Hi, I lodged a disconnection request to tikona customer care on June 11th which after so many telephonic conversations got accepted by them. I received the disconnection request acceptance mail from Tikona but they have been billing me for past 2 months even though I haven't used their services at all after their disconnection request acceptance.

    I had opted for Tikona plan - ADBiBM4M950 (4 mbps till 50GB, 512kbps afterwards) on 6th July 2015 with payment mode as Credit Card and for a duration of 3 months for which the final amount was ₹ 3534/-. I had not received my password so had to go through the password recovery process after which I could finally login and since then I've been facing fluctuating speed where the max speed that I get most of the time is between 0.8 mbps - 1.5 mbps. So to notify Tikona about this issue, I first contacted them via email after which the next day they sent me a guy's name and no. (Mr. Praveen N.G., [protected]) along with a Service Reference Number - 6262681. I had been trying to contact him for about 2-3 days but he would either seem busy or not attend to my call at all. Then again I contacted them via Email (2nd try) but no reply. Then I went to contact them via phone and the guy over the other side either just keeps trying to convince me that the fault is on my side or just keeps telling me to do speed tests and then tells me that he'll call me later or the next day after checking out the issue from their side. Still nothing. Again another call made the next day and again the same thing. When I contacted the same guy third time and in a frustrated manner explained him that I have decent knowledge of the working of Network connections and that the fault is not from my side but theirs, lastly he agrees to send over an Engineer to the site. Next day the engineer comes and after doing another few rounds of speedtests tell me that another new Wireless Access point has been installed somewhere near my area so he would bind the Wireless Access device that sits on top of the roof to the new Wireless Access point. After he did what he wanted, the issue seemed to be resolved as I was able to receive near 4mbps speed as quoted in my plan. I asked him when should I call him if any trouble arises and he told me to wait for 2-3 days before calling again as it could take time. Now since yesterday, again I am experiencing fluctuations and slow speed issue. Please help me out.

      Hi, I took connection from Tikona Broadband in Pune at end of may 2015( 24th may). Technician came to my place in order to help me in getting started with Tikona Broadband service. He changed the password by himself and provided me the same. One person can log in to Tikona if you have log in ID and Password from anywhere if they have a tikona connection (Which I was not aware at that time). That guy only knows my username and password. My plan is of 12Gb data with 2Mbps speed. bill cycle starts at 7th of month . i was really surprised at the rate speed drops and thought that it might be speed issue for the last two cycles.( i was not using much of net so didnt worried much about it) On 15th july ( just one week after new bill cycle) I was surprised about the speed which was in kbps though my plan was of Rs. 500 with 2mpbs speed and 12.5 GB of data transfer limit. I immediately called Tikona customer care and inquired about my problem. I was shocked when they told me that you have consumed 19 GB data already and exceeded the plan data, that is why you are getting low speed. Then I checked the data usage history, mostly the data is used at the time when I am in office or I am away from my house ( No one else stays along with me) Called up the customer care again saying, i havent used data and still it is shown as consumed. they informed me that someone else is using the data using my credentials, they told me that most data is used using a samsung device and iball router. ( while i dont have both.. only wlan connection) and told me that they cant help me. Details of tikona technician who set my password is :- name : AMIT, phone no : [protected] they are not ready to take action against their employ. while i am supposed to pay for the data he used.( if they can track till the device which is consuming data, why cant the person behind it ???)         I am currently using Tikona broadband internet, mainly based in Noida.I started using this service from March 2015. But from the first week it started troubling me, I never got promised speed and connection. It got disconnected several times in a day.I registered complaints about this issue several times. Every time I only got fake promises.At the time of installation I noticed the connection issue but their installation engineer told me that the problem will be fixed within few hours.I have raised this issue several times but the problem is still not fixed.         Please note I am suffering with connectivity issue. I will optimize the speed only when I will be able to connect with the Internet.
        Please note so many days have been passed but none of your customer care representative try to contact me.
        I have raised this issue several times in front of your customer care representative but it look's like you all are not serious for this matter.

