Hi I am from Bangalore with Tikona ID [protected].
Due to continous interruption in services, i have requested Tikona team to terminate the connection August 2015.

Connection was terminated in Sept 2015 and after that no one has reached me to recover the Tikona Instrument (set up box).

I have received bills even after termination of connection and I paid around Rs 3000/-

Recently Tikona sent me another bill of rupees 3600/- for not handing over the Tikona instrument.

I am not sure, how can they do this to me. I have sent several emails to customer care and I have called Customer Care/Area sales executive/Area sales manager requesting them to arrange someone to recover device.

Whenever I call billing department, they always say me that they will verify the account and come back to me in 48 hours, but it didn't happen.

I lost huge amount by selecting "Tikona" as Broadband provider.
I lost installation charges, bill after termination of connection & penalty for Tikona Instrument.

This is really a dilemma for me. I am not able to find right point of contact who can help me to recover the instrument and I fear for another penalty.

Please kindly help me in this regard.

Last week Friday (02/19), Someone called me by representing himself as Delhi Court lawyer, stating that Tikona Digital Networks filed 420 case against me for not paying the penalty for not handing over the Tikona Instrument.

I have paid Rupees 3600/- though I have not any mistake and when i try calling that lawyer, he is not picking up my call.
I tried calling him from different numbers, but still no response from him. That shows how Tikona is dealing with customers.

I still don't understand, why a well known firm like TIKONA behaving like this with customer.

I am working for a reputed software company and I am not ready to be cornered with those cheating cases.

I have paid around 4k as penalty for not returning the device.

It's not my fault. After calling and sending several emails to customer care finally they came today to collect device.

I have a simple question here, for any organization customer care will be single point of contact and its their fault .

I need the amount that i paid as penalty rupees 4000/-.

May i know how final calculation and settlement process happen in tikona?
I have paid a penalty of 3600/- unnecessary already last week. Today(02/27) i have received a mail asking me to pay another 1500/- as penalty...what's happening..this is really frustrating thing.
I have already handed over modem to bangalore tikona manager MR. Santosh reddy and contact number is
[protected]..he told me that i will receive e-receipt for that and I have not received that receipt so far.

I will not pay even one pie as penalty now.
Please check with that manager and this is not my fault at all.

How many times my connection will be terminated..i have request termination in Aug 2015 and i have received final settlements mail thrice so far.

Last week i received mail that connection terminated on 22/02/2016 and received another mail today that connection teimated on 29/02/2016

Again they are asking me to pay another 1500/- in latest email

This is rediculous..though i have handed over modem i have not received e-receipt

    I have been using your internet service with the AC No [protected].
    I have been facing technical issues since the last 6 months or so and every day after 7 or 8 pm the net would become limited connectivity. There were numerous complaints done for the same and no one bothered to visit me and check the source of the problem. Everytime I was told backend is working and it will be solved in sometime. I come from office in the evening and then I am not able to use the net.
    On September 15 I gave the disconnection request. The disconnection request was also not getting accepted by your helpline people. The next day I got a call from your people saying a Sr engineer will be visiting me and also offered me a one month waiver based on the complaints and the loss of time and money I been facing due to lack of service. I was requested to give 15 days time and meanwhile if the support doesnot solve the disconnection will happen.
    The Sr.Engineer visited me on OCT 5th i.e 20 days later. He also could not solve the problem and he did see the problem faced by me and he assured to solve the issue from backend and left. Again there was no update from him. I again called up and was promised further visits by sr. engineers which never happened. Meanwhile the net worked well for 5-6 days and again the problem started and on oct 17th I got a call from our call center stating they will give a waiver of 400Rs against what was assured to me i.e 1 months waiver and 15 days which your people have not been able to sort the issues. I have given fair opportunity to this company to maintain my account.
    I am not willing to pay for service which you are not providing. I have been spending 30 mins on the fone for so many times in the night.
    On OCT18th again the net was not working from 11.48 in the morning and didnot work for 2 days and the engineer was supposed to visit on 19 and didnot visit. I have a business where I cannot take losses because Tikona is not able to provide a secure and reliable internet connection.
    Long Story short I have shifted to another company as I dont see any improvement in service from tikona end niether internet or technical. There is no ethics either you promise something and then another person denies the same.
    They are still not applying the promised waiver and closing the account.

    I have taken the internet connection from tikona while my stay in delhi for two months they have scheme to pay two months advance rent and opt to disconnect after two months without any charges.

