I have requested the tikona service provider to close my connection in the month of october due to their poor service. Inspite of requesting them several times, they have not closed, instead several reminder mails received from them to pay the dues.

But i clearly informed them several times to check the connection & take away the device. But the same was not done from their end.

Now, i got a call from one of the customer care executive (mobile no. : [protected]) saying they are taking legal action on me & informed me they will block my passport/debit/credit cards.

I don't know what basis they will do all these things. I have attached the complaint mails sent to the tikona care.

Please take necessary action against them for harrasing.

    Myself Amit Kumar, Tikona ID [protected],
    I took connection of tikona on 18 jan 2016, and paid an amount of 3040, on feb 22nd i applied for address change, but tikona was unable to provide services on relocated area, as per tikona engineers instructions i applied for disconnection on same day. On 27th Feb 2016 Tikona engineer picked the modem.

    As I talked to tikona customer care, executive told me the reimbursable amount is 1450/- and you will get an mail and amount from tikona within 10 days, but its about a month passed, i contacted several times the tikona care but my problem is still not resolved. In tikona's first mail in 11 march 2016, they told that i'm liable to pay Rs. 1, 500/- as penalty as I failed to failed to surrender the modem even after several intimation from our end. as i requested them again telephony and by mail, they mailed today that payable amount is zero but did not mentioned any reimbursement.
    Tikona is harassing me and wasting my valuable time. I want reimbursement of the amount I paid extra.

      I got my connection (User id - [protected]) this Monday, 14/3/2016. Since then I am not getting Internet access. Every time I have to call the customer support and after lots of trouble the internet will start working but after some time it will again stop working. Every time I want to use internet I have to repeat same process. They are not sending anyone even though I have requested so many times. I did a huge mistake by changing my service provider. Either you send someone to see whats wrong or refund my money.

        I have been using this Tikona $$$ for a year or so . Its a nightmare!!! Every week there will be some or other issue and it will take days to fix !!! Coming to my last incident . I started facing the network problem on 28th of FEB 2016 . On the same day I made a complained and they have informed its due to network and will be fixed with in 24 hours. Looks like someone closed the ticket after few days stating " Issue resolved " . But the issue is not resolved yet now. Today is 19th March.. and they are still facing the same " Tower issue ".

        So on 3rd march I gave a call, then I came to know the previous ticket is closed and issue is still persists. As usual I got the same response " Sir, your issue will be resolved in next 8/24 hours " lol . I guess they keep the customer care to just to repeat " Sir your issue will be resolved soon " !!!

        Unfortunately I dont have any other option than Tikona in my area! :( yea, I do keep a 3G Dongle with me so that I get connected always :) you can never trust Tikona!!! so its always better to have a backup.

        Again 9th March, I made a call! spoke to Rahul Chowdary . yea got the same response again. network.. will be fixed soon!!!

        On 16th April, I spoke with Sup Team, his name was Adithya .. He looked in to previous case and informed the issue re-occurred again !!! Though they never fixed at the first time :)

        My plan is 80GB for Rs.1300+ They gave me waiver of just Rs.400
        for 15 days. the billing cycle for me is from 16th to 15th .. This really sucks !!! they have the network issue and I still have to pay the money !!!

        Today is 29th March, Its been a month !!! My first complaint was registered on 28th Feb and the issue still persist . No action was performed by Tikona team to resolve the issue ... The only thing they say is " with in 24 hours your issue will be resolved "

          I had requested for disconnection of my tikona id [protected] in July-August 2015 when I was going out of town I was requested by customer service to keep it as they will freeze it. however I told them I'm not sure if I will come back. this was well before the bill gets generated. however I got a call from tikona technical department stating that I can also transfer the connection to some friend. I gave them my friends reference. this process took more than 30 days for them. as I received a bill . I again contacted customer care where the said they will call me back I was assured that there is no use for that time they will revert my bill. post that I did not received there call. however after some months I'm received harassment calls from few people claiming the are advocates with a very bad language asking me to make bill payment.

          in between the 30 days of transfer I had given the installed cable as well as the instrument which was install in my building, they never said I owe any bill. post that I received multiple calls from tikona customer service regarding my outstanding will b waived. also from technical department. however I have been received multiple harassment calls from different people at work hours. claiming that they are advocates and also from cibil department. I have made the online payment as it difficult to attend the calls at work hours. my payment confirmation number is TPC[protected]. however I want the refund of the wrong billed amount. this is complete fraud from tikona. I want the refund

            Every day we are facing a problem in internet connectivity. It shows request time out message while ping. If we complaint they says it will resolve in 24 hours. Once problem resolved it again arise after 1 or 2 days. We are facing problem till i have taken the connection. So you are requested to resolve it as soon as possible.

