1. The salesperson sold the connection when the connectivity was limited
2. Since the connectivity was limited the person who installed the connection did not complete the work order (all though the internet was working).
3. 10 phone calls and 7 emails over 1.5 months were required before they sent a representative to check things.

People at call center are either dumb or rude or both. Replies to emails are copy paste. Also, they say that is is wireless internet but it is a wrong statement. They either place a modem at the window or the terrace (in most cases) and than you have the coax cable dangling about.

Only action is taken if you email the Appalette authority. (that too will have a 3 day lag).

Now trying to cancel the connection. Already have made 3 calls and 3 emails. Nothing seems to have moved.

My observation is that their internal processes are rigid and the staff are not well trained.

    This is to inform you that I have requested Internet Connection from Tikona in the month of April 2011 .Executive Gugan (Mobile no [protected]) from Tikona Collected the cheque on 26 april 2011 and amount was deducted from my account 7 th may 2011 but Tikona is not activated my account up to 18 may. My user id is [protected]. i have already 10 to 15 times complaint to customer care but no resolve the my account problem but bill was sending bill amount Rs- 712. Again call for customer care 3 times they are telling for customer care is not complaint sir is regular work for bill process. I have suffered mental agony. so please disconnect my connection.

      There is no connectivity for several days and no response from the Call center. Raised complaints almost 8 times and didn't get proper response and the payment collection people coming to house and creating nuisance.No one has bothered to even look into the customer complaints. Finally, after several failed attempts to restore my connection I asked them to disconnect my connection as it was of no use. In spite of this I am getting my monthly bill. They are making a fool of the customer as giving bad service and collecting the full fees. Now they are harassing me to pay the bills or they will send me a legal notice.

      Please take action against tikona for bad service and harassing people.

      Tikona Broadband — Poor Service and harrassment

      There is no connectivity for several days and no response from the Call center. No one has bothered to even look into the customer complaints. Finally, after several failed attempts to restore my connection I asked them to disconnect my connection as it was of no use. Inspite of this I am getting my monthly bill. Also, they had collected a deposit of 500 in the begining from me and I want a refund of it as their service from the begining has been pathetic. They are making a fool of the customer as giving bad service and collecting the full fees. Now they are harrassing me to pay the bills or they will send me a legal notice.

        My Account no is [protected] Tikona BB 600kbps unlimited plan. Connection taken in March 2011. I am fedup with these guys. Since the begining of May 2011, my connection goes off exactly at 7pm and restores exactly at 10am next day. I will not discuss about speed issues since many used have already complained about speed earlier and I am facing the same speed issues.

        Also the Customer care is useless. They speak as if they are doing a favour. The technical team from Mumbai is beyond imagination. They seek help of technical books while solving customer complaints over Phone and the poor customer has to wait for minutes to get a incorrect solution. The fault was also identified by me and further convyed to the technical team i.e signal meters not working during the above timings. Seems to be done purposefuly.

        The Nodal and appellate authority seems to be handling to many complaints since I had asked for contact no of one of the officers but no response as they cannot face a customer.

        Please guys do not go in for Tikona Connection BB / Wifi. It has the worst service and technical problems are out of this world as the technical team it elf cannot solve them. Go for some other ISP instead.

        i have taken my net connection 6 months back in tikona !! they have promised to give me 599 plan that uis 599 speed !! for the past 4 months iam comlianing about slow speed there has been no response from them !!!i have payed all the bills till date !!! now a days my itself is not working but repeated compliants also they have not turned up to check out my problem i request u to kindly check my id number is [protected] !!! tikona services pvt ltd !!!

          I just want to know, whether the speed is through out the month is same or not ?

          If yes, then after how much time or how much usage it ll change.

          As discussed with your customer representative, he was saying that your usage is cross 5 GB so your speed ll decrease, he is unable to answer how much it ll decrease. And one more thing still my usage is very very less than 5 GB, then why my net speed is so slow.

          After giving a connection nobody from your side is caring, whether the customer is satisfied from your service.

          Please solve my issue as soon as possible .

