Hi,

This is manpreet from gurgaon. I want to complaint against tikona digital networks. I subscribed for tikona internet on 7-april-2016 for 4 mbps plan but i have never received 4 mbps speed on this network. Everytime, i called to technical team then either they said to wait for 24 hours or they disconnect my call. You can check my call data on tikona network or also, i have call recordings also. There was also technician visit to my place but he was also not able to resolve that speed issue.

I have complaint no also 1-[protected] and 1-[protected].

Whenever i told them to transfer my call to supervisor then they either transfer it to another department or disconnect my call. I remember the name of two agents named hemant and randhir singh rathore, they disconnected my call. Yesterday, it was supposed to be technician visit to my place and when i called to technician, he said he never got any confirmation about visit.

Now, i'm really tired all that things. So, i want refund now from tikona digital networks. If you want i can also send call recordings, my bill payment receipt all whatever you want.

This (Consumer forum) is my last hope to get refund from tikona.

Please do needful. Looking for your positive response.

    Dear team,

    I am very much unsatisfied with your high quality services, really fed up with your internet service and with your customer support service.

    This is going to be 3rd week i am facing no connectivity issue via your link and had raised complaint so many times but every time i was informed that there is some issue with your back end and service would be restored soon and every next day of raising a complaint i am getting a text message on my registered mobile number that "your complaint has been resolved" and that is very much annoying for me because nothing is getting change after raising too many complaints.

    Every time when i tried to reach your complaint desk i am getting fruitful responses but didn't get fruitful results till now.

    I am using your services from past 5-6 years in my home town but till now didn't face such type of issues, but here i have to sadly surrender my connection because i am no more interested to spent even single penny on you guys or your such a bad service.

    Thank you very much for your unsatisfactory services.

      They took rs. 2687/- for new connection, when tikona dont have feasibility in my place. I have requested for refund. But its been 3 months the are playing.

      Request:- dont fall on tikona marketing people word. They can do any thing for commission.

        I have taken a wireless connectoion, Plan 675/- pm from TIKONA in Bangalore on 22 Feb 16. At the time of installation, the service engr and the area manager told me to pay Rs. 675x3 and installaltion as Rs. 250/-. I have paid an amount of Rs. 2605/-. On 29 March I got a bill from them as below :-

        1st Recurring charges for the period 22-Feb-2016 to 06-Mar-2016 which is Rs. 325.86/- (pro-rata basis)
        2nd Recurring charged for the period 07-Mar-2016 to 06-Apr-2016 which is Rs. 675.00/-(advanced rental)
        One time charge: - Installation fees Rs. 750.00 /
        Service tax 14.5% Rs. 253.87/- total bill was generated Of Rs. 2004.73/-.

        I sent a mail to adjust the amount of Installation charges to my account. On 21 Apr they told it c annot be and I have to pay the amount Rs 171. to continue service. The same has been not agreed by me.

        SINCE THE INSTALLATION DATE, MOST OF THE DAY AFTER 11.OO PM THE SERVICE WAS NOT AVILABLE. ON QRY SERVOR DOWN OR SOME OTHER REASONS RECD. THE SPEED IS ALWAYS BELOW 2 MPBS. ON QRY IMMEDITELY THE SPEED WILL INCREASE TP 3.OO +. I STRONGLY FEEL THEY ARE DOING IT DELIBERATELY. THE SERVICE ENGR TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE NOT TOLD THAT THE SPEED CAN BE UPTO 4 MPBS AND ALWAYS WITH 4MPBS.

        I REQUEST PUBLIC NOT TO BE CHEATED BY THIS FIRM. I HAVE DECIDED TO INFORM MY FRIENDS IN MY AREA NOT TO TAKE THIS CONNECTON.

        I AM ALSO GOING TO PUT UP THIS MATTER TO TRAI FOR THEIR OPINION WHAT ACTION CAN BE TAKEN AGAINST THIS FIRM FOR SUCH CHEATING.

          I have cancelled my tikona broadband connection and i have been getting calls for making a payment when i asked them why i have to pay the bill when i have not used they said there is a usage so i asked them to mail me itemised paper bill for the same they refused and some fake adovate call and asks for payment said he doesnt have any cases to fight in court so he is working for Tikona and calling everyday to make make payment guiding me to go on tikona website and make payment... For Rs2200 or else i will have to go court in Delhi... What kind of a bagger company is this i mean the owner has no self respect other than harassing people... Tikona no.[protected]

            I have been using tikona broadband 450rs monthly plan for almost two years. I asked them to disconnect connection on feb 9, 2016 as I was shifting to a hostel and they confirmed the disconnection too. Today i.e. April 21, 2016, I got a message that my overdue is 2100rs. I called the customer care about this. They told me somebody used the services after the disconnection. When I asked them why did you provide services even after disconnection and why didn't you disconnect it, they are arguing with me and asking me to pay the amount in any case. What should I do now? Do I need to file any case against them? Please suggest something to stop this.

