On 26 june 2016 near, i requested tikona customer care to shift my connection to new places, but they did not shifted even after following up with them for 15 days. Then on 11 july 2016, i sent an email & requested to disconnect the connection. But they did not closed it. Then i got bill including next month which i had not used it all. (Attached image of email)
Then i started getting calls regularly from tikona, every time i requested them to adjust the bill and send the updated bill to me, iso that i could pay it. But they didnot sent me the updated bill. Then next i got a mail regarding legal notice. Immediately i called to tikona senior customer care, and spoke him regarding my concern it seems he understood my concern, but nothing changed and also sent written concern over the mail to tikona dated 17th sep 2016 (Attached),. Even still i was getting calls from them. Matters came to the same point where it started.

Today 17th oct 2016, i got call from some advocate that, tikona, has filled a legal case against me in session court in delhi, and told me it could be resolved if i pay the rs[protected] + 700 (Some penality), so i paid the amount and requested him to close the matter here and ensure connection should get closed.

After that, to verify the status of connection of tikona, i called to tikona customer care, he said my connection is active, i asked him how my connection can be active since my connection is in suspended state from july 2016. Then i asked him to close the connection, he forwarded the call to senior, now a girl picked the phone, she tried to persuade me to continue the connection, but i refused and i said that now i have deposited all the pending amount, connection should now get closed.

I am not sure /believe, they will close it or not, thats why i have written here complaint, to close the connection.
She has given me request id :1-[protected].

The better resolution would be if they deduct 4 days usage of my internet from 27 to 30 june, refund the remaining which i have deposited today 17th oct 2016.

    I m not getting solution to my complaints nor any compenstaion..

    This is the worst thing i faced with tikona service and would see that other people would also not use tikona service as the great harresment is done by customer care.

      Hi,
      I had requested for disconnection on 19 July, 2015 after month of poor service and not able to fix frequent internet problem (Not able to connect to internet) and stopped using your services since then.

      I received a bill of Rs 1604. for the period of 7th July to 6th Aug. While Tikona do billing on advance rental basis i.e. on 7th Aug, I got bill for period of (7th Aug to 6th Sep, 15). When I am not using your service for this period why should I pay for that? Though I already asked for disconnection and stopped using the same immediately. Instead of resolving the issue they keep sending me bill each month and keep increasing the due amount. Recently they send me an email of due amount around of RS 2490.

      As per TRAI, After disconnection request raised by customer connection should be terminated within 7 days. So, I am not bound to pay you the full month rental i.e. 7th July to 6th Aug, 15 and for 7th Aug to 6 sep, 15 when I have not used your service. You can check your database record.

      This reflects very poor image of Tikona as on one side. I keep getting threat call and message on my register number and email Id. Whenever, I called on your customer care number we only get automated response of callback which never happened.

      Request you to please do settlement for my account[protected] and user Id: [protected].

      Call me at my number for settlement and collection of Payment and CPE along with NOC. Otherwise, I would not hesitate to approach consumer court for harassment and threat with all the written proofs I have and record of payment have done over period of time.

          Tikona helpless service. worst internet service provider. could not provide ticket resolution to 1-[protected], 1-[protected]. they are ruthless, insensitive service providers who do not know how to respond to customer requests. recharged bbgolden voucer1000 rs, 50gb unlimited validity for customer id [protected] on 10th of october.

          On the same day of recharging (10th october), we sent the email also saying that portal is not updated with our new plan and data usage left. we waited for their response and kept on using the service. 5 days later they disconnected the service saying that rs1000 is over while we downloaded data at 10 p/mb. when we called them they gave weird excuses - we don't manage emails, you should have called us to tell us that we need to update our database/ recharge the account again with more money etc.

          The service is pathetic because we also have to raise ticket every two-three days to complain about frequent disconnection. the support desk, backend team, purchase team keep transferring the blame on each other. the support desk person is mr shah rukh, his supervisor kiran satpute, satyajit are some of the persons who are part of all this scam tikona has been in running.

