Respected sir, My Tikona ID [protected] This is to bring in your notice how i am getting cheated and harrased By Tikona . Firstly they provided very bad service of internet and now harassing and looting money. Once I requested to close my account they keep on creating tickets and acknowledging that it will be close but it never closed. And end of month I recieved a bill payment emails, messages, calls and there torture started from then. Then finally their agent called me and asked to make payment of one month which I did not use Tikona service but still I paid the amount of 1100 rupees and shared transaction ID with him. Then the story started when I call him one day later asking for closure he clearly changed his words that he did not tell anything like that then how come will I have a dream to send a transaction ID to his number. It really frustrated me. And parallely Tikona torture was going on by daily emails, messages and calls. Tikona used to call in the nights 1am, 2am it was litterally torture. I asked tikona to transfer account to my neighbour who was interested to take new internet connection and my friend called two three times to come and install it but they never came. After all this today I received a call from person named Mukesh number [protected] who is claiming to be advocate and Tikona has filed a complaint and he will do a settlement or a legal case will be started. He asked to pay amount of 3500 for settlement, I took time and googled for sometime he is number and found few more similar cases like me but it was not clear to me so I went ahead and made a payment of 3500 using Tikona quick bill pay option and shared the transaction ID which is [protected]TPC[protected] and still I did not receive the NOC and settlement. Eventually I ended up paying 3500 +1100 = 4600 without any service and hell of torture and harassment from Tikona. Unsafe Citizen Of India, Navid Khan.

So far I have not received single email from Tikona internet services and seems like you are fooling customers.

Can you justify why you have hired a lawyer and harassed me and also justify on taking 3500 rupees on the name of settlement of the case from the court ?

And I dont see any response from consumercomplaints team.
How long it will be in process ? and why are you not answering to my questions ?

Can you tell me here on cosumercourt forum why have you charged 3500 rupees and told me that you will return 2000 rupees, answer me that first.
This is really disappointing to see even on consumer-court Tikona can fool and no action being taken from consumer-court this clearly sends out a message that in India companies like Tikona can loot innocent peoples and walk freely.

    I requested you to cancel my tikona service on Sep 12, 2015.But after almost 2 month also i have not received any mail regarding cancellation .Still am getting billls. I am getting so many unnecessary call from tikona..since i have feed up with

    Hi, I requested Tikona to deactivate my service on Sep 12, 2015.But after almost 2 month also, i have not received any mail regarding cancellation .Still am getting billls. Also I am getting unnecessary call from tikona to continue their service. But they are not deactivating service. Since i have fed up with tikona service i request you to solve this issue as soon as possible.

      Dear Sir / Madam,


      My issues are:-

      1. Always signal drop from Tikona Tower
      2. Most of the time I'm being Logged out of the Tikona Login Page.
      3. Evening to Night times Zero Upload Speed.
      4. Tech support assigning Engineer to visit my place but after checking my place Engineer says above issues are Backend issue I can't resolve.
      5. No resolution given for the issues but I get SMS saying unable to reach you, case closed.

      From 1 August To Till Date, no internet connection due to Tikona Tower problem,

      I'm facing loads of Tech Issues and lot of time connection cuts and Zero Upload speed.

      from 2 pm till night no connection, when I called tech supported IVR message saying, there is an tech issues in your area and it will be resolved before 7pm but the connection problem is not solved permanent basis .

      Are you guys are careless or lazy to resolve?

      Every time I call for canceling the subscription, you guys are not canceling rather asking one more day for fixing the problem but not fixing.
      You guys wasting my time, you guys bringing huge revenue drop for me.

        I had got Tikona Installed on 1st of March 2014 and since then till 1st March 2015 i got very limited or no connectivity. Had raised it multiple times to vendor through their contact center (literally spent hour each day post office to raise complaints). Always heard the same answers - restart laptop, issue at network, server upgrade, some issue going on in area etc. I had kept paying my bills.

        In beginning of 2015 i have had enough as i had been paying every month for no service and customer support, a lot of times i had to move to cyber cafes or resort to mobile internet to complete any important work. So i raised it to their top management, email ids of those are - sridhar.[protected]@tikona.in, prakash.[protected]@tikona.in, tarun.[protected]@tikona.in, heramb.[protected]@tikona.in

        But none of it helped. Their customer care started contacting me themselves and did a troubleshooting of network for another 6 months. 1-2 months bill was waived off in lieu of no connectivity and they asked me to pay for 1-2 months which i did in hope it will close. But then in the end they told me they can't assure internet in the area (while during demo during installation they said it is going to work all fine), and asked if i would like to continue. I told them i will not pay for time till it is not corrected and they refused to demand. I said then i don't care i am not paying for it.

