I purchased Tikona Broadband services on 14th of September 2010 and got it installed on 16th. It was the only week that I could get to use the internet. Then after I could not browse the net till now. Called up hotline at 11 pm: they din't get me any assistance. Even I called the executive mobile number. They are also not given me any solution and now they switched off the phone or not picking up the call when they saw my number. Please resolve my problem. I am highly irritated now. plan change process is so critical and bad,
very poor responsibile for service.
dont choose Tikona broadband, because plan change process is very mind upsetting and painful.

    I purchased Tikona services on 19th of September 2010 and got it installed on 21st. It was the only day I could get to use the internet. The worst night mare started after the couple of hours of first usage. I could not browse the net for next whole day. Called up hotline at 11 pm: reply-some technical snag is being fixed at the tower.. i was surprised to hear this.. at night 11 pm how can the technical guys fix the problem on tower. Later I came to know this was all fake. and also came to know from my neighbours that this is the Repeated story they tell everytime a subscriber calls them for connection down.

    24 hrs passed still the same story. And after 5 calls, i got frustrated and asked them to disconnect the connection right now.

    Since the disconnection was accepted over phone. Till today, I havent got any response from the tikona team in written that my disconnection was accepted. It has fallen on the deaf ears despite my several requests.

    I had paid Rs. 2,000 odd to them and they are in no mood to return my money.

    Please advice what should I do.

    hi this is vr babu, ur suggision very very curect, warest staff and office exicutives, warest call centre's, warest language- call girls in use, so i agree this situation, so tikona staff and call girls change u r charector.less speed and aditional billing arrages.there are no usages and bill are issurd, that company only for customer amount very importance.

    The same thing happend to me also. I took connection on 29th september, hardly i used 30th september and from first onwards they disconnected, when I called care they told me due to owners problem the Nano device needs to be shifted to another residence, for this they gave me 15 days timeslot, I called them for atleast 10 time after 15 days, I would get the same answer "WE WILL SEND THE TECHNICIAN TO YOUR END RIGHT NOW AND THERE IS PROBLEM WITH VPN...BLAH..BLAH..BLAH..."

    I had spoked to lot of customer care supervisors(M SREEDHAR) this [censored]ing GAY always try to bluf the customer saying it will takes 15 days more...

    I got frustuated with these TIKONA CUSTOMER GAYS...I lost Rs.500 DD amount and moreover am getting calls and sms saying to pay Rs.404

    Please let me know how to take action on these case...

    Hi!

    The worst service in the world is of Tikona broadband, I have got this installed on 1st November, may be before & they took 500 rs as installation charges, and was promissed that will get username and password in 24 Hour, but till date (12/11/2010) i havent recevied any username or Password.

    I have called 15 times to their call center every times i am promised that i will get the same in 1 hour, But no one calls or there is no One to give username and password. . . . every time i call the call centre and i get repeatedly same answare, that i should get the password in 1 hour. . . . .

    PLEASE DONT BUY TIKONA BROADBAND, THIS IS WAST OF MONEY. . . . .

      i was paid my tikona wi-bro internet bill with cash payment to tikona payment collection department man at my place.he was not give us payment receipt. we asked him to receipt he told us i don't carried i send you with courier then we take his cell phone number&we also called his department head they said no issue.then we was let him to go. there was two or three times for calling me in month about the payment.i was told them to i was already paid my bill to your man.i was sent my payment details to them.they are didn't take any action and they sent to me a legal notice.
      it happend to me 4 months back i disconnected their services.Now also they are sending monthly bills.please solve this issue.

        I took a new wi-bro internet connection from tikona on 26th june of 2010 at varachha area in surat location. and I paid Rs. 500 Advance From My HDFC bank Cheque. But, Tikona failed to give proper service to me. Tikona's instrument is failed to caught signals. So, I gave immediately Disconnection request to Tikona's customer care. and costomer care executive told me that My Deposite amount of Rs.500 will be back after 30 days. But, Till now today is 2 nd october and already 100 days are passed. But, I dont get it back. at many times i called to tikona's engineer and customer care and every time they gave me new reference number. So, Now I want to teach lesson to tikona. So, anyone can help me what should i do? I want to go legal complain of Tikona.