          One day the call came from the unknown number i.e. [protected] against so many complaints to Indianconsumercomplaint.in regarding slow speed in Tikona wi-bro. He was saying that we ll give you a compensation of the problem you suffer. We ll give a free internet service for month. But on the same day my internet connection is not working then I call again to the above unknown number, and the number is switch off and till date. Then I request the to tikona customer care as well as franchise owner from where I got the connection. When I call to the tikona customer representative, he/she ask your number, DOB, address proof, and email ID and document submitted. Then he/she replied your email ID and phone number is not matching. Then I ask about what’s the phone number is showing there. I shocked the phone number is same as which I told you above as well as email Id also not matching. Then I called to the franchisee owner ( Vishal- [protected]) from where I go the connection, he was saying that call to the customer care, but the customer refuses to disconnect the connection with authencity of your account. Then I called again to the franchise owner, he replied so rudely said “ joh karna hai karlo”. But anyhow i submitted my disconnection request to the tikona customer care representative. Still I didn’t get any acknowledgement from the tikona service representative to my email Id i.e [protected]@gmail.com <mailto:[protected]@gmail.com> . Too many times I harass from tikona wi-bro as well as franchise owner. Please do something regarding in this manner. I want justice as soon as possible.             I have taken this connection yesterday i.e on 8th May 2010. Im from Kolkata and my user id is [protected]. i have been promised by tikona sales officer that i will get 2mbps throught out the month and i have this plan called FMC799 unlimited. From the very next day my download speed reduced to 30-35 kbps from 250 kbps. This guy who sold me the connection name Siboprashad Manna ([protected]) and he is a complete fraud. He doesnt have the basic knowledge of the product and he cheated me. TIKONA DIGITAL IS A COMPLETE FRAUD. I have been using net for the last 12 years and have seen many conncetion but this tikona wi bro is the worst connection that i have ever seen and please consumer be aware of it. How could a company surviving with such lies.

              My name is Rajiv.A.P.Rao

              I had opted to your broadband connection (Rs 499/- 5GB free) on 24th April 2011 as got the setup and connection on 26th April 2011, connection only worked for 1and half day and stopped getting connected to the network. i called in for technical support however your technical team person (Prabhu) who attended my call was rude and was not able to help me and said he will be sending a technician to my place which didn't happen till 30th April 2011, meantime i was called your customer care to cancel my service wherein i was being transfered from department to department without any support or response (the phone call lasted for 1hr 20 min approx) later i was disconnected. I called back the customer service wherein i spoke to Abdul Raheem who gave me the Tikona Bangalore address which is located at #191, Amarjoythi Layout, Domlur and to meet Vikram who was supposed to be the Nodal head for Bangalore region. I came all the way from Malleswaram to Domlur which is approximately 15 Kms to meet the manager on 30th April 2011 at around 5.35 PM. The person who attended me (Vikram) said he will check all the details and asked for couple of minutes, later he moved out of his cabin and didn't turn up for 20 min when i asked the other people who were sitting in the cabin to check the status however they were not even BOTHERED TO TALK to me and one person LITERALLY SHOUTED AT ME. I being a customer who had paid for the service was to that i had come there only to talk to Vikram and other didn't wanted to help and was ABUSED IN FRONT OF THE OTHER STAFF of your company. later Vikram came in telling that he had went out just to talk to some one and it was only five minutes however it was more than 20 min he had taken (I ALSO GOT A WRONG INFORMATION FROM THE PERSON WHO WAS SITTING IN THE CABIN THAT VIKRAM WAS ON A CALL AND WILL COME IN 2 MIN WHICH WAS A LIE). A QUESTION TO YOUR COMPANY IS HOW CAN U ASK A PERSON TO SIT IN YOUR OFFICE AND THEN GOT OUT OF THE CABIN WITH INFORMING THAT YOU WILL BE OUT FOR 20 MIN AND LET THE OTHER STAFF TO BE SILENT WITHOUT ANY SUPPORT. coming back - VIKRAM said he was not able to check my information properly which was the same answer i received when spoke from customer support however he promised me that he will check with the issue, cancel and get back to me on 2ND May through mail at around 4 o clock EVEN THIS NEVER HAPPENED. so i called in the customer service again to check the status and I MYSELF had to go through the complete call once again and finally had to cancel my service later the customer service representative gave me the cancellation # which is 1-[protected] and said i need to send an email to them with the same # to customer support when asked how can i send an email if i dont have an internet connection there was no response I FEEL THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST PROCEDURE YOU GUYS ARE FOLLOWING.               Yes, i agree with you...TIKONA is a worst internet service provider i have ever seen. I have applied for broadband on 27th of May-2011. Till date no information nothing, when i call them, they finally says amount has not been reflected in their database though amount has been diducted from my account on 28th of May. After speaking to Salesperson(Mr.Jeevan-[protected]), Area Salesmanager(Mr.Sam-[protected]), customer care executive[protected] and technical support executive[protected] i came to know that, this is a fraud company. Which are just like beggers, shameless and _______________________ there are no words in any language in this world which can well describe their stuppid customer service.
              Finally i want to DO NOT GO FOR TIKONA. At last when i called up Customer Care for disconnection of Tikona, they says it will take 1month min to refund my money to account. If any one needs further clarification and want to hear more about TIKONA can reach me at...the below number

                Last Few Dates services Broadband service was Deactivated without my wish when i contacted your customer care i was met with harrassing treatment by transfering my callls to seniors whichnever picked my calll and later on blocking my number but still i kept quite and today again when i checked...