              I am facing Internet connectivity issue for last 3 months. During day times I get interrupted service with dull speed. While at night there will be no service/connectivity at all.

              I have raised several complaints however there is no proper resolution to it.
              On the other hand I have to make payment for the service that I am not receiving properly.

              I wrote a mail to get the service disconnected. For that as well I did not received any email from them.

                  Hi team,
                  I have been using tikona bb past one year and first 3 months i didn't face any issue with bb .August 15 onwards issues started like intermittent disconnect, buffering issue, slow browsing and biggest challenge is getting line to customer care team . Time i need to spend 1/2hr to 45 minute.
                  Once issue was highlighted to your team, they will check with backend team and response like no issues with our end check the laptop, issue may with your hardware .Etc. Again i need to explain the issue but there we not getting proper support. Every month same issues happening but i'm not getting proper support.
                  13th march (1-[protected]) i raised ticket for buffering issue /slowness and customer care team confirmed that tikona engineer will visit and resolve issue at home, but so far no one reached. Again from yesterday afternoon onwards bb connectivity not enabled, i'm not getting signal .So today i raised ticket (1-[protected]) but i don't when this issue will address.
                  During today i asked customer care team why 13th march ticket is not addressed. Your team given excellent response “anyway today you raised ticket with tikona and they check address the issues” and line got disconnected from customer care team end.

                    I installed tikona connection UID: [protected] on 14th March 2015 by paying rs 1970. From the beginning i had some
                    techinical issues which later on got bigger. My second payment to Tikona is of Rs 146 on 21/May/2015.

                    List of compalints with Tikona with their complaint ID

                    Complaint No: 1-[protected] without contacting me the issue was resolved as per TIKONA
                    and issue was never resolved. I send a mail regards to it on 21st June for disconnection
                    since the connection was not working from past 20 days but engineer failed to fix it
                    and the issue was resolved as per the ticket and ticket was closed

                    Diconnection Req No: 1-[protected]
                    this issue was again resolved mentioned in the notes customer was not reachable

                    then towards i used to receive mails from Tikona for overdue payment but how could i pay
                    and to whom could i pay if my connection is not working.

                    Again i tried mailing and tried contacting customer care but no positive response
                    i might have made around 100s of calls to fix my coonnection but received only bills and false
                    promises.

                    Again i wrote an email on 03/Sept/2015 to reactivate the services with the
                    Request No: 1-[protected]

                    Several mails and calls but internet connection wasn't fixed and i received an email
                    of Rs1422 to pay that to without using

                    After talking to customer service executive that payment would be reversed
                    if there is non-usage or interneet wasn't working and i can reactivate my account

                    So, I made the payment of Rs 1422 on[protected] and great thing happened.
                    No body contacted me, and i had to start to chase the customer care again
                    and schedule the engineer visit, that to happened after few days then a very strange thing happened
                    My area was declared No Coverage Area and i cannot use the service, that is after the payment.

                    The real mental torcher started then, I used to received calls from Tikona recovery Department
                    claiming that they are calling from Delhi High Court or Tis Hazari Court.

                    Advocate Under: Karan Gujral
                    Case No: DLC20038AB Aman Goenka-209 16th march 2016

                    Caller was very abusive and threaten me to pay the amount or else they will take legal action

                    Same day i received call from Karan Gujral to pay the amount of Rs1800 or else I would have to pay Rs18000 later on etc

                    I am really fed up and i would try every possible effort to get my money back of Rs1422
                    I am ready to return the deivce but once on a written promise that my money of Rs1422 would be received

                      Just got a call from [protected], she was claiming that she is an advocate.
                      Now telling the story about Tikona. Connection was always broken. Due to which I requested to close the connection . I marked request on 21ST JUNE 2015 but connection was closed after more than 15 days. I paid the bill for full month. After that I returned every device but again they sent me the penalty bill . why should I pay the penalty If I paid for full month even after connection close request.

                      Tikona is fraud internet company which never satisfies its customers.

                        To Start, I paid Rs.3836 (Non-Refundable) Subscription amount for Tikona connection. This was for 1300 plan in which you get 120 GB limit for 4 Mbps. Not even one day

                        had passed, and I witnessed the height of consumer unfriendliness. So here's the deal ...

