My Tikona Broadband has been out of service for 4 days following a storm in the Chattarpur Extn. area of New Delhi. I've tried contacting Customer Service but the numbers are unresponsive (there's a recording message that says all operators are busy, please call after some time). In fact, from the time I became a subscriber to Tikona in March 2014, I have been unable to contact customer service even once. This company is cheating customers by providing poor quality service, and needs to be taken to consumer court.

    Hi, My user ID is [protected]. I am using tikona since past many years. From day one onwards i am unable to browse internet properly. I have to call the customer care daily, they will say my problem will be resolved in 3 hours. But it never does. I had switched the plan from 2 MBPS to 4 MBPS because I had connectivity issue since 2 years so I decided to switch to 4 MBPS. Without any luck the problem keeps on persisting. Firstly I never get the speed as promised. Secondly there is water seepage from inside covering of the wire I complained about this to customer care but they keep on saying that "it's not our problem". Thirdly customer care sucks bigtime. Fourthy three months before they send a technician and that technician slole my iPhone earphones and 8 GB pendrive.

      2 months before i have taken tikona new connection & subscribed for 3 months. from day one onwards i am unable to browse internet properly.Daily i have to call the customer care, they will say my problem will be resolved in 3 hours. After that it may work for 1 hr, next day i have to call them again for connection. After 10 days of this process i called them to disconnect my connection & opted for remaining 2 months money what i have payed. i dint used the internet for 10 days after that they have generated the bill again. i called then and enquired about that, they told that the connection is working properly so u can use it . again i am facing the same issue. my pacakge is 30 gb 4 mbps, hardly i use 5 mbps monthly due to browsing speed & connectivity issue. i have to do work from home where i have to login to internet at late nights due to it i am facing many issues

      I Dont want to continue with tikona anymore, what you people have done from last 2 months.Please refund my money back & i need compensation for the nuisance & time waste created by you people.

      But sad to see that the bill is generated even after you have opted for the money back.

      Do not expect anything from then Naveen.
      Except only regular bills(but not regular services), no waiver or no compensation, but only legal notice from the court if you don't pay.

          Hi, I am an Tikona user with user id - [protected] and facing internet login issue and speed issue from a long period of time. Almost every month I call tikona to complaint either about "Not able login in tikona" or about "facing internet issue".Also everytime I call, I ask to talk a senior person and always they tell me there is no senior person available and we can arrange a callback for you and this call never came. The people at customer care have same answer to every question.I dont know what kind of service you people are running here. Also my internet month cycle end at 14th, and every month my internet become drastically slow during the period of 9th to 14th(I am not been able to open even facebook page) and when I check my usage it somehow magically shows me that my 30gb data limit have already reached even when I have not done a single download in whole month. This is a pure case of fraud and Tikona is cheating its customer. Tikona people start calling its customer for payment of bills even before reaching their deadlines and that too 3-4 times a day and that is totally stupid and irritating. I assume after writing my issue in this detail anyone would listen and reply to my query other I will definitely close my tikona internet from next month

              I had purchased a connection by getting into their words, even though my place had signal problem which they didnt fix in a duration of 2+ years after frustrating with them I submit connection termination request they told me that it will going to take 14-15 days in processing request, and ask me to pay the next month bill inorder to make it easy for us in clearance and you will get the remaining balance, still I had not received the balance it has been more than 3 months, my tikona account number is [protected].

                I have lodged a complaint before, but no actions were taken... I had taken the plan which promises me 1Mbps speed from 8am-8pm and 520Kbps speed from 8pm-8am. But the speed doesn't rise above 100Kbps at any time of the day. It sometimes even falls to speed as low as 5-10Kbps. I request you to resolve this problem as soon as possible.                   The speed drops significantly after 3 pm till midnight. and hence hasn't been able to use the internet services peacefully. From 5th May to 1st June, I made 6 complaints and every time I was told that it will start working fine after 8 hrs. I also spoke with 3 supervisors at few occasions where I had got very frustrated.                   Guess what, Last evening at around 7 I had some important office work to do and I could not connect. Tried lot of different things and it connected automatically after 1 hrs but worked with snail's speed. When contacted the support team, I got through an Engr after a wait time of 12 min. And then he checked the details, kept me on hold for another 5 min and gave me same answer. He would take a complaint, the advance or back-end team will work on it and give a resolution in 4-5 hrs. That means no Internet connection and no office work. Same drama continues. And I pay for nothing but screwed up services. And to add up to the list one more complaint: 1-[protected].