                  I Nilay jyoti Talukdar of South Delhi (Malviya Nagar) got a Internet connection from Tikona Digital Network in the month of 13th january 2011, along with the connection they promised me to install a antivirus software at the time of installation. But It has been Three month Tikona Digita has not installed it till date. When I called them they assure me to install within a week and says that after installing the anti virus the computer may have some problem, but no body from Tikona turned up till date.
                  So, I request you to take some strict action against Tikona Digital as they have been frauding people.

                  I want to thank Tikona for my Refund cheque of full amount. On 3 Aug 2011 I have applied for Tikona ULNTD799 plan and paid installation charges to sales guy, but the installation guy told me that there is no feasibility at my place, so I raised disconnection request. I wasn’t expecting the refund to come to me on time, but to my surprise after 30 days I got my refund cheque. I wish my location was feasible, hope it would be in future as I have good review about their network speed.

                    In reference to my application dated 17/04/2011 bearing application no. : [protected], plz be informed that I was told by your sales representative, Mr. Vikash Yadav, Employee Id[protected] that by Monday or Tuesday of this week, installation will be done. Since there is a window from which the connection would have to be taken and since we would not be able to close the window if the connection was taken from there, your sales representative said that the technician who would come to do the installation will make a hole and pass the wire through that hole and not the window. He assured that if the technician denies to do the hole, you instantly give a call to me and I will get it done.



                    A technician did come on Monday but said that he has not brought the drilling machine along with him. On insisting, he said he will go back and bring the machine in half an hour and left all the wires hanging in our balcony without fixing it. As was expected, he did not turn up. Your very-efficient-officer, Mr. Vikash Yadav (who said he is being paid Rs. 40000/- a month) is also not answerable and his response towards it is very cold (Are you paying so much salary to him to only make big commitments to the customer and then not living upto his own words?). I wonder how come a person who was so aggressive at the time of taking application and cheque has now become so cold. Just only after picking up the application form, the response is like that, how would it be after a few months? It only accentuates the poor service quality which is not at all desirable.



                    Plz note that the behaviour of people like Mr.Vikash Yadav is having a telling effect on the image of the company. What is more deplorable is that that the representative had promised of providing best quality service at only a phone call when he had come to take the application and cheque.



                    The very necessity of delineating the matter so vividly stems from the fact that this is the time when good service is expected from a company so that we could take the company to a next level by referring leads to you. If the welcome move from your side is like this, I would not even refer a single person as it would mean harassment to that person even.



                    Today is Thursday and till now the installation is only half done. The wires are still hanging the way it was left on Monday. Nobody from your side turned up after Monday.



                    Kind Attention Mr. Kamalendu Paul : I would like you to take strict actions against the Sales Representative, Mr. Vikash Yadav , as he had been very rude to me, he even banged the phone while talking to me. This is not the way one should behave to the customers. Plz arrange to get the installations fixed at my place. But before that plz ensure that Mr.Vikash Yadav is properly made understood the way he should behave with the customers.

                    The sales representative of the said company had made very big commitments while collecting the payment cheque for getting the internet connection. But the moment he had the cheque in his hands, he totally stepped back from his words. The installation that was supposed to be done within a day or two, took 8 days and that too I had to make atleast 25 calls to their customer service deptt. The sales representative was least bothered in receiving the call even. He even misbehave when he once received the call and banged the phone hard.
                    I am also Agree with your point. They will call 10 times before payment. after that no response from their side. I Paid Reg Fee two days Before. Their Rep told me that they will give the conn in one day. Till now it didn't happens.

                    Worst Service I never Had.
                    FROM CENTRAL DELHI- very pathetic sales man...false claiming and greed to make more connection...my sales man asked me about connections, references because he was going to win a bike after 30 connections...and service man stolen my wifi routers and now not responding to call.                       Harassment from your staff

                      Terrible Network.
                      This is to inform you that your staff has harassed me since last four months. Please take appropriate action and inform me at the earliest.

                      December 2010- internet hardly worked and our usage dropped substantially. Even after repeated reminders there was no improvement. We have changed the tower so the network is a problem.

                      Jan 2011 - customer service talking very badly to us. No solution offered. We tell them we don't want ur internet and we are not interested anymore. The complaint gets closed even without any solution.

                      Feb 2011 - no communication for any repairs from company side.


