I received a legal notice from some lawyer, threatening me to pay 1500 INR, which I am not liable to as they never resolved my complaints. And. Now they are calling me and threatening of filing a legal case against me.

I have called them multiple times & emailed as well either to resolve issue or disconnect it, after 10 days i called up & said to disconnect & installed new connection.He acknowledged & now sending bills again & again.

I already mailed them for disconnecting my connection which they never did and they kept sending me bills.

    We have stopped charging you rentals for the service from 8th Aug 16. If you wish to use the service anytime, you can do so. You would be charged 5paise/MB (excluding tax)@ a speed of 4Mbps only when you actually use the service.

      Tikona is fake company.
      I had disconnected the tikona service but i still get mails from the the care that you have a due payment of rs.909.51.
      After few days i got a call from mr. Advocate rahul sharma calling from delhi (Civil department of court) saying that i have to pay the bill or else he is going to file a case against me.
      I have not used even a single mb after the disconnection (Even shown in the bill stating total mb used=0mb). I have been mentally harressed by this man.
      Now i m going to police to fire an fir providing that man's number to the police.

          I had the tikona broadband installed in Lucknow on May 9.Since the day 1, I was facing connectivity issues which I complained to the customer care. After repeated delays, they came and told me that the area is not feasible for tikona internet. After following the due procedure, I got it uninstalled and returned the equipment and was told that I will get my full refund.

          Even after waiting for around 3 months and sending various mails, the costumer care has still not bothered to reach out to me and refund my money.

          Please help to get me back my refund and take the strictest possible action against them.

            Hi,

            I am being forcibly made to keep connection activated and harassed by calls and mails for technical issue resolutions which never happens.

            Since last 4-5 months my tikona broadband connection is facing some technical issues. For this i used to followup with customer care with calls and emails. This issue were never resolved properly. since last 2 months internet is not working. I have informed tikona via calls and emails multiple time since last 3 months that i want to deactivate connection.
            1st they made false promises of permanent resolution of issue and bill waive off, which never happen. Then in in last month a i informed that i don't want tikona connection but now they are not disconnecting it and sending me bill reminders and harassing by emails and call for technical resolution.

            This is shear case of torture and fraud. Please let me know is more details required in this regard.

            I got call from tikona 2 or 3 times recently. One guy said he is from senior desk and promised me full waiver in bill and permanent resolution of problem of network. I told him i don't want connection still he insisted and said to give one more chance. According to him issue was going to be solved permanently. I told him that i have been given such false promise from tikon several times before. But he said that they can commit this time. So i gave it a chance.
            Engineer from tikona visited and did something and net started as always. And as soon as engineer left net went down in 2 hours again as always. I tried calling customer care but not response.
            I emailed customer care informing them about false promises they make and told them again to disconnect service as i am not using it since last month. Again i got mail from tikona that my plan has been changed automatically and i will be charged differently, per mb or something.

            I still don't understand why they can't understand if someone does not want their service?

            I Request on this forum to please help me and suggest how can i get legal help against this fraud network providr and this harassment...

              This is a complaint regarding continuous interpreted services to the ID [protected] since three weeks. Despite many calls to the customer care and several attempts to try to talk to the executive, could not get a satisfied network. This is the worst experience ever in these past 7 years of being a Tikona customer. So, I request to look into the matter and resolve it ASAP. i do not mind cancelling the service and reaching to some other service provider.

                My Tikona ID is [protected]. Since day one I am not getting proper network coverage at my end. Most of the time I am not able to open the login page. Regarding this I spoke with Tikona executives many Time every time they come up up with new theory. After few days I requested to discontinue my services and asked for refund but every time they asked for last chance.I have paid 3 months of advance and not able to utilize internet services even for a single Day so I ask for refund and these guys started new stories. Calling them for network issue is the worst part, I wasted more than 6 hours on call (most of time its on hold, I have call record for that).

