For last 20 days i have been continuously complaining about loss of connectivity / slow speed. Their call center is highly inefficient. They have no knowledge of the issue and just make false promises without any action. Nobody from their side even inform you anything and they just close the complaint marking it as resolved. I have talked to their so called senior people as well and they are all the same. It is a real shame that we have such service providers in india. All consumers just shun such incompetent and fraud service provide so that their shop go bust and they go bankrupt.

This post is to warn all new service seekers to be beware of them. If you want a peaceful life, stay away from tikona internet.

    I had taken tikona broadband connection in month of september- 6/9/2015 and paid in advance for 3 months 3056/-

    I was not getting proper connection and every day there was some issue with network. I had filed complaint several times but i dint not get any solution. I decided to discontinue the server in month of november. I called to the customer care person and requested to stop the services on 25th of november 2015, i was assured by the lady that it will not be charged any penny extra and services would be stopped, but nothing happened. I again dropped an email on 29th november 2015 and requested to stop the services, again there was no response.
    Later on 8th of december i got an email that the services have been stopped and if you use it later you will be charged at some rate. I was assured that finally its been stopped.

    Again after on and a half month i got an email with a bill saying you have to pay 392/- amount since its pending from long. 292 + 100 (Late pay fee). I was shocked and called up tikona people again, again they said that ma'am sorry for the inconvenience it has been resolved you will not be charged anything and will not getting any emails or messages.

    But this was not the end, again i kept on getting emails from[protected]...This is april and i am really frustrated with the bills i am getting every day asking me to pay higher amount than before.

    I called up tikona every month and every time they say its been solved, and today again it was committed that its been solved. This time i asked the person to take away some device that he has installed outside my flat, i am not sure what it is. And then the person said ma'am to get the device removed and for the bills to stop, please continue the services and take it for an year and later we will remove it if the there is still issue with network (That is joke for sure... But no he wasn't kidding). I asked him to take payment for 292/- which is a bill until 8th dec-2015 and stop it right away, for late pay charges i am not responsible since tikona delayed from there end, tikona miscommunicated from there end. But the person was smart enough and threatened me saying, "if you don't pay this much then we wont disconnect it and you will keep getting bills. And if you take a plan of any year i will levy off the 400/- extra from your bill." so choice is yours either pay whatever we are asking or continue the services and keep getting fooled by us.

    Tikona is a company full of fraud and criminal people, fooling the customers, and asking looting them for having committed a mistake o[censored]sing tikona.

    This is heights of irresponsible attitude, heights of fraudulent acts.

    Please some body help. I am sick of tikona.

    Ps: i had some amount extra in tikona's account on my name, which they haven't adjusted as well.

    Solution: i request you to stop the services immediately, take your device away from my building, remove my emails and phone numbers from your database. Levy off the bill against my name.

      I am chezhian (Tikona customer id - [protected]) living in alandur, chennai. I have been using tikona services since august 2015. (But at this time i would have moved out to some other good internet service provider, again its my bad and still suffering with this worst service) from the month of august 2015 to till date, i would have raised atleast 100 concerns or complaints about the connectivity. All that i am getting back, is a predefined sentences from customer care staffs saying "the issue will be resolved in 8 working hours" or else "we will assign a technical person who will visit your premises on tomorrow and will fix the issues". All these were just statements, they never sent any person to my home to attend the problem.
      I lost the connectivity on march 21, 2016 and called them multiple times and raised the concern. Still now, the issue is not resolved, all that they are saying there is some major tower problem, they decided to install a new tower in my area. So the issue will be resolved in 6 working days, said on march 27, 2016. I am not sure that they are following regular calendar or they are thinking that they still have few days left for 6 working days. After multiple asks, they arranged a call back service from their senior executives who called me on april 6th and told that the issue will be resolved on or before april 15th. Even i replied, the wait time is already over, i am not a fool to still waiting for this worst connectivity so i have already started looking for other subscribers. He added that the issue will be resolved on or before the said date and he agreed to move out to some other subscriber if the issue is not resolved on april 15th.
      On top of all these, the technical persons whoever was assigned to visit my premises are real cheaters. They never made a visit or attended the problem but we will receive a sms stating "the technical issue for the user id ******** has been attended". You just think off if you get this message when no one has made any progress against the issue raised. I am completely frustrated with this connection. Now i am realizing that why i had taken such a useless connection and wasting my time and money.