                      The internet connection hasnt worked with repeated compalints but there is continuous harassment and bad behavious for bill payments. We have said we won't pay since we have not used the internet as we had already informed we no longer want your internet. But the torture has continued. Torture is done a few times every day. We have stopped using Tikona and started using another connection.

                      If the harassment doesnt stop, will have to file a consumer complaint.

                      I am not satisfied with your services. Do not get porper response from customer care. they disconnect my calls. they donot transfer the calls to senior persons. seniour personrs were not avaible at floor. no response to waiver. IN ALL YOU SERVICES ARE DAMN HOPLESSS. I WILL ASK ALL MY FRIENDS TO DISCONNECT FORM YOUR SERVICE. TREAT THIS COMPLAINT AS MY DISCONNECT REQUEST.

                        I am Krishna and I have been using this stupid connection from some month. My ID is [protected] and I was using CB499 Plan. You can check my plan at this link http://www.tikona.in/city_plan.php?cityid=27&amp;mid=13. As per plan I can use 5GB free and for the rest I have to pay 0.10 paisa per MB in 2 mbps speed. But after 5 GB tikona applied circuit breaker to my plan. When I contacted them they used to say me different types of clarification. I also mailed to Tikona's main Mr. Nagesh and got no reply from him. Also I contacted to my nearest dealer and he used to say that he also tried to sort out my problem but finally he also failed and gave me West Bengal Nodal officer Mr. Kamalendu Polley. I called him directly and told him about my problem. He assured me that he will close my problem in 24 hrs. But after calling him continuously for 5 days I told him that I am not going to pay you anything.

                        But now the same stupid are calling me for money and asking to pay the amount which I used in 2 mbps speed. Can anyone take action against this stupid company?????????????

                          I have taken tikona Braodband , taken 1399 1MBPS Unlimited Downloading plan, after 10 days or more
                          it started giving far less than 1mbps about 200-300 kbps. On asking them they told us that you cant download more than 12GB in a month . Then why they had said its unlimited plan and their customer care service is very pathetic . I dont understand they are here for making customers or losing them.
                          seriously it is the worst broadband service experience i have ever had in my life..your customer service is totally poor.i called customer care 100 of times. but they stay always busy.whats going on.. I was trying to reach service agents/provider, they all stopped responding to my calls.your broadband service is not properly working its the worst customer service its taking a long time to get connected. i have taken tikona broadband 499 plan. they sending me bill that i had used 14GB. but seriously i had never download anything. pls sourtout this problem as soon as possible..

                            Dear Sir,

                            I had subscribed for a Tikona connection at my residence (Plot no 5 B Chand Nagar Near Tilak Nagar New Delhi-110018) on 25Feb 2011,even before installation there was no good network at my place but the sales guy (Mr.Avinash his no [protected] ) blufed me saying that there is network at my place and the connection will be installed in a day or two and took a cheque of Rs.1267 drawn on indian oversis bank cheque no,but when the engineer came to install he found no network at my place and no connection was installed.

                            Thereafter i requested for my refund and i was being told that i will get the same with in 45 days but now its almost 3 month and i have not yet received any refund nor has any one contacted me from tikona.

                            I am calling the customer care every week and what i am getting is just an assurance.

                            so please sir its my nrequest to tikona refund my full amount RS.1267

                                Subject :- This is regarding a wrong information provided by your sales representative and the people who came for Demonstration

                                I Harshad Shrikant Shinde a Customer having a connection of tikona user number [protected] has taken the connection at the point of demonstration i upfrontly asked about the term UNLIMITED i asked them the reason i am taking your service because i was having MTS connection but then at 999 unlimited plan there was a condition that after 12GB you will get the speed of 156kbps. And now when the executives or Engineers who came to show the demonstration they were there in my home for 45 to 50 minutes and asked them at least 45 to 50 times that will the speed remain constant for whole month or is there any condition like the MTS people that after 12GB the speed will decrease he said no there is not any kind of condition like that. After this the the executive Mr Prahlad Prajapati the sales person who came to my house to fill the form and take the documents and check he not even gave me the chance to read the customer agreement form and he went even the form was not filled by me he filled all the information and i just sign he was getting call from his boss continuously and he was in so hurry then today my speed has been decreased to 100 kbps whe my father Mr Shrikant Shinde called up customer care executive there was a guy on call named as rohit(not confirmed) but the second last call which i have made who gave the information that after 7GB my speed will low when my father asked him Questions he answered it with arrogance he didnt have the manners that how to speak with old man just imagine if you have given your father vodafone connecction and if your father calls the customer service of vodafone what kind of service do you expect and if the vodafone executive does like your agent what will you do to that guy. Then I called up the customer service care of tikona he gave me the same information that from 15 to 16 that 7GB has been used know i have a Question over here that @ of 750kbps is not at all possible first of all i did not download that much as my bill cycle date is of 15th now this is a new month for me how is it possible that in just one day i finished my 7GB. I want an quick resolution on it and i want an clarification on this plus that guy who has speak with my father like that i want a written mail for apology for my father on my Email ID. Please do not take this lightly as i have already tagged this on Indian Consumer Complaints Forum ( check the attachment).
                                And i want an revert on this ASAP if not tikona will be responsible to encourage me to take legal action on Tikona. Expecting positive attitude and result from you