            My Tikona Id is [protected]
            I was a Tikona Customer for past 2-3 years. On 23 May 2016 I stop using their services & informed them to terminate the connection. As I was using a Prepaid Connection, I asked Customer Care Executive whether is there any due which I have to pay before they terminate the connection. They told me that there is no due & my Connection will be terminated within 7 days & they are suspending my connection & I will be charged 5p/mb if I use the connection. I haven't used the Connection from 23rd May 2016 to till date i.e. 15 October 2016. But on 1st July 2016 I received a Mail from Tikona that my request has been closed & I have to pay only If I used the plan. But every month I got a SMS & e-mail of an overdue amount from Tikona which was 388.5 in July & in October it turns out to be 688.5. Around 2 months back I got a Call from Accounts Department of Tikona stating that a Amount of Rs, 488.5 is due & I have to pay it or else I have to face legal action from their side. I told them that I am not using their services anymore. They told me that they don't know anything & I have to pay the dues which I dont owe. Still I recieve SMS & E-mail from their side for overdue amount which tends to increase every month.It's a clear mental harrasment for me from their side.
            A prompt response will be highly appreciable.

              My Tikona Details: (BAN –[protected] & Service ID – [protected]).
              I also have another Tikona Account which I actively use.

              I have been requesting Tikona to disconnect my services since August, 2016.
              However, the line is still not disconnected. When I asked Tikona about it, they said I need to pay the due amount and the line will be disconnected. However, in the bills they sent, it is clearly written that once I pay the dues, the line will be REACTIVATED (which I do not want) and will Not be Disconnected (which is what I want). So, I have asked TIkona to send a written mail or Message (SMS) stating my wish to disconnect. Because then I can pay the due amount and be rest assured that the line will be disconnected after that.

              But all Tikona can do is Verbally assure me that the line will be disconnected once payment is done. But Verbal assurance is not enough, I have told them more than 20 times on phone, more than 5 times on Email (Email is never replied till date). Every time I email Tikona, they get back to me through a phone call and Tikona keeps repeating their 'song' : "Please give us a chance, please do not disconnect, may I know the reason for disconnection? We will give you waiver, please continue using". And my response overtime is the same : "I do not need the connection, please disconnect".

              I have many reasons for disconnection:
              1. Financial problems
              2. I have shifted location and no longer need the extra connection (I already have another Tikona connection registered with my email and with a different address)
              3. Many times the connection dies and I have to call them (connection usually is fixed in 1-2 days), but happens often which is kind of frustrating. However, this is not the main reason, so even if they improve the connection, I do not need it anyways.

              So, when I call up Tikona customer care[protected], and I go to Billing Department, then when I ask about disconnection, I am taken to Senior Desk, where the concerned person asks the same question (reason for disconnection) and asks if I want to continue if they give discount. After endless phone calls, I managed to get one of the senior executives to open a Disconnection Request (Request ID:[protected] on around 7th October, 2016. The concerned person said that the disconnection request would be resolved within 2-3 days. After three days, I got no mail or message or anything regarding the Reference:[protected], so I called Tikona again and this time another person took the call and said he will create another Request (which goes over my head, why they need to create multiple requests). This time he said it would take around 7 days to resolve (Disconnection Request). I asked why so much time, he said we will be gathering details and data, so need 7 days (Again, goes over my head, as to what details they want to collect). Recently I called again to check, the concerned person said it can take upto 1 month for disconnection (At this point, I have nothing to say).

              Today, 14th October, a mail came from Tikona
              ([protected]@tikona.in, Auto Reply From Tikona- Acknowledgement Mail From Customercare) at around 21:00)
              ...

              With reference to your Tikona Secured Wireless Broadband User ID [protected] registered against your name, please note we have closed the request number 1-[protected] as we could see that you were using the services and now your services are suspended due to non-payment.

              We request you to pay your outstanding dues of Rs.1166.29 immediately to reactivate the service. (Please ignore if you have already paid.)
              ...

              I have been confirmed by a Tikona representative that the last usage on my account with [protected] was in August, 2016 for around 300MB (which to be honest, I do not remember, maybe any of my family members did without knowing that I am not using this account, but since it is still active, that is NOT OUR FAULT). So, the above mail makes no sense, and since I last used in August, I doubt it is still usable as on today, and I do not want to check by logging in!)

              So, as I have stated on numerous emails to Tikona (I have also kept a few others on CC), I will only be paying the amount which was due till I last used Tikona. Now the bill amount has accumulated to more than Rs 1, 000 and is increasing as days goes by.

