This is exactly what I have been facing too...

TIKONA is a CHEAT !!!

There is no point writing to the Nodal officer / appellate authority as they will also send similar mails and there is no response..

    Hello,

    I am BE Electronics and communication engineer.i applied for new tikona broadband connection.on 1st march,2011 sales executive came whose name was sameer.as per the policy of tikona broadband connection they first gives demo whether the feasibility(availability of network)is available at our home or office.sales executive came ,without checking network availability he told me that feasibily is in your home.he gave me plan option and i selected circuit breaker plan CB499.he took 1102 rupees check and gave me receipt.then he told that tommorrow installtion engineer will come and install tikona broadband.then next day person came to my home for the installation.i was very surprised with his word that first please show your terrace and then i will told you whether i will be able to install tikona broadband in your home.actually there is policy of tikona broadband that "First Demo & Then Pay and then installtion".then that installtion engineer went to terrace and took 30 minutes to tell that there no feasilbility in your home ,actually he didn't check network with his company equipment and was talking with cell number during this 30 minutes nothing else.actually i am DEGREE HOLDER OF THE SAME FILED ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING SO I KNOW VERY WELL THAT COMPANY HAS TO FOLLOW THE STEPS ,RULES AND REGULATIONS AND THEN HE CAN TALK TO CUSTOMER FOR PAYMENT AND INSTALLTION.then he went after spending 30 minutes with the words "there is no feasibility".now they miss behaved with me so whom i told my problem and i wrote to consumer compaints.i think company has no fund enough to spread his business and they cheat almost all customes who are very faithfull on them and collect the money so they can generate interest from this customers money.because there is rule after giving check payment to company they return the check to customer withing 90 days.very shamefull ,disgusting ,painfull moment of my life.actually i was fool that i contected to tikona.



    this proves that big companies will loss their status whatever that had achieved in systematic manner in other country because in india majority of persons who have got job in reputed companies like this and other companies have no manner,disgusting and gives pain to customers and other persons.they have no senses and follow the rules of bluddyness.very disgusting........one thing remember that i am also indian so i have idea of society but those indian who are educated are alos being taken lightly and being tried to make fool as i know what the procedure should be followed.as i have idea of the filed (BE EC).

    i warn the companies who missguide the customers who faith and co-operate with your company and what this companies give back to customers .

    Thanks bro. You saved me from falling into the trap of Tikona wi-bro whom I was planning to contact for the wifi connection at my home. After reading your story, I will never contact them.

      I have taken tikona service on somewhere around 10 Feb 2011. When I called for new connection, the person from the company reached within an hour for new setup. Everything went well and i got my user name and password after 3 days which is the normal process for them. For the new connection they charged me Rs 1100 (550 for advance payment of coming month and 500 for installation few).

      After 2 weeks that is on 26 Feb 11 am in the morning i got no connectivity on my system. I called to tikona customer care for reporting this issue and to be resolved within a day. Till 5 days gone, i called them 100 times but no one came to my home for solving the issue.

      Please help me out what to do now.
      I strongly recommend everyone please please do never take tikona service. Its worst than ever you have faced from other provider.

