Hi, of all the services i have used uptil now, this stands out to be the worst one. Made a big big mistake of opting for a prepaid plan with Tikona Broadband for 30 months paying a humungous amount in advance. This service started on 1st Oct 2014, after that i must have called them more than 100 times complaining about the internet not working, but the situation prevails. Pathetic service, with a proffession of cheating their customers, would never recommend anyone to opt for Tikona.


I want to file a complaint against Tikona Bradband service in the consumer court forum, request your help.

    I am using Tikona internet since long time more that 2-3 years. My user Id is [protected]. I have facing many time Internet disconnection issues which was reported to customer care. And no one till now able to resolve this issue permanently. customer care try to manipulate things and close the case every time. We need to call again and again customer care repeat with our problem all the times, like we dont have any other work to do apart from calling to customer care. I also tried mailing to customer care and top escalation authorities but no one ready to reply my mail how frustrating is that. Now the current issue is my bill, they have charged 200 Rs extra in my bill, and I have called customer care 3-4 times for this still the issue is not resolved, today again I tried the call, and I was talking with customer executive he asked me to hold the call and ran away, do not come back after 10 minutes of holding his call. Now you tell me how we can handle such worst customer care service. So here again I have wasted my precious time of 30 minutes to explain him all the scenario and he just ran away from call..

      I am one of tikona customer and my Service ID – [protected]
      and i have shifted my location from old place to new. so after that i got bill from tikona as bill no B[protected] on the 30 dec 2015 which is having and Termination Penalty Charges 1500 and MACD Charge: change in Installation
      address 250 and taxes (Macd Tax) 36.25 so regarding to this bill i call tikona customer care so they have told that penalty charges are generated wrongly as till the date 30-dec-2015 they didn't received the old device .so as there employee it will recover it will way off and you will get conformation of way off, so you just pay other amount which is 286.25 so as that i paid 286.25 on the[protected] with Transaction ID* : [protected]TPC[protected]. after that i requested many time to tikona to recover device .But till the date 19 jan and 21 jan they didnt answer me correctly after that the employee name as Dinesh(+91-[protected]) he visited my old place and he recovered device on the date 21 jan 2016 at 3.15 pm .And still after that also tikona is calling and sending me for the bill amount of 1509
      .Even still i had updated them on mail and call on 31 jan 2016 they always mention one request no and always committed the next 48 hours it will get solved .Its more than 48 hours. And till the date its not updated yet

      As i request please solve this issue and send me a way off conformation

        I am having issues with tikona from last 1 week. When i called them with the issue they told it be resolved in next 2 hours but after that when i called them they asked for my id then disconnected my call. I had called them more than 250 times but they are not responding.

        I had given reference to people to use tikona but now i am planning to leave tikona and move to a better service provider.
        It was the worst service i had got from a company dealing in ISP.
        They are taking down their reputation by themselves, Customer can easily find another ISP with better support and service.

          My id [protected] I have many time faking discount problem in a month only connection is working 15 days always connection is stop and i am pay regularly full amount to tikona but customer care are always promise we are provide to waiver to you still Aug 2015 i am given request to customer care for stop my connection and email also send but but tikona care sending bill every month still Nov month and not stop my connection and full Sep 15 month i am not using internet but they are charge full month charges after that they are given me demand notice.
          so i am suggest to every people please don't take Tikona internet connection.

            Initially every day in the morning is had to complain for no internet available on my wifi router. After 4days continuous complains a technician came and changed his box at the terrace. Ever since then internet is available only for 5minutes when i first switch on the wifi router. The problem arose since 24th of January 2016.

              I need your immediate attention here. My Tikona user ID is [protected] and I have already made two cancellation request for connection termination; My last usage was on September 21st and i haven't used your network till now, You can get my data usage summary in tikona Database. And also tikona customer care representative confirmed that i will not get anymore calls regarding bill payment and same can be ignored.

              But today i got a call from Shivani ([protected]), don't know who is she. she was rude and without my data in hand she mentioned the below..

              1. I should pay Rs. 50, 000 as penalty
              2. She will cancel all government ID card
              3. She will block my passport
              4. I should collect my papers in police station

              First of all who is she do this?

              This is something annoying and irritated. This is how tikona will treat the customer. They are treating us like Criminals.

              This is something i would like to create a case in online consumer compliant.

