I’m tired of sending emails to this company to disconnect my services. They are forcing me to use the services which i don’t want to. I had a wifi connection with this company.
I have stopped using their services and in they claim i’m using their services just because it’s still kept available from their end. No company can force his/her customers to use the services.

    worst customer service

    I have been a tikona internet user since last 3 years. Tikona had lot of technical issues which they are not ready to resolve. Also, lot of billing related issues where the customer service is not ready to resolve. I got the bill for the month of february for which the amount got deducted twice from my account. The amount got adjusted for the month of march automatically. Now all of a sudden tikona is asking me to pay for them month of march...

      My story dates back to December 2016 when I made the stupidest mistake of my life by applying for a tikona wi-bro connection at the place where I worked. Getting the connection was relatively easy as one would imagine and once I even had to complain about the speed as tikona is well known for by now. Apart from that there was one other complaint I registered with tikona regarding a billing issue but then it was resolved as I was still a paying customer.
      Now at the time of connection, I paid for two months in advance along with the installation charges which was fine with me. But before the two months was up, I found out I was going to have to move to another location in less than a week.
      So as any responsible adult would do, I wrote an email to tikona. In clear words I told them that they should hurry up with the disconnection since it might get difficult for them to retrieve their device after I move as it was a construction site. The next two days after I wrote that email, I received about 4 to 5 calls from tikona asking me to transfer the connection instead of closing it and man did I have patience back then because I spent anywhere between 5 to 10 mins explaining each caller that I could not do that but I would be happy to reapply for a connection should I felt the need for it. I also reminded each caller to speed up the disconnection process and retrieve the device at the site before I left but they didn't seem at all bothered by it(now I realize why). After that I did not receive any calls or emails until the 1st of march. The e-mail I received on that day clearly stated that "my account has been closed and there are no dues as of 1st march". Case closed and we all move on with our lives...or so I believed.
      On 17th Nov, almost 8 and a 1/2 months after my account was closed, I receive a bill for Rs. 1500/- as penalty charges, which at the time I didn't even know was for their device (which they conveniently forgot to collect).
      So like a confused person, I wrote emails after emails trying to clarify what they meant by penalty charges but every single reply from them was the same. I am paraphrasing ... "your account so and so has been deactivated the following is the full and final settlement for your account, if you do not pay this money we will take legal action against you both civil and criminal".
      Fast forward a couple of months and I finally figured out what the penalty charges was for and in my justified anger I write one last e-mail telling them that I will be filing a official complain with DoT as well as consumer complaints. I also gave them 7 days time to rectify their stupidity which is exactly the time they gave me in their legal notice.
      I then receive an email from them asking me to share my alternate mobile number as I have been unreachable and they have an update to share with me to which I replied... if you people think that I will make the mistake of giving you my other number so you and your fraud lawyers can harass me, you are even more stupid then I realized. Anything you have to say you can send it to me in writing as I will be needing all the written proof in the form of e-mails when I do file an official complaint against you fraudulent scums (again I am paraphrasing but true no less, they are truly scum).
      After that, I have received no e-mail communication from their end since one month not even a reminder for the payment which I used to receive on a weekly basis or another legal notice. Come to think of it, I haven't even received any calls from tikona either.
      But now after one month of complete silence, I am starting to receive calls on a daily basis from frauds like Neha Gupta, Priya Mehra, Rakesh Tiwari etc. Anything these frauds have to say to me, they can do so in writing.
      You see I would have been happy to release all the e-mail conversation between me and tikona and watch while they try to justify their stupidity but since everything was quite for a month I just presumed they had rectified their "mistake", but now that it's become clear that they won't let go of this scam so easy, I will now fight back. ALL THE WAY.
      I am hereby attaching the snapshots of the e-mail conversation between tikona and me.
      P.S - I have warned you time and again to not test my patience but you frauds just don't know when to let go, do you? As I have mentioned in my e-mails multiple times I have all the proof I need to make my case. My e-mails, phone records, even a couple of conversations that I have recorded with tikona executives and believe me I am not the least bit afraid o[censored]sing it. The time for being civil is over. I tried to do this the civil way but I guess we'll do it your way instead.

      It is so funny that you think I was trying to reach out to you through THIS WEBSITE. You see this post was actually meant for your potential and ex customers to let them and everyone know about your fraudulent scummy behaviour. Only the part in ‘P.S’ was actually meant for you since I know that mentally ### scumbags like you are not capable of having civilized and detailed discussion. You have proven time and again just how incapable you are of resolving any issues but then I understand that in order to solve an issue one needs to be intelligent enough to actually understand it and honest enough to want to resolve it.
      According to the professional advice I have received, posting my story was just the first step but I am glad you responded to my complaint since now I can attach your response to the list of things I will be sending to DoT, when I officially file a complaint. Along with your responses the most interesting thing in my opinion would be my phone records which will show the amount and intensity of harassment I have received from your so called “lawyers”. And of course a couple of conversations I have recorded with your executives will just be a cherry on top. Next step for me however, is to file an official complaint with your appellate authority and wait for their response and then finally I will file a complaint with DoT and send them our email conversations, my phone records, official replies I have received from tikona on my complaint as well as the recorded conversations. You have made this into such a massive issue for me that now I am going to see this through all the way whether DoT or even consumer court. I will not stop until and unless I receive an official apology from tikona and in writing please; since you have made it very clear that your words mean absolutely ### in real life.
      But since you are replying maybe you could clear something up for me: - In all the threats and replies I have received from tikona since Nov-17, you have said that the above mentioned amount is “full & final settlement”, so then why in Jan-18 did you lie about arranging an engineer for equipment’s recovery (see attached email for ref). Shouldn’t you have already collected the device before sending me the “full & final settlement” notice? Of course unless “full & final settlement” means something entirely different in tikona’s dictionary and I wouldn’t really be that surprised if it did.
      You see from the research that I have done and people who have been victimized by tikona has made me understand that even if I were to pay your “full & final settlement” (which I won’t since you never collected the device while I was at the site and I pleaded multiple times for you to do so and you never even sent any communication regarding equipment recovery) you would just create another fraud bill in the next month and continue that charade for as long as you can since you understand that innocent customers like myself would scare easily at the thought of lawyers and courts and it will be easy to extort money from us. In fact, as I understand it that in its entirety is the basis of your scam, isn’t it? This time however, you chose a wrong man for your scam. I don’t have a job anymore and have nothing better to do, so this is now going to be my main focus from now on.
      Yeah, so if you could clear that up for me that would be great and also kindly send me the email id of tikona’s appellate authority. Now, I have said this before and I will say it again; anything you or your so called “lawyers” have to say to me, you can send it to me in writing on my email.

