I had been using Tikona services since 4-5 years. It is quite understandable that there could be technical issues here and there. However, off late, inspite o[censored]pgrading and paying more, the condition became weird and most of my time used to go into follow ups to resolve the issues. Witnessing such issues from Tikona, I was in double minds whether to opt out or not since there was not an appropriate solution though there was a clear indication from their Customer care dept. that the services will remain like this and suggested for a disconnection under such circumstances.

Following the process, I cooperated and handed over all the company's assets; I was clear on all my bills even when the services had not been proper since a few months; however, I denied paying anything now which I had already cleared and later agreed to deduct it from the deposit given to the company.

To my surprise, I received an email legal notification from Tikona - dated 9th March 2016, to which I had responded giving all the past history. And further adding to the agony, I received a call yesterday - 12th April 2016, from an unknown number and the person claiming to be a Govt. advocate and calling from Tis hazari Court that he has received such a file and he has 30 mins post which he needs to file a case against me and threatening in case if I fail to do so it will not only hamper my CIBIL score but your name would appear in the blacklist on RBI portal, you won't be able to apply for a govt. job, would be hard to get a loan etc. He also specified that this is a Court number and you cannot call back on it and on googling it came to understand how consumers are being exploited by the company.

After an hour when i did not respond, I received more calls, each time a different number this advocate claims himself to be a govt. lawyer and had been switching numbers to call. Govt.'s name is being ridiculed here which isn't a good sight.
An appropriate action needs to taken else this practice of harassing customers won't stop.

The company should not be allowed to function this way.

There has to be a base to it, who else can support than the company itself since only their motive is evident here, else who would know the inside details and such a call is made without knowing the status of both the sides. I have a track of all the emails I have sent to Tikona and have never received any acknowledgement. Instead, the legal dept. approaches, wrongly stating that reminders have been given which isn't true. Instead I owe money from them, they did not speak about my deposit amount.

On this forum we are being pacified by them while being threatened on the other front.
It is all about how you treat your customer; identify why such a scenario has occurred, since after availing the services for 4+years, why such a step and should be properly resolved instead by such misleading ways.

I have not received a concrete solution instead a msg from Legal dept. to sue me in case I do not clear. I don't understand why a simple calculation is hard to understand. First of all, due to bad connection, the service could not be availed + customer assistance was not available, only remote assistance but what's the use when your own rep. mentions that the services in my area were not functional so why was this not informed to me. As a consumer, I have a full right to know in case of any such changes affecting the service.

I am tired of reminders. Neither I get an appropriate answer regarding my Deposit amount. I have mentioned over and over again... Deduct the same from my Deposit amount and even keep the remaining amount with you...but it seems to be completely ignored.

The company provides a platform to consumers to mention their comments on the column provided, but the catch is that it is completely upto their will to publish it or not...obviously 'NOT' if the content bad names the company but then what's the use of misguiding your consumers.

I am still expecting help from this Forum as the query still remains unresolved.

Would appreciate a suitable action - I have never denied a payment inspite of not being using your services while still being charged - either return my deposit and and I will pay OR deduct the amount being asked for Rs. 605, from my deposit amount and pay the difference.

However, asking to pay this Rs. 605 while not considering to return my deposit, isn't ethical.

I hope the above considerations would be taken into account to resolve the issue once and for all.

Looks the team is still working to find out ways to threaten instead of actually working out on the solution. I would appreciate in case the forum can help in this regards as after complaining here, the torture and the trouble increases.

I feel sick; inspite of registering a complaint on such a platform, expecting a positive solution, the irony is that the trend of such threatening calls hasn't stopped a bit instead has increased which isn't expected from such a firm falling so low and harassing its customers in such an awkward way.

I urge the forum to kindly look again into it.

    Me & my roommates have recently taken broadband connection from tikona broadband (User id : [protected]) and we feel like we have been cheated.
    I am writing down the series of events that happened with us which ended up as our worst experience with tikona.

    1. Incomplete monthly charges shown on website : since we wanted high speed and heavy usage, we chose a plan for 1700 per month. At the time of installation, the installation guy told us that we have to pay 15%tax over the amount for 3 months. That became 5100+765=5865. We happily paid the amount because we were hoping for great speeds and uninterrupted connections. They do a demo before giving you the connection. At the time of demo, the speed was close to 4 mbps but it was dropping to ~2.5 mbps intermittently. We thought this as normal and asked them to install the broadband connection.