                      They are not lifting the calls and when lifted abusing with vulgar words. The executive of Mughalivakam area is mistreating non locals in bad language. They overcharge without any information and only responds when time of bill collection. It takes 1 hour to reach their executive and then they ask to repeat the procedure and waste our time. Learn treating customers.

                        Tikona has taken Rs. 3206 of advance rent for providing Internet service but in the past one month they have not given the service which they promised to and also in any of the occasion they fail to provide the service

                          I am staying in Bangalore and i was a Tikona Broadband Customer.

                          Because of some personal reason i gave a complain to discontinue the Tikona Service on November 2nd 2015.
                          After that i called several times to the customer care to discontinue the service.
                          At last one of the Tikona executive told me the Final settlement amount(i.e.1669.48/-) to stop the service.

                          So i paid the amount on 7th of December 2015 and she told me to use the service before the last billing date that is for me 25th of December 2015 and she ensured me i can use the service upto this date.
                          I used upto that point and than stopped using the service. But now again i am getting some bill amount of 649.14 /-.

                          When i asked tikona executive they are telling me your service is stopped on 7th of December 2015 but you used upto 25th of December 2015. that's why i got the charge.

                          I am not able to understand why they are asking me this thing as they only told me to use upto 25th of december 2015
                          And as per my billing cycle( 26th November to 26th December 2016) i am running on advance Rental plan.
                          Also i did not got any message that my service is suspended.

                          As a kind request please resolve this issue and let me know what to do.

                            Hello,

                            We subscribed for Tikona Digital Services in Andhra Pradesh, Visakhapatnam city. On account of improper Internet service from the company and also multiple complaints raised with Technical team the problem was not solved and hence we had to opt out of Tikona. We had written the same in the month of October 2015.

                            Even after disconnection of services, we are been receiving bills from Tikona and also messages of payment reminders. As discussed with customer care executive, we were directed to pay an amount of 339.72 INR(Amount Due on or before11-Oct-2015) with a promise of discontinuing the billing notices and reminders. The same has been performed and we received payment acknowledgement.

                            The problem - Still till date we are receiving bills from Tikona Digital Network and the amounts keep up piling and the customer care support is of no help for us. This month we have again received a bill amounting to 1339.21INR with due date as 10-Feb-2016) Bill Number: B[protected] Bill Date: 26-Jan-2016

                            Desirable Solution - We want all the bills to stop and due clearance acknowledgement to be provided in written by Tikona Service Provider to my registered mail address. We should not receive any information of billing from the company.

                              I do not know how tikona is still in service in India with the amount of complaints registered against them.
                              My service ID is [protected] From Kolkata. recent complaint no. 1-[protected] escalated by customer care offcial Rahul.
                              I have raised numerous complaints. many engineers have come to repair but no resolution has been given.
                              1)The service was never available consistently since July 2015. It did not work for two whole months and still the sent me a bill even after promising a waiver, by Senior official Mayuri.
                              They mentally harass customers.
                              2)An error keeps coming up everyday called server not found. This issue was never resolved.
                              3) The customer care people say I am logged in but i from home i cannot access the internet because server not found error appears. and they charge me bills for this without seeing the problem.
                              4) Then, I asked for disconnection, but no one has confirmed a disconnection or came to take the cables away.
                              4) I tried to access the login page and it loaded after so many months and then it says my password expired. So I reset it.
                              But the confirmation sms is not being received. and the IVR password reset in [protected] is not existent.
                              Customer care officials do not give any information on this and my issue is still not resolved.
                              They just do not care about the customer once you take up the connection.
                              Even though your plans are good and speed is good. your service is really terrible! Mental harassment is the word for tikona.
                              Please Resolve the issue or send me a disconnection confirmation and take the cables out.
                              AND please do not do this to customers, you earn because o[censored]s.
                              The photos below are from different days. same problem everyday.
                              I'm trying to get rid of them since December 13, they are still coming to collet the modem and wires within three days LOL. I wonder how this hasn't appeared in newspaper or media channel or YouTube. Tikona = fraud basically/criminal activity.