        I have been using tikona since last two years, initially it provided good service but these days they aren't taking and listening to any complaint seriously. I have lost network connectivity one week before. And till now the problem is same abd haven't been resolved. They assigned tech engineer who came, and visited my address. But still the problem remains same. I have been bothering and complaining since last one week, but they aren't taking their job seriously. I have some really important college and office pending works and they are just on standby for more than a week. So for how many days one could wait. Tech services should be fast enough so that no one work get disturbed. Sir please take this issue seriously, as I am really harrassed of again and again complaining and listening the same bunch of words from their end. There should be a strict action against these companies who messes with their customer.           Your team has noted many times and has been working from 2 months on the same issue. How can I be assured. Its working fine now but I do not know how long it will be fine.

          At 6:55 AM I called tikona customer care for connectivity issue. I kept calling them till 6:44 PM. Most of the time I get to hear that there is some server issue and it will be rectified with in 2 hours. I was shocked by the statement of one of the executive. He told that he found my network to be fine, however there was still connectivity issue. One of them told me that he will redirect my call to the senior engineer, but he had redirected it to the general technical support team. They do not care about the customer at all. I had very important work today, but it was delayed because of these people. Even I had an online exam session which I could not attempt because of the careless attitude of these people.
          From 7th of April till date, I have not received a single a single call from Tikona. Today I got one, that too for the payment of the bill. On 18th, the executive told me that he will arrange an senior engineer visit and book a request for call back. But it has been two days now, but no call from them.

            Hi,

            My Tikona Used ID is :[protected].
            I had paid Rs 4382 on[protected] and taken connection from Tikona of 210GB download at 4 MBPS speed. The connection was pathetic and several complaints were raised for the connection issues, for which many a times i had to wait for days for resolution.
            The last bill i paid was on[protected] and Rs 1953, which makes the connection validity till 15 Jan 2016, since that was my date of taking connection. I got relocated from the address which i had taken connection from on 10th Jan 2016 and had sent them a mail asking for disconnection of the services and have not received any response from them. Even then they have been sending mails asking for money and has also generated the bill the next months i.e for Feb & March. When they take money prior to providing services, why do they need to generate bill for next months. I used the services after paying them the money till the validity of the services. They haven't completed their cancellation process for 3 months now and continued to generate bill even though I am not using their internet or not even staying in the address. They are now calling and harassing for the payment, also has been sending loads of messages asking for the payment of the services which i have not used.

            I am still getting the messages and is again charged for the next month. Why should i pay any amount, when i had stopped using the connection on 10th of Jan 2016. And the payment was done in December for Jan month's subscription.

              I was holding a tikona connection with user ID: [protected]

              I have been getting calls from some lawyer Manish meena from Tikona (Numbers-[protected] ) threatening me that a case had been filed in the Delhi court and that I would need to visit the Delhi court or the police will take action against me. They say it is for the so called pending bill of Rs 1407 something and that they had filed a case against me. I have been receiving calls persistently from someone threatening me about the case. This is extremely annoying. I am extremely fed up with these threatening calls every now and then.

              This is to bring to your notice that i raised a request for disconnection in month of dec 2015 by talking to your customer care dept and confirmed that there were no dues. I have got one legal notice and phone in jan 2016 to pay 1000/- as full and final payment calls. I have paid the amount through net banking (transaction id- [protected]TPC[protected] amount- 1000/-.. ) i have got acknowledgwment copy on 16 jan 2016.

              when I try to call tikona care, the call is not taken and the IVRS system says I will get a call in next 48 hours which I never got.

              There is no pending bills that I am due for. I have also returned the POE adapter to tikona.

              So please stop harassing the customers by such lawyers or recovery agents. Hope there is no jungle raj of tikona in India.

              There is much discrepancy in Customer service from Tikona's part. Please resolve this immediately

                My name is ketan and my tikona user id is - [protected]. I am from new naroda, ahmedabad.

                I am from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I am having complaint about Tikona Broadband Internet service since long time. I have purchased 500GB plan for 2 years and paid Rs.8000 in advance. I have been promised 4mbps speed from tikona when i bought plan by Sales person.