    2. Good demo, worst user experience : the very same night on which the installation was done, proved out to be the worst night ever for us all. When we came back from office with happy faces to get connected to fast broadband connection, we were surprised by connectivity issues. We were not able to connect to the internet after numerous attempts. Restarted the router, logged in & out of the webpage, but all in vain. Even the login page (Https://login.Tikona.In) was not accessible. Forget to go any further.

    3. 30 min wait at customer care numbers : broadband is an always on service. But what we were getting was a intermittent working service. On top of everything, the customer care service is very difficult to connect to. When you call, you will be asked to wait for a certain amount of time before someone will take up your call. This wait time has been more than 15 mins on most occassions and also went beyond 30 mins on a few occassions. What's worse is that even after talking to them, the internet will work for a few hours and then again the connection issue starts.

    4. Escalations : since we are very unhappy with the services provided by tikona broadband services, we wanted to escalate things to get speedy resolution. We sent out a email complaint to mr. Jaykrishnan nair (J.[protected]@tikona.In) explaining our situation and asking to expedite the process. No replies to that email even after 3 days now.

    5. Refund : the only option that we are left with is refund of our money so that we can head to another internet providers in our area. But, no one is telling us that procedure.

    Hoping to get some info on getting back our money or else we will have to start looking for other severe measures.

      I had a tikona internet connection with user ID [protected] two years back. In march 2014 i requested them to disconnect my connection to which they agreed, but in april 2014 they sent me bill of March 2014 and then they kept enforcing penalty of Rs 100 per month on that bill and i was receiving threat calls from them.
      On 16th of January 2016 i called tikona customer care and they said that i have an outstanding amount of Rs 3110 and after paying that I will not receive any further calls and my connection will be closed (I have not used tikona since March 2014). I paid the amount through internet banking (copy enclosed) and requested to disconnect my amount.
      Now today I received a call from Tikona with this No. [protected] and she asked me to pay the bill of Rs 800 within half an hour. She said that it was the remaining penalty and after paying that she will mail me NOC from Tikona. She threatened me that my bank accounts will get sealed and all govt id cards will be seized and I will not get any govt job just because of 800 rupees otherwise i can settle the case outside court by paying Rs 800. She said that she will mail me the NOC from tikona at my mail id after paying the bill of Rs 800. Then I paid the bill because I don't want to take tension of court case and I wanted to settle the issue completely. But after paying the bill i did not received any mail. I call her repeatedly on her phone but most of the time i was either getting busy tone or she was not picking up the phone. Then she switched off her phone. I m feeling really cheated. I have paid so much amount for no reason. I m attaching here bills paid by me.

        I had called tikona customer care for disconnecting my customer care as i have shifted to another place for some time. Initially the customer care refused to listen to me and kept distracting. After my firm request, they told me the procedure . By that time i had remaining bill of rs 172. After paying the amount i called them again to stop my connection. Since then, they have not taken any connection and have generated another bill of rs 850. Which i am not supposed to say since i have already placed my request through customer care.

        Now the scenario is i am getting calls from their recovery agents or so called goons who are harassing my father over phone using foul language. They have told me that they will come down at my house and will take whatever they can if i refuse to pay. The kind of language they used over phone is so filthy that i can't explain. I have called the customer care and they tell me that they have no record of my call and i will have to pay the rest amount.

        Is this the way these companies bully their customers?

        There is no way i can talk to any senior in the company or address this situation.

        Dear Arun- i had a similar experience with Tikona and dont be surprised if they call you posing as officers from Tis Hazari court in Delhi. They will tell you that there is a criminal complaint against you and arm twist you to pay money. A lady by the name of Rekha Chauhan may call you. They are skilled in this art of duping. Please beware of them. I have already initiated criminal action against them and i hope they would stop harrassing customers. Infact, try google and see the number of complaints and everyone has the same story to tell.

        So nothing has changed and my father just received another call from their agent telling him the case number registered in Delhi High Court. With such abusive language used by their GOON recovery agents, I don't know how their company is allowed to work. This is affecting my dad's professional life and causing mental pressure. THIS IS PURE FORM OF HARASSMENT!! I don't understand why Tikona can't decide which court they have registered case in. Earlier it was TIS HAZARI now it is High Court. When it is clear we made the disconnection request before the billing period why are they forcing us to pay for the fees when we never used a single byte out of it.