              My ordeal with Tikona Wibro started since the time I took the connection in May, 2015. First, they didn't do the installation on time. After a lot of complaints to the customer care and TRAI finally, they activated my service. The past 10 months have been mixed, with sometimes the connection working fine and sometimes, it simply will not work.
              The latest ordeal started since Monday. My internet connection was working fine, but suddenly it stopped. After 2/3 complaints to the customer care, they agreed to send a field engineer. However, the engineer was worthless; he couldn't even identify the problem. The second service engineer came on Wednesday (more than 30 hours after my complaint). He was somewhat better; atleast he tried to identify the problem, but alas couldn't. Both the service engineers said that the problem is with their device. I asked them all along to change the rooftop device, since they agreed that the device has developed a fault. However, nothing helped. On Thursday morning, I had to instruct them for discontinuation, following which, the regional service manager, Mr. Amit Singh (South Kolkata, Gariahat area) stepped in, said the device is faulty and agreed to change it. However, since his promise, almost 6-8 hours have passed but no solution as yet.
              If Tikona members are reading this, then take this as my final warning, disconnect my service since you dnt want to repair it. I have had enough of your stupid excuses.

              Has the issue been resolved?
              I am also facing the same issue as Kuparmar has mentioned in his original complaint.
              Frauds calling for bill settlement and blackmailing with civil suit.

                Tikona broadband company is a cheat.

                The speed is pathetic not in mbps(4 mbps which they claim) but in 350/700 kbps.

                I have taken 30 gb plan but not able to complete 1 gb since 21 days.

                I am repeatedly requesting them to cancel the connection.

                I sent an email to ceo prakash.[protected]@tikona.In‎; [protected]@tikona.In and customer care still no response.

                This is my horrible experience in my life time.

                Please don't try the internet connection given by this company they know how to cheat & frustrate the customer only.

                The customer care of tikona is world's worst service i ever seen.

                  As per your comments on my previous post you were working on full & final calculation of my account and you were to update me on that.
                  But nothing had happened on that! I didn't got any call from tikona people.

                  And now it's too much. A girl from Tikona called me saying that she is an advocate and Tikona is filing a case against me in Delhi high court, while I ask her to get a callback from Tikona, she refused to so.

                  Now, I'm going to appoint an advocate (a real one and not a fraud like yours!) and will file a case on tikona for harassing me and demanding an amount for which they haven't provide any services.
                  FYI I've all the copies of mail that are enough to prove that termination request was initiated from my side and response from your side.

                    I have received a phone from tikona company to settle a bill. They offered Rs 1000 against Rs 2800. I have accepted the offer and made the payment. They said they will send me the NOC letter at my email address. I gave them the payment confirmation number. Later i received a call from another person from tikona said they received Rs 1000 and now i have to pay the remaining amount. I informed him that we were in agreement to pay Rs 1000 to close this bill and tikona will provide me the NOC letter. He said it was a trick to get minimum Rs 1000 from you.

Their customer service team always reply that we are working on this concern and we will waive your bill. when requested for waiver on bill payment, they agree and later they said every thing was fine and we cannot waive any thing.                       This company - Tikona networks is a provider of Internet broadband services allover the country. I took the connection on 23 rd Nov 2015 and from that day they have made my life miserable. The guy they sent for service installation knew nothing and was unable to provide a satisfactory demo. But on his insistence that things would improve in some time, I paid the money (one month charge + installation fee = 1500). And after that despite repeated calls the installation guy did not respond for 10 days. I was left to suffer after advance payment. I tried calling customer care numbers as well but they said we will fix the issue while doing nothing about it. The speed of the connection was far less than what was quoted in the brochure, And when new guy came form company he said this is company issue, he can't fix. Now what is that? Is it not company's duty to send compatible fellow for customers support. And since then they have been demanding bill from me for next month while I was hardly able to use their service in first month. Such kind of intimidatory attitude is something you should take note note off. The company is sending me repeated mails and calling all day to demand bill which is unjust practise. Even the modem they provided is not with me and only their service guy knew where it is installed. I suspect he might have stolen it and the company is now demanding the modem from me saying it is thier property. They should ideally give me appropriate compensation for this kind of service. Instead they are demanding bill and sending me notice. Now I have no option bit to register an official complain against them for disturbing my routine work. I do not wish to reactivate my Tikona service account and and want to terminate any association with them whatsoever. They have said that they will incur appropriate recoery proceedings.                         I had used from September 2014 to july 2015, the service was not that good, any time it will disconnect and it will take 2-3 days to resolve the issue, and after using the service for 10 months i decided to stop using it and surrender the connection, so i did disconnect the service on the last day of the billing, and then the bigger problem started.