                My complaint is all about not giving promised internet speed and disconnection of internet all the time. When I am disconnected or speed issue from internet then i call tikona customer care. Customer care people do not give satisfy answers.

                Tikona Wireless broadband has provided me User id and Password to get internet at home. It logs me out all the time and frustrates me all the time. When i call about this login and logout issues, they give me funny answer that security reason they log me out. How can i concentrate on my work if they logs me out every hour.

                I kindly request you to take strict action against Tikona wireless Broadband service for not giving promised speed and not solving problem permanently.

                  Respected Sir,

                  I am using Tikona Broadband connection from last 4 months. They had promised to provide me a data speed of 4 mbps throughout till I have consumed my 30 GB data.

                  For the first three months it worked really well, I was using it day and night. Now from the last month I had been facing issues at night, it does not even opens the lightest google page. I am a working personal and have installed the data pack for some of my personal and business stuffs. And non-connectivity hampers my work a lot, sometimes it costs me a great deal.

                  I have mailed my request to the Tikona Customer Care but sighting no response I am compelled to complain about this negligence and the problems it causes.

                  Kindly look into this matter as soon as possible. I am a facing lot of issues when I have to work on some projects of mine and there is no connectivity.

                    I got tikona connection in aug 2015 and but not a single day went by that i didn't have service issues and i have to make calls everyday for no connectivity and after getting tired of daily hassle i mailed them to disconnected and also requested the same on calls when didnt get proper reply on mail.I had paid for two months in advance that should cover for aug and september and i had no usage in september and they still didn't disconnect the service and kept on generating bills and sending me mails that they can see my usage.I repeatedly called to cancel the service and i told i will not pay because i have not used the data
                    Today on 6.4.2016 i got a call from some anjana sharma from tis hazari court on behalf of narendra kalra advocate that they will file a case.
                    I dnt understand it is tikona who should pay me the refund as their connection didnt work why should i pay fr months i didnt use the service.I mailed them but i get message that my email id is not registered.My user id is [protected].
                    What should be my course of action here?

                    I' m thinking to file legal case on tikona.
                    Yes i am also thinking that if i get any notice or anything like that then i will also consider a legal action against them.there are so many people who have same issue.we must all do it together.and teach them a lesson

                      I was using tikona network i was fed up calling customer support for internet speed and most of times itnernet was not comingi took 2247/- aprox plan for 3 months and after that i was helpless because i paid advance money and couldn't get it changed and get my money back . And at the end of 3 months when frustration was going over head i decided to switch my internet connection and then i called customer support regularly for a disconnection they didn't came on line for more than 30 minuts hold of lines it was frustrating. Than i switched off my lan and next day got airtel and results were awesome on airtel network got good speed internet and calls as well . After 2 months they keep calling me saying 1600 aprox bill you have to pay and increasing every month . My tikona id was [protected] .

                      Now i am getting calls first call was calling from mumbai session court and was fake threating me and started absuing me it was hrashment case .
                      Next call i got karkardooma court he said
                      Today i got a call from a number which is [protected] which is from tiknoa saying i am calling from tees hajari court i have a summon against your name and all

                      All i want to highlight you people is stay away from tikona digital networks company they are frauds their internet never comes and they will never disconnect your connection you will end up frustrated and hrashed like me

                        My Plan ADBBM599 Has Almost 2 Mbps Of Speed Though My Download Speed Is 0.41 Kbps/Upload Speed Is 0.23 Kbps And Latency Is 16 MS I Have Enquired To Customer Care Number But It Doesn't Have A Good Effect On My Speed.My Internet Also Get's Turn Off And On Because Of Router I Think Kindly Check To My Issue.

                          I have closed my Tikona account - by paying all overdue balances. I have also sent an email to the Tikona customer service informing them about the bill payment. However even after that I am receiving SMS messages about a new bill being generated. The company is making repeated calls asking for the new bill to be paid. they even threatened to make a Legal complaint regarding this.

                            Kindly note that I mentioned full waiver due to non-availability of service. Tikona has no right to charge a customer if the services are not provided. I have stated this several times that I did not get full internet services in the month of November, 2015 and I contacted customer care, talked to engineers but to no avail.

                            That led to a big personal loss as I was fired from my company which accounted for me going into severe depression ultimately leading to bad health. I am on medication since the last 3-4 months and I'm still undergoing treatment.