        I am going to take this matter to TRAI now or is there anyway I can address TRAI from here. Please let me know.

          I have taken a new connecting paying advance of 2250 rupes, I never used it properly but waited in patience that tikona service will improve but even that period I have paid 3 bills in time, as there was no impovement in service I requested for cancellation, after several emails and calls they cancelled the connection but still I am getting bills and some one is calling and threatening me to put court case and they are asking to pay 800/- rupes and asking me to come to delhi . I donot understand why should I go to delhi for paying 800/- .

          My Billing Account Number[protected].

          I have made very big mistake, I[censored] Tikona need money let me know, I will pay but please donot send goons and threathing calls for 800/- . I did not use more than 1 GB till now and would have paid nothing less than 5000 and additionally I am getting such a calls .

            I am bhavik raval (Tikona service id no [protected]) living at kalyan. I have been using tikona services since 2014. (But at this time i would have moved out to some other good internet service provider, again its my bad and still suffering with this worst service) from the month of jan 2015, i would have raised more complaints about the connectivity. I have been getting calls from some lawyer from tikona (Numbers) threatening me that a case had been filed in the delhi court and that i would need to visit the delhi court or the warrant will be issued against me and police will take action against me. They say it is for the so called pending bill and that they had filed a case against me. I have been receiving calls persistently from someone threating me about the case. This is extremely annoying. I am extremely fed up with these threating calls every now and then. Kindly bring to your notice that i had raised a disconnection request in the month of jan 2015 by talking to your customer care department. Even then they have been sending mails asking for money and has also generated the bills for subsequent months. Tikona officer visited my place and he has verified that it has been technical error with respect to my connection. I had paid my bill till the date of disconnection. Kindly take this issue very seriously and close this matter.

              My name is Kartik Kachhadiya. I was using internet broadband service from Tikona since last 3.5 years. Network problem started in October, 2015. I have complained many times about network issue and after almost 1.5 month the area manager Mr. Jayanti came to my home, he tried himself and found the network feasibility problem in my area. He reported in December 2015 about the issue. He told me that i will get my refund of Rs. 5385 within 45 days from the disconnection. Tikona disconnected my service on 1st January, 2016 and collected their devices on 19th January, 2016. After that day, I called too many times to customer care for refund process. Everytime they told me that i will get my refund within a particuler date given by them. They removed my old complains from my tikona selfcare account and when I asked for that, they gave me a new complain number on 22nd March, 2016. The complain number is 1-[protected]. I was told that I will get my refund within 22nd April, 2016. But, I know that they will give me a new date after 22nd April and will continue this cycle to make me fool. I hope Consumer Complaints will help me get my problem soled.

                I am rajendar saraf (Tikona service id no [protected] & billing account number[protected] living in bhayandar (Mumbai ) .
                I have been using tikona services since july 2014. (But at this time i would have moved out to some other good internet service provider, again its my bad and still suffering with this worst service) from the month of august 2015 to dec 2015, i would have raised more complaints about the connectivity.

                Tikona executive as visited my place for the month of nov he will check system its really really slow and worst services ….
                ( he told me there is no proper internet speed for this location and you can move on other internet service provider) ..
                I dnt understand it is tikona who should pay me the refund as their connection didnt work why should i pay for 2 months i didnt use the proper service.
                First you will pay me for 3000rs lost due to bad worst internet services i have to go for the month of nov / dec cyber cafe internet to complete my project work …

                Please take this issue very seriousl and close this matter

                  ONE BIG FRAUD : i made payment of 2120 amount to ur tikona executive (Abhay Kumar) on 20-1-16 who has been telling me all these days that he submitted the amount to tikona but by mistake he submitted in a different account similar to my account...and then he said he was fined by tikona rs 500 for this mistake ... then recently he started saying that he will deposit the amount from his pocket ...all these days tikona customer care kept saying that we will check with executive and internet will go up in 3 days ... and now its 3 months ... CUSTOMER CARE DOES NOT REPLY ALSO

                      No internet access since the connection has been taken on 3rd april. Everyday after contacting only the customer care the internet can be accessed. What is the use of such service ? Its been a week and not a single day has passed when i have not called the customer care and my internet has started. Such is the horrible service of tikona. And most important they do not resolve complaint neither do they acknowledge the problem. Serious problem with these connectectivity and tikonas future.