                        a) The connection requires you to login to some page with username and password. Only after you login, that you can use the connection.
                        b) Login has session limits. You may have to login multiple times in same day.
                        c) Sometimes, the login page only does not appear.
                        d) If you have multiple accounts in your system, e.g for you mom, dad, etc. you will have to save password for them as well, and they might have to deal with point b)

                        and c). So if you are frequent flyer and your parents or kids are not computer genius, then only God can help you.
                        e) The Customer service has a response time of 72 hours.
                        f) If you are lucky, the engineer may visit you once a week, when you have a problem.
                        g) They provide you with a LAN cable coming from some tower, not a ADSL link. Many times, LAN cable does not get signal, and hence "Page not Found".

                        In overall, the key points to note is that subscription amount is non-refundable, you will have to login to tikona page to be able to browse, session expiry frequent

                        surprises, and zero customer care to make you feel at home. I am a computer engineer myself, who has experience with debugging things. If I faced nightmare worst than

                        any elm street, then you can only imagine what non-techy people will go through.

                        I have written you a mail regarding correction of subscription amount. The subscription amount for BBM4M1300 was Rs.3836, which I already paid. Amount for BBM4M650, which is running now, is Rs.2347. I request you to refund Rs.[protected] to me, as I had raised the request of change of plan immediately after the connection of Tikona service.

                        Also, observing the 'frequency' of your emails and how you have not contacted me regarding these problems, and no engineer has come to my place since Saturday (12-Mar-2016) for correcting technical issues, I would really like to cancel this connection. I would like ou to refund me the entire amount and take the charges for these four days.

                        In this four days, I am horrified by the service you have given, and none of my family members are able to connect, because firstly your login link hardly opens, secondly, it gives 'too many attempts and session related issues', and thirdly, I cannot teach everyone in my house how to 'login' through that link. This is not only unprofessional, but also highly user-unfriendly.

                        I request you to cancel my connection and refund the amount.

                        Please observe your mails carefully. I have emailed on March 15, 2016 with title "Reference no. TIKMR1718". and another one 11.30 PM same date with title "Cancellation of TIkona Connection [protected]".

                        My issue has NOT been resolved. No one has contacted me regarding technical issues, and your speed is coming low. I confirm the problem persists with your frequent session expiry issues and login page not coming.

                        And please do not make a habit of lying everywhere, even in SMSs you keep telling, "we tried to contact you" and your services are working fine. Your issue resolve period is undefined, and your issue analysis period is 72 hours, and even after 72 hours there is no communication, and your CC number is always busy.

                                After my complaint on 21.02.16 on this consumer forum, only on 25th Feb.16 one service engineer was sent to my address, he checked the connection and declared that in my area signal strength is too low and it will not work. after this 10 times I called Tikona call center I requested them to disconnect my connection and refund my total balance amount as connection was started on 16.01.16 and from 8th Feb.16 onwards I am not getting this service nor I have used Tikona internet . now I am totally frustrated that even my many requests they have not refund my amount. in between after every 2 days I receive call from Tikona call center and repeat the same words we are at your service and close all issues in my internet connection, but never tell to refund the amount. today I again recd. call and tell them to refund the amount. and surprise thing is that today I recd. message for bill generation of 7th march. in todays conversation Amitabh transferred the call to Vinod ( Bill desk), then phone was disconnected . in new call kaushik transferred call to Nikhil ( technical). this technical person told me that as my area is not declared non visibility zone therefore they can not refund the amount. Although as per todays conversation my connection is disconnect but I am not seeing the chance of getting my deposit money. also seeing their behavior I doubt that after 1 or 2 months they will impose extra bill amount on me. may be they will threatened me or call me for nonsense bill.
                                Please help me in this regard and take strict actions against Tikona company and support me to get my total refund amount of Rs.2000.

                                  I got tikona connection disconnected on 17 Aug'16 because of the terrible service and support.

                                  They dispatched me bill of full month even after discussion with their support... as they said "Sir will not be charged anything"

                                  Later on i tried to contacting them but every time on their all numbers but i am receiving only a single response that "We have recorded your number and our representative get in touch with you within 48 hrs" but no one contacted from their end.

                                  And i received call from them that we will post summon if you won't pay the bill.

                                  i tried contacting them everytime via call and mail but i didn't received any response. below are the mail thread.

                                  Hi,

                                  I received bill for tikona full and final but i dont think this is the correct bill according to the service you have given to me and your representatives.

                                  My Query:

                                  I requested for shifting of connection on 28may2015. As per your company policy within 4 working days it should get shifted, but after calling many times to your customer care i took the equipments by my own and you concerned person was coming after 8 days.

                                  Shifting charges are 200, but do you think from the above service charges are applicable.