                        After registering a disconnection request. they called me and tried to convince to have their connection alive and they gave lot of offer for my old plan. But i want to disconnect it for sure due to bad connectivity and poor service.
                        Without disconnection the connection they left the connection for next 2 month and the bill is automatically generated and they are calling me for the bill and disturbing continuously.
                        When i spoke with the customer care they informed me "Sir kindly pay your outstanding bill to disconnect your network service, But after Paying my bill they renewed my connection and again after one month they calling me for paying the bill. This is Worst service i ever faced in ma life.

                        Again every fortnight they will call and threat me, a personal named so called will be mentioned saying he is a lawyer and calling from Delhi court, i told i have all my bills till i used, and i wont pay any amount further as i have not used it. They used abusive words as well, and try to threaten, this the worst kind of service i have seen in my whole life. I am going to file a consumer case on this very soon.

                        I advice people to never never never use this service. If it would be possible i will give 0 or negative rating.

                          My name is prema and my tikona customer ID is [protected]..
                          I have settled all my bill amounts inspite of their on and off networking and slow in connection...
                          I have called tikona customer care several times in a month to fix the issue... Atlast got fed up and requested for cancellation and they accepted my request..
                          And I moved to another house in July..
                          They sent the people to collect their dish from my old house and informed me that they accepted my request and everything is settled...
                          Later in a months time they started calling me saying that is a call from district court ans I was supposed to pay the bill for two months..I again called customer care and explained and once again, they agreed.. And again now they are sending me a demand notice for the payment..
                          Tikona has really disturbed my routine life by making calls and threatening me like this..
                          Pls help me regarding this issue..

                              Tikona's service was too bad and the connectivity was very unstable also the fpu which they measure was poor in terms of reality.

                              Due to this i complained many times - since the i had the connection with me i paid for what i haven't benefited.

                              Hence i opted for a cancellation in the month of june 2015 and paid all the dues on july 2015 - however the connection wires were not removed. The customer support service agreed for my cancellation.

                              Even after this they kept on sending email will the bills for which i haven't used they had send suresh a representative (Claimed) came down and told me that he will cancel the connection - when i asked for the refund of my depository fees he evaded saying that i will get a refund - but failed to receive.

                              In january another representative came to my door step and shouted at me for not paying the bill and made a few calls and made a scene on the road and removed the wires and went off.

                              Now today i received a call from a lawyer named priyanka (Claimed lawyer ) from delhi with bar council number wn/999/2013 - shouted at me threatening that with in 15 minutes i should appear in the delhi court for hearing. I couldn't work and concentrate on my job due to this undue legal threat.

                              In t&c of tikona it was mentioned that all disputes are under the mumbai jurisdictions only

                              I have no idea what to do and whom to contact.

                                Dear mr nair,

                                I have been using the tikona services since last 6 to 7 years but the services are turning out to be a nightmare. Earlier the speed was also good and i enjoyed the services.

                                But now the speed is pathetic and taking a support from customer service is a pain. After being asked to hold for 25 to 30 mins the call gets disconnected and if i am fortunate enough i get through. The feedback i get is that the advanced technical team will get back to us. They do get call but the struggle with the speed still remains.

                                If you can take the pain of going through my complains its been almost 3 months or more that i have been struggling with the speed despite switching to a higher rental plan which offers a higher speed. I was upgraded to rs 650 where user gets 4 mbps speed. But the speed hardly touches 2 mbps also. I get a call from technical teams call but ultimately no solution has arrived. Hence with out any option i had to get in touch with.

                                Request you to please look into this as i am already getting a better offer from my cable operator with a consistent speed as well.

                                If my problem cant be resolved then please let me know so that i can clear my bill and unbill and we can part away on a happy note...

