Hi, I raised request to close the Tikona Connection [protected]. I raised the request on 26th of June. I gave the reason as poor broadband connection. The customer support person said the connection will be closed on 10th July and after then in 2 working days, which is around 13th, I should get the final bill. They said tikona will try to fix the issue. But no technician turned up to my home. The date went past 10th july. I got a new internet connection. But still now on Aug 1st my connection is not closed. And because of an immediate assignment I went out of station. So no way I can retain/add tikona connection. I informed this to tikona. In-spite of several calls to Tikona, nothing is working out. I can see customer support is useless and no one in tikona bothers the ticket they raise. They raised many tickets to solve my connection issue, but no technical person came to my home to solve. Now they raise many tickets to close the connection, but no one bothers. Not sure, if tikona is working as a company. Can Some one in Tikona do something to solve this? This attitude is bringing very bad opinion on this company and I not sure if I can ever return to tikona or suggest to any one except for my enemies. Hi termination was processes. I got a mail that in 15, days some one will pick devices. But no one picked up anything. I have raised another complaint. Hence closing this. Atleast i am half way thru.

Same complaint -- tikona is not closing the account . i have send multiple mails to all the costumer care emails, even to something called a Appellate authority ( Somebody called J Nair) .all they say is we have acknowledged your email..
but no action, i have tried beg and plead with these guys but they will answer.
At the most they do is give missed call to your number, even if you pick up they will disconnect, if you call back there is no answer .

they will not disconnect your connection and then keep sending bills .. i guess i should now be waiting for some bill collector to call or some fake lawyer to call so that these guys can extract money .

If they want to add a new connection it will be done in one day ... U want to disconnect .. Then there are teams looking into it, J Nair team looks into it .. Your wait on tikon hot hot lines takes forever ..(earlier it would be like 4 minutes or something now it would be like 15 minutes .

Hi,

Thanks for the request for termination. But after a month also after sending termination notice, no one in tikona is bothered to take the device.
So my bill is not generated.
I am still waiting for the connection to be closed.
Seriously I doubt if the company exists, and is there anyone working there.

      I installed Tikona Internet at my house mainly because we have only 3 ISP in Rajkot. Reliance being reliance has THE WORST customer service. My plan is of 4mbps till 80gb and after that i get 512kbps.So I had to pay for 3 months in advance for the service. During this 3 months, i had have not a single moment of stable connection. It keeps dropping like every 5 minutes. I need to go and restart their modem. Even if it works, i get speed of 0.05 mbps. And whats even more is that their technical department knows nothing. They say that 0.05 kbps is 512kbps. Yeah we consumer are jackasses. Half of 1024 is 512 and half of 1 is 0.05. Retards. I have been constantly calling them them everyday to fix my service but they have my money now so instead of giving better service, they just respond by saying your connection is now fixed. So I warn every tikona aspirant consumer to never eventhink of getting tikona. This is basically a scam company that gives no value for your money.

        I Chandrashekar with Tikona account number [protected] have placed a cancellation request with reference to Service Request Number 1-[protected] on 5th July 2015, and i got a call from Tikona regarding the same while i confirmed them please disconnect the service since i have ACT INTERNET at home now. I also have received an email from tikona stating the cancellation will be done within 15 working days, but yet have received a bill for 2950/- rupees incl. Recurring Charge (From 26-Jul-2015 to 25-Aug-2015 ) while at-least 15 advisors informed me that there will be no charges to you after 1st july since i have not used my internet at all. I have called them atleast 20 times and no one gets back or no resolution, the advisors are rude to hung up calls with no help. Find attached the cancellation confirmation email from tikona, recent bill i received from tikona.

          Actually i got connection on 23 June'15 and made payment of 2280 INR and my internet is not running from 25th June'15 when i call to customer care they don't response me. I requested for disconnection also but no one came to me and now they don't pick phone also. Can any one help me please.