                                  But the bill generated on 15june2015 shifting charges was included, i had a chat with your representative regarding the extra amount and the person guided me "Sir please pay the monthly bill that was Rs 787 and the extra amount will get waived off within a week" and i paid the bill(787) before 30thjune2015.

                                  On 4thJuly2015 i again requested for shifting and the same thing happened again i continuously called on 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of july 2015(You can check your call logs) and after getting frustated when i asked for disconnection, your representative called and said within 2 days it will be shifted so on 14july2015 it got shifted.

                                  Again shifting charges are 200, but do you think from the above service charges are applicable.

                                  The bill generated on 15thJuly2015 the shifting charges for june2015 was waived off but a penalty was added for late payment on my bill, and again shifting charges for july2015 was added on the bill.

                                  I again had a chat with with your representative for the extra amount added to the bill and your representative said "Sir please pay the monthly bill that was Rs 800 and the extra amount will get waived off within a week" and i paid the bill(800) before 30thjuly2015.

                                  And your service in july month was so terrible that i was contacting your customercare for every 2nd day for network issue. And i for a time period from July2015 start till Aug2015 end i have spent around total of Rs 600-700 calling to your customercare.

                                  So finally after so many hustle and getting no service from your end i asked for disconnection on 10thaugust2015 and on 12th your representative asked me to continue the service with a promise of "uninterrupted service for continuos 5 days", But things remained the same and on 17thaugust2015 i disconnected tikona from my own.

                                  Question1:
                                  I am paying you monthly for the uninterrupted service of internet, i your service is not good how you are supposed to charge me?

                                  Question2:
                                  I asked for disconnection on 10thaugust2015 but on 12thaug2015 your representative asked me to carry connection for few more days... and when nothing worked out they said sir you will ber charged only for three days that is 15, 16, 17 aug2015 on pro data basis, So if you guided a customer in this way how you are dispacthing full month bill?

                                  Question3:
                                  I paid bill according to your representative addressing then how i am penaltilized by late payment charges?

                                  Before sending reply to the above query and question please check first your call logs and recorded calls converstions you are having with you for the account. For the above mentioned months.


                                  In the end i have been with tikona almost a year so i want to over it with a happy note, i am not saying i wont pay, i will pay but only for my usage that is 15, 16, 17 august 2015. Rest amount added to the bill is a mistake from either your customercare end or from the network team or the shifting team.

                                  Please look over this issue quitely and revert me with a reasonable answer and a genuine bill.

                                    My tikono Id is-[protected].I have called the tikono customer care and requested to stop the service in October 2015.After that i have reallocated to different location.But After that also i have got fake bills for November, December and multiple calls about the non payment of the due.If i have not at all used the service and informed you disconnection of the service one month prior then why should i provide money after that??I have called then multiple times to collect the equipment from the house but no reply from their side.

                                    Now i am getting Multiple Phone calls, Harrasment calls and threatening from tikono and their so called unethical recovery agents.

                                      I am utkarsh dixit, i have been using tikona since 9 months, and i was never pleased, with services, but it was in this january, that i have been getting slow speeds, and improper connectivity, and tikona takes bill in advance, so i had to pay to them for jan, but they provided very poor services, and in feb they called, and said, that my area has been declared, out of coverage so they wont be able to provide me the proper services and i should find a new connection, first of all this was very unprofessional, and the amount of installation charges that i will have to pay for the new connections will be more, and i wont able to afford them, mostly companies expand, but this one shrinks, on the top of that, they have even created a bill for the feb and march and harrasing me to pay, the most unusual thing is, they want me to pay full for the poor services, as there is no other service provider in my area, i have to use tikona, because, airtel and idea are far too costly, so either, they reduce there monthly bill by 1/3rd or 1/4th, and continue, as i am a college going student and i need my net, or they can provide me a new account of some other broadband company as they cant provide me the services, but leaving me in the middle is not an option, or they can provide me compensation, for a new broadband connection that i will have to set up...my tikona id [protected]

                                        My tikona id is [protected]. It's been a year since i've requested to terminate the connection. but the bill has generated. and they are saying that the due amount is 1500 rs. i've made the request to disconnect the connection at that time several times. they didnt responded. and after a year they called me and said that you have to pay the rest of money. i'm trying to call the billing helpline number of tikona for 5 days and they dont give any rsponse. they say that we have made a note of your call we will call you back in 48 hours. its been a year so i didnt have any sort of cancellation request number or anything like that. so plzz crosscheck the database and find the cancellation request as soon as possible. this is totally unfair..