                                Dear sir/ madam,

                                I would like to mention that the internet services provided to us had been stopped by Tikona on 31st March 2015. But, they charged us by sending bill even after disconnection from their end. Despite this we paid them even we were not getting their service. They again send us a bill and demanded for payment but we denied to pay and warned them to take a legal action but they did not stopped. We then logged a complaint with www.consumercomplaints.in and they stopped calling and sending bills. Few days later they again started calling and sending fake legal notices. Finally, we got a call from a person telling himself a lawyer (Sandeep Sinha) from mobile no. [protected] and he said that if we pay Rs. 1629.00 to Tikona, this will be the last payment and no calls or legal notice will sent to you and he promised to send us an NOC LETTER within 7 days after the payment. We would like to say that we paid Rs.1629.00 on 30/12/2015 but we have not received any letter as yet. When I checked the number ([protected]) by which we were called, we found that it was of tikona company's number and the person who was telling himself lawyer seems to be tikona collection agent. I request you to please take a VERY VERY STRONG ACTION against Tikona Company and the person who called us and help us getting NOC LETTER from Them.

                                  My Customer ID: [protected]. Initially I have taken the Tikona broadband connection by paying three months subscription. I found the service is pathetic and there is no proper response for the complaints raised and complaint numbers were not used to be provided. Hence I have decided not to continue and raised a request for withdraw the services. I didnt received any response and getting calls repeatedly (stating I am an Advocate and need to pay the outstanding amount immediately)that I have to pay some amount. Why should I pay the amount post the request submitted for withdraw my services. Request you to please do the neeful.

                                    I have raised the request for disconnection on 11th may, 2015 .They were completely unwilling to disconnect and forwarded my request to different departments and raised the request to shift the connection to a different location despite clearly telling them i want to disconnect and want the device removed.On 31st may, one of their representative came to collect the final bill of settlement and behaved very inappropriately abusing us.Till 6th September, 2015, no one came to collect the device and in the meanwhile i was getting undue bills for the unused service.Finally the device was removed on 7th September and i had already paid the finally settlement earlier of the unused service and was told by the representative that my money would be refunded.
                                    Leave alone refunding the money, they are harassing me to give them a payment of rs 800.Its their problem that they didn't disconnect and took 4 long months and kept on sending unnecessary bills.2 days back i got a call from their lawyer asking me to pay the bill or they will take the case in court.
                                    please do take it.my lawyer will meet you there in the consumer forum court for causing me all the mental agony since past few months.They have horrible service and i kept on having technical glitches while i was using their service.

                                      Even after paying my bills and final settlements still receiving threatening call from Tikona end to pay the amount. I was threatened to pay an amount of Rs.2500 by tikona lawyer on 6/6/2015, I explained him everything but he told me to first pay the amount or else he will file a case.

                                        "Worst " this word made for Tikona Digital Network.I am customer since 15 Oct 15 ...bad day of my life.When i took their internet service.
                                        Took 2 mbps plan and hardly get it, then though plan change may fix it..but TDN made me wrong on this point too.I switch plan from 2 mbps to 4 mbps ...and can you believe that getting same speed as was on 2 mbps plan as well worst connectivity
                                        Multiple calls to customer care in a day approx 1 hour daily to get what exactly happened there.They open the ticket and close it without any prior notification.They having multiple fault in network devices.

                                        So evrytime if you face issue CC will tell to something different problem on their end, however your problem is same.
                                        Having recording of all calls.
                                        Any friend can help me to let the process to file case against TDN for economic and mentally harassment.

                                        Awaiting for a positive feedback ..in terms of file case, not in service improvement ...as they cant do that.

Provide as much information as possible -------------That's a mystery what they doing to fix the connectivity as well browsing speed.I am still trying to find out that.Everytime they told different issue on network side, but i am facing same challenges.Please read my earlier post for detailed information. 2- If the company emailed you, please provide that email adress, if they called you, please provide the phone number - Unfortunately i did not get any call from TDN.I called their CC no., which is 1800-2090 044 on their site http://www.tikona.in/.

                                        Dear TDN,

                                        Optimization for speed works when you are not getting "Request Timed Out" while you are attempted "PING" or "Tracert" to you desired site.And i believe that you aware about that...so optimization never fix internet speed in current scenario.

                                        My machine configured on start-up to clear cache or any program which kills internet speed.There are lots o[censored]tilities available on internet which works for the same.

                                        Since 22 Jan16 to till date you failed to fix these RTO on your AP.So please fix your network first, then ask customers to do optimization.

                                        Hope this will more clear to you about dependency of internet speed.
