I had requested a closure of account no. [protected] vide request no. 1-[protected] Dt.[protected]. I have not been using any service for the last six months and had made the final payment of Rs.17/= on[protected]. I called up again on[protected] to confirm the closure and was communicated by customer care engineer that I am eligible for a refund of Rs.500/=.

But Tikona still generated a fresh bill of Rs.114/= on[protected]...

Higher rates charged for old customers

Tikona is charging higher rates for usage beyond the plan charges.Under my plan CB 299 the charges for

usage beyond 1000 MB is only 30p per MB as per the tariffs mentioned on their website,But since the past

few months I am being charged Re 1 for each MB used beyond 1GB.When this was pointed out they tell

that the new rate of 30 p is applicable only to new customers.

Disconnection of Service in spite making full advance payment

We have taken Tikona`s company Broadband connection in July 2010. The. Scheme was of Rs 299 Monthly plan, but if your usage exceeds the maximum bill will be of Rs 599 only. Connection Speed

My acc number is [protected]. Have used various internet connections and Tikona is the worst. Not at all value for money. They have a concept called contention ratio, which actually the use to fool the customers, you can never get the speed that you have paid for. Try Airtel or MTNL but seriously Tikona is not worth the effort or money.

for a 512kpbs connection you would only get an avg of 180 kbps speed....

Improper service & asking for the full payment

There was continous network connectivity breakdown for 2-3 months.

They where totally Handicapped for resolving the issue, i have details of regular follow up & call log details.

For the usage of 3gb they are asking for Aprox Rs.1133, whereas Telecom service provider gives 2gb free internet for only 98 Rs monthly.

So there is no sense for paying this much Amount, even though i get a call for...

Dear all,

If you are tired with tikona service and want to disconnect it for good. I would suggest you to give your request for disconnection in writing as these people have unscrupulous habit of not raising bill against your account for the next billing cycle to deceive you in believing that your connection has been disconnected. No getting promised connection speed