          For some reason my check payment of the bill for the month of july 2010 was not cleared, So i drafted another check for the month of July and August 2010 combined (amout-1812 rs). A person from the billing department came to my house to collect the check on 6th September 2010 and I handed over the check to him. On 21st of september midnight when I tried to access my Internet I got a message that my services is being disabled. On 22nd morning I contacted the customer care and the lady i spoke to told me that the due amount of 1812 rs has reflected in my account on 21st September and my services should not have been suspended. My first complaint is that it took 15 days to refelct my payment on my account. Since 22nd of september till 1st of October (10 days) i have been speaking to the customer care daily. Sometimes even twice or thrice a day. The only response I got from them is that they have escalated the issue and it will take either 2hrs or 24hrs to solve my problem. My password was reset 4 times during this duration. Till date the issue persists and still I am not able to access my Internet. As a consumer I am seeking justice, hope some necessary action will be taken.

            Due to some reasons my Internet Account, got blocked. Since then i.e. more than 2 months I am after these guys to fix the problem but no one seems to be bothered. I have paid the Account charges/fees in advanced for 5 Months. Now they are not responding my phone calls also. Its a very pathetic situation.

                As i have complain so many times to tikona but my account is not active. so i have the decided to complain about cheap service given by tikona. My last complain id is 1-[protected]
                so please look to the matter. On sunday i m requesting to disconnect it any how. I m fed up of service. I have waited for 8 days[protected] to[protected] . I also want my 150 RS. as committed by sales executive after disconnection fro tikona and adjustment of 100 Rs to my bill by same person .

                  MY NAME IS CHRIS GEORGE AND THE NATURE OF COMPLAIN IS THE MAJOR SLOW SPEED
                  OF THE INTERNET BROADBAND CONNECTION FROM TIKONA DIGITAL NETWORKS
                  I HAVE THAKEN THE CONNECTION ON THE 28TH OF AUGUST 2010 AND IT WAS PROMISSED TO ME THAT THE SURFING SPEED WOULD BE 750 KBPS AND THE DOWNLOAD SPEED WOULD BE 93.75 KBPS AND THE RENT WOULD BE RS.799.00....
                  BUT THE SPEED THAT I AM GETTING IS AN AVERAGE OF 500 KBPS AND THE DOWNLOAD SPEED IS 65-70 KBPS.....
                  I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPLAINED AROUND 9 TIMES BUT NOTHING HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF ....
                  AS MY USAGE IS MORE SO I CONVERTED THE PLAN AT 2MBPS AND THE SURFING SPEED THAT WAS PROMISED TO ME WAS 2MBPS AND DOWNLOAD SPEED WAS 256 KBPS @ INR2499 BUT THE SPEED THAT I AM GETTING IS ONLY 1.2 MBPS AND THE DOWNLOAD SPEED IS 150-160 KBPS AS AN AVERAGE SPEED.SO WHY TO PAY FOR THAT WAS PROMISSED TO ME BUT IS STILL NOT WORTH OF PAYING.I HAD RELIANCE BROADBAND AND THE SPEED THAT WAS PROMISSED TO ME WAS WORTH TO PAY FOR AND TRUST ME I HAVE NEVER EVER FACED ANY PROBLEM WITH RELIANCE BROADBAND.BUT THIS TIKONA BROAD BAND IS WORST AND I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE ABOUT OF TIKONA WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH THE TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT AND AS WELL AS WITH THE SERVICE...                   You are very much better. I got a plan wherein am supposed to get 2MBPS speed upto 4GB and 256 KBPS after that... Whereas in actual only 40-50% time am getting full speed and remaining time instead of 2MBPS am getting 100-300KBPS and for 256KBPS am getting 30-40 KBPS speed. Even my GRPS runs faster tha Tikona...Never every go for it...Worst service provider...There service people come when the speed is running proper...Infact once when the engineer came i was getting 100KBPS speed...He said he will forward my complaint to the senior. He simply went away and closed the complaint

                      hello sir, i m using tikona broadband internet connection. at beginning i was said that u would get 512kbps speed but mostly i get only about 350kbps and rarely i get about 450kbps speed. i m fully dissatisfied with tikona . if my problem will not be solved then i m thinking to discontinue with tikona. i hope u will do something in favour of me. thank you.