      i am your wifi bro user with plan hunltd 3899. i am staying below address and on my building only your tower is installed. when i came to know that tikona is avilable in my area i called for demo . after doing so i got approximate 10 calls from different agent. after that your 1 agent name PRAMOD came to my home and showed me a demo which was showing healthy speed.
      he didnt provided me any broacher but suggested me hunltd 3899 plan and committed that you will get consistent speed of 600 kbps. which sound convincing to me so then and there i gave him cheq for payment of 6 month. on 1st of Feb i started using tikona with user id [protected]. till first 10 - 15 days the speed was consistent i.e around 550kbps to 600 kbps. but after that it went down to 150 kbps to 250 kbps. so i called pramod for same he told me that there must be some problem so he asked me to call his senior MR VAIBHAV who works as customer service assurance executive. when i called him he sent 2 engineers to solve my problem also he personally came down to my home to check. even after that the problem was not solved on head of that vaibhav told me that i got some serious problem with my laptop only. also he told me that there must be problem in using wifi so he offered me to provide connection through swith which was installed on my building and he assured that this will solve my problem and i will get consistent speed. beliving him i agreed for that when i got connection from direct swith just for 1 day i got satisfactory speed and from the next day onward i was not able to get connected so i again called vaibhav so he said he is sending MR ANIL. who is engineer to my place.
      when anil saw my plan and all details he told me that my plan provides 600kbps speed n after that it reduces... it was too much shocking to me cause it was clearly told by pramod that this plans provide consistent speed. when i told anil that this was told to me he said that this sale people do not have that much knowledge. suprisingly i called back vaibhav, because he too was working on my problem from 2 weeks but he never told me that ma plan is not consistent speed. when i told vaibhav he too was suprised so i called pramod, he said to me that in your plan you get consistent speed and that technical persons dont have any knowledge.he also added that he his working from last one year and he have better knowledge than anil it was too irritating for me. anil pramod and vaibhav had a conference call on which they discoverd that my plan really do not provide consistent speed.
      i was told by vaibhav that pramod have commited wrongely so he will solve my problem. when i called pramod he said its his mistake that he commited wrongly that i will get consitent speed he also agreed to come down to my place and resolve the problem.
      from that day to till date pramod is not picking up the call and when i am calling vaibhav he is saying what speed i am getting is according to my plan and he cant do anything as the false commitment was given by pramod. also he suggested me to change my plan

      what i want to convey is changing the plan is not the resolution. after all what i have faced is false commitment and poor customer service respons. which is not at all according to tikona image. i find mr vaibhav least intrested in solving my problem and more intrested in blaming pramod which is not at all suitable for customer service assurance exe. its more than 15 days now and i am still getting speed of 150 kbps to 250 kbps... is this what i should expect from tikona...if i would have told clearly about plan before only i would have chosen different plan...so why was the false commitment given...and now is that my fault that my plan dosent provide me consistent speed even after i was told so...or it was my mistake to pay in advance for six months by trusting on tikona image...i sincerely look forward for positive and quick action from you as it is really disappointing being a tikona user.

          Horrible billing and Horrible Speed

          1) Bill Indicating wrong period.
          2) Bill Indicating Wrong Address.
          3) Bill Indicating Wrong Amount.

          I was taken Tikona on 11/02/2011, plan ANLTD6499 for One Year
          Installation done on 13/02/2011, after second day of installation
          I am in trouble because physical Download Speed indicating 20-25 kbps
          Till date this problem not solved.
          After it when I got mail for billing, I was shocked because it shows
          Current Bill Amount 7188.04 Instead of - 6571.00
          and they send me this bill again and again
          After I was informing him on phone and by mail also that I was already paid in Advance for Annual Subscription by Cheque and it was already cleared from bank A/c. if suppose its NOT Cleared by in next TWO Days i will going to Cosumer Court.and also mail to THE TELECOM REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF INDIA [protected]@tcil-india.com ,The Hon’ble Authority.Telecommunications Consultants India Limited [protected]@trai.gov.in, Hon’ble Authority.Mr. D.Madan Deputy SecretaryDepartment of Telecom (incl.             this is srinivas B. iam from bangalore. i took tikona broadband connection in last month(jan) 1st week. on next day it was disconnected even login page is not opening.
            then i given complaint 10 times but not responded any one(custome care & technical engineers).
            after that again i given complaint to disconnect the broadband connection and long with refund my deposited amount Rs 1433/-. then they were immediately disconnected and their technical engineer came to collect the modem and wire. afterthat again i given complaint to refund my deposit but they will say that still under process, i dont know what is that process..? really they are cheated me nonsense blaedy ..

              I had been using broadband connection with plan 299 post paid,where i
              had applied for wi-fi but due to unavailability of WI-FI router with service provider they commited to install it later but they never installed Wi-Fi at my premises. i used
              wireline.
              Now I came to know that every month they are adding MOALLHO 75 INR to my bill for wi-fi service which actually was never installed to my place .

              I need waiver and compensation for that period of about 7 months.