            Hello,

            I have subscribed to tikona broadband services for about an year now and I have been requesting a disconnection past quite a few months and everytime I call the customer care my call is either disconnected by the agent or my complaint is being unheard. As I spoke with the last agent, I explained to her that I have been requesting a disconnection past 3 months and i have also been asking for a home pickup for the balance payment, but i am getting no response regarding that. Recently i have recieved an email from TDS for bill payment otherwise i will face legal action, in response to that, please check my last usage as its been almost 3 months that i have used the services and requested for a disconnection and would request you to kindly disconnect my tikona services immediately and adjust my bill accordingly, as I feel, i am being harassed as a consumer by TDS.

              Dear Team, This is regards for the net connection purchased on 5th May'15 by depositing Rs. 2650 as advance by trusting there team member. Post that not even a single day able to use there facility properly. Spent almost Rs. 800-900 on phone call without getting any solution. Now the company is not disconnecting the connection and asking me to use the way it is. Also I believe this company doesn't have any manager or even supervisor who can give a quick resolution for this simple problem. The services are pathetic and now they are not refunding the money back and no body dares to call to resolve this issue.                 I have been using this company's Internet service from over a year now but from 31st May 2015 i started facing several network issues due to which i wasnt able to use the service and thus i made several complaints to the Tikona Customer Care number[protected] and was assured of quick solution to it, initially they said that the tower from which the networks are provided are down and will be solved in 12 hours but afraid the problem persisted for next many days and i went out of town. When i returned in a week my family said internet is still not working, i immediately called the Technical support again and they assigned a technician which came after 2 days but he wasnt able to solve the issue then and said he will address this issue to upper executives to look into it. Then i never heard them back untill 24th/25th June when i again made a complaint regretting that i choosed their service over airtel. The guy raised a complaint for a complete waiver till 24th June 2015 and assigned an engineer again who visited my place on 27th and finally he solved the issue and i started using the internet untill 2 hours after it again vanished, i was full of hatred against them and called again. They again said the backened tower is under repair, it will be solved in the next 10 hours or so. I again raised a waiver request for not using internet because of the company;s issues from 31st May to 27th June now but again nothing got working untill 2nd July(and no waiver given till yet). I made a complaint again on 2nd July and again 11th July and again via email to [protected]@tikona.in explaining each and every aspect of the problems i was facing but still no positive reponse from that time and stopped calling and complaining them after then untill their executive visited my place to collect bill for the entire period for which i dint pay due to all above mentioned problems. I explained the executive and he went directing me to forward the written email complaint (i sent to [protected]@tikona.in ) again to [protected]@tikona.in assuring me he will solve it immediately. But like everytime i havent heard back from him again and the company people call me every day 10 times asking me to clear the outstanding. Finally i raised one last complaint stating to either disconnect my connection OR waive of the entire amount till 29th july they invoiced me for only 2-3 days of service in the last 2 months.                   Your service quality is known to everyone. After months of service not provided by you, and subsequent disconnection request, you are asking for due amount? Which due amount? Can you explain? Now to add to situation, fake calls are made from their collection agents etc (mobile : [protected] and [protected]) representing as advocates.. I have no dues against company, returned all equipments and have written correspondence proof with company. Disconnection of internet services user id : [protected] Mayank Mar 29 To customercare Despite many repeated requests, your team is not able to solve my internet frequent disconnection problem even after giving due consideration and time. Your customer care team always asks for one more day to resolve but sadly that day doesnt come. You are requested to disconnect this service immediately with my right to legal recourse intact as i may deem fit and i would not be liable for any billing for this month also as you have failed to provide the internet services to me due to which my work has suffered a lot.                   Hi Tikona Team, This is Gayathri S from Chennai and i was using Tikona Nearly for 6 months and later due to the reason that In need to shif to some other place i applied for disconnection of service, for which I called multiple number of times and my service got terminated..Now the issue, the last mail that I received from Tikona is 21-Jun-15 saying that I will final bill settlement amount as soon a spossible..But i did not receive yet..Today(3-Aug-15), i received a call from a person named Devaraj from Delhi and asked me to pay the dues, if not case will be filed against me..I just need a proper information on this..since i trust that tikona is providing good service tot eh customers, why dont u people call me immediately with the bill due amount that needs to be paid and also said that an amount of rs.1500 will be refunded back..I need proper explanation, if i get proper then will refer my friends for Tikona..since i enjoyed the service of tikona.

