This is a very serious concern and I hope that some action is quickly taken against the service provider. I had disconnected Tikona service back in August 2015 (Tikona Service ID No [protected])
For the entire month of July and August, I couldn't use my Tikona internet service because of intermittent internet outage every time. I have been calling Tikona customer care[protected] numerous times to lodge the complaint, sometimes they would fix the service or sometimes I have been waiting on the IVR call for 20-30 mins and still couldn't connect to the support team. When a few times I could request the support team to fix my issue, the internet worked for 1-2 days and again I faced service outage.
The support team confirmed that it is due to IP issues from the server through which I am receiving my connection, and they clearly stated that this is a temporary issue and they cannot fix it from their end. I have also requested Tikona agents to grant me waiver for the period I couldn't use my internet, but they refused to help.
I called up Customer care and requested to disconnect my service but they again didn't disconnect it in Aug and they still kept sending the Billing emails. I clearly confirmed the customer care agent that I don't mind paying the bill, but I will only pay for the legitimate usage and I will not pay any extra amount.
They didn't provide me with the net usage log details of the exact data consumption during July and Aug 2015. I clearly confirmed their agent that I will pay the amount after waiver, but I will not make any payment for all the internet outage period. I have also wasted a lot of time, energy and money chasing behind the customer care to help me. I can provide you the details of the number of times I have called Tikona customer care during July-August to fix the internet issue.
On top of that, I have been receiving fake calls ([protected], [protected]) from some third party who claim to be Civil advocate from Delhi Court and they threaten me that Case has been filed against me by Tikona and they ask me to pay the money online. I requested one of my known acquaintance who is a lawyer by profession to validate the authenticity of these callers and it was found that no advocate existed in the said court with the given name and Bar number. I have the voice recording of these calls as a proof. It is a shame for Tikona and also a criminal offense to make fake calls to recover bill amount, that too for illegitimate billing.
I received an email from Tikona on 25 Nov 2015 starting that:
Tikona broadband User ID: [protected] registered against your name is terminated.
How is it possible that they again generate a Bill on 12 Jan 2016, and again on 13 Jan 2016 they email that my services have been terminated. The termination email was already sent on 25 Nov 2015. I have all these emails from Tikona.
The customer care ([protected]@tikona.in) didn't bother to respond to my email complaint I made on 15 December 2015 and today again I received a call from the advocate of Tikona.
I am suffering through mental agony because of these calls and I would take action against your agents who are pressurizing me to pay money by calling themselves Advocate from Saket court and Teeshazari court. I genuinely request you to either share the legitimate data usage log for the month of July and Aug 2015 so I can pay for the data I have used and stop making fake calls.
