Dear sir,
I had a tikona broadband connection long before (2 year) and i was not satisfied with the service so i raised the complain for disconnecting my connection and now after 2 years i'm getting a call from this guy ravi as said by him, harassing me since morning for payment of the month bill which service i have not used.
I request you to please look after the matter and take quick action so i don't have to face any harassment further.

    Have been using tikona from feb 2017,
    From start services is worst, have complain for waver, but they all ways give silly reason like
    We have checked ur service it was working fine
    The complain date o[censored]r waver u have provided, in that u have used internet.
    Like that reason which where not true.
    If the internet is not working how will we use internet.
    And complaining many time for no internet and slow speed issue, from last 1 year only 5 to 6 times technical person had visited, in that also problem was not resolved.
    So i finally call for cancellation and they where not taking request on phone, they just tell me that they will resolve the connection problem and net will work,
    But i told them don't want it.
    Still they call and harassed us.
    So i emailed them for cancellation, still they call us and say we will solved the internet service issue.
    After giving warning about consumer complain and police complain also they are keep calling us for continuing there service,
    I had wasted my money, my energy to them for a year now
    I want them to cancel my connection.
    And stop harassing us.
    Have started my cancellation request from april 5th 2018
    Had sended email on 18th april.

    P. S if possible would like my money back
    Plzz help me to resolve this issue

      Hi,

      My name is shad, tikona user id : [protected].

      I was a tikona prepaid broadband customer few years back. Due to poor connectivity, i decided to disconnect the connection. On repeated disconnection requests, tikona was not ready to process my requests and they kept asking me if i want to transfer/shift the connection. I denied the same multiple times, and finally they gave me an offer, which was for 1140 rs, for 1 year. What they offered me was, play 1140 for a year, and i will be getting few gb's every month, without paying anything more for a year, since it was a cheap plan, i decided to keep it, thinking i could use it for any emergency situation, as i was already having another broadband connection. After making the payment, the internet got activated, but that was when we got to know that, it was for a year 20 gb was allocated. Hence we stopped using the connection regularly. But again every month we were charged an amount of 100 or so, even though we were told by tikona that it's a 1 year plan. The bill kept coming, and i kept calling for a clearance of the bill, as i had already paid for a year.

      After 1 year, there was no intimation regarding the plan expiry, nor we requested for a renewal. Later again after 2-3 months, we started getting mails that our bills have been generated for that period.

      First we never asked for a renewal, because tikona was the worst broadband we've ever had. Without my concern, tikona renewed the plan, and started generating bills. There was no intimation regarding this. The entire time, i have sent mails to tikona for disconnection of my service, for which they never responded. Every time i called, they either say "we'll take your request" or they drop the call. Once in a while i started getting mails or calls, and when i say it's a fake bill, they again disconnect the call.

      Now after 3 years, i am getting calls from random people, claiming themselves to be advocates, from delhi, saying tikona has filed a complaint against me, for non-payment of the bill. They are threatening me like local rowdies, and it's clearly threatening calls. Which is mentally harassing me.

      I need my bills to be withdrawn, as,

      * i was told that, it's a pay once and use for 1 year plan, by tikona cc.
      * during this 1 year period also i was getting bills every month, but when i tried reaching out to tikona, they never responded.
      * there was no intimation regarding the existing 1 year plan expiry.
      * after continuous requests for disconnection, still tikona was not ready to disconnect my connection.
      * i did not accept a router from tikona, as i was already having one.
      * the device tikona fixed on my apartment terrace, was already being used by multiple people in the same building.

      Tikona is responsible for the mental harassment i am facing from these so called advocates, who are calling me. After checking in the internet abut the same, i got to know that, this is not just my case, in fact it's the same with all the tikona customers. However, i do not want to get a call again from tikona.

      I am also attaching the screenshots of the mails which i sent to tikona for my disconnection. I want my bills to be withdrawn as soon as possible. Or else i would be forced to move legally.

      I wonder if Tikona is even reading the complaint! If this is the case what's the point in posting the same as a complaint. They just post the same reply for all the complaints. I guess it's done by a bot, not any human representatives. Pathetic man!

      I have clearly mentioned the details in the complaint, and I didn't come here to know my fake due bill by Tikona. What I wanted was an action against this scam, like any other Tikona customer.

      HaHa! Very pathetic!

      What's the point of lodging complaints here, if only thing Tikona has to say is the same thing again and again, without even reading the complaint?

      Internet is flooded with complaints against Tikona, and still all they have to do is posting the same reply. I even wonder, this is done by some kind of automated Bot!

      However, since I have came across n number of complaints of the same type, I understant, that I am not the only one who is a victim of this scam.