        And then they started sending bills, accumulated to INR 2k and have shared they will go for legal action.

        Now question is, even with -
        1. Thousands of complaints lodged and no resolution (time and effort and money wasted)
        2. 10-15 KBps speed received in 4 Mbps connection (have screenshots which i had shared with customer care staff over email) and they acknowledged the issue multiple times
        3. Vendor confirming he cannot provide service
        why is vendor always having the upper hand?
        Is there a place a complaint can be lodged against these scoundrels?
        I have tons of mails which i had written to them and still i am on receiving side.

        My User ID is [protected]. I have mailed 2-3 times in last 2-3 days on mentioned Email IDs and sending this User Id again on the email ID mentioned by you.
        What i am looking for is -
        1. Charges which have been put unnecessarily have to be waived off (it was customer care which told after months of troubleshooting that internet service cannot be provided - Internet issue from March 2014 to September 2015 and Troubleshooting done by team From March 2015 to August 2015, for which bill was paid for all months even when there was no service, waiver required for July-Aug-Sep'15 again a period of no service)
        2. Service Disconnection and no further communication
        3. If need be, you can arrange a call with some senior sensible staff if your team feels there needs to be a debate or discussion done on this. One or Two people i talked to till date told me following - You can use internet during day time as at peak timing it doesn't work (while i am in office at that time, staff is expecting person to go back home specially for this), We see a usage from your account at times (while it doesn't work when required)

They told me if i pay an amount they will stop harassing me but they can't mail about it as my account is blocked. Still taking the person's word as an official confirmation, paid same in 15 minutes. Post that tried calling today 50-60 times but customer care is not picking call even after waiting in line over IVR. Mailed thrice but no confirmation till now on closure of account from these people. No idea how to reach out to these fraudsters. Paid for even duration when net was not working and the one which was mentioned above so that i can get rid of these guys.

        I have already paid more than what I should have. The amount in question I.e. INR 2000 which was the bill during which I got no connectivity and team was troubleshooting (and confirmed that providing net is not feasible) has also been paid so that I don't have to hear from Tikona again. This is post confirmation from your senior billing help desk executive. I wonder what fnf are you calculating.
        Tikona had been the worst service provider and the disconnection process the most pathetic...thats the moment when they start extorting money from you saying they have raised case in Delhi tees hazari court (while having hq in mumbai)...I gave in to their demands and paid huge sum of money which I wasn't liable to just to close connection once and for all. If you have any issues with Tikona please raise at pgportal and if not resolved go ahead with court case else they ll suck your blood like leeches.. For pgportal, login complaint against dept of telecom mentioning Tikona as service provider...

            I am getting very un-professional recovery calls from your department phone #91-[protected]. First he is offering me to do out of court settlement for something I am liable to pay and then he is threatening me that case is registered against me in Bandra high court and i have to pay Rs. 2500 for tikona bill otherwise i have to pay penalty for 50000 or else get me arrested with police . Well it seems he doesn’t know the Law of this country. If this continues, I will take legal action against Tikona for harrassment and humiliation for the manner he talks on the phone. My Name is sanjeev kumar. i has a tikona connection and paid all due on 21/08/2015 but i am receiving another call or mail for payment. My Id was [protected] and mobile number is [protected]. Kindly clearify this particular behave which is no mean. I have already received a call [protected] on 21/08/2015 and make payment to Tikona and also attached all payment and other assets details than why i am getting call for payment. Plz look inti this matter and revert proper answer. i am unable to conatct customer care and called may times on [protected], [protected] & [protected] number but always it is saying system voice as will call you on your number. I am geting very frustrated from this call while i have paid all due and my service is already disconnected and assests recovered by tikona customer. And today again paid Rs. 2380.