                    Now this is frustating, I dont know why you guys dont update the tickets properly, each and every time i get a call to ask for the technical issue, when i have already communicated and the engineer both junior and one senior engineer have visited the place. It was told that the latency is quite high because of too much load on the tower and I can go for closure of the connection. Again today i am getting the call that what is the issue, and engineer will be made available to you. Why again when already the things have been sorted from both end. Is this some kind of a joke that TIKONA Management and Customer Care is doing. My request number was 1-[protected] and still the connection is working. May I know the reason for that? It was told that I was not reachable, why do you want to reach me when I have already told over several communication that stop my connection. Please just dont give lame excuses and stop during Harassment.

                      My user id is [protected]. I am not able to use internet from past 2 month. I have called tikona customer care hundreds of times. Last month tikona area manager visited my house to check signal availability. He confirmed that signal availability in our house is not good.Finally i have requested for cancellations of my connection. After one month of duration also they are not ready to disconnect. I have not used internet for last two month, but they are sending bills on every month. Why should i pay for you now. Please do cancellation of my connection as soon as possible . I requested for wavier several times in last two month bills.They are not responding properly.

                        My tikona account number - [protected].After severe frustration with the service, I've sent mail to customer support 10 days before for surrendering my connection. Since I'm working for a banking client I clearly told customer support that I cannot pick calls and asked to consider my mail as a personal acknowledgment for disconnecting connection. I don't understand why these people are not considering my surrender request. I've stopped using the service 10 days before. And I've received bill for this month. Why should I pay for something that I've not used.

                          Hi Tikona team,

                          Its been for past 6 months i am victim of your services and poor ethics. I have raised disconnect request in December 2014. My id is [protected]. It took 3 months for you to disconnect and repeatedly you ask me to pay bill without services. If i call customer care i get messages that you will contact me. Neither you contact me nor you pick up our calls. I have written atleast 10-15 emails even to J Nair mentioning about the kind of support and torture we are having with disconnection and closure of the account. Lastly i mentioned that i cant pay the bill as i did not avail the service. your technician did visit in December 2014 and mentioned that signal is not coming due to building obstruction in the area. How can you charge me with bill without services. Post to that i get threatening calls, after that you moved the file to legal colls (some legal agency) telling that you will file a case. Today i received a call from one lady telling that she is government lawyer. Guys, if you are behind INR 1200/- i could have donated that but the way you are treating this entire part is very frustrating. A reason why i am not happy with all the services and interactions i had with your team. Also if i write an email from registrered email id i get a response mentioning that it is not registered email id. How can you respond that way, then why are you sending bills and billing information and notices to that email id. Always you send an email that you tried reaching us and we never lifted the phone. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Someone from your team asked to surrender the tikona box, we asked him to come and pick it up. No one ever turned up till date to pick up tikona box.

                          if you cant mangage the services and operations then why are you operating? what is promise of service to customer when we took the connection. Now someone calls us and told that they will stop our bank account, passport, drivers license and credit cards. How dare you can speak to us like that. Also did you send a single hard copy notice to us regarding the issue.

                          if you really want to be in court, i am happy to come with all hard evidences i had. Not only me, lot of others in my area had similar issues and disconnected the services.

                          Remember, you cant threaten customers and trouble them. This is not good for your company.

                          Always try to see ways to resolve the complaints, atleast respond to customer. i am unsure what are you going to achieve by threatening customers with bills where services are not availed.

                          Please look into this matter and close any related dispute immediately.