      I am going to fight against this, and not going to pay a single penny, which was charged over me unknowingly! We need to put an end to this scam.

      If you have any further clarifications, reply from your official email id to my email id.

        My reference number for 1-[protected] disconnection of tikona userid [protected] has been requested and they informed me that it will take 10 days to disconnect the connection and now it has moved to 45 days which is hopeless, you call their customer care and they do all fake promises. I have not received any conformation till date for bill stop and procedure to disable username this is like exploitation. Please help

          I am about to lodge an fir against tikona digital miraroad for harassing me after producing a fake bill for internet connection. The connection was a prepaid one and after asking them to disconnect because of poor services, i was asked to pay a bill. On repeated explanations given to various customer care executives, none responded to the complaint and now they are threatening us with fake calls from lawyers and fee collectors.

            I was using tikona services in 2016 and i was very unhappy with it even the guy who installed the wifi misguided me that its gonna be working like airtel and i wont face any issues with it but then when i started using it they demanded money to install a new router with which it will be just like airtel but it didnt then they told me buy static ip address then it will be just like airtel but i didnt pay that amount and told me tikona guy to close my account i dont wanna deal with you cheats anymore.. I didnt even paid their bill because i was frustated with this company.. Then i got a call in dec 2017 that atleast make the payment of the usage that i did which was for ₹2300 and i did paid for it as i didnt wanted any problems in my life.. Tikona representative told me to make that payment and they will close my account and no action will be taken.. But now iam getting the threating calls again that i have to pay their late fine aswell but i wont do that as they are the biggest fraud company ive ever seen.. I just want to file a complaint against tikona fraud company.. My phone number is [protected] please i need a solution to this i dont wanna leave these cheats like this so that they can scam others as well..

              I am writing you with regards to multiple harassment phone calls, emails and messages sent to my parents and myself by tikona employees in spite o[censored]s having disconnected the services in aug 2017 and a service man taking the rooftop device away as well in sep 2017.

              Please be informed that the request for disconnection was in fact raised in april 2017. Moreover, mr ranjan at [protected] (Who took the device) has confirmed to us that he sent the data to the company and as per policy destroyed it after 3 months. Which clearly means you have the records for the device being returned!

              Since march 2018, we have been receiving phone calls which i have henceforth marked as spam and blocked them on truecaller courtesy the tone and language of these callers claiming to be from tikona.

              The issue stated by them is a non-payment of rs. 1557 for the device which has already been taken by your employee. Why should i pay for a device when tikona has not returned my deposit and moreover, the device has already been taken by a tikona employee.

              Not only do i plainly refuse to pay the amount, i also tell them to check their records. However, today a phone call was received by me stating the person is a lawyer and that they have sent a legal notice (The fraud legal notice attached for your reference as well), for payment of rs. 1557.

              I have the following questions to ask you now:
              1. Having worked with lawyers for my company as well, i know what a legal notice looks like. This document - i am sorry to say - is a cheap fraud copy of a legal notice and i am honestly very tempted to file this as a harassment fir with the local police station. Please find below reasons for calling this legal notice fraud:
              -subject/ heading legal notice is missing
              -body of letter vs. Letter head are two separate documents printed together. Clearly the body of the letter is used multiple times so the “lawyer” cannot be bothered to write fresh letters and instead just copy pastes?
              -where are the contact numbers and emails of the lawyers? What if my advocate wants to contact your advocates? Let the lawyers talk at least!!! That is how the law works in this country last i checked.
              -no stamp of law office. I can be a self-proclaimed lawyer tomorrow if such letters are all it takes!
              2. The customer they are calling (Referring to my parents here now) are senior citizens. Retired senior citizens.in a country like india where elders are respected, trying to defraud them out of retirement funds is as cheap a tactic as can get! What are you going to do about this as the ceo of the company as this is a rampant issue as per online forums with your company and its customers?
              3. There was a demand notice sent on 5th march 2018 without any authorised signatory - the pdf needed to be digitally signed to be taken as an authentic file. Yet another fraud by your company? The demand notice itself has a warning stating it needed to be digitally signed - however, i find no digital signatures as this was sent as email text and not even a pdf secure file!!!

              I don't trust Tikona - Forums or whatever - A company making fake Lawyer calls over and over and over again from different numbers each time - and you expect me to log a complaint with your forum instead of a public Consumer Complaints forum? To what purpose?

              Revert here so the world can see your response and not on a company page owned and run by you.

              I have received multiple phone calls even after logging this complaint so what is the point of logging it on your private forum? My standard response now is to tell them to contact my lawyer or share their details so my lawyer can contact them and then the fake pretend lawyers (committing a criminal offence by impersonating a legal office person) hangs up!