    I requested tikona after 2 months for disconnection and they took subsequent one month for disconnection after doing 20 to 30 correspondence over email and series of 30 approx calls with customer care (with holding/queue time of 30 min each call). There customer service was very poor and not upto mark. No doubt there technical staff is very good and cooperative but due to lack of customer care services things are delay and no information about accounts.

    There customer readdress fourm sent me wrong information about final settlement they put device and other amount, where as Tikona device was already collected and no internet usage after proposed two months. I requested the written receipt of device and no usage internet letter they refused.

    Me and my Father were mentally harassed by the services of tikona. We would advice to public not to go for tikona services.

    I am receiving threatening calls from these number like ([protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]) these people are fighting and harassing due to non payment of bill. They are telling they are calling from court (they are disrespecting courts by doing fake calls) . The are also harassing and threatening my father who is in old age.

    We are law abiding citizen and respect law. We are expecting protection from harrassment and threatening call by tikona.

    I would like consumer court look into the issue and resolve.

        I've tried so much to resolve the speed issue of my broadband but i couldn't receive any appropriate measures regarding this. customer care hardly receive any call. i am so much disturbed from this connection. kindly look forward to my issues or i will consider another better option.

          Would like to highlight below case in front of you which is related to Fraud, over bill generation and mentally harassment by tikona to pay fraud bill of 1172/-.

          Few months ago I took the tikona net services with the 500/- monthly plan which is 572/- for me with the all taxes. Since the beginning every day I had been facing lots of problems in teams of loss connectivity, slow speed and lack of services to resolve the problems. Daily I connected to customer care to raise my problems and request them to resolve that ASAP but always they were committing false commitments as usual. However I was paying my bills on time with the hoping one day they will resolve my problems.

          One day I decide to hold them services and use something else. So as per the rules of tikona I could hold their services for max 1 month with the charges of 30 Rs. But before holding need to pay all overdue amount, which I did as per below explanation.

          In case if you will late to pay the bill they charge 100/- Rs. extra that’s fine but if customer request to deduct that extra 100/- then they also can that. So at that time probably September or October 2015 they did the same for my. That month my bill was 672/- Rs. I paid 572/- and request to deduct 100/- on which they were agree but due to their system error that deduction didn’t updated on their system.

          Now their fraud thinking begins from here, to make tikona service on hold I did following steps:
          1. Call to customer care and request to put my services on hold for one month. Customer executive was trying to update this on his system but it was not happing because his system showing 100/- Rs. due on my ID (Due to the above explained system error).

          2. He told me to pay that 100/- because without paying that amount my service couldn’t be put on hold. Same time he committed me that 100/- will be deduct in next bill. That’s why I believed on him and pay 100/- more. Then my account put on hold successfully.

          3. Now my next month bill should be 472 + 30 = 502/- but they generate fraud bill of 872/-

          4. I called many time and explained all the things but they were telling me like paid 872/- and you’re over paid amount will be deduct in next bill.

          5. As per my previous experience with them I was not in condition to believe again on them. So I told them to disconnect it and settle your bill with my security deposit, which I deposited at the time of connection that was approx. 500 to 600 Rs.

          6. But they didn’t disconnect my account and each month adding 100/- Rs on my account and pressuring me to pay 1172/- Rs.

          It’s mentally harassing me and my wife. Which result is I am suffering high brain pain now. Please help me to take a legal action against them. I strongly trust and faith on consumer forum.

          I am one of the person harassed by Tikona team. I have requested for disconnection and no more used any internet from that day. but they disconnected after 1 month and sent the bill to me and asking to pay. Still I am getting bills to my mail id and calls from above said numbers. But I am not scaring because I have lot of proofs on everything and be ready for legal action from tikona. and also I am going to put legal threat from my side on Tikona for their harassment.

          I will take this to Court and make them to punish..

            You can see my below 2 mails and my ref. of several reminders to your Call center and technical support team. from 8th Feb.2016 i am not able use this internet service.So i decided to disconnect this service for ever 1 week before. But for last 1 week i am calling to call center and requesting them to close my account and refund applicable amount. But every time call center person insist me " that we will close your issue within 24/48 hours.But nobody listen to me and give proper response. Yesterday i called call center one lady and told her to close the account but she pretended that she is not hearing my voice, while she told me to wait for some times and also thanked. But finally she disconnect my call and kept on saying mr. naresh we are not hearing you and disconnecting your call.I do not know her name but it was appox. 3.35 pm yesterday . after that i tried to connect her and your auto system tried to transfer my call to same executive but she connected it in some different mode.And i did not get any response. why i do not know.
            As per my below mail there is your one service engineer in ghaziabad local area, name Arun( [protected]), i called him 40 times, 3 times he picked . then i requested him to at least see the issue but he did not came. At the time of connection he collected 2000 rs. and responded every time.