                  When asked for a Supervisor, he said there's some issue with the tower which has been going on from past 1 month and they are not sure when will it be resolved. Why is there no sense of giving a good service to the customer's on taking the money? Why cant TIKONA people use their heads and check for alternate tower, OR tell me on my face they cant provide the service? Why am I been provided with incomplete Service when I have paid full amount??

                  Not sure what to do. Already fed up calling these guys n number of times.

                  SO I URGE PEOPLE NOT GO FOR TIKONA IN ANY CASE. Trust me its better without their messed up connection rather than calling them n number of times and causing yourself STRESS.

                    My user id is [protected] I live in a rental house. I asked tikona to disconnect my connection because I had to shift. They didnt take my request and kept calling me to take my conenction with me wherever I am going. I seriously do not want to use their connection any more. I said that, finally after 2 hours of furious talk they took my request. My internet should have been disconnected by May 30, which was a safe side for me. But between these 15 days my Intenet stopped working. Other members from my flat called from(that is not a registered number) their number, and asked for connectivity issue, where they were told that disconnection request was raised. These people(from flat) asked to resolve the issue and transfer the ownership, wherein tikona told them to send an sms from the registered phone through which they can change the registered phone number and registered email address. Transfer of ownership takes some time, so they said to let the id proof be the same and they will change the registered phone number and email id. With this they also terminated my request of internet disconnection. I didnot wanted them to do so, I wanted my connection to terminate, and these people would have taken another connection. I got furious, and angry, and started calling their customer support, where they did not take may request. I can tell this because when I called the next day asking for status update for the request raised the previous day, they said that a request was not raised. Finally, a request was taken on June 2(which was not a disconnection request, but some other request) for the first time. Since then, I called them each day. Before leaving for office I made a point to call them around 8-9 am(everyday). When I called to billing team, they said I should call to technical team. When I called to technical team, they said it should be handled by billing team. I kept calling them because I had not received any email like the last time stating that my disconnection request had been taken, and I should expect a full and final settlement email by 15 days from that day. I also told them that I'll file a case at consumer court, for which the caller said "Okay"(that's it). finally my billing cycle due date passed, for which I started receiving calls from tikona to pay the bill. The bill is payed in advance for the coming month. I payed the bill of 1910 INR (because tikona has a lot of cases files against it for not takinng disconnection request since the bill was not paid, even though the bill is paid in advance, its a silly reason to make). The new flatmates also wanted to take tikona, because Airtel, ACT etc.. broadband service is not present in my area. So, now I asked for a transfer of ownership. The caller agreed, took my details and the member on whose name the connection had to be transferred. Now, the moment I payed the bill, they called me stating that they have taken my disconnection request and will terminate my connection that day(At this point I have already paid for the coming month. And, till that date, they hadn't taken my disconnection request). They even sent their representatives to my home(Their representatives had never come to my home whenever I faced issue with their connection). Their representatives shouldn't had come to take the setup, bacause ownership was being transferred, and address remained the same. I had to again call them to ask for refund, where first they said, that the amount I paid will be lapsed, then they agreed to let us use the connection till 20 June, and they will send the new user id by 20 June. Since that day My internet is not working. I have raised several request, but in vain. It should be noted, that the call to their customer service is not answered at that moment and there is a waiting time of 10-15 minutes(even though they say its around 5 minutes), and when they transfer the call, then again there is a awaiting time. My time is precious. Had they taken my request on June 2 itself, My connection would have been terminated, and I would have paid the full and final settlement amount. Now, I am stuck with no internet, with no one taking my request, and I am not sure whether the connection would be terminated on 20 June. The customer care is useless. They dont know anything to answer other than "Sorry". Most of the time I get furious, and frustrated after calling them. I want them to take two of my request, and give me a proof that they have taken the request. 1) Fix my internet asap, or refund the amount for the number of days net is not working. 2) disconnect/terminate my account on 20 June, and send over a new user id on a different id proof, and not my id proof. They had agreed on transferring of ownership and a new user account, after completely terminating the current one.