                  I took connection on 24 July and requested for disconnection on 28th July. I had terrible experience in these 4 days. From day 1, i started seeing frequent disconnection issues. I was lost my patience when customer care ppl not responding even after frequent requests. First day i spent around Rs 50 calling customer care as it is not toll free. Finally i could talk to customer care and i was assured the issue will be resolved in 24 hours otherwise i would be refunded my subscription amount. As expected the issue continued for 4 days and hence i requested for disconnection and refund but no one turned up. Next week on 4th August i got a call requesting me to give them a chance to restore the service. When i denied and asked to initiate the refund, i was told subscription amount of 3000 which i paid is not refundable. This is nowhere mentioned and i will go for a legal notice if they do not refund my money. I will let you all bangaloreans know in 2-3 days on the actions being taken by tikona. But let me tell you this is worst broadband connection and no one should approach these mumbai based cheaters.

                  That doesn't solve my problem. Initiate the refund asap. Why is it taking so long? I was left unattended for 5 days and the technical team was not able to resolve the issue within the deadline of 24 hrs given after continuous disconnection issue by the customer care.

                    I am working for an IT company.
                    Due to my illness, I am working from home.
                    For the past three days, I was unable to be connected with my internet .
                    I just called the customer care and they were not connecting to their executives.
                    Instead they are creating a ticket themselves and after several hours they are intimating this message.
                    'We have an ongoing Network Outage in your colony & our technical teams are still working it. We will update you once resolved. Regret inconvenience.'
                    Due to this, I am in a situation of loosing my job.
                    The worst service ever.Still the internet is not connected for me.I have here with mentioned my Tikona I'd for reference.

                      My Tikona user id is : [protected]. I have been receiving calls from different people, calling themselves as representatives of advocate Narendra Kalra of Tis Hazari court for months. They ask me to pay unreasonable amount of Rs 2738 and if I don't need to spoil my CIBIL credit score then I'll have to pay 10 times of that amount.

                      I had disconnected my Tikona connection in December itself but they continued it till April and now wants me to pay all the bills including fine. I have been paying the bill in time for almost past 3 continuous years too. Regardless of that their representatives use abusive languages and harassing me for months.

                      I tried reasoning with them multiple times but they just are too rude to listen to any of my logical reasoning. Please help.

                          Has anyone filed a case against tikona in consumer forum or any other courts?

                          My internet was down for more than month and after repeated calls and assurances they couldnt fix it, infact they never had any field engineer in my area who could come and fix the issue. Tikona charges advance rental and even though the service was down for entire month they still ate all the advance rental and raised the advance bill for next month.

                          Since they are only replying with automated useless emails I would like to take them to court and looking for some experiences from other users.

                            connection period :25-December-2015 to 04-June-2016.
                            Issues :
                            1. severe dis connectivity of connection every month.
                            2. avg.waiting on call to talk with customer care is 15 minutes.(it is chargeable not a free service).
                            3. several times i requested them to disconnect the connection but every time you have to convince them for at least 30 minutes and when you are able to do so they transfer the call to their senior and again you have to convince their senior also and it took 4 months to me to convince them.(all the calls were charged)it was mental and economic harassment as well.
                            4.False promises to customer : every month i made calls day and night regarding issues and every time they make falls promises and it was complete mental harassment.
                            5.my billing date was 26 of every month and i tried to disconnect my connection within it by i was not able to do so because of their chargeable calls and false promises but i raised disconnection request on the same day where was my month end on 25 may after bagging for disconnection and they disconnect my connection on 4-June.
                            6.i am still getting bills for my connection as tikona is a prepaid service and if i was not going to use that why should i pay for it and i already mailed them for the same but they do not respond and when i try to call them it said wrong userid as they disconnect my connection.every month they add 100 rs to bill and mailed it to me.
                            i will fight for it until i get justice.because it is severe mental harassment.

You will be charged up to your disconnection request date or billing cycle date or last usage date whichever is later. If you wish you may still use the services anytime in future, you will be charged 5 Paisa / MB (excluding tax) with speed up to 4Mbps.

                              Hi Team,

                              I want to close my tikona connection. having user is as [protected].