                                  This is Kalpesh Surana complaining about Tikona Digital Networks. It's been almost six months i am using this internet service but there's not been a single day when I was able to use without any problem. I had made a lot of phone calls which you can check with my mobile service provider. I am very much disappointed with this company. Everyday they have some technical problem and it's me whose facing the lose. They don"t even talk properly over their customer care numbers. I have all the recordings which I want you to listen to but I don't know how to attach here. They always say give us last chance this won't happen again but after every two days the same problem occurs and they say the problem will be resolved within 24 hours time an this continues. As you know internet has become very important these days, I had to take a lot of net packs making me face a lot of expenses. Taking this company became a curse for me. They always harassed me and never provided proper service or proper resolution for the problem. I request you to look after this and help me in getting my refund as it costed me a lot by taking both Tikona Digital Networks and internet packs.

                                  It would be a great help if you get me refunded. Looking forward for your help.

                                    I got the connection last september,

                                    After three months of ok connections it started as others said no proper connection errors speed issues etc.. I requested for disconnection from december and they even waiver some amout but as they waivered the connection was also waiver their quality...

                                    By jan no proper connection at all but these people charged me with 698.62 ... How do you even get that .62 i dont know when someone not using .. After many calls they said the amount is waivered and connection is diconnected and suddenly at april month i got a threatning mail from them stating they going legal i tried calling the customer care none picks the call because the outstanding is over my head... Which they supposed to be waivered by jan ...

                                    And today i paid them completely if they contacted me by any means i may go ahead filing a damn case for threatening me ... Worst worst worst worst worst worst worst service...

                                    If you guys dont want the stupid antenna i am going to throw it anytime soon.

                                    Even I have made request to reactivate the connection on Feb and March they said it will be reactivated within 2 days thats also not happened and when the threatning email came, Ladies in Home received the email which pushed them to distress and called me to notify about this issue for the distress called i can file a case against them with ladies looped in
                                    User ID [protected]... Damn Worst service ... If anyone calls me and says we are here to help from tikona i already have more evidence about your mishandling and mails which i will file a case against you badly

                                      My name is karthick v and my tickona user id is [protected], i have used tickona internet connection about an year in the following address

                                      No: 7, vijay avenue, mandhaveli cross street, puzhuthivakkam, chennai-91.

                                      I had faced too many issues in internet connectivity during my tenure with tickona service which you can able to find from my complaint history.

                                      Finally due to some personal reasons i surrendered my internet connection on 18feb2016. And i have promptly paid all my bills to tickona internet up to my final bill.

                                      At the of surrender your person asked me to refer someone.And i referred one of my friend which is the biggest mistake i did .

                                      But your people transferred my account to my friend without my knowledge.

                                      And know you are sending me bill with penalty which i have never used. Its really frustrating me. Since i surrendered my connection i will not pay anymore amount to tickona .I, m feeling cheated now.

                                      I have informed about this to tickona customer care as soon as i came to know you are transferred my account.
                                      It's completely your person mistake and i, m not responsible for it.

                                      So please confirm that i have no due with tickona internet service.

                                      You have not properly addressed my concern,

                                      I have requested to disconnect my connection on 18feb2016 and my last usage was 20Feb2016. And also I have paid my internet bill up to the last billing cycle dated on 06Mar2016.
                                      I have never used Tickona internet connection after 20feb2016.

                                      And know why tickona is keep on sending me bill with penalty which i have never used. Its really frustrating to me. Since i surrendered my connection i will not pay anymore amount to tickona .I, m really feeling cheated now.
                                      Never suggest or use tickona service in future.

                                        Hi Tikona,

                                        Just now I received call from Sandeep from billing department and he informed that I am due in payment. He also informed that Tikona is expecting call from me for resolving this issue. Kindly note that I cannot call your customer care and wait for 30 mins on line for speaking to your customer care as I found lot of waste time previously after taking your connection.


                                        Few insites of this billing issue:

                                        At the time of installation, your engineer confirmed that I am in offer period (Paying 3 months rental I will get 500 rupees waiver) and I payed amount of 2176 rupees considering the rental of 550 rupees as suggested by your engineer. Which clearly means that I need to get this connection till April 15th and after that I need to start paying the rentals.

                                        2. Initial plan which was imposed by Tikona is 800 rupees plan and this is intimated at the time of installation and on the same day, I informed him I will go with 550 plan.
                                        However, as per Sandeep, I sent request to change of plan on 25th Jan which I never did.

                                        3. Till now my connection is not working properly, however you are keep on following with me for the due reminders which is a mistake from our side.


                                        Do you have any proper softwares which can track all these and find out the odd man out here who created these problems.

                                        I am not at all happy with all your services and continuous mistakes which is suffering your customer, I have small doubt, is it happening with me or with all.

                                        Yesterday, I have recommended Tikona connection for my neighbour and after providing the connection to him, my connection got disconnected.