              So, I ask Tikona to send a final adjusted bill (which I think should be less than or around Rs 300), so that I can pay and close this account.

                Currently you are able to access uninterrupted services and no service issue persists against your account. Further we called you 22rd Oct to explain secondry policy howaver you are not co-operating with our exicutive.

                We would like to inform you that a waiver of Rs. 453/- has been posted for your account and same will be reflected in your forthcoming bills.

                You are in BBM4M850_KTN plan and as per this plan, your primary speed is 4MBPS till 50 GB usage and post this usage your speed is up to 512KBPS, Contention Ratio for Home Broadband Plans: 1:20.

                The "contention ratio" is the maximum number of other people you will have to share the connection infrastructure with. So a contention ratio of 1:20 would mean that the maximum number of people you could be sharing the connection with at any time is 19 other people. If all 20 people were downloading at the same time then your download speed could drop, in reality though this doesn't happen and you can enjoy much faster download speeds.

                    Hi please read carefully ...

                    I am using tikona internet since from last one and half year never seen customer service like tikona full o[censored]nprofessionalism in matter of support. many time i had issue i.e no connectivity best thing is toll free number which never work in time keep on trying trying... if accidently connected then you need tolerate negligence and many time paid bill without any internet connection more then 21 days which i never used.

                    now i have same issue there have no internet during night called several time and mailed them more then 7 time but there have no response but every day some one calling and saying that we checked your internet is working which i never compaint during daytime ... i mention that i don't have any issue during day but i have issue during night 11pm to 9am which they don't understand simple english just repeating same thing every time whenever i send email.

                    this is the worst service i seen in my life still the internet is not working.

                    just waiting for miracle it work automatic because right now don't have much choice

                    If some one really looking consumer compliant please check its still not working almost 30 day till date it has the same issue its not working in night after doing several complaint it has the issue and now they are forcing to bill..

                      issue. I am facing this from many days. I called you many times and you are saying that please connect directly your LAN wire to pc not to the router, I did the same and after that guess what my internet stopped working.

                      Right now i am in 4mbps speed but guess what i am not able to surfing the web pages. please resolve this issue as soon as possible. I am getting loss in my business by this.

                      If this issue will not resolved in tomorrow then sorry to say that I need to discontinued with the connection and look for another service provider.

                      Nothing is working here. It screws my clients.

                        I took new tikona connection on 1st of august.On 2nd of august i made payment for my tikona connection but as some misunderstand i paid on wrong id beacuse of last two digit is wrong enterd by me. On 3rd of august i made payment of my right tikona id.And also file a complaind on custumer care for wrong payment they promise me your refund will be back in 15 days .
                        But it passes more than two month .I called your custumer care many times or email you many time but not any help provided by your side .

                        After on 1 your talk many time your team said talk to bank and fill charge back form .Then i talk to bank and fill charge back form but my bank said that tha payment is done to tikona so bank wont be able to take care this sitution please talk your merchant because payment on his account not in bank account.

                        I reply to your team that for bank is not possible to take care this issue because payment done in tikona account.
                        After that i complaind many time and email you many time but not any solution providede by you..

                        Now i regret on my discussion why i choose tikona ..

                          I had requested immediate disconnection on 5th october and stopped using the service. At this time all my bills were paid and my amount to be paid was nil.

                          However, the company is not disconnecting the service after repeated phone calls and emails.

                          They have created a ticket for the same and its status is not moving

                          Dear, if they are not disconnecting your account after several request then simply don't pay and amount and if internet is still accessing then use it for free and enjoy, and if internet is also not accessed then simply remove tikona device and sell it on OLX.in there many customers that takes this device, just remove device and sell it or throw. i am sure tikona will never come and remove yr device ..

                            Even though i am paying monthly bills on time, tikona happens to provide very bad service and there are very serious connectivity issues. The speed is not what has been promised and not even as per plan. There has been serious drop in network speed. It has critically impacted my work.

                            There is no proper service provided by the executives and they do not care about their customers. Its really frustrating at times because if internet is connected you need to keep modem restarting every time just to check if it connects after restart.