          Due to miserable network services and poor customer care support, we decided to give up the connection and had given request for cancellation of our subscription on 29-May-2015, Our user id: [protected] and cancellation request No.1-[protected]. Further to this date, we kept following up over phone to customer service, and each time we get a reply that “within 48 hours we will get a confirmation call of discontinuation of services”. We never received any confirmation call. We wrote them emails, for which we did not get even an automated acknowledgement. Above all, on the 7th June and on the 7th July, we received their bills asking for advance payment of rental charges. When we ask customer service about this, they do confirm that we do not have to pay the bill and verbally acknowledge that they observe that we did not use the connection since 25-May. But no action is taken with reference to the discontinuation of services. This is a very sorry state of management at Tikona’s end.

          Now we receive the third bill for Rs.2266 and no response at all towards disconnection request.
          Further, now recovery agents have been calling. What kind of procedure is on??????????
          It has now been almost 2 months since the cancellation request was submitted.

            I took TIKONA service on 2nd July 2015 with a pre-payment of 2384. Customer ID: [protected]. Even during Installation I faced connectivity problems but they assured that it will be fine once the installation is complete. But the service took 5 days to even start. From then on, I was not able to the network even for 1 hour. Always while connecting it would show Unidentified Network. On speaking with the customer care, they would simply say that there is some technical issue and they would resolve it within 8 hours. But there has been no improvement. The service has been terrible and am totally agonised at their pathetic behaviour. I would like to terminate the service and I want REFUND of my money as one of their representative mentioned that there is no signal available for my location. If that is the case then why would they provide connection in my area?

              My connection number is: [protected] and I have a plan of 12 GB. In the first week of my new bill cycle, my entire data has been consumed. On checking the data consumption logs, I found that it has been consumed between my office hours, when no one is available to use internet at home. Also, I have not shared my ID or password with anyone. So what is the use of providing user ids and password, if anyone can access it.

                I had given cancellation request to tikona, on their customer care no.[protected], on 7-May-2015. I was given the request no. :[protected]. As per system details of tikona, my last usage for tikona connection was 22-May-2015. Also, I have paid the last bill generated on 7-Jun-2015 for my customer id no. : [protected]. Even after repetitive followup with tikona customer care, they have not bothered to cancel my connection. And now they have generated my new bill on 7-Jul-2015. Also, I am getting repetitive sms on my mobile no. to pay this bill. Everytime I call their customer care for connection cancellation confirmation, they tell me that my request is in progress. Do not understand why tikona cannot cancel my connection and why they keep on generating new bills.

                Even after repetitive followup with Tikona. They have till date not cancelled my internet connection.

                Also, they are generating new bills and forcing me to pay unneccessary bills. They constantly send text message and email and are applying interest for the bills not applicable.

                This is creating unneccessary tension with me and this is mental harrasement by Tikona.

                Why even after 2 months Tikona cannot cancel my connection.

                It is really painfull, because a reputed company like Tikona is harassing their customers.

                I had registered this cancellation request on 7-May-2015 and my last usage was on 22-May-2015. So, it is more than 2 months now and Tikona has not bothered to cancel my connection.

                Atleast, twice a weak there is a call from Tikona call centre asking how my connection is working. Its really strange because they never bothered to call me when my connection was active. And now when I have applied for cancellation, they are asking me how my connection is working.

                One such call was received today (24-Jul-2015) afternoon, asking me how good my connection is working. And I had to request the female online, to check if she can see my cancellation request. And yes she was able to see my cancellation request and still she was asking me, if there is any problem with my connection and do I need any help. Really really strange.

                After checking my cancellation request she asked me to give this connection to any relative or friends. When I replied I will not sell this connection to any one instead you cancel it. She replied, she will escalate the request and then saying thankyou and bye, she left.