            Finally i request you to please support me in this regard and close my account and refund applicable balance amount. FYI, my connection was started on 16th Jan.16, but from 8th Feb. to till date i have not accessed this service. you can check my records too.

              Sir,
              I had applied for a new internet connection on 29/01/2016 with the above said company at Rs.950/ per month plus 14% service tax with fair usage of 50 GB per month at 4 mbps download speed and thereafter 512 kbps unlimited download. Not even a single day, it works properly as per their assurance and commitment. Since then I am complaining on their customer care number for not working of the net connection, but all in vain. Once their executive person came to attend the complaint. After checking the connection, he replied that the fault is with the access point tower and he also stated that they are persisting the same complaint with the higher authorities of the company to correct it. He left stating that he is forwarding my complaint too, to the authorities again. I am totally disappointed and not satisfied with the service of the company. Despite of the repeated calls at their customer care center, no one turned up to attend the problem. It seems that company is involved in the unfair trade practice. I have not only been cheated but have also suffered undue harassment, mental torture, agony and embarrassment besides loss of studies. I do not want the net connection any more. Please make arrangement to disconnect the connection and refund my money paid in advance for three months i.e Rs.3500/-, within fifteen days, failing which I shall be constrained to move the courts of law at their risk as to cost and consequences of the same.

                As your Technical helpdesk is not responding correctly. I am writing mail to you, please look into the issue on below issues:

                1. Firstly, you technical Support Desk call center reminds me for hold the line for 1 minute but actually takes more than 10 minutes. Don’t cheat customer, should remind correct waiting time.

                2. I raised the ticket on 17- Feb’16, after that many tickets are created by your team and closed them but still issue is not resolved till now. As you have 24 hours resolve the problem, here you failed and not trust worthy for customer. Customer is not informed even Technical Support team not forwarding the call to senior to attend the call. I am expecting 24 hours to resolve the problem and still waiting from 4 days. This so bad in your service.

                3. I am not able to use internet by last four days. You remind me many times to pay the bill but not informed me about the status of issue.

                4. I don’t want to continue your internet service as above issues hurts me a lot even customer is not on your priority.

                Very Shame about your commitments and what you are delivery to the end. I believe, the technical Team is not doing their job correctly because you are big brand and I am not expecting this kind of behaviour from your side.

                I also received bad response from tikona see my complaint.

                Sir,

                I have taken the internet connection from tikona while my stay in delhi for two months they have scheme to pay two months advance rent and opt to disconnect after two months without any charges.

                I requested tikona after 2 months for disconnection and they took subsequent one month for disconnection after doing 20 to 30 correspondence over email and series of 30 approx calls with customer care (with holding/queue time of 30 min each call). There customer service was very poor and not upto mark. No doubt there technical staff is very good and cooperative but due to lack of customer care services things are delay and no information about accounts.

                There customer readdress fourm sent me wrong information about final settlement they put device and other amount, where as Tikona device was already collected and no internet usage after proposed two months. I requested the written receipt of device and no usage internet letter they refused.

                Me and my Father were mentally harassed by the services of tikona. We would advice to public not to go for tikona services.

                I am receiving threatening calls from these number like ([protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]) these people are fighting and harassing due to non payment of bill. They are telling they are calling from court (they are disrespecting courts by doing fake calls) . The are also harassing and threatening my father who is in old age.

                  I got Tikona internet services on 08th Feb, however since that day I am not able to use the services, and I have paid advance for 3 months, however nobody is taking care of this, I have tried every medium to get the issue resolved however nobody helped me in that, I have paid Rs 2176 + Rs 150 (Verification) that was taken from me in fraudulent way.                       We had tikona connection plan 699 per month till last year September 2015. due to some technical and local issues we requested for the disconnection and they did. They told us to pay the due amount 795 Rs till Sep. 2015 and no other amounts. we did the same but after sometime they called us for due amount of rupees 100 . we talked to them and they said its by mistake u don't have to pay the amount and then we got another call form senior management and he gave us a request no. of disconnection. every thing was sorted out but now 20/02/2016 we received a call form their side saying that i their advocate and u have to pay 375 due amount, when we said we don't want to pay he used abusive language with my husband after that we talk to customer care and they told us that we are not using their connection its some problem in their system that our disconnected connection is still running. even some time later in November a service engg. came to our house and collected their equipment. now we don't under stand why is it happening and they keep calling and when we call the waiting time is not less then 15 minutes and even sometimes they do not pickup the call.