                      We would also like to inform that our contention ratio for fixed monthly charge plans is 1:10 and unlimited plans is 1:20. Slow speed is often attributable to several factors such as customer’s PC health, whether AV is installed or not, whether auto-updates are ON while using internet, etc.

                        I am one of the customer of tikona boradband. The speed which was promised by crooks of tikone is never there. I have a plan of 599 monthly. i done get the spped promised. Most of the times the connectivity is not there. TIKONA IS A CHEATER COMPANY.

                        Broadband services — No Connectivity

                        We have a Broadband connection of Tata Communications having userid : [protected]@vsnl.net

                        We are facing no-connectivity issues since last thursday, and inspite of having sent more than 10 mails and called the customers care centres 12 times and having expressed our loss and harassment being faced these people from Tata seem to be the most ignorant and shameless people especially thier so called nodal officer who has not even cared to personally call and inquire of the seriousness of the problem.'
                        Have mailed the complaint to TRAI also but have not yet recd a feedback from thier side.

                        This is deliberate cheating and fleecing consumers by Tata's and i suspect this one of thier stupid ways to save on broadband and pass it on to others.

                        Also they say that if the connectivity is on even for two mins it shall be considered on and to be considered for compensation connectivity should not be for less than 72 hrs. This is totally baseless and one sided. The technical part is theres and its very eay for them to disconnect and reconnect just before expiry of 72 hrs and then at will they can disconnect.

                        Wish to know if these terms are as per TRAI regulations and what action can be taken against such a company which is out to cheat us.

                        Tikona Broadband — slow speed

                        IAM FACING PROBLEM WITH TIKONA..MY NET SPEED IS VERY LOW.I HAD TAKEN 2MBPS PLAN..I AM NOT GETTING EVEN 1MBPS..I HAD CHECKED THE SPEED IN TIKONA WIBRO ITSELF.I HAD CALLED TO CUSTOMER CARE MANY TIMES...THEY SAID THAT..THEY WILL CALL ME BACK..BUT NO CALL FROM THEM..

                            TIKONA HAS LOOTED US WITH 6 CONNECTIONS & WITOUT INSTALATION ARE SENDING BILLS. WE ARE FOLLWOING UP FOR REFUND OF RS.3000 SINCE MAR-2010. CO & CO EXECUTIVES ARE USELESS.
                            AT MY PLACE THEY LOOTED FOR 6 INSTALLATIONS ie. RS.3000 & WITHOUT INSTLN I AM GETTING THE BILLS. OF THE VARIOUS LOCATIONS THEY DONT EVEN HAVE NETWORK COVERAGE ALSO. SINCE MAR-10 ie NEARLY 7-8 MONTHS THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO PROCESS MY REFUND.
                            I requested for the tikona service 1 month ago. the tikona sales person came
                            and took Rs500 as the application charge.he didnt gave me any receipt.then
                            after 2 weeks I called the customer care and logged the complaint.That day a technician came but due to some reason was not able to do the connection then I asked for refund he told that I will be getting the refund in a week or so.
                            I am still waiting for that and however if I call him or the previous sales person they never pick the phone. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH A POOR SERVICE IN MY LIFE.
                            i filled the form to get a new connection on feb 15th 2011 i was told i will get a connection within 72 hours when even after 6 days i did not connection i asked them to return my money. they said it will be done in 1 month today i get a msg to pay the bill. wht am i supposed to pay the bill for. they really have a bad service

                              Though I sent a mail to nodal officer of TIKONA on 16 September 210, I am still waiting for a response. The situation of Broad band has worsened as the same is not working for last three days (I think this is a natural phenomena with TIKONA?. As my system is down for at least 2-3 days in a month (10 %) . I feel I am entitled for downtime refund of money also.

                              Though requested no engineer has visited me for last three days. My complaint number is 1-[protected].

                              Further, the call center employee needs to be educated and trained so they need not abruptly disconnects the calls , which I expereienced yesterday.


                              Though promised a speed of 2 Mbps for first 200MB download, I was never offered a speed of 2 mbps for the first 200 Mb download. The speed was shown as 512 kbps.

                              Further though claimed that I will be getting 512 kbps, the speed never exceeded 300 Kbps. From yesterday the speed is so slow that the speed test also did not take off (Start).

                              Really it very sorry state of affairs with TIKONA is treating its customer.