                            Now, I'm being constantly harassed by emails and SMSes for payment of certain dues for the month of November. Let me be very clear here. I'm not going to pay that amount since I did/could not use the services. So I once again, very politely, ask you to waiver off the outstanding amount. This will end our last association amicably and I may opt for Tikona in future.

                            Having said that, I would also not shy away from taking legal action against Tikona for charging for non-available services, causing monetary loss and above all leading to my severe medical condition.

                            I sincerely hope this email reaches the concerned authority and proper action is taken promptly. I have always been a very loyal customer and my records would reflect that I paid my dues in time. Unless compelled, I would not want to part ways unpleasantly.

                            I sent this email to Tikona to waiver off my outstanding bill since they are charging me for the services I couldn't use due to bad connectivity and some problem in Tikona's servers. I was told that the outstanding amount will be waivered but still I'm gettting emails and SMSes about the bill. They keep on adding late fees to it.

                            This incident happened in November, 2015 when I was working from home for a startup. I couldn't submit my work due to bad internet connectivity. I called several times, the engineer visited my place but couldn't resolve the issue.

                            Based on their own admission I requested for termination of Tikona Internet services on 30th November, 2015. I disconnected router and took off the roof top device since I started using Airtel in December. Now they want me to pay for the entire billing cycle and they also added late fees to it which is totally unfair since the dispute is still ongoing. The way Tikona is handling the issue it seems I would never even think o[censored]sing it again.

                            A little understanding and human reply from someone might have convinced me otherwise but they just doesn't seem to care. Also, I get missed calls from Tikona and immediately after I get an email stating that I couldn't be reached by phone. This is not the right way of treating customers.

                            So I got an email from Tikona on April 16th, 2015 stating:

                            "This is with reference to your email request (1-[protected]) regarding service disconnection.

                            We would like to inform you that, we have attached Rs.300.00/- as late fee charge waiver in your Tikona account on date 16-April-2016.

                            "If the billing period under consideration is 26-Nov-2015 to 26-Dec-2015 and I requested for termination on 30-Nov-2015 then isn't it unfair to charge me for an entire month?

                            I stopped using Tikona soon after my request for termination and I even disconnected the router and even took down the roof top device. Your records will show that too. Also, when you charge on a pro-rata basis when a new connection is installed outside of the billing cycle then why shouldn't you charge in the same way on termination?

                            In all fairness, I should be charged for 26th to 30th of November, 2015 or at most say a week or 10 days. Why the entire month when I didn't use it?

                            My computer has records of internet access. I can present it wherever needed.

                            I hope you will not drag it further than it already had been.

                            I thought I was clear enough in my email and my complaints about my grievances but such is not the case it seems. Tikona has resorted to envy against a customer. I got this email today from them.

                            "This is a system generated Email, please do not reply to this mail. Kindly refer to the customer care details provided in the mail below.

                            Dear Customer - MANSOOR KHAN.

                            Tikona broadband User ID: [protected] registered against your name is terminated.

                            Mentioned below are the outstanding details for your Billing Account no.[protected]

                            Total Amount Payable (Without Termination Penalty): Rs. 966.25

                            Total Amount Payable (With Termination Penalty): Rs. 2466.25

                            On account of service discontinuation due to non-payment, you shall compulsorily return all the modems in working condition. In the event of not being able to deliver the modem to the company in 7 days from the date of this email failing which Termination Penalty charges of Rs.1500/- will be levied on your account as per terms & condition mentioned in Subscriber Registration Form.

                            Please call our ISP coordinator to return our device.

                            You can contact our authorized representative Karam Ali at [protected] for returning the Modem

                            So instead of resolving my complaint and trying to be understanding, they have resorted to threatening emails.
                            I have never in my life faced such humiliation by any service provider anywhere. A few years ago, I had a similar dispute with Airtel Broadband, but after several email and some days, they listened to me, understood my problem and finally waived the unnecessary amount from the outstanding bill.

                            It's a shame I had to drag this dispute in open and still no proper representation from Tikona.

                            Anyways, I am gonna close this off and I am gonna pay them since I do not want this to make a matter of my ego. I have already wasted months on this.

                            I am sure people will take note.