                I am Nagaraju Taken Broad Band connection with Tikona Digital Networks. My user id is [protected]
                I have opted plan for 3 months (Unlimited with 300kbps ).It is good for first five days then on wards My net speed became very slow that is 80 kbps.I made complaint 3 to 4 times But no one is responding well.My complaint number is (1-[protected])their customer care executives are very intelligent because they are using a smooth language to talk to customers but they are unable to provide the solution.
                they are simply saying please wait until your problem solved .
                How many days i will wait with out using my net even i paid money.Will they increase my usage days for these 10 days.
                I have all the proofs to submit when required..
                I dealt with Prafool, Abhishek and sharan.
                Please Atleast now solve my problem

                  i m the internet holder of tikona care from last 3 months, i m facing always problem of check issue
                  i m giving check mostla on 31 to 2 date of every month but billing department is not working properly and calling that you have not paid a bill and always my check is clearing on 13 to 15 of the months.
                  same way last dec end 31 i have paid a cheque no 337716 of 686 Rs but their billing department has not cleared till now and saying that it is not reflecting on there computer, my net is disconnected from last thursday i.e 3rd of feb 2011and the cheque is debited from my account on 15th of january and they are saying that it has not showing till now system
                  and they need my account status scanned copied to mail why they are not asking to bill department that this issue why should i face.

                  This months i got a bill of above 1300 when i discuss in tikona care they are not responding my call properly and saying to pay all 1300 Rs of bill amount then only i will get net connected again instead of one month.

                    I have taken tikona connectionon 26th Jan 2011,- the plan is unlimited called UNLTD649
                    THE SPEED SHOULD BE 600 KBPS
                    YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY 1267/- AND TAKE THE CONNECTION
                    monthly charges are said to be 649/-

                    from the day one till today the 9th of feb 2011, at least 10 service personal has come and changed every thing but he is to able to show me 600 kbps.                       Internet connection. My self dhrudip thakkar using Internet connection of Tikona Digital Networks for last four months and submit more than 25 complain within this period without any result. Its fraud company. You never get enough speed. This is new company in India updating process is going on so minimum twice in week u found server is down. after sales service is totally drama. Don’t use it……

                      I Huseini Bhavnagarwala residing at South Mumbai 400008.

                      I have been using the Tikona WI- BRO internet connection from last three months provided by Tikona Digital Network.

                      There was bill amount of 930 Rs due for the month of March and the due date was 12th April'10 but due to some of my personal reason i couldn't pay the bill on time but after that i have paid the bill by Net banking of ICICI Bank (Transaction ID [protected]).

                      For which Tikona had disconnect my internet service. After the payment done from my end still there no activation from Tikona to start my internet connection

                      I have been constantly calling the tikona customercare to tell them to start the internet service but there is no single response or feedback aftre shouting and yelling on them they have provided me the complaint no.[protected].

                      Till now there is no response or action from Tikona Digital Network.

                      I am feedup of calling an shouting on them.

                      I would request the Consumer Forum to please take strict action on them.

                      I have subscribed for Internet connection from Tikona in April 2012. Its a 3 year plan. Now every now and then their Internet connection is down. They have a very good provision for registering a complaint by providing a Toll free number but only for taking complaints and NOT for SOLVING IT. Everytime you launch a complaint they will assure you that within 24 hrs or 48 hrs your problem will be resolved. But no guarantee that anyone will turn upto you in 3-4 days. In last 7-8 months of my tenure with Tikona I have launched 12 complaints and everytime it takes 3-4 days to resolve it. They accept that problem is from their end but never replace that device. Everytime I go to work on Internet, I pray that my connection is in place. In most urgent situations it will never help.

                      I want my money back and want to switch over to a different provider. Also would like to file a official complaint in Consumer Court. If some knows how please help me.

                      NEVER EVER GO FOR TIKONA. They will just fool you by offering long term plan of 3 years and will take money in advance.

                        Dear Sir,

                        PART 1
                        This complaint is regarding Internet services provider Tikona Wi-Bro. My user ID was :- [protected]. I had disconnected the ISP service somewhere in September 2010 clearing all their previous dues by cheque which got cleared as well. I disconnected all their devices and never connected the same back again.

                        PART 2
                        After which I had specifically called their helpline no. and escalated the call to their supervisor Mr. Mandar to disconnect the same permanently (service got disconnected within 1 hour). After which I got 2 confirmation calls from TIKONA asking for a feedback and the reason for disconnection of the same.