                              When I call center and convey that i need to close my connection, call center team putting my call on hold and they are not responding at all.
                              Regarding this I called to customer care(call center) 5 times. Every time i received this type of bad experience.

                              From 2nd Aug 2016 evening (around from 6 PM) to till date i called multiple times, Customer Care Number, always i am getting busy response. Not even able to reach customer care number now from my register mobile no.

                              I fed up calling Customer Care finally.

                              My billing Cycle is 7th of every month. I have 3 more days. Consider this mail as my approval/acknowledgement to close the connection on 7th August. I don't have any concern even you close today.

                              I will not pay any amount at any cost if the connection is not closed.
                              I paid execs amount last month. Let me know mode of return.

                              I saw these type of complaints in Consumer Complaints that tikona play like this and finally send court notice after 2 monts.

                              I called multiple times to tikona customer care, I recorded each conversation and some time they will not pick, you will get most of times busy, when you informed that, you are going to close a connection. Not sure, they have a mechanism or it is coincidence. After calling more than 20 times with recording, I sent mail to "[email protected]" around 3 times. Same day raised complaint in consumer Complaints. I feel in India we don't have stringent policy's on broadband. That why are begging here to close the connection. Do not know when India becomes customer friendly policies. Disconnection should be happened by 1 single SMS or Mail. Our regularities have to change.

                                I was a customer of tikona internet service. My customer id is ([protected]). I had used tikona for 1 year and then my area is not feasible and i had asked them many a times to cut my connection and i have prove in my emails but i got no response. Then my connection is stopped but even then i was getting bill.Then on 3rd august 2016 i received a call from delhi civil court by mobile no-[protected] and he said he is Aman and informed me that i have to pay 1164 rs extending bill to tikona.

                                He had threaten me by saying he is going to file the case against me if i don't make a payment just now.So i made a payment without even using the connection.This is how the tikona behave to there customers.

                                  I was using tikona internet and i was facing frequent problems with the same. finally after 1.5 yrs o[censored]sage i was relocating to the new address. tikona executive (priyanka) on date - 21/06/2016 said my bill would be waived off as i was facing frequent issues. she requested for a chance and use tikona at my new location. but the feasibility test failed and hence got tikona disconnected.
                                  Now today dated-03/08/2016, i got a call from [protected] saying she is some advocate and i need to pay tikona otherwise the case will go to magistrate and i will have to pay 85000 and also go to jail and all my bank account and cards would be seized as well, etc etc...
                                  And most importantly she said i must pay the said amount within 15 minutes.
                                  Now when i called tikona customer care, they are not even taking calls.
                                  Shame on tikona!

                                    Last 16 july'16. I started tikona broadband service but after 04 day passed there was a technical error with occuered with broad band. From the day when issue created with my internet connection i am just only trying to resolve the same problem with tikona executive and customer care team with so many follow up but they used to give the same answer that it will be resolve with in 02 days and with 48 hours their technician will visit at your home but till date no body visited my home to resolved the issue, now i am fed up with there services and when i am asking about to disconnect my broadband they reply "give us chance we will resolve it very shortly"

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      It is to inform that i have taken tikona broadband service 10 days back.
                                      Since day 1 the connection is not proper, after paying full amount the connection got activated after 4 days which was promised to be activated within 24 hours after payment.
                                      Moreover at the time of applying for the service the procedure and amount told was totally different from what we have paid at the time of installation.

                                      Moreover the connection just supported us only for 4-5 days and after that it is dead/not working. We have registered the complaint to which no action is being taken.
                                      Executives of the respected company are either not picking up the phone or they just cut the call without listening to our problems. They are just making fool of people by taking a 3 month advanced amount and providing no facility.

                                        I am fedup of your services. Since 2 months am facing connection prblm. Till now i have registered my complaint n number of times. But there's no response and not a single percent improvement in your service. So now i have decided to take off the tikona connection permanently. Last time your executive visited to take a look at my complaint, but said that there's problem from tge the server, and it will b solved. But till now nor the server improved nor your executive. I request you to improve your services or hence tikona will loose there customers slowly.