                                  I have initiated the legal process against tikona and i m sending all this mail history to media press authorities i m posting this on every online complaint classified portals,i m circulating and posting physical papers which contains this matters.

                                  Impact on Tikona:-

                                  1. 50% business effect on tiokna new customers who are planning to take tikona but dropped after seeing my case.

                                    I am staying in Bangalore. I have taken Tikona connection for last 4 days. First day the speed was ok but the subsequent days the speed was 1/3 of my plan i.e i am getting less than 200kbps download speed though my speed is 600 kbps. When I called the customer care they only register my complain but no steps are taken.On asking frequently they started saying that after some usage the speed become slow an this is Govt of India Rule.I request proper authority to take steps against this company for doing fraud and ditching people with false information and assurance..I am attaching the speed test result along with this complain.

                                      HI, I had sen the ad of tikona and decided to get installed after seeing the ad that 799/- unlimited broadband, and i called the tikona executives for the Demo.

                                      The guys came down the same day and they showed me the demo, The Speed was good actually and they showed me that i have feasibility up to 2mbps in my area at JP nagar. later i told them that i will decide and inform them abt installation but those executive pleaded me the most and i Told them i want strictly unlimited and the executive confirmed it that its unlimited, and even the WORST PART is the leaflets by the company also says unlimited but no where mentioned in the pamphlet that it has FAIR USAGE POLICY.
                                      I happed to give them (Rs. 1433/-) on 3 rd march 2011
                                      which consists of advance payment of monthly rental of 799 plan and Rs 500 installation> i took the receipt of the same.
                                      Installation happened on 4 th march,2011 and speed was near to 750kbps. After 2 days sped dropped to 215 (around) and when inquired to their Customer Care , they told that i have crossed my free usage limit and hence the speed is dropped and that was the biggest shock, I came to know that tikona duped me
                                      later on 8 th march, 2011 I cancelled the connection and on 10 march ,2011, their executive collected the installed accessories at my place.I got the reciept of the same.

                                      To my shock I got bill from tikona on 16th march,2011 as Rs.818.
                                      After my repeated talks with tikona, their Customer Care just takes complaints but never returned my money as they had mentioned that if i happen to cancel then i will be paid back on prorata basis.
                                      But they never paid back till day.
                                      pls take care of the same asap as tikona is duping ppl

                                      there is very less downloading speed, & uploading speed about 0.5 kbs
                                      there is very slow surfing speed
                                      I have raised a disconnection request (#1-[protected]) for the connection provided by you on 24th April, 2015 due to your unreliable connection and pathetic service. I have completely disconnected the modem today (26th April, 2015) and already opted for another service provider. Your customer care representative confirmed that the process will take 15 days to complete and bill will not be generated for 15 days if we do not use the service. Hope you keep up your words and disconnect the service after 15 days.

                                        I have a complain regarding Tikona WI –BRO Services, having its registered office “Corpora Office No 3A, 3rd Floor, LBS Marg, Bhandup (West), Mumbai-400 078.
                                        I have Taken Tikona Broad Band Service in Nagpur whose owner is Mr Motwani. Sir my service id is [protected] and plan name is XQUNLTD2549, I Would like to congratulate them for the lies they say to collect connection and give wrong commitment to client and then once cheque is collected they don’t pick their call. I am chartered accountant and having office in Byramji town area Nagpur, Mr. Tanzeel their representative collected cheque of Rs. 3253 drawn on axis bank on 9/3/32011 with a cheque 196543 the deal was that he would put a line to enable me to connect 8 Computers/Laptops through router which he will provide on a monthly rent of Rs. 75. But even after commitment he never turned back to me nor picked my call and after a great peruse toTheir local office in nagpur my connection was done but it is told to me that I will never be able to connect to 8 pc even through my router on WI FI nor through their router and that only one connection(only to one computer/laptop) is possible. I have already spoke to Mr Motwani owner of Tikona Broad Band Services Nagpur but no response even from him I request you to please take my matter and help me to get my money refunded.
