My connection id was [protected], and started using tikona connection effective july 11, 2015 and thus made a payment for three month advance (Transaction id:-[protected]tpc[protected], however there was an issue with connectivity and i was never happy with the service & customer care support since very first day because i had the 2 mbps plan but i never received download speed of 40 kbps, i made an ample call to them for resolution, but this issue was never resolved.
After two month when i saw this issue was never going to be resolved, therefore i have sent an email to “[protected]@tikona.In" on september 12, 2015 for disconnection of request, and asked them to refund amount for remaining one month since one month was still pending. After sending email, i got formality again from their customer care support, they asked for last opportunity and promised me if this issue wont resolved now, you can discontinue with services and they will refund your money as well. One local person was continue in touch with me for 10 days, after all efforts he come to conclusion that there is some bandwidth issue at handewadi road, which needs to be fixed from main server, so i made a call to their customer care support on end of september month “missed out the exact date” and asked them i don’t need any service now with tikona and please refund my money for at least one month and the response from them, “sir you will receive a call from same”.
After all email and phone communication, they still didn’t send anyone from their side to discontinue of connection and i was still receiving email stating you are using tikona services, just to be safer here i have sent an another top up email on oct 13th, 2015 on same email thread stating “i won’t pay any new bill since three month was already completed on oct 8th, 2015”.
Again there is no resolution as this issue was keep going on and they keep adding bills on monthly basis, i was getting call from their collection team, retention team to pay the bill, which i never used and asked already to disconnect the internet and i already changed my internet subscriber on mid of oct and was not using tikona thereafter.
Worst part was when i got the person at my home from tikona on 24 november, 2015 for bill payment, then again i sent an email on same thread email, “please stop doing this, if this won’t stop here i’ll take action against you”.
As usual no change after all email, they keep adding bills even after, yesterday 4th-may 2016 i received call from lady stating she is lawyer “[protected]”, and she is going to raise complain against me on behalf of tikona as i didn’t make the bill payment.
After all this occurrence, few questions are roaming in my mind
1) how helpless is customer in india, they can’t do anything with the service provider, even if you see my emails, i already sent email to them which is one month advance for disconnection, instead of refunding my amount for remaining month they billed me for another two month, which i never used it.
2) after all emails & calls, they forced me to continue with tikona and never disconnect the internet from their side, even after the worst services and worst customer care which was never able to resolve the issue.
3) they harassed me with the unwanted call from collection, retention, local team, and now with lawyer,
We as middle class, who always avoid such occurrence as we don’t have much time to engage on such issues, because of this service provider like tikona make their customer fool, as a result customer need be suffer here with the money, time & energy
All emails which i sent to tikona “[protected]@tikona.In are updated on attached pic, anyone can view with all required information i.E.Sender email, receiver email, date time, etc.
If tikona have something to represent here where i asked them to null my request for disconnection, i will be happy to see it here
I am looking forward for resolution on this, please assist
Tikona Digital Networks customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
These people if charge for their services, should be ready to take the responsibility also then at their end.