                Now isn't this the harrasement, a tikona customer has to face for no fault ? Also it took hardly 3-4 hours to start the connection and now does it take 2 months to cancel the connection. Strange or Purposely ?

                  I hardly have network access and when I have, the speed is not even one tenth the speed I have subscribed for. I have called the customer care more than 15 times and got nothing but wasted my time and money and caused mental distress to myself. The person who took my installation request is not picking up the phone after promising to have this issue resolved in 2 days. I am using my 3g connection now. my client id is [protected].

I have not got any call from the person who is suggested for collecting device yet.i called him 2 times, he said, tikona is not mentioned to collect the device.but asked him for techincal assitance.I do not want want technical solution, this is for collecting device.                         Dear Tikona Team,

                        I had availed a new tikona broadband connection on[protected] in the name of with tikona ID:[protected].

                        The next 2 days itself i had found that the internet connection was not stable or continuous.I am using direct tikona LAN, not using modem/router.

                        After many calls to the customer care stating the above problem for which they finally replied that issue arising because of LOW SIGNAL.If my area has LOW SIGNAL, then why the connection is being given to me?

                        After repeated calls to Tikona, customer service arranged a service engineer and attended so many days later and tried all possible ways to make it work. It paid off and the connection was live for few hours.Again started to face issue.I called again that service engineer, but he has never picked up my call for another some days.And picked the call and again he told me the LOW SIGNAL ISSUE.


                        Please note the below Points of my connection.

                        1) Total days not worked - 23 days (Even did not get login page)
                        2) The days Logged in, but not worked (received less than 50 MB) - 11 days.
                        3) The days Logged in, but not worked (received less than 100 MB) - 3 days.
                        4) The days Logged in, but not worked (received less than 200 MB) - 1days.
                        so out of 56 days, 38 days are NOT worked.

                        5) Daily I used to call customer care for complaint.only waste of calling mobile charges.
                        6) The techinical team have never solved my issue and very poor response from them also.


                        Already I have sent the detailed excel file for your reference.


                        Till now i have used 14729 MB only for last 56 days (in 3 months cycling period)

                        I have paid Rs 2247 while installation. But have been getting bill regularly.And finally got bill for around Rs 628.00.

                        I request you, please cancel the bill amount as internet is not working for the above days.


                        And also i requested to cancell my connection due to vacating of my home.But no response, tikona has not arranged a person to collect the device.Finally after 1 month, they collected the device 2 or 3 weeks before.

                        Customer care had confirmed that they will recalculate the bill and will send me the new bill after device collection only.                         kindly take a action. Tikona has to take the next process for final settlement. Without the final settlment how could we solve this issue.

                        Without tikona settlement information how i can understand the situation? But in the mean time getting calls from your person, he said tikona advocate, started to threat me like anything.

                        As a customer i have the rights to ask the details and make complaints against any fraud matters. I have never faced such kind of worst conencction. Without knowing the past details, how can your advocate can threat me ? His call was never like advocate or any responsible person. gundas ?

                        I am waiting for the adjustment from tikona, then we can solve this issue.i mean i will pay the reasonable amount.without using internet why should i pay ? please dont use harmful words .Be like professional company.

                          I have been using this TIKKONA broadband for 4 months where I used to get issues and then it gets resolved after complaining. Later I got an issue which was intermittent and there was no resolution and I asked them to disconnect my connection. But they are now asking me to pay 1330 rs. I have not used for the last three months and they very well know this is in their data . Please investigate and stop this frauds from the company