                              Please let me know if they really resolve your problem because I too am facing a lot of connectivity issues and it is very annoying. Everytime I call their customer care, they "promise" me that the problem will not repeat and within 12 hrs the same problem pop-up. I am really fed up with the internet conenction. I even tried reaching their higher officials. They did listen to my complaint. But when i tried to follow up with them, they did not answer my call (I dont kno why).

                                14-May 2010, I got the tikona pamplaet infront of my door, stating that you building socitey is in the range of Tikona Broadband and one Phone number for a executive Shahu Galphade - [protected].

                                I called that person and asked for internate connection. He explined me all the available plans from one template. then I CB 299 Plan. He told me if I will pay for 4 - months I will get the installation free. He also told me if I will pay cash he will give me connection in 2-3 days. I was in Urgent need of Internate Connection that time si i paid the money and filled the application form and gave one PP sixze phote th Mr. shahu.

                                After theat i chased him for 1 and half month - initially 15 days he told me in a day or 2 you will get connection then he started saying feasibility is not there I will claim for refund you will get the refund soon. Then I chased thst Guys for a month, but could not receive my money back.

                                Lateron One of my friend call him for Connection, he told he is not working with tikona any more.

                                Could you please let me know how to go about it. Is there any higher escalation matrix available with tikona or I should go to consumer forum.

                                Your help will be greatly appreaciatedd.

                                Congratulations ! I have decided to pay up the Tikona bill of Rs. 274 inspite of not using your service for a single hour. In fact I will be paying Rs. 500+ Rs. 274= Rs. 774. The 500 rupees was the security deposit. I have attached the full and final settlement receipt for your reference.

                                Congratulations to Tikona billing department for being persistent in sending bills on regular basis and charging interest at the rate of 120%. Indeed many many congratulations to the CFO of Tikona. It is an excellent business model- in modern electronic extortion. I hope you will give some management lessons in Harvard and other institues and explain the new MBAs how to run these types of businesses and make returns of 120%. Congratulations again.

                                Congratulations to the customer service team for actually managing to shield up to 50 calls from me to reach the concerned person who can take action. Customer service team you are doing a wonderful job at not providing any customer service. I think you should ask your management for a raise. It has been truely frustrating experience to the customer which means that you have done a fine job

                                Congratulations to the management team for hiring individuals in billing department and in customer service. They have done a tremendous job at not allowing any information to reach the management. The best part is that the management believe that everything is going well when it comes to customer satisfaction.

                                May you all succeed in extorting more money from the customers. Also is Tikona going to come out with an IPO? I think I will try to see if I can buy some of your shares. I am really impressed with your business model. The best part is that it is legal

                                Hi;

                                I raised a ticket (TIKONA - 1-[protected]) for Static IP with TIKONA and paid 1103 rupees on October 4, 2011. They said it will be done in 2-3 days time but till now nothing is done.

                                I have called on customer care number more than 10 times but everytime they say we will get back in 24 hours but no one calls back or take the responsibility.

                                I could not find escalation matrix. I am really unhappy about the customer service. I hope someone from TIKONA would read this and take it as feedback to improve their service.

                                I am awaiting for a quick response from TIKONA.

                                Writing this absolutely lamentable situation where i could feel that i am talking to a 'WALL' while interacting tikona customer care executive.


                                I have got this connection installed around ( may be more than ) a month back for a specific need. That requirement was already communicated clearly to the person came for first enquiry and then to the gentleman also came installation.



                                That connection did not work for several days and after chasing almost 15-20 times to Tikona call center, it got acknowledged ( but not resolved ) around 3 weeks after. Many man hour of mine was spoiled in the name of testing and two complete weekend were taken ( sitting at my home ) by Tikona engineer for rigrous testing.

                                Many engineers from L2 and L3 scheduled testing but none of them did call on time and they dont pick the phone when called them back.

                                Its been more than a month when my connection was installed and i haven't used it even once successfully. Every Time i call and customer care executive promises a call back but never happens.


                                This is serious question on the service orientation of your call center.


                                Please see if you can do something to get it rectified and let me know the escalation matrix to be followed ( hope i would not need it after your help here ), else i am compelled to take legal action in consumer forum.