                      Hi, I had a new setup for Tikona from agent (name Rajesh - Mob - [protected]) (NEVER CALL OR GET CONNECTION FROM HIM EVER... SUCH A USELESS AND ARROGANT GUY)... SRF Number [protected] Name JAVID HUSSAIN registered in my dad mobile number - [protected] My mobile number - [protected] (You can call me to this number anytime) Customer Account Number[protected] Billing Account Number[protected] USER ID [protected] It took a week for them to setup the device and make everything operational(May 31 around 8PM), next day itself the internet was completely gone and I tried email to customer care, Apellate authority (Nair) and even reached out the same guy Rajesh to help me out. Then I waited patiently for them to reach me out. Took several days still nobody helped, again contacted customer care they said the (useless) device doesn't signal from tower, I opted for cancellation of service (Req # 1-[protected]). Then after few days technical support guy came to my place and tried to fix the problem and begged to give one more chance (HIS MOBILE NUMBER - [protected]) keeping for records. I said okay and he confirmed that there is a disturbance and the device doesn't pickup signal due to interference between two different tikona towers. I asked for a full refund and he said he will arrange that. I called and confirmed with tikona agent (customer care) stating that they will give a full refund for non technical feasibility, I was assured that atleast i'll get my investment back. Now I received a bill for about 2304.78 Rs for using tikona service for even few hours, such a ripoff (unethical and scam)? (attached for reference) STILL NOBODY RESOLVED THIS PROBLEM AND I HAVEN'T EVEN USED IT FOR BROWSING OR ANYTHING. SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT... :@ TIKONA IS A --SCAM - unethical -CHEATERS - FRAUD COMPANY - SHOULD BE BANNED PERMANENTLY FOR CHEATING CUSTOMERS BASED ON THEIR RESPONSE I'LL LOG A COMPLAINT IN CONSUMER COURT.                           Worst service by your chennai team, i am facing network issue morethan 4 weeks, even raised requested on 08\06/15 till now no response. To call customer care and waiting 20+ mins whenever login, for this i am paying, i didnt get enough respect from such big company for my complaint. Hope i will get some solution.

It gave me great trouble .no service and proper support provide after many complaints. In 4 March 15 I asked for termination of my connection and not pais my last bill due to the poor service and no support on the reversal of pending 350 rs. Informed the customer care about all this during many calls starting from MAR 3rd and wrote a mail even to the customer care on 6 mar 15 to stop my service as a remainder. and spoke to the customer care to please collect your wire and other equipments from my house and even updated the same to the local team too. They too acknowledged that they will collect the devices. months. ... many phones regarding bill payment received by tikona, I explain the issue clearly about the reversal to be given and i PAID THE BALANCE 400. Even after this I saw many bills been genarted continusly for two months and late fees too has been added to it. Finally i recived mail by april 17th on the final settlement of 450(Pending 350 reversal and late fee of 100) and termination of connection. The device has been collected and the connection has been terminated. After 2 months now I recceived a call [protected] from Delhi STATING THAT CONSUMER COURT CHAMBER and she said that company case a file against me AND I HAVE TO PAY 1022 rupees of pending amount now immediately to solve the case without any case filing and issues. I don't at all understand how come they can file a case on me for which THEY HAVE TO PAY ME 350 and how the amount has been made as 1022 I don't have a clue. I contact customer care more than 10 times . Please rectify my problem and close my case.