                            Dear Tikona Team, I have taken your connection having a faith in your company, but your unprofessional attitude towards your service and cheating people has forced me to write a complaint in this forum and also in consumer complaint forum. I had taken your connection on 23rd feb-2015, wherein your sales personal has given the false promises about the network coverage etc. He had assured me that the area is under feasibility and had asked me to do the payment of approx. Rs 2247 for connection activation. I had taken 4mbps plan and to my surprise very rarely I got that kind of speed otherwise it used to be in kbps only. After taking the connection i had started getting frequent disconnection, frequent network downtime, I had registered a complaint to customer care executive and had been assured that my connection will be up and running in some time i.e. within 24 hrs. But to my utter surprise i started getting the above state problem very frequently and i have to say than my network was up hardly for 20 days in two months and only for say 4-5 hrs a day and for rest of the time it used to be down and speed was useless. I kept on registering the complaint and to my knowledge i have made the complaint more than 100 no. of times to customer care and even to talk to customer care i had to wait for atleast 15-20 mins to get connected. Still i had a hope that issues will get resolved. Then in one of my complaint their technical desk associate told me that my area is not in feasible region so you will keep on facing such problem. Then i told him to disconnect the connection, and then they said that they will arrange an engineer’s visit for which I had to do the follow up and had to call their engineer at least 15-20 times. After his visit he also said that area is not in the feasibility range. If the area was not in feasible range then company should disconnect the service by themselves and to keep a faith in customer they should refund their money but nothing happened. So i wrote an email to them for the disconnection since they were not able to provide the service properly and had asked for the refund. Now my questions are: 1. If the area was not under feasible range why did they give me the connection? 2. After giving connection why there customer executive has kept on lying that the connection issues will be resolved. 3. IF the area is not under feasible region i am liable to get back my deposit and amount given to tikona. After couple of months now i have started getting calls from there executive and their legal team or I should say their goons to do the full and final payment for the services that i could not utilize. I am being threatened by their Legal Manager Mr. Patil that I will be jailed for 3 months and i had to pay some penalty in a very abusive language. I feel very depressed and harassed by tikona executive and their legal team. He has threatened me for notice and police procedures and said “apne baap ko bula lena.”. Being an honest citizen of India I feel being cheated by such fraud people who have hired such goons, its very pathetic to see such an unprofessional behavior of such company. Now please suggest what should be done. Now i am being asked to pay approx 600 Rs, i know its not a big amount but why shall i pay for non service and such unprofessional company.

                                  Hi Sir, I am a new customer of Tikona and using it for last 1.5 months and sorry to say this but my experience is horrible with Tikona. ISSUE is" Connectivity breaks on regular intervals, I am not able to use internet continuously for an hour, If any chance it got connected the speed I received is so poor that I cannot use it. Most importantly, I have written more 6 complaints and had called your customer care almost on daily basis but no one is solving the issue. Even I didn't recieved any revert on any of my mails. I didn't receive any communication from TIkona regarding any of my online complaint. Even Tikona has closed all my complaints which I registered through customer care dept without concerning me or without giving me any permanent solution. Screenshot is attached to show the speed I am getting while My plan is 4Mbps. and they took the payment for 2 months advance.

                                      I have been seeking disconnection for a month as the service is extremely shabby and the technology clearly prone to routine failures. I have sent at least 5 mails requesting disconnection and I have had little success. Extension of my connection appears to be the intention of this company, such that the company can seek payment from me for ever. Tikona has provided a connection that does not provide the stated speed (when the connection is up), the connection prone to frequent disconnection, Several emails and phone calls have been made. I have contacted the local field staff and they have not received the work assignment for disconnection. Other than an open ended statement that you are working on it, can you please be specific with dates?
                                      I am aware of one action Tikona has taken. I can no longer speak to a customercare person. When I enter my user ID on the IVRS, I am informed that I will get a call from 022 - 617*****.

                                      1. Tikona may kindly inform me on the last date of charging of services, as I have physically disconnected on 12th July
                                      2. Tikona may kindly inform me when they will collect the "equipment".