                                  I was sold a braodband connection by the sales staff making false claims. I paid an installation amount of Rs. 500/- to them but the installation engineer denied those features promised by the sales staff. It has been 15 days but I have no clear response on the refund request placed by me.

                                  tikona wireless broadband — non refund of money

                                  Tikona wirelerss broadband had taken 2400 rs. towards installation of broadband connetion. till date no installation has happened. there is no response from call center. there is a concious effort to harras under the hope that the customer will give up the chase for his money.

                                  all in all a totally unprefessional and unresponvise setup.

                                    Hi,

                                    This is Anil.

                                    After seeing ad., I requested M/s. Tikona Digital Networks for Internet Connection.

                                    In ad. they Mentioned internet speed is 300 kb/s.

                                    Cross checked with Marketing Team also they said the same.

                                    I Paid Rs. 500/ for the installation charges.

                                    Then the installation executive came and given a demo. In demo i found that speed is just 30 KB what i am getting and

                                    I questioned the the person (who came for installation), then he said that sir this is only speed you get. In ad. we have given 300 kb/s..

                                    Then i realized the mistake what i did.

                                    I told him we dont want this connection please take it back and refund my money.

                                    I haven't got my money but i am getting the BILL for payment.

                                    One on their mail i replied very strongly, after that they stopped sending the Mails on Billing.

                                      This is Bharat phulwani ..I subcribed for this tikino wifi connection on 28 august 2010 --application number -[protected] and still i have not received the service as well as no installation done yet ...Tikona customer care sucks ...they will just take complaint and give ticket number.
                                      Tikonal sales executive told me that after filling the appliaction form with 24 to 48 hrs installation will be done and that was wrong information ..tikona sales excutive are like frauds and provide wrong information ...I called customer care multiple times and they are useless and they will give all kinds of churan to you .
                                      Its been now many days and no installation done ..i will not recommended anyone togo for tikona wifi.
                                      I am now looking to get my documents and 50 res cheque back and if tikona don't provide this to me i will take some legal actions and move to consumer court .

                                      My Name is Kamlesh Devrukhkar. I subcribed for tikona connection on 22 May 2011 - SRF Number [protected]. I am very angry with Tikona sales person and with tikona service. I was said by Mr. Satyendra ([protected]) Sales person from tikona, that if you pay in cash you will received tikona connection in 3 days and if you pay by cheque you will get tikona connection in 7 days.

                                      So I had paid cash as it was very urgent for me. Satyendra promissed to give connection in 3 days and said if you not received in 3 days he will give his own modem to me for use upto i receive connection. I belived him and canceled my old internet connection. After 3 days i contact Satyendra and said i have not received the connection, so he said sir wait for 2 more days as their was some problem. I wait for 2 more days and called him again after 2 days, he said i don't know what happening you contact to my senior Mr. Niraj ([protected]). Niraj is fake person, said me you will received connection in 1 days i.e. on Friday 27th May 2011. Connection was not done i was too frastated and angry so I called Satyendra & Niraj around 50 times for followup. They were disconnecting My calls every time. So i called Satyendra from my other number he picked the phone on friday there was also a technician along with satyendra. Satyendra said to Technician that customer ne paresaan karke rakha hai so Technician said ki chalo customer ko paresaan karte hai aur connection aur 4 din late karte hai. I heard all this conversation on my phone. I said Satyendra to give phone to technician but he ignored and disconnected the line. I am really angry with tikona customer care too. In future i am not going to give reference to my friends or to my relative about the tikona.

                                      I want my money back or i will forward this same mail to consumer court.

                                        I took a connection from Tikona which they claimed to give 3gbps bandwidth. They took Rs. 500 as installation charge but their so called service did not give me anything more than 128kbps. Also, I will have to uninstall any other wify like photon plus or Reliance broadband if I am to use this wierd stuff. I dint want to go ahead with this and wanted the cheque back. But by then they had given it out to some of their guys who submitted it to office (I accept its my mistake I gave the cheque trusting them). They left their router here saying they will return the next day to fix it. Since then those people are absconding :). I tried calling their customer care many a times but each time a new guy picks up saying we are working on cancelling your connection sir..your cheque is with our finance team and they will return it back to you in 15 days. I am fed up hearing this song for the last 4 months and do not want to go after it anymore. I just want to let all people in Chennai know that this is a fraud company and do not get cheated like me.