                              I got the connection in mid-January with a 3 month advance payment plan. I shifted to new place where Tikona service was not available. So, i got the connection disconnected in February; first week, and deposited all the concerned devices to your engineers. Soon, i was assured that i will be receiving the refund check within 20 Days period. I WAITED ! But no, it never happened to me. There was no feedback or information provided despite multiple reminders. Its been 3 month delay till now in receiving the REFUND AMOUNT CHECK (after eluding your 20 days processing time). I have called 43 times to their customer care cell, inquiring about the updates every time; regarding the CHECK, followed by an updated complaint. NOTHING HAPPENS THOUGH. The things are all the same. . Also, each time i call, i have to state the WHOLE CASE again and again. "Their people just don't follow." It has cost me a huge amount of time and peace. They just state the same things again and again. 1. have you submitted the device? (which i have long back ! why you people don't update it or cross check with your engineers on self?) 2. we have registered your query, our seniors will you in 2-3 days (to which i was finally told today that they actaully don't, on SUCH MATTERS, PATHETIC !!!). I don't find it any useful talking to your customer care-takers', they are hopeless. I have a refund amount of Rs. 1720/- which i duly need by 1 week's time. Further, I need to be compensated, cause the delay and loose slips were on your part, due to which i have suffered a great deal of time and PEACE. That is totally unacceptable. Also, writing mails, complaints to the Appellate Authority has been of no use. NO ONE IS WILLING TO RESPOND I GUESS. So, i request you to kindly look into the matter soon; on a high priority basis. If the problem is not resolved, i will have to file legal fraud charges. I won't wait long now.                                 Hi, My Name is Jimmy Furia and my Tikona ID is - [protected]. I have taken Tikona prepaid internet service in the month of November - 2014 and since that i have been facing frequent issue with my internet. I have logged various complaints with Tikona and that too at various level (Customer care, Tikona Forum and Appellate Authority) also but never received permanent solution. I applied for disconnection in the Month of March 2015 but at that time i was promised by Tikona retention team that my issue will be resolved and i will get permanent solution and i got fooled by them and i decided to resume with Tikona internet services. Later, my subcription was about to expire in the month of May 2015 and i had decided not to renew my internet services but i received a call from Tikona and they offered me extra 10GB of data with my next rechrge and i again got fooled by them and did recharge worth INR 2099 /- for one year validity and 50GB of data usage plus 10GB bonus data on 7th May 2015. And after that also my connection related issues remained and i have lost the faith in Tikona services. Now more frustrating was the behaviour of the customer care executives and their rigid approach to problem solving. Finally i decided to disconnect the internet services and i logged the request for the same with Tikona (Ref no 1-[protected]) on 07-Jun-2015. I received one call from Tikona (Mr Pathan) with reference to this and he told me that as i have prepaid connection my money will not be refunded and disconnection process will take around 15 days. I was shocked to hear the blunt reply that my hard earned money will not be given back to me even if i am not able to use internet service OF Tikona. And thats the Tikona's policy. I had decided to put on all the details of my problems to Tikona forum (http://forum.tikona.in/viewforum.php?f=41&sid=549e625392d2e51da88ac04f36a4cb7e) in hope that they will take down my issues seriously and my disconnection request will be processed with priority and also to make all other Tikona users aware about the Tikona's Fraud policy. But to my surprise Tikona forum decided not to publish my post and i received call from Tikona forum and they told me bluntly that Tikona Forum DO NOT ENTERTAIN disconnection request and they will not post my feedback on their forum. They also denied to give my money back and not to say about the language their executive (Siraj) used during this conversation. When i told this fellow about i will raise this issue on all the consumer forums as well as tikona forum, he told me that you can do whatever you want to but your money wont be refunded. Lastly, i had received a call from Tikona Forum's admin (Aarti) on 11-Jun-2015, where she told me that Tikona forum does not display and ENTERTAIN disconnection requests on forum and she kept on arguing with me that there is no other broadband internet service provider who has their own Forum, etc... At the end she told me with in next 24 hours she will collect all the information and get back to me but as usual i have not received any communication from her (or Tikona). Below are list of few issues ids that i have faced in last few months and have been able to note down. 1-[protected] 1-[protected] 1-[protected] 1-[protected] 1-[protected] 1-[protected] 1-[protected] 1-[protected] There are many more issues that i had faced and logged with Tikona but unfortunately i do not have all the IDs with me. My present account data balance is 59GB which is much more than what Tikona offers (50GB) to the customer in INR 2099/. The reason for writing such a big descriptive mail is to make everyone aware about the Tikona's policy and the way Tikona treats their customers. I request everyone to think hard before you go for the Tikona's internet services because once you pay for their servces they wont refund your money even if they are not able to provide you their internet services. But i am not going to allow Tikona to loot me like this, I demand from Tikona a quick disconnection of my internet services and full refund of INR 2099/- ASAP. And i need help of ConsumerCpomplaints.in and whole internet community. Thanks

                                  Guys i got the connection in bangalore, after 3 months i changed the home, i given request to then to change the net connection, there they didnt have net connection. they didnt repond for me long time, they were putting bill for 3 months. they are threatening with law peoples, without using the net connection i paid bill. they dont have proper service, there will not be net speed also.

                                    Complaint is the tikona internet been installed at my place on 20th of may 2015 and was working fine that time. Very next day on 21st it stopped working and lost the connectivity.                                         Hi, I subscribed to Tikona service in Bangalore.during installation, I had to pay in advance for the first 3mths which I did. In the 2nd mth, April 2015, I had connectivity issues. after repeated calls n threatning to cancel my service, Tikona resolved my issue as prob was at their end and said I would get refund as i could not use their service for 10days. I never git a refund of this. Now im trying to ccancel my service as I have shifted to Hyderabad. They have cancelled my service from May but money is nor refunded. Everutime I call them, thet say they will escalate the issue n revert in 48hrs.. Its going to be a month since my connection is cancelled. Please help me to get my cancellation refund from them

                                        What response can one expect from a service provider like this???!!! Look at the Tikona Forum. Not a single person has anything good to say about their service. Customer service is an absolute joke! Rude executives who will not transfer the call anywhere..not even to supervisor. All the time they are in meetings. If you are offered a call back from them, call will be disconnected within 2 rings before you can even pick the phone to say Hello. Then they update saying customer did not answer the calls. DISGUSTING!!!