            Not received any mail and call regarding this . I have already paid excess bill and ask to provide email for clearnace but no provided any details. The person called from 7792011395 number and said that he is talking from bandra court. and thretning for payment and other things. i have 2380 rupees again and ask for any clearnace. he said will mailed but i haven't received. Kindly provide my all payement while i have disconnected tikona network from june 2015

            Hi,

            I have been all due cleared for tikona so why it is in process and getting call from your office for payment and threatning for payment.plz give my refund asap and take action asap. otherwise i will take more action.

            i have follow up for give me a mail regarding court close up and any document with person who called for payment but he is trying to delay and not agree.

              I received a call today as well from an Amita Saini from the office of Narendra Kalra in Tiz Hazari Court. The Tilkona service that I did have has been disconnected a few months back and they have even taken their equipment. Suddenly, this lady today calls me and demands payment. When I ask for bill details, she says she does not have it but if I do not pay, I will receive summons from Court. Any idea if this is legit or is this harassment that has to be dealt with in Consumer Court? - Bikram

                That since complaint id No :1-[protected] generated on dt 31 10 2015, unattended by any Tikona Engineer uptill date has exceeded a period of 120 hours i.e. 6 days, the complaint of the undersigned has exceeded the SLA time limit of 3 days, hence the denial to consider my complaint by the Tikona authority is illegal, an unfair trade practice and a service deficiency from the part of service providers.

                That non-registering the consumer email complaint dt 01 11 2015 and onwards complaint dt 04 11 2015 against a unique docket id is treated as an illegal act on the part of the Tikona authority and not acceptable to the complainant.

                That the act of service denial and refusing to register consumer complaint by Tikona Authority after exceeding the SLA time limit is further against the notification of Telecom Consumers Complaint Redressal Regulations, 2012 issued by TRAI dated 05.01.2012.

                Tikona authorities causing monetary losses to the Complainant.

                  After multiple calls to Tikona customer care in last 20 days, I am forcefully lodging a complaint for a permanent resolution. I am unable to connect to internet properly for last 20 days. Everytime I call the customer care, they confirm that there is an issue at their end and lodge a complaint and ask me to wait for 8 hrs. When the issue did not resolve in 8 hrs and I call they back again, they ask me to wait for another 24 hrs. Its been happening for last 20 days and no one is working towards providing a permanent resolution to it. I have even asked them to disconnect the services in case they are unable to help me but they ask me to wait and plead for a last chance everytime I want to raise a request for disconnection of service. The issue started on 10-Oct but it was a marginal issue which got worse day by day. I called up the customer care on 12-Oct for the connectivity issue as I was unable to connect to internet. They asked me to wait for 8 hrs. and then it started working around 8 PM. I again called the customer care on 14-Oct for same issue, they again asked me to wait for 8 hrs. after which my internet started working around 7 PM. My connectivity was on & off on 15-Oct & 16-Oct and was never constant. After which my internet did not work at all after 9 PM on 17-Oct till 2 PM the next day (18-Oct), total loss of 17 hrs. Then, it started working on 18-Oct however, it kept on disconnecting the whole day till 11 PM. On 19-Oct as well it was not an easy sight for me as my internet started working properly after 5 PM only till 7 PM and then after 11:30 PM. On 20-Oct my internet connection did not work properly till 9 PM and I was given a time frame of 8 hrs for the issue to be resolved. On 21-Oct as well my internet connection did not work properly till 7 PM and when it started working speed was really slow (I have opted for 4 MBPS speed). On 23-Oct again, I was unable to connect to internet from 9:00 AM till 4:30 PM. Then, it worked around 4:30 PM for 30-35 mins and it again stopped working till 7:30 PM. On 24-Oct & 25-Oct, my internet connection again did not work in the morning hours and started working after 5 PM. I called the customer care and logged a complaint as well. This is highly unacceptable where an Internet connection will only work at night and not during the peak/morning hours. I did not purchase my connection just to use it during night time. One of the executives also told me today that due to increase in no. o[censored]sers in my area there is a lot of load on the Tower from which I am getting the connectivity because of which I am facing this issue. If this is the case, I request you to shift my connection under some other tower as your technical executive told me that there are 2-3 towers located in my area. He also told me that this might be the reason why my connection is not working properly in morning peak hours (9 AM to 9 PM). I am forcefully writing this email at 2:00 AM at night as now the internet connectivity is somewhat fine however, these are not my regular working hours. I have lost so many days this month due to this issue and my work was also impacted which caused some penalty as well as escalations as I was unable to deliver on time because of my internet connection not working. Who will bare the cost for that?? I use this connection for my Home Office purpose and I expect it to work without any loss to my Official work as the client penalty is heavy in case the work is not delivered on time. Below are some complaints no.'s that I have raised for this issue however, I have not been provided a resolution on either one of them. Complaint no's.: 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected], 1-[protected] This is the complaint no. I raised for the waiver/compensation amount as I was unable to pay my expenses on time which incurred a penalty and received a client escalation as well due to non-payment and non-deliverable of documents on time as I was unable to connect to internet. Complaint no's.: 1-[protected], 1-[protected] & 1-[protected] I have also raised a complaint with Appellate authority (Complaint no.: 1-[protected]) but they have also not reverted on my email yet since 27-Oct-2015. I need a permanent resolution for my connectivity issue as well a waiver/compensation in my outstanding bill so that I can pay the remaining amount as soon as possible and clear my account. Hope you understand my concern and would help me in its resolution as the earliest. Waiting for an immediate response.