                        PART 3
                        Now they are calling me 7th Feb 2011 stating that I have my previous dues of Rs 7000(obviously false amount) and they would settle the same for Rs 1200. When replied that I have no such dues and have already disconnected the same long back clearing all the dues, they started talking in a very RUDE and ARROGANT manner stating that the charges were RENTAL and it was disconnected temporary and not permanently, also it was my mistake that I did not call them and follow up with the company to confirm that weather my service was disconnected or not. He said it was disconnected temporary and not permanently.
                        Also he stated that we are very busy doing a lot of work so it was your job to call us back to confirm the disconnection.
                        NEED HELP!!!!
                        Kindly help me as I had already raised a request to disconnect the connection which was acknowledged by the company within 1 hour. Why should I pay for the company's mistake and negligence? I also havea part of the RECORDING of our conversation where the company’s representative was talking in a very rude and ill mannered and illogical way trying to force me to pay the BILLS generated after disconnection and threatening me to move to court and then force me to pay the bills.

                        Also he debating on useless issues like
                        1) Who was the supervisor you called.
                        2) What was his no.
                        3) Why don’t you call him back now etc. etc.

                        NOTE: - 1) All the devices provided by the company are handed over to them.
                        2) I did not receive any bill after disconnection of the same.

                        No Update from Tikona since 2011 no calls, emails messages, seems the case is closed and can be deleted. No steps as such was initiated by the company and the thread is pending since a very long time.

                        I had done a big mistake to take tikona broadband connection. After requesting for disconnection on 8th June still now I am getting bill….

                        Not only one time I have placed my request to customer care several time without any result… I got a call from technical people for collecting the router but nobody came.                           I am staying in Marathahalli, Bangalore. I have taken Tikona wibro connection on 3rd Feb 2011 . My user Id is [protected]. I have taken 649 plan for 600 kbps unlimited access. First day the speed was ok but from subsequent days I found it 3 time slow than my actual speed. I called their customer care and they told their engineer will be in touch within 6 hrs. Though the time has been exceeded but no body contacted me till now. I came to know from other Tikona customers that same problem used to happen with them regularly and the Tikona people never care to solve it. I request to the authority to take proper steps to stop this fraud company from looting people.Attaching the speed test snapshot taken from their speed test we site.

                            This Laxmi Narasimha Rao from A.P,Hyd, I think "Tikona Digital Networks" will never listen my problem. If this continues I had to cancel my internet and this is last i[censored] not correct my internet download speed on the connection day the speed is 297kbps ( transfer rate is 37 KB/sec ) and on friday it is 115kbps ( transfer rate is 14.39 KB/sec ) and today i.e, sunday it is 68kbps ( transfer rate is 8.48 KB/sec )
                            please correct it please..........

                              On 26th Jan 2011 I was approached by tikona broadban sales people and had promised me 600 kbps connection for Rs.649/- per month and asked me to pay Rs.1,267/- towards first month instalment and installation. I canceled my earlier connection and took up Tikona.
                              from the first day till date they are not able to give me 600 kbps - many complaints - and many visit from their technical dept. but not rectified - so I am asking them to pay back the full amount - for which you can understand the call center never responds - here is the details of the speed connection I am having for which I have to pay bill that is for 600 kbps - WHAT DO I DO ? ANY SUGGESTIONS, OTHER THAN QUITING ?

                                  Iam Balu from Chennai Mogappair , I was a one of the customer of tikona still september 2010. Due to its poor service and responsibility, i was disconnected. but still iam receiving the bills for the payment. I paid an initial Advance for CB299 Plan charges which is refundable, but still they are not planed to return it. And they also cheating in the bills for charging late payment charges even though we paid before due dates. If we raised a complaint, they simply said they forward the complaint to the concern department they will call us ( iam eargly waiting for the past 5 months for the call).

                                    HI,

                                    I had paid money for getting Internet from Tikona Broadband. Tikona executives have come to my house and checked the signals and ask me to pay the money, so i have given the cheque and other required documents and photographs too. They took nearly 1 week to come back to setup the device and finally they arranged the device and they are unable to connect the Internet connection and finally came up with that there are no Tikona signals so they said that they gonna refund my money back within 7 to 15 days. But i haven't recieved none till date. I was keep calling Tikona Customer Services, there is no proper response and are saying you will get the cheque within a week, they havent paid till now. 5 months have been passed but no response.