                                      June 13, 2015 -
                                      June 16, 2015 - 2 emails
                                      June 28, 2015 - 2 emails
                                      July 11, 2015
                                      July 12, 2015 - 2 emails including information that the cables have been disconnected and device switched off

                                      I have been trying to contact the toll free number but your system cuts me off with the same message that I will be contacted within 48 hours, irrespective of when I call and that too after making me wait for 5+ minutes on an STD call[protected]. Your toll free number requires me to wait for longer or cuts me off right away. The number that you have provided therefore is no help.
                                      After waiting for 20 minutes now, Rupali Gawate that my termination can be done only by July 29th. She has also confirmed that I will not be charged beyond July 12, 2015.

                                      I do not understand why this delay should occur. Please expedite. I am writing through this forum as customer care and the non-existent appellate J. Nair as I only get automated replies.
                                      Your representatives have continued to call including Sat July 25 and July 18 and harass me stating that the problem is being resolved. On each occasion, I have insisted on disconnection. Only then I receive revised dates for disconnection, which seems to an empty promise each time.

                                      1. Calling customer care for disconnection multiple times
                                      2. Writing multiple mails
                                      3. Acknowledgement by email from customercare regarding disconnection request
                                      4. Acknowledgement on this forum
                                      5. Physically disconnecting my connection on July 12, 2015 and informing tikona customercare by email

                                      Any communication to Tikona customercare or their Appellate (J. Nair) results in an auto reply.

                                      Bills are also seemingly auto generated.

                                      There appears to be no human intervention, other than phone calls to demand payment or continue the service that I have repeatedly wanted to terminate. I am amazed that despite so many complaints all over the internet regarding Tikona services, regulatory bodies in the country are not cancelling the license, thereby saving a number of citizens from Tikona's clutches.

                                      Did you bill too got generated? I got this month bill to instead of refund of last month payment...
                                      Rajat am facing exact same issue, only retetion calls, falls promise 15 day period etc etc... since 7th July.
                                      Now got bill too and am never able to reach there customer care, and no reply from email..
                                      Received a generic form letter from the Tikona appellate which I suspect happened due to my copying the email to the TRAI appellate. However, the letter is clearly a cut and paste job (or even auto reply), which suggests that there has been no specific attention to my requests.

                                      My repeated requests for disconnection since June have been ignored. While I am glad that I finally have a written acknowledgement that disconnection will be done as the Service Request Number 1-[protected], dated : 7/11/2015
                                      11:33:34 PM, the text is open ended on how much money will be demanded.
                                      It has been 3.5 weeks now since the request and I do not see any action. Instead I am receiving calls,
                                      smses and emails for payment for the period from 27 July to 26 August, despite my disconnection of the device and no usage since July 12, 2016.

                                      Can someone at Tikona please wake up? Also what is purpose of this forum? Is it limited to airing your problems in public? Are the innumerable complaints against Tikona consolidated and courts /TRAI approached to cancel their license? How does one seek compensation for the harassment, mental agony and waste of time?

                                        In dec2014 we requested tikona services by calling on their customer care number to disconnect our connection due to bad connections. Still they forced us not to cancel but we insisted on it and they agreed that our connection is cancelled. Still from Jan 2015 they started sending usual bills as i already have personally disconected all the wires on 30 Dec 2014. In april i got a call from one named Alka Mishra as Advocte ([protected]) to pay the bills, after explaining her all details she agreed once i paid these further charges i will get NOC from Tikona about cancellation of my service. but after my Payment even she is not responding and Tikona customer services number is just useless as no one attends any calls. I also have messages sent by Alka Mishra tat i should make payments. And i again fear they will play the same trick again, cause still they are sending bills.

                                        i have also received the same call from some advocate in delhi saying you will have to pay the bill and a complaint is lodged against you in delhi court. and i will have to appear in delhi civil court. and as i am from mumbai they can send someone to collect the payment if i want to settle it amicably.
                                        being an advocate myself i told them to send me courts notice. and calls stopped. i think its a high possibility that you are being cheated by someone. now a days people working in these companies leak details to other people who use this information to extort money. you should check it properly before making any kind of payment.