                        My tikona id is [protected]. I paid 3 month advanced (15th jan 2016 to 15th april 2016)but in one month the service is very disaster and poor. I had raised may ticket and complaints but issue is not resolved till yet every day same excuse like please wait 24 hr with in 24 hr your issue will be resolved but from the day when i started using tikona no resolution. Now i had asked for for my payment back but they are are telling me that you have to use service, how do we use service with this quality.

                        Now they are sending bill to me amount of 1100 .
                        In a day 12 hours internet service is down at daily basis ., i just need my remain payment back, i don't want to continue tikona any more. I need my money back in cash, dont want any service from tikona.

                          For last 20 days i have been continuously complaining about loss of connectivity / slow speed. Their call center is highly inefficient. They have no knowledge of the issue and just make false promises without any action. Nobody from their side even inform you anything and they just close the complaint marking it as resolved. I have talked to their so called senior people as well and they are all the same. It is a real shame that we have such service providers in india. All consumers just shun such incompetent and fraud service provide so that their shop go bust and they go bankrupt.

                          This post is to warn all new service seekers to be beware of them. If you want a peaceful life, stay away from tikona internet.

                            I had taken tikona broadband connection in month of september- 6/9/2015 and paid in advance for 3 months 3056/-

                            I was not getting proper connection and every day there was some issue with network. I had filed complaint several times but i dint not get any solution. I decided to discontinue the server in month of november. I called to the customer care person and requested to stop the services on 25th of november 2015, i was assured by the lady that it will not be charged any penny extra and services would be stopped, but nothing happened. I again dropped an email on 29th november 2015 and requested to stop the services, again there was no response.
                            Later on 8th of december i got an email that the services have been stopped and if you use it later you will be charged at some rate. I was assured that finally its been stopped.

                            Again after on and a half month i got an email with a bill saying you have to pay 392/- amount since its pending from long. 292 + 100 (Late pay fee). I was shocked and called up tikona people again, again they said that ma'am sorry for the inconvenience it has been resolved you will not be charged anything and will not getting any emails or messages.

                            But this was not the end, again i kept on getting emails from[protected]...This is april and i am really frustrated with the bills i am getting every day asking me to pay higher amount than before.

                            I called up tikona every month and every time they say its been solved, and today again it was committed that its been solved. This time i asked the person to take away some device that he has installed outside my flat, i am not sure what it is. And then the person said ma'am to get the device removed and for the bills to stop, please continue the services and take it for an year and later we will remove it if the there is still issue with network (That is joke for sure... But no he wasn't kidding). I asked him to take payment for 292/- which is a bill until 8th dec-2015 and stop it right away, for late pay charges i am not responsible since tikona delayed from there end, tikona miscommunicated from there end. But the person was smart enough and threatened me saying, "if you don't pay this much then we wont disconnect it and you will keep getting bills. And if you take a plan of any year i will levy off the 400/- extra from your bill." so choice is yours either pay whatever we are asking or continue the services and keep getting fooled by us.

                            Tikona is a company full of fraud and criminal people, fooling the customers, and asking looting them for having committed a mistake o[censored]sing tikona.

                            This is heights of irresponsible attitude, heights of fraudulent acts.

                            Please some body help. I am sick of tikona.

                            Ps: i had some amount extra in tikona's account on my name, which they haven't adjusted as well.

                            Solution: i request you to stop the services immediately, take your device away from my building, remove my emails and phone numbers from your database. Levy off the bill against my name.

                              I am chezhian (Tikona customer id - [protected]) living in alandur, chennai. I have been using tikona services since august 2015. (But at this time i would have moved out to some other good internet service provider, again its my bad and still suffering with this worst service) from the month of august 2015 to till date, i would have raised atleast 100 concerns or complaints about the connectivity. All that i am getting back, is a predefined sentences from customer care staffs saying "the issue will be resolved in 8 working hours" or else "we will assign a technical person who will visit your premises on tomorrow and will fix the issues". All these were just statements, they never sent any person to my home to attend the problem.
                              I lost the connectivity on march 21, 2016 and called them multiple times and raised the concern. Still now, the issue is not resolved, all that they are saying there is some major tower problem, they decided to install a new tower in my area. So the issue will be resolved in 6 working days, said on march 27, 2016. I am not sure that they are following regular calendar or they are thinking that they still have few days left for 6 working days. After multiple asks, they arranged a call back service from their senior executives who called me on april 6th and told that the issue will be resolved on or before april 15th. Even i replied, the wait time is already over, i am not a fool to still waiting for this worst connectivity so i have already started looking for other subscribers. He added that the issue will be resolved on or before the said date and he agreed to move out to some other subscriber if the issue is not resolved on april 15th.
                              On top of all these, the technical persons whoever was assigned to visit my premises are real cheaters. They never made a visit or attended the problem but we will receive a sms stating "the technical issue for the user id ******** has been attended". You just think off if you get this message when no one has made any progress against the issue raised. I am completely frustrated with this connection. Now i am realizing that why i had taken such a useless connection and wasting my time and money.