                      I've asked Tikona to change the address, on 31 October morning. They replied to me that it will take 2 days. I waited for it. Then continuously customer care executive persons are saying engineer will visit my place in 1 hour or 2 hours. Till now they are saying this. If they aren't able to do so, I've asked them to disconnect my services. That too they are saying, please wait. Really fed up with this.                           I stopped using tikona broadband services w.e.f May'15 due to poor connectivity and worst complaint responsiveness from the company. At the time of disconnection, as discussed with the Tikona executive and advocate an amount of Rs. 1, 609 was required to be paid as per the mail from company executive. Out of the same payment of Rs 1, 000 was made online vide transaction ID - [protected]TPC[protected] .And as discussed the balance amount will be adjusted against the security deposit of the device which has already been collected by tikona official(Sanjay Sharma) on . I have mailed them for numerous times for dues clearance certificate but haven't received any reply from their side. Now, again a demand of Rs 1, 112 has been raised against my connection ID and their advocates are mentally harassing me on continuous basis through phone calls.                           I m not supposed to pay the said amount since I have settled by paying rs. 1000 and returning the device in working condition. Moreover the internet services were very poor for apr'15 regarding which I lodged numerous complaints. No point of paying again n again for such an internet service. Even after all this issue created by your company I won't suggest anyone for Tikona..

                            I had requested for a disconnection 3 months back due to their worst service and connection and no one turned up to disconnect the service and generated a bill for Rs1834/-. I got several calls for payment but I denied to do so since i did not use their service for even a single day.

                            Today after 5 months I get a call from them threatening to take legal action against me for non payment. I did the payment as did not want any problems in future. But, later i realized the number from which i got a call was a fake number ([protected]-Anita) may be Tikona guys called to threaten me.

                            I tried calling customer care but no response as usual so I have already sent an email asking disconnect as don't want to use your service forever.

                            I request the concerned authority to take most stringent action against this service provider for Cheating/Harassing/ Threatening so many consumer across the country.

                            **PLEASE DON'T EVER BUY TIKONA AND THEIR SERVICE IS WORST AND NOT AT ALL PROFESSIONAL**

                              I had already raised an issue on 12 sep which is unresolved. Summarizing it again: Got prepaid connection installed on 23rd March 15. I needed it only for 2 months so prepaid 2250/- as per the bill plan. Requested disconnection on 1 april due to poor servt- cc exec pleaded that they will improve quality Again requested for termination on 6 may to terminate on 23 may, they said they will give confirmation call. Received 5 calls, all insisting to retain connection but none giving ticket I'd. My request closed saying that I didn't receive their so called confirmation call, told to raise another ticket and delayed it for 15 days Finally disconnected and collected cpe in June end and gave receipt Their lawyer calls in sept asking for payment of 693 rs in next 30 mins or we will be dragged to court. Attempted payment 12 times, pathetic site, payment unsuccessful Another call from the lawyer in Novem 4th to pay 2693 rs They say we have receipts but not NOC. In a panic attack, my mom made the payment This is purely extortion of money. When the connection was prepaid, how come they could generate any bill. Services should terminate automatically once prepaid amount exhausts. The delay from their end is making customers suffer, moreover, they are extorting illegitimate amounts of money by threatening the customers.                                 I am Jaykumar Busa, a customer of tikona digital networks. My user id is [protected] and I am from Rajkot, Gujarat. I am using plan in which I get 1 Mbps speed for first 10 GB and then 512 Kbps speed for unlimited use. I frequently facing the problem of connectivity and especially when my plan moves to the secondary plan (i.e. 512 kbps). Here I am not talking about the speed I am talking about the connectivity issue only. As per company's rules in secondary plan customer can face the problem of speed means the customer may get lower than the actual speed that I know. But there should not be any connectivity issue as per rules or said by their customer care executives. Still I faced lots of issues regarding that. In last month, in between 16 to 24 October 2015 I had complained more than 10 times mentioning that to solve this problem permanently. After taking my complaint they had sent their Technicians 5 times but the problem was not solved permanently. In last to last month also I had complained many times and that was also when plan was moved to secondary. Then on 26 October 2015 my broadband plan was renewed and my plan moved to primary plan which is 1 Mbps. Then again the problem raised and I complained on 27 October 2015 and then on 2 & 3 November 2015. I feel that company has given the priorities to high-speed plan customers and that's why this problem is raising. My request is only that please solve this problem as soon as possible because I work from home and earn from it only and in last month I have not completed my half the work and that affects my income.