                              My name is Rakesh, I am using Tikona from half an year. Recently I started facing problems with connectivity. Daily there will be network outage for 4-5 times. And it will get connected only after calling Tikona Care.
                              Now my internet is not working from April 03 2016, when I call to customer care there is no proper response from them. They always say it is under observation of their network team and will be resolved within 8 working hours, but no action taken till now. As of now I had raised more than 10 tickets but there is no proper resolution for any.

                                I have applied new tikona broadband connection in month of jan. Engineer visited to my house and checked the feasibility as per their process and finalized other formalities. Wiring and other installation was done and so as payment was also made on the same day. User id was allotted later on but quite surprisingly i was not able to access internet/services not even once. Later on i was told that there are some technical issues and area was declared as non feasible. Meanwhile they have generated bill of 1836/- for the period passed since installation of services.I literally feeling like looted after this. It is more than 2 months passed, i still to start/ access services i have mailed issue many times lodged complaint on toll free no but all went in vain and issue still prevails till date. Their mumbai office keep calling once in a week and insist to stick to their service even after such poor services. I simply used to tell them you please refund my money if you can't provide me services. How much time i shall supposed to wait for such a petty issue. I need my money back. I am following from last two months, i can not follow up any more.
                                Hopefully this forum will be helpful to resolve my issue.

                                  Hi victims of tikona fraud model :
                                  I intend to share this for the future fellow victims of tikona. If you have taken tikona you have already stepped into the trap. Tikona has a hardened fraud model to extort from it departing customers.
                                  If you are going for a disconnection please note the below points :
                                  1. Raise disconnection request well ahead 1 month of your bill-cycle end date.(Though trai directs disconnection within 7 days/ but who cares for trai when even trai doesn’t care)
                                  2. Speed post written mail(Hard copy, signed) to mumbai-tikona headoffice (I am not sure how much a electronic mail is held valid in court)
                                  3. Send the same signed mail in fax to tikona(Keep the fax receipt)
                                  4. Obviously you will send electronic mail request for disconnection ( but they won’t respond & confirm to that in anyway)
                                  5. Understand the actual trap now: disconnection in tikona does not mean deactivation of your user-id. And tikona mentions that it can charge you on your user-id after disconnection based on further usage. Now how will you deny further usage & prove non-usage ? Very tough !
                                  6. Hence only option (If you want prove non-usage in court) – return the tikona device asap before the end of your bill-cycle
                                  7. Now this is the tough part : customer care will talk all the non-sense things, will irritate you infinite times, and tell you all the false stories (Like device is free/tikona doesn’t collect device/transfer the connection); do not & do not trust the customer care.
                                  8. You need to return the device and collect receipt in tikona letterpad with dates before the end of bill-cycle, keep photo id proof of the device collector.
                                  9. Mail the soft-copy of the receipt to tikona again, and ask them to disconnect & deactivate.
                                  10. After this happens, and after another 3-4 calls + 2 weeks you might receive full & final settlement letter from tikona.
                                  11. For me i fought hard for 20 days, posted in all consumer forums, and gone mad by no-response stand + false promises from customer care. The customer care will never ever confirm your request on mail. So do not trust whatever they say.
                                  12. I have learned from the trend that the customer care is well trained & instructed to exactly follow the fraud/trapping model, it can not happen by mistake or by chance.
                                  13. After all this also if one gets a fraud bill, one can atleast raise a case against tikona, instead of tikona scaring the indian citizens with all cheat advocate calls from the indian capital delhi.
                                  14. So gist - speed post mail+fax+email - return device before end of bill cycle - keep receipt+collector id+video(If you can) - post in consumer forums - fight with customer care - blame yourself for taking tikona without seeing review

                                    Tikona is a fraud company.. I have connectivity issue since i got tikona connection.Say in a day 5 times and after 2 days it lost for a long time sometimes 12 to 24 hrs. I used to call customer support but they don't listen me carefully and give me a memorized answer every time that sir! You have a back end problem, your problem will be solved in next 24 hrs. Please guys don't go for tikona. I have done this mistake after i read all negative issue but install it for cheap plan.. But it's a pain to you when you have a internet but can not use it

                                      My ID NUM:[protected] I have provide a completed regarding yours speed actually I have taking a your plan 450, 2Mbps plan l am also Consum primary data and that time use secondary data 512KBS but I have not surfing a normal sits just like to fb, watsup, google page and YouTube and you speed metar shows a speed-downlod speed 14Mbps and surfing speed 4MBS but you are cheated to me and I have normly speed taken to my system 4 to 5kbps download and surfing also same . and lot of complete given to customers care but not provided satisfie resolution... And one more cheate to me your company provider first time given a plan 600 for 4MBS plan and provide a information your monthly belies paid to same many including a all TeX but my new belies receive 689 rupes that's way I have convert a plan 450 and facing a lot of speed problem if you are not provide a properly resolve a my speed problem than I am complaining to consumer foram against your company...