              This is your amazing service. Thanks but I will stick to reverting on this forum itself.
              At least read the issue. Device has been submitted and account is closed and there are no dues. Deposit has also not been returned by tikona.
              Moreover, I got yet another harassing call today. From a different number this time.

                  I am getting threatening calls from Nidhi Sharma forcing me to pay some 2400 without any base
                  If I dont pay she will drag me to the court and tells that I will be liable to pay Rs50000/- fine and 6 months imprisonment.

                  When I ask her the details she denies to share the details and disconnects the calls.
                  She asks me to do the payment within 30 minutes. After 30 minutes again she calls and start threatening.

                  She asks me to come to Delhi court. When I checked her number, it showed spam on the name of Raghubeer Saha

                  She threatens of blocking my bank accounts. I am afraid if she is a hacker or someone.

                  I got call from nidhi sharma claiming to be an advocate that too government employee and threatens me to pay 2400 for some non existing outstanding payment. There is no outstanding as per info. And when i ask her the detailed statement she straight away denies and disconnects. She does not even lets me talk. Says that i am govt advocate of some delhi court. If i don't pay amount she will drag me to the court in delhi and fine me with 50000 and 6months imprisonment.
                  You r requested to take strict action against tikona and that lady called nidhi sharma.
                  When i checked that number on truecaller i found it to be a scam.
                  She threatens me to block all my bank accounts, my govt documents etc.

                  There is no outstanding as per info. And when I asked her the detailed statement she straight away denies and disconnects. She does not even let me talk. Says that I am govt advocate of some Delhi court.
                  If I don't pay the amount she will drag me to the court in Delhi and fine me with Rs. 45000 and 6 months of imprisonment.
                  Requesting to take strict action against Tikona and that lady called Nidhi Sharma.
                  When I checked that number on Truecaller I found it to be a scam.
                  She threatens me to block all my bank accounts, my govt documents etc.

                    Hi took tikona's connection in nov/dec 2016 in pune and paid advance for 3/6 months amount rs 2987. But due to non availability and multiple failures from tikona to provide a connected internet i had raised a termination request in dec 2016 itself.
                    I suffered a lot because of tikona and ended up losing job also. Jan 2017 they asked me to retain this account id to someone else name also, i provided my friend address and number but t hey failed to provide a service. Meanwhile i asked for refund but it was never entertained.

                    I moved out of pune in jan 2017 itself, leaving all these things behind, but today i got call from lawyer to pay addition 1000 rs because i had not paid the balance amount for account closure.

                    I have paid the amount but i have never seen such a ridiculous service and such unprofessional behavior from any other company.

                    And this is completely case of harassing a consumer by promising good service taking money out of his pocket and then cheat the customer by threatening him to come to delhi court

                    and if it was closed as per my instruction then WHY I was charged 1000? WHY i was not reimbursed the amount which was not used? And how the hell I got legal call after more than 14 months of disconnection of account????
                    AND WHY no customer care executive talked to me??? WHY my mails were answered??

                    AND I DON'T WANT TO CONTACT YOU THROUGH forum.tikona.in. THIS COMPLAINT STILL PERSISTS AND WILL BE DISCUSSED HERE or ON CALL in case you guys call me because i tried calling tikona and all sleeping employees don't answer the call.

                        I had raised a disconnection request for my Tikona connection id: [protected] in mid of March 2017 and had sent a mail regarding the same on 18th of April 2017 since there was no action taken. After which a representative of Tikona had come to my home to collect the remaining of the payment and i was informed there is no due pending from my side. I asked the representative to take the Modem but he did not take it. I was later called to check my availability to take the modem and I had asked the representative to come, but still i am getting calls that i have not returned the Modem and there is outstanding amount. When i have already paid the money and asked multiple times for the representative to take them modem. Now i am frequently recieving calls from Tikona and Lawyers of Tikona that I have to pay some money. Please help me know what is happening and why I am being Harassed in this manner, irrespective of the fact that i had paid the money and promptly asked the representative to take the equipment back an year ago. Please find from the representative who came to my home and collected the money. If required i can attach the initial mails i had sent also

                        I had requested for a termination of my connection on the 18th of April 2017 but it was not disconnected and a bill was generated even in the month of May which i have not even used. Please be truthful to your customer and have some work ethics before generating fraud bills even after the request for termination. This Monday 9th of Feb the tikona customer care had mentioned that my final bill amount is 1252 after waiver(though i have not used it) but you have sent me a mail for 1652. I am completely fed up with your company and the way you are harrassing people.
                        Eventhough i have not used the service but still i will go ahead and pay 1252 as mentioned by your customer care executive as i want to get rid of the nuisance of getting the threatening call from Tikona team.