                            This is my second complain here ! Tikona is truly ridiculous ! [ 1st complain ID: 1053580] I had subscribed Tikona in April for 3 months [worst mistake of my life]. I barely used it for a week & the connection stopped working all their junior & senior engineers tried for one and a half month still couldn't resolve it. I had asked for termination since May 3rd but they are not terminating I had called to customer care at least 20 times in last 2 months but every time I am getting different answers. I had disconnected the device on 29th May & put it aside still they haven't terminated the service and now it is the height of shamelessness they are sending me bills. This is the most pathetic company I have ever come across. I have sent an email to TRAI as well to terminate such companies as the consumers are suffering. I would erg all to do the same. KILL TIKONA !!!

                              I shifted from Chennai on 25/06/2015 and disconnected my Tikona Internet connection (UserID: [protected])the same time. First of all they regularly call to confim my dessision and pitch me a sale which I dont like and after one month now they are telling my bill is due and I get calls 3-5 times a day for payment of bill.

                                Hi, We have not consumed the tikona internet from last 1 month but the bill has been generated. Further, we have asked them to discontinue the service but after so many followups nothing they have done. We are shifting our house and asked them to take the POE adapter etc but all in vain.

                                  My tikona user id: [protected] was transferred to a new user id [protected]. In this procedure, my account was terminated, and a new account was created. We lived on rent. I moved out, and they came in. We were told that the device setup will be the same, as the address is same. It sounded logical. So we agreed. Later I received a mail stating that I have to give back the installed devices. I called tikona, wherein they said that its an auto generated email and is not for my purpose. Its been two months since that day. I dont even live in that city. Now, I have started receiving calls from tikona asking for device setup, and when will I be returning those. When I had asked for a disconnection, people from Tikona would talk to me, and not just he call centres. Now, when I ask these call centre people to transfer my calls, they either disconnect it, or put it on hold. I am frustrated with their calls. Whenever I receive the call, I explain them the situation, and they say they have put a note, but again the next day I receive a call, wherein they say that there was no note put.

                                  Although you have mentioned here that you are taking some action, but till now I have not received any message or indication from your side that something is being done. Moreover, the full and final calculation should not take this much time. Its been around 4 months now. And, I have to carry the phone number(on roaming) just because you are famous as a fraud. What I want is as follows:
                                  1) A formal email from your side to my registered email id stating that my connection was terminated, and the device were transferred to a new user(the details of which is available to you, and if not then call me to know more.)

                                  Untill and unless I get an email stating the above, I will keep on posting your complaint on any social media, or open space I find. I want this because you had already sent me an email to return my device, for which I had to call you back. You said that it was an auto generated email and I need not worry about it. But 2 months later, you call me back asking for the device and stating that I am doing wrong act of not submitting the device. You referred to that email. I can put upi the person to whom you transferred the device. I can bring upi call logs where in you said that I dont have to submit the device as it is being transferred. Also, for the same reason you did not take any installation cost for it.

                                  ITS BEEN 4 MONTHS, AND STILL NOW YOU ARE WAITING THAT WHEN I DISCONNECT MY REGISTERED PHONE NUMBER AND YOU COULD PUT UP A LEGAL CASE AGAINST ME. I HAVE SENT YOU SO MANY MAILS ON THE CUSTOMER CARE EMAIL ID, YOU HAVE NEVER SENT ME ANY CALLS/EMAILS BACK.

                                  SO, WHY SHOULDN'T I CALL YOU A THIEF, A FRAUD? JUST GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON FOR IT
                                  Even this site says " Bad news - Even though we've managed to contact the company, they're quite slow at resolving complaints." My question: Do you even resolve complaints? Thiefs/Frauds don't resolve, but create a mess!!

                                      Tikona Broadband is a fraud company. These people are cheating public by providing wrong details. I took a connection of 1100 plan in gurgaon where they promised to give 50 GB at 4 Mbps speed and post that 2 Mbps till next billing cycle. but after consuming 50 GB my speed dropped to 512 kbps . And when I called them they told me that 1100 plan is changed to 950 plan now and I have to switch on 950 plan after paying the amount of 1100 plan. Are you Tikona management fool or think that people are fool. Why anyone will pay 1100 plan charge when he is getting facilities of 950 plan.