                                I have been using tikona since last two years, initially it provided good service but these days they aren't taking and listening to any complaint seriously. I have lost network connectivity one week before. And till now the problem is same abd haven't been resolved. They assigned tech engineer who came, and visited my address. But still the problem remains same. I have been bothering and complaining since last one week, but they aren't taking their job seriously. I have some really important college and office pending works and they are just on standby for more than a week. So for how many days one could wait. Tech services should be fast enough so that no one work get disturbed. Sir please take this issue seriously, as I am really harrassed of again and again complaining and listening the same bunch of words from their end. There should be a strict action against these companies who messes with their customer.                                   At 6:55 AM I called tikona customer care for connectivity issue. I kept calling them till 6:44 PM. Most of the time I get to hear that there is some server issue and it will be rectified with in 2 hours. I was shocked by the statement of one of the executive. He told that he found my network to be fine, however there was still connectivity issue. One of them told me that he will redirect my call to the senior engineer, but he had redirected it to the general technical support team. They do not care about the customer at all. I had very important work today, but it was delayed because of these people. Even I had an online exam session which I could not attempt because of the careless attitude of these people.
                                  From 7th of April till date, I have not received a single a single call from Tikona. Today I got one, that too for the payment of the bill. On 18th, the executive told me that he will arrange an senior engineer visit and book a request for call back. But it has been two days now, but no call from them.

                                    My Tikona Used ID is :[protected].
                                    I had paid Rs 4382 on[protected] and taken connection from Tikona of 210GB download at 4 MBPS speed. The connection was pathetic and several complaints were raised for the connection issues, for which many a times i had to wait for days for resolution.
                                    The last bill i paid was on[protected] and Rs 1953, which makes the connection validity till 15 Jan 2016, since that was my date of taking connection. I got relocated from the address which i had taken connection from on 10th Jan 2016 and had sent them a mail asking for disconnection of the services and have not received any response from them. Even then they have been sending mails asking for money and has also generated the bill the next months i.e for Feb & March. When they take money prior to providing services, why do they need to generate bill for next months. I used the services after paying them the money till the validity of the services. They haven't completed their cancellation process for 3 months now and continued to generate bill even though I am not using their internet or not even staying in the address. They are now calling and harassing for the payment, also has been sending loads of messages asking for the payment of the services which i have not used.

                                      I have been getting calls from some lawyer Manish meena from Tikona (Numbers-[protected] ) threatening me that a case had been filed in the Delhi court and that I would need to visit the Delhi court or the police will take action against me. They say it is for the so called pending bill of Rs 1407 something and that they had filed a case against me. I have been receiving calls persistently from someone threatening me about the case. This is extremely annoying. I am extremely fed up with these threatening calls every now and then.

                                      This is to bring to your notice that i raised a request for disconnection in month of dec 2015 by talking to your customer care dept and confirmed that there were no dues. I have got one legal notice and phone in jan 2016 to pay 1000/- as full and final payment calls. I have paid the amount through net banking (transaction id- [protected]TPC[protected] amount- 1000/-.. ) i have got acknowledgwment copy on 16 jan 2016.

                                      when I try to call tikona care, the call is not taken and the IVRS system says I will get a call in next 48 hours which I never got.

                                      There is no pending bills that I am due for. I have also returned the POE adapter to tikona.

                                      So please stop harassing the customers by such lawyers or recovery agents. Hope there is no jungle raj of tikona in India.

                                      There is much discrepancy in Customer service from Tikona's part. Please resolve this immediately

                                      Till date i have not received any call from your team. Moreover i am getting threatning calls from some advocate. This is totally a jungle raj.