                                        Tikona broadband User ID [protected]
                                        I have taken prepaid plan and paid 2166 INR approx on date (09-Sep-2015) for 2 months in advance. Due their poor service. I decided to disconnect the Tikona service and called many time but no one picking up my call then I mailed Them. but no response.
                                        Tikona convert Prepaid to Postpaid without any notice

                                        after one month I called and mailed any how one Agent received my call and I told them to refund my money and close my connection as soon as possible but they not interested in disconnection.
                                        After 4 days tikona recover officer called me and offer me to dont close the connection I will give you one year of free service I told them that I am not interested in your offer, I just want to close my connection. they said ok I will take you request in 72 hrs we will close your connection.

                                        but this is not happened they still sending bill and wants more money. last six months they generate bill and increases the money in every month.
                                        They also give threatening from there side pay the bill other wise we will case you.

                                        BEWARE OF TIKONA FRAUD MODEL !
                                        Hi Victims of Tikona Fraud Model :
                                        I intend to share this for the future fellow victims of TIKONA. If you have taken TIKONA you have already stepped into the TRAP. Tikona has a hardened fraud model to extort from it departing customers.
                                        If you are going for a disconnection please note the below points :
                                        1. Raise disconnection request well ahead 1 month of your bill-cycle end date.(though TRAI directs disconnection within 7 days/ but who cares for TRAI when even TRAI doesn’t care)
                                        2. Speed Post written mail(hard copy, signed) to mumbai-Tikona headoffice (I am not sure how much a electronic mail is held valid in court)
                                        3. Send the same signed mail in FAX to TIKONA(keep the fax receipt)
                                        4. Obviously you will send electronic mail request for disconnection ( but they won’t respond & confirm to that in anyway)
                                        5. Understand the actual trap now: Disconnection in Tikona does not mean deactivation of your user-id. And Tikona mentions that it can charge you on your user-id after disconnection based on further usage. Now How will you deny further Usage & prove non-usage ? Very Tough !
                                        6. Hence only option (if you want prove non-usage in court) – Return the Tikona Device asap before the end of your bill-cycle
                                        7. Now this is the tough part : Customer Care will talk all the non-sense things, will irritate you infinite times, and tell you all the false stories (like device is free/tikona doesn’t collect device/transfer the connection); DO NOT & DO NOT TRUST THE CUSTOMER CARE.
                                        8. YOU NEED TO RETURN THE DEVICE AND COLLECT RECEIPT IN TIKONA LETTERPAD with dates before the end of bill-cycle, Keep photo id proof of the device collector.
                                        9. Mail the soft-copy of the receipt to TIKONA again, and ask them to disconnect & deactivate.
                                        10. After this happens, and after another 3-4 calls + 2 weeks you might receive FULL & FINAL settlement letter from TIKONA.
                                        11. For me I fought hard for 20 days, posted in all consumer forums, and gone mad by no-response stand + false promises from customer care. The customer care will never ever confirm your request on mail. So do not trust whatever they say.
                                        12. I have learned from the trend that the customer care is well trained & instructed to exactly follow the FRAUD/TRAPPING MODEL, it can not happen by mistake or by chance.
                                        13. After all this also if one gets a Fraud bill, one can atleast raise a case against TIKONA, instead of TIKONA scaring the INDIAN citizens with all cheat advocate calls from the INDIAN CAPITAL DELHI.
                                        14. So gist -> Speed Post Mail+Fax+email -> Return Device before end of bill cycle -> Keep receipt+collector ID+video(if you can) -> post in consumer forums -> Fight with customer care -> BLAME YOURSELF FOR TAKING TIKONA WITHOUT SEEING REVIEW