                              I paid 4300 for the service for three months, haven't used the services after a month due to multiple disconnections and service delays, after 3 months they have automatically generated a bill and now asking for money for the new bill, the call center people are disrespectful, i had asked them to disconnect the connection, they do not and keep asking me to pay for the connection first, Fed up of these kind of companies, Zero service and will try to extract as much from the consumers by conning them

                                  I was a user of tinkona, i have paid the amount until may, i asked them to disconnect the connection but they dint turn up.
                                  I did not use the service now they are giving me a threatening call asking me to pay the amount including penalty till date.
                                  Highly unprofessional behavior.

                                    I was using tikona internet for 4 months but the internet never worked properly. So, I asked them to disconnect my services before a new bill cycle but their senior department asked me to give them 5 more days and told me that if internet doesn't start working then they will disconnect it and I will not have to pay anything because my complaint was registered before the bill cycle. Even after 5 days the internet didn't work so I asked for disconnection and after the disconnection they started calling me and said I will have to pay the amount for those days.

                                      I got email from tikona on aug 17, 2016 to make payment of rs 2324 for which i sent an email on aug 23, 2016 for disconnection of service but i didnt got any response. Again i sent follow email on sep 18, 2016 to disconnect the connection but no response. So i didnt made that payment because i was not getting any response and there is no reason calling there customer care as call never get connected to any live person there. Then on oct 7, 2016 i got call from advocate priya mehra who said she is from delhi civil court and tikona has asked to file case against me for non payment. She said the amount of rs 2524 is full and final payment which need to be paid till 3pm on oct 7 itself and after that my user id will be closed and tikona will send the confirmation by email in 24hrs and no further bills will be generated. I asked her that i sent disconnection request on aug 23 then why rs 200 extra was charged as late fee. She said she dont know as she got full and final statement from tikona claiming rs 2524. I made the payment thinking she cant do anything as she is advocate. I didnt got any confirmation email and then i tried calling there customer care but no response and i tried calling advocate back but no response. So i request tikona to return rs 200 which was charged even after sensing disconnection email request. Its not my fault that tikona never gave any response on that email. Also disconnect my asap as i have made full and final payment as per advocate and will not pay anything. If ita not done i have no choice to file case in cosumer court with all the call recording i have for advocate priya. So take this seriously rest decision is yours.

                                      Number for Advocate priya is [protected]..First of all please confirm if that is the correct number who identified herself an advocate of tikona..she is not answering calls from last 6 days. Also just close the connection as I have paid Rs 2524 and I am not uaing this connection since last 4 months so just close the connection and If i received any other bill then tikona will be in trouble for harrasment because I have call recording of advocate that after paying Rs 2524 my tilona id will be blocked and no further bills will be received.I[censored] need call recirsing I call upload call recording on this site for all other users to listen.

                                        Hi,

                                        I had tikona connection for over than a year, had lots of problems while I was using this connection.I had opted for quarterly payment which was a advance mode of payment. So while I was using Tikona when ever I had faced any technical issue it lasted min for 1 month, on calming for poor services Tikona executives used to give un logical answers and in a very unprofessional manner. So I was really fed up with there services as when calling to customer services, to tell them what issue I'm facing they used to talk in a very rude way and then disconnect the call. This was happened may times & I have record of those mails as well.

                                        So in 2015 from month of September I was facing some technical issue, but complaining to them was leading to no where as, no matter what issue you are facing no one is going to come and visit at your home & check it as Tikona was so advance as they never happen to face such issue, as they will tell you that your device is not receiving signals properly, we are arranging a executive that will come & check this issue, but that never seems to happen.

                                        So I did pay them the payment for next quarter & believe me for those three months my issue was not sorted, so I finally thought of getting this disconnect, so when I call up tikona that I want to disconnect my connection, so the response that I got was "Sorry Sir we can not disconnect your connection if you want we can shut your plan for now but whenever you will use our connection you will be charged as per/MB basis". I asked them clearly tell me what amount I have to pay & I no longer want to use your connection, but they didn't disconnect my connection. So after two months I received a call from the Tikona side that Sir you have to pay amount of Rs.870 approx. and I told them that my connection charge are Rs.845 p/m and I already have called up you guys as well as have drop two mails for disconnection how come I'm being charge, so they come up with some irreverent answers. So from that time onward I'm receiving so many Nuisance call claiming to be advocate from Delhi/ Maharashtra & we have filled a complaint against you.

                                        So I want your help to sort this out.
