – [protected]
              My customer ID of tikona is [protected]
              I had called multiple times to tikona in march 16 for discontinuing my broadband services. I am using tikona since 2014.
              Last month I was called by Tikona and asked to pay some Rs.1500 which according to me is not payable by me.
              Again today I was threatened by some advocate of Tikona (Priyanka [protected]) to pay money or face serious consequences.
              I once again urge Tikona to avoid such unethical practices. If in case, inspite of my request you have not closed my services I urge to discontinue services with immediate effect.
              I have already mailed this officially to Tikona on 29th Sep and many times on telephone before.

                I have taken new conection of Tikona on 19th oct 2016. I wanted plan of 60 GB for Rs. 1000.

                But you have activated plan of 300 rs per month. then after conversation with customer care engineer, he told me to pay Rs. 650 for installation charges then only plan can be converted.

                so i paid 650 rs. and my plan was also changed.

                but according to your plan, there is no installation charges for 1000 plan. I request you to refund my Rs. 650.

                because from your side only you have activated 300 rs plan though i said about 1000 rs plan.

                I request you to see into this issue.

                    From[protected] to till now i am not getting any services. I am complain several times. But tikona customar care are not supported me. They are not give me any solve. Then i tell them-please cut my connection. They donot reponse for this. I am using the internet hardly 1month. I said this problem to the customer attendent. He assure me problem would be solved. No extra charge will be payable when your internet is not going rightly. Now they are not responding. Send me a message that my problem is solve and send me a bill.                       I have installed tikona broadband connection at my home on 23/09/12. After that tikona is not providing the services as commitment prior. After contact with customer service my problem was not sorted out. I have applied to terminate my connection before start of next billing cycle but did not received any feedback regarding the same. So kindly take appropriate action against so they will not bluff with any other customers. I want termination of my tikona connection as soon as possible before22/10/16.

                        I have closed tikona broadband connection on 22nd july 2016 and also got a acknowledgement mail from tikona for the same as i have shifted from that house on 20th july 2016.
                        Now i am getting calls and messages from tikona for paying bills for the usage happening till date. I called tikona customer care, they say sir you are using the connection till now, i told them how it is possible?
                        I have shifted from that place also i have closed the connection.
                        They don’t have a answer and say its showing you are using.

                            I've been receiving calls from Narendra Kalra's Office about my Tikona Bill which as per them is due. I was a customer and due to no connectivity I'd asked them to close the connection and had sent a mail with all voice recording to their call center but all in vein. After 2 months a person called Mohammed Waseem Khan from Narendra Kalra's Office called and asked me to make a payment for 2 months within 30 mins otherwise he will hamper my CIBIL scores and file a criminal case and all my Govt Id's will be blocked. He was extermly rude and not ready to listen to what was the case. When I asked office address he become aggressive and told me that he will take all possible actions to ensure that I get affected the worst as possible. Whoever this person is representing Narendra Kalra's Office should not be entertained and Narendra Kalra's Office should have some educated people to listen and then make statements and stop Threatening people. I have all documents and voice calls made to Tikona to cancel my subscription but they have not done it. So its their fault.

                                I was a customer with Tikona Digital Networks, User ID ([protected]). I have been communicating with them since Feb 2016 regarding over charging on my account. I ahve sent them a break up notifying that I have paid approx INR 250 more than what Everytime in mail and call they have agreed to look into the issue. Later they stop responding to email. After few months I received an email stating that they have sent my case to their legal team. I have responded to the mail detailing that the mail is incorrect. So basically it means that Tikona didn't communicate with me on the issue or addressed my emails before forwarding to legal cell.

                                Now this is incorrect handling of the case. Till date I have records of all emails and also few telephonic conversations I had. now sure how to communicate with Tikona.

                                Over and above that I received a threating call today. Now if someone is not ready to talk even before escalation of issue how can one communicate or reslove

                                  I was with Tikona somewhere till mid-2014. and my Billing Account Number[protected]. After having numerous problems with disconnection and slow speed from Tikona, They refused to compensate. Every other day, they kept saying their servers are down and it will be available after 24 hrs. without any proper service, they still charged the full amount and while we were in between of compensation discussion. They removed and cut their internet cables of their WIFI router from the premises, without speaking to me. I had to finally disconnect my internet. Their technicians collected their device later from the house. I had a higher plan and always had been paying to them without any problems.

                                  Few months later someone name Gupta from Delhi Hazari court contacted me over the phone in 2015. Stating the case has been filed and I'm supposed to make the payment within 2 hours of 1646 or they I'll be summoned to Delhi court. He kept threatening me, I told him what happened but he never bothered to listen. There was no formal written notice. They kept calling for 2 months and then they kept sending messages to my phone about the payment. I had already paid the deposit and was on prepaid plan. Also they never succeeded to provide a proper service.

                                  Today they have sent a threating email to me, To make the payment within seven days or they will put a legal case against me. I never Thought Tikona broadband will harass their customers even though, they never provided any good service or compensated for it.

                                        I had been using tikona internet connection from last year, but due to pathetic services and slow speeds, decided to disconnect my connection. I raised a request on october 5, following which i settled the due which the customer service asked me to do. However instead of terminating my connection, they have instead changed the status to rental stopped, and are trying to make me resume the connection as they are blackmailing by saying i am still using it (I have disconnected the device and am no longer using their service) each time i call the consumer care number, they are avoiding my queries about the disconnection and termination email and instead are saying that they have stopped the rental and want me to restart the devices. Each time after complaining they say to wait for 24 hours, 2 days, 3 days to get the disconnection however they refuse to follow up and instead send misleading messages to my number and email.                                         This doesn't address my complaint at all. I don't want my rental to be stopped, I want my whole account to be disconnected once and for all and for termination letter with acknowledgement.

                                        Everyone please note the above behavior from Tikona, instead of listening to the complaint and disconnecting the service, they change the plan to rental stopped and blackmail the customer to resume the service by sending warning sms like:

                                        "Your Tikona account is charged 5paise/MB @ 4Mbps.Since you are using the service, we suggest you move to old plan to avoid high billing.Call[protected] immdly."

                                        Greetings from Tikona.

                                        We would like to inform you that we have addressed your service disconnection request and on the basis of your request we have stopped charging you rentals for the service. If you wish you may still use the services anytime in future, you will be charged 5 Paisa / MB (excluding tax) with speed up to 4Mbps.

                                        Consumer Complaints, can you make a note of this. Second time replying on this site by NOT TERMINATING and changing to rental stopped only. Surely there has to be a legal recourse I am entitled to??