                              I am a tikona customer and taken connection on 10.02.2016. Since beginning I am facing problem.

                              The connection was installed by your technician name SHAILESH PARMAR (Mobile no. [protected]) and Sales Executive Rushabhkumar (m.no: [protected]) they just installed cable for demo and said will come tomorrow for proper installation. I called him many times to come for proper installation he said book complaint so then he stopped receiving calls. i requested sales executive for the same and he sent one engineer who installed connection but said the router (tenda) provided to me by company is faulty need to be replace but then no action from your company side. till today router need to be replaced.
                              Now comes to Internet usage, I am facing problem since beginning and fed up as every day some problem. Most of the time it did not connect and I am trying again n again but not connected and if sometimes connected the speed comes 100kbps, what I can do with this speed as even not able to check my emails.
                              I called customer care on 19th Feb (one week after connection) and registered complaint for the same service is1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1- [protected], 1- [protected] .
                              every time i call custmor care it takes arround 10 minutes to reach techician and then he takes 15 minutes for chacking and trouble shooting even then no solution to problems he says engineer will visit my place in 4 hous but never so happends

                              But till now no response and update.

                              Customer support is worst as maximum time their system is down so they cannot help anything.

                              I am writing very strong communication to TRAI, Telecom minister and other relevant departments to suspend Tikona license as they are doing business of cheating customers and running away after taking the money.

                              I am requesting to surrender my connection and refund my complete Rs. 4, 500, which I paid for 12 months charges. I will also ensure no one take tikona in my colleague, locality. Never seen such worst cheating company.

                              Request TRAI kindly suspend license of such ISPs as they are cheating customers, their network most of time down, they claim 4 mbps speed, max time speed get 100kbps, no response from customer care as their own system is mostly down. Please help customer like me to get hard earned money refund from such cheating companies.

                                      I had called Tikona service so manyyy times when my internet was not working but every time they said withingn 48 hours someone will come and correct it. For 20 days this went on and on but no one came. But I still paid the bill. Finally I decided to get rid of Tikona service. I called the service center and told them to disconnect and I specified them to disconnect it ASAP and I wont be paying from next cycle if no one came and disconnected as I was not getting the internet service. No one came to disconnect even after 5 days . Then again I called them andd told that please send somone and disconnect I wont be paying from next cycle. The customer representative assured me I wont be charged and they will disconnect. I complaint 3 times to disconnect. Then after 2 months someone came and took all the setup. And then they started sending be billing as email(not even post) I hav not checked my emails on for months. Now they are sending 100 rs penalty each month for not paying the bill. Still I paid the bill hoping that I would get rid of this tension. But again they are sending bills each cycle 100s penalty. I am fed up of calling they and emailing them regarding the same but no one has replied or attended calls. I have called more than 100 times in 4 days and emailed 3 times but no one reponded. I have to get rid of this service, . I am regretting why I even opted for it. Please help me. They should learn a lesson of cheating people.

                                        I have used tikona service. They HV a very dirty customer service. I was receiving harassment calls from tikona...saying that they HV been compiling to civil. They r asking money for non using data. And didn't disconnected the service even we have requested for several times. And now they r generating bill as usual. Thisis not fare. And we won't again refer this service to any friends.

                                        I also received bad response from tikona see my complaint.

                                        Sir,

                                        I have taken the internet connection from tikona while my stay in delhi for two months they have scheme to pay two months advance rent and opt to disconnect after two months without any charges.

                                        I requested tikona after 2 months for disconnection and they took subsequent one month for disconnection after doing 20 to 30 correspondence over email and series of 30 approx calls with customer care (with holding/queue time of 30 min each call). There customer service was very poor and not upto mark. No doubt there technical staff is very good and cooperative but due to lack of customer care services things are delay and no information about accounts.

                                        There customer readdress fourm sent me wrong information about final settlement they put device and other amount, where as Tikona device was already collected and no internet usage after proposed two months. I requested the written receipt of device and no usage internet letter they refused.

                                        Me and my Father were mentally harassed by the services of tikona. We would advice to public not to go for tikona services.

                                        I am receiving threatening calls from these number like ([protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected]) these people are fighting and harassing due to non payment of bill. They are telling they are calling from court (they are disrespecting courts by doing fake calls) . The are also harassing and threatening my father who is in old age.


                                        My Account Tikona A/C [protected] (Delhi).

                                        We are law abiding citizen and respect law. We are expecting protection from harrassment and threatening call by tikona.

                                        I would like consumer court look into the issue and resolve.