                                  There is non availability of service [ Tikona broadband] due to some technical reason since last october ie oct 2014. This has been informed to the techinal engineer, who informed me that the services cant be restored. I have given multiple calls to the concerned deptt for correction of the complains but no one came. Then in may 2015 i got a phone call, the person on call said that there is a case filed against me in delhi court for non payment of bill. I again called the customer care executive who agrees that there is no usage since oct 2014. Despite this just to settle all this i paid rs 1500 which was asked and requested them to close the service. Now again in nov 2015 i again received a call say that there is another case for non payment of bill of rs 2000. This time iam not paying the bill.                                     I raised a request for termination on 1st Feb, followed by a written mail on 3rd Feb. They did not disconnect my connection but went on to generate bill till month of June. On July 6th, they wanted to file a case against me in Delhi tis hazari court. So they asked me to make the final payment & then would settle this issue. I made a payment on that day & also confirmed with their customer care and they said that this issue was settled. But they did not stop from generating bills on my name and sending them. They filed a case against me in Delhi tis hazari court today asking me to pay again for the connection which I am not even using for past 6-7 months.                                       I am using Tikona broadband internet connection. For past 2-3 months i am facing lot of problems with the connection. Most of the days the connection itself won't be there, and if by chance i get the connection, it is embarrassingly slow.

                                        Hi,

                                        I have asked for disconnection from tikona after a week of availing its facilities.
                                        I have registered a complain on september 9 for disconnections after giving them a chance to rectify the issue but they couldnt. Till date my connection has not been disconnected as on add - on i get calls to pay bills and spam my message box.
                                        My tikona customer id is [protected]. My last conversation was 2 weeks ago where they promised me to get disconnected in 2 days and the lucky day has not yet come.

                                        Hi All,

                                        I have not been using the Tikona broadband before I posted in this forum.
                                        As you see my I registered my complaint here on November 4th, I got a message from Tikona team today i.e.., March 7th 2016 after 4 months that they are disconnecting but they want me to pay the bill or they we take action. I ask consumer court that I am not availing the facility and Tikona has responded as well that they are disconnecting then why I have to pay.

                                        This is the response from Tikona I got today,


                                        This is a system generated Email, please do not reply to this mail. Kindly refer to the customer care details provided in the mail below.

                                        Dear Customer - AMIT SHARMA.

                                        Tikona broadband User ID: [protected] registered against your name is terminated.

                                        Mentioned below are the outstanding details for your Billing Account no.[protected]

                                        Total Amount Payable (Without Termination Penalty): Rs. 1240.34

                                        Total Amount Payable (With Termination Penalty): Rs. 2740.34

                                        On account of service discontinuation due to non-payment, you shall compulsorily return all the modems in working condition. In the event of not being able to deliver the modem to the company in 7 days from the date of this email failing which Termination Penalty charges of Rs.1500/- will be levied on your account as per terms & condition mentioned in Subscriber Registration Form.

                                        Please call our ISP coordinator to return our device.

                                        You can contact our authorized representative SANJAY KHAN at [protected] for returning the Modem

                                        In the event of not being able to clear the Termination Penalty charges of INR 1500/- along with the outstanding dues (if any) we shall have no option, but to adopt appropriate recovery proceedings, inclusive of legal proceedings, criminal as well as civil, against you at your entire risk, costs and consequences.