                        Tikona connection is the biggest nightmare i had in my life.

                            We wish to draw your kind attention to the following facts:

                            That tikona infinet pvt ltd is a corporate body duly registered under the companies act, 1956, and in business of providing internet services.
                            That you have subscribed the internet services being provided by us on the terms and conditions as laid down in the subscriber registration form (Srf) which was duly read acknowledged and signed by you
                            That in lieu of the internet services availed under this agreement and the devices provided to you, we have from time to time sent you bills for the same.
                            In view of the non-payment of the bills, you have also been reminded through telephone calls and sms messages to make payment of the bills sent to you. However, in spite of several such demands and reminders, you have failed and neglected to pay the amounts of outstanding bills aggregating to rs.4654.in accordance with the terms and conditions of the srf, you were under an obligation inter-alia to make payment of periodic bills raised upon you in respect of services availed by you. However, in spite of the receipt of statement o[censored]sage from us, you have grossly failed to make said payments.
                            In addition to above, you shall be required to pay rs. 1500 in case you fail to return modem along with all accessories to our authorized representative.

                            Please refer to para 23 of terms and conditions of the subscription, an extract is appended below

                            “in case of service discontinuation, the subscriber shall compulsorily return all the modems in working condition.in the event of subscriber not being able to deliver the modem to the company, for reasons attributable to their action/account, the modems would be assumed to be permanently undeliverable to any person including the company.in such an event, including a case where the modems are delivered by the subscriber in non-working conditions, the company would charge the subscriber rs. 1500 per modem not returned or returned in non-working conditions towards penalty/damages for breach of the terms of service. This is applicable for all plans.

                              I would like to start by saying that - don't ever opt for tikona services, they happen to be a big time fraud/ cheaters.

                              I started using my using my tikona connection in dec 17 and i paid 3 months rental as an advance. I was being told if you'd pay 3 months advance, you would be liable to get free installation for tikona and no bill would be generated until march 18.

                              The installation was done by ashok - [protected] and his boss is nitin sharma - [protected].

                              They both are a con artist and there seem to be discrepancies between them and the tikona team.

                              Now a bill has been generated by their accounts team and they are forcing me to make the payment. Even though i have stopped using the services long back.

                              Their sales team is not answering the calls and their back end team is not helpful at all.

                              People save yourselves, don't waste your money. Never opt for tikona.

I have sent the disconnection email request to tikona customer care and also called tikona customer care and inform them about disconnection. But that person tried to convince to keep connection. I have refused service continuation. Also tikona local guy contact me and explained about this payment due and swithch over to another location.                                   Due to the pathetic nature of your internet service i want to get my net disconnected i got this connection but i've been facing numerous problems with the connectivity right from the start. I get numerous disconnections every single day, even now as i write this i got disconnected several times. And if you see my complaint logs you'll know that i've made a lot of complaints regarding disconnections and each time i was assured that it would be resolved but this claim has not worked even once i tell you. Your stupid net service has ruined many of my work-related projects. Do you have any idea just how annoying it is to get disconnected while you are doing your projects i've run out of patience and i cannot bear to be tormented every single day by your pathetic net service. Then they started threatening me with sms & mail mentioning that legal action would be initiated against me

                                    On 21st march 2018, i have requested to close the connection [protected]. They change the request to shifting and on new location they don't have services. On 5th of april when i asked, is my connection get closed the are saying that we have raised a close request on 30th march 2018 and it will take 10 days to close it. My concern is why raised a new request and why original request change to shift request before checking services on new location. Very bad customer service and escalation matrix to contact.

                                        I'm a former user of tikona broadband service in hadapsar, pune. I installed the connection 7 months ago and was told to pay rs.3070 for the three months of service. I was also told that there will be no extra charge and i was good for three months. But soon after 2 months i started receiving calls and texts from the company that my fees is pending and i need to pay rs.2208 more. I asked the engineer about it and he told me that i have already paid full payment so i should ignore but they limited my service in next 15 days. I told them and made it clear briefly how they made a mistake but they didn't listen a word from me. I finally cut the whole connection after the complete three months o[censored]sage. But i still have tons of their texts in my inbox. They stopped calling for a while. I thought they figured their mistake out but now i'm getting threatening calls from their lawyer. He said if i don't pay, they will bring me to court and the case is already file. Nobody is that naive, i know they are just trying to scare me but yes it works to a limit. I'm very frustrated with this and i need this to be solved as soon as possible.

                                        hello, I thought the issue was resolved so I did not check this complaint again but seems tikona is still threatening me again by email. Sorry but I am too pessimistic about this company to share my phone number as I do not want any unwanted calls from fake lawyers like before.