                                    WHY SHOULD I PAY MONEY FOR CHECKING THEIR(TIKONA BROADBAND) SIGNALS IN MY RESIDENTIAL AREA ? PLEASE ADVICE ME FOR FURTHER STEPS.

                                      I am currently having two tikona installations. One at my home (User Id : 110XXX6140) & one at my office (User Id : 110XXX8553) . My service activation date is 19/12/10 and 15/12/10(I don't remember it accurately). I got the office installation first & then at my home followed by one of my flatmate. We took the other 2 connections thinking that Tikona will serve us good as promised by the sales executive( who himself claimed to the Engineer). But we only felt cheated. My Home plan is the 2Mbps one & I don't remember getting that much of speed ever.Even in the office we hardly see the 1Mbps mark. And even if the speedtest shows some speed pages are not opening as fast. You can only imagine the amount of irritation it causes us . . . . The obvious way any common man will go from here is to the Customer Care using the Toll Free No. So did I . . . . & here started a completely out of the world experience . .

                                      My Home :

                                      1. My first complaint is lodged on 20/12/10 (next day of the installation)
                                      2. Then on 1/1/11 which only closed on 4/1/11 (Ticket Id - 1-[protected]) downtime 3 days
                                      3. Then on 14/1/11 which only closed on 19/11/11 (Ticket Id - 1-[protected]) downtime 5 days
                                      4. Then again on 27/1/11 I lodged a ticket (Id - 1-[protected]) Which automatically got closed on 28/1/11 with no engineer visit nothing at all
                                      5. Frustrated & depressed I lodged a ticket again on 29/1/11 (Id - 1-[protected]) Which, too is marked as closed (dated - 31/01/11) downtime 2 days.

                                      now . . .& I never got even a sms about anything forget about service, engineer visit or resolution.

                                      I was going to do the same today . . .but couldn't see any sense in doing it that's why I am writing this post.

                                      My Office :

                                      1. We have some back up data cards Reliance & BSNL 3g so, the office is taken care by that.
                                      2. We were promised a static IP with our corporate plan & this was supposed to be assigned in 7 days. So we lodge a request on 17/12/10 (id - 1-[protected]) then strangely this ticket got automatically closed on 28/12/10 without any intimation to me at all. This is what was shocking to me . . .nowhere in the world tickets are closed like this
                                      3. Then on 12/1/11 (id - 1-[protected]) & this, too was automatically closed without assigning the static ip on 25/01/11, as always a formal courtesy to intimate us was too much to be asked for.
                                      4. 1-[protected] ticket lodged on 12/1/11 for network problem . . .got automatically closed on 16/1/11 downtime 4 days.
                                      5. 1-[protected] ticket lodged on 14/1/11 for network problem . . .got automatically closed on 17/1/11 downtime 3 days.



                                      While choosing Tikona I checked the reviews & found that tikona is not very popular amongst its customers . . .Now I see a reason to it . . .

                                        DEAR SIR

                                        I am an unfortunate customer of a wretched and pathetic internet service provide of our country. The company is known as Tikona in the market. My customer id of Tikona is [protected]. I took the troublesome connection when I was in Arjun Nagar in the vicinity of Green Park Extension. My address there was House No.3, Gali No.3, First Floor, Arjun Nagar, Safdarjung Enclave. On October 31, 2010, I shifted from that location to Pandav Nagar in East Delhi. When I called up the Tikona engineer of Arjun Nagar area to transfer the service to Pandav Nagar, he told me that their network was not available in Pandav Nagar. He also asked me to disconnect the service. Next, I called up the customer care executive for disconnection but they insisted me not to disconnect the service as they were going to roll out their network in Pandav Nagar. I made several attempts to disconnect my service but they never took any action on my requests. I am attaching some of mails that I sent to them for my request. But, it was disheartening to see that the deaf and dumb Tikona customer care service never replied me back. Later when I came to know that Tikona's network was rolled out in Pandav Nagar, I again tried to reinstall my connection. As, all those months I was paying their bills without their service. But still after making so many calls and sending so many mails to them, they seem determined to be not moved on the issue. Moreover, I kept my connection on hold in December but they have again generated the full bill for period December to January. I am embarrassed, angry and become hopeless on the problem. It has become a headache for me to get rid of their net. Please take action on the issue as I am writing this to you thinking you as the last resort.