        I have requested to disconnect my account in July-2017 and not using your service from then. I called the customer service and explained them that i am moving out from the room so please disconnect the service. I got many marketing calls to continue or take the connection in different city where i am going. I denied them and told them to please disconnect as i have already cleared the previous bill dues i didn't wanted a new bill. They told the customer executive will come and take the devices and all. I handed over the devices to the landlord so they can give as i was about to leave the premised by 15th July.

        Despite communicating many times to tikona service that i want to disconnect the service they didn't do and they generated the bill. They have my call recording as well as all customer care does the same. They kept calling me for marketing then onwards also and told me that they have changed my plan to Zero Rupee so in future you can again avail the plan. i told them that i am not using so the charges should not come but they haven't done until the new bill was generated. Some Advocate Nidhi Sharma says that you need to come to Delhi Civil Court or Kala Ghoda Civil Court and 85k otherwise i need to pay 2k against bill.

        I am not going to pay a single penny and any official tried to come at my home will be punished.

        If anyone has faced the same problem join My campaign to blow up the company against TRAI whcih is telecom regulatory and we can shut down this company and win the case as we are not wrong and company is SCAMMING poor people only.

        Everyone tries to scam poor people i don't know why?

        Tikona has been taken over by Airtel so now I think Sunil Mittal should also come to know about the scam being going on by the Tikona people.

        Bakwas SPeed everytime and everytime issue related problem is nearby tower.

        Common people comment me who are with me truely and will come over or testify to court their story that they were also cheated by Tikona.

          I was using tikona wifi services since september last year and due to several connectivity issues facing on daily basis we decided to terminate the service.
          So we paid the bill till jan 14 and informed the care by call and mail to terminate the service and they confirmed that the service will be discontinued and we clearly mentioned we are not going to pay any penny afterwards.
          On 25jan they sent a mail that you will be charged rs 20 per gb and we didn't get any single reply after the the disconnection request on our mail but on call conversation we were assured we will not be charged post 14 jan as our connection is on observation period. They kept our connection in observation period twice for 5 days
          But now they say you have bill amount of 1177, when our running plan was 885 how come the bill is generated 1177.
          On talking with customer care in month of february they used to call daily basis to pay the due and they were ready to provide waiver of 300 but now they are not ready to provide any waiver.
          We feel cheated and a conspired to pay extra amount since the disconnection request is done from the socalled pan india company.
          If earlier we were told that post usage will be charged 20 rs per gb, we would not have used even single mb
          As we were in talk with the senior executive every time regarding this billing issues and fraudulent billing.
          We are very much disappointed and feel very cheated.

          We are time and again threatened to pay the due amount or we will be charged extra 100 rs for late payment on monthly basis.
          More over we are being convinced to take tikona service again from time to time and then they will provide more waiver in previous due for settlement.

              This company is a cheat. The representative showed me a demo with 4mbps connection and during the demo the internet was working great with a download speed of 4 mbps and an upload speed of 900 kbps. Based on this i booked a new connection (4mpbs) and the installation team came to my apartment and i asked them to show the signal strength and speed before actual installation. I am getting very slow speed and very poor conectivity. Raised so many complains (20 complains in a month) but issue same, i sent an email to ceo prakash. [protected]@tikona.in‎; [protected]@tikona.in and customer care still same issue. I realized that still consumers dont have any rights in india. Now i am asking for dissconnection they saying no refund money possible against advnce payments. This is my horrible experience in my life time. Please don't try the internet connection given by this company they know how to cheat & frustrate the customer only. The customer care of tikona is world's worst service i ever seen.

                I have recharged my account using my online account repeat transaction of voucher 899. When i called the cust care an agent named sidharth assured that it will be activated in 4 hours. After more than 12 hours when i called them an agent named aryan informed that it will take 48 hours as the payment is reflecting but the voucher is still not activated. Inspite of me explaining he kept repeating the same thing. I asked for a supervisor, he placed me on hold for some time came back and said it will take 24 hours. I told him that already 12 hours have passed by. He said there are no sups available and some one will call back in 4 hours but the activation will take 24 hours. I was told to be free to complain. This is the first such instance with tikona but a very disappointing one. No understanding or empathizing with the cust rather jus putting your point wherein there is no fault of the cust. I was still not given an explanation of why all quoted different tat for voucher activation and why such delay. My account can be traced using my mob [protected]

                  I was using tikona broadband services from feb 17- aug17. Termination id [protected]. The reason for termination is, there was almost no signal connection/strength in the month of jul-17. I have raised request for proper signal connection then their representative came and did some checks and later said now the network is fine. But later found the same problem. Then again i have raised same request. Again the representative did the same but unable to spot the actual cause. The actual reason was they have shifted their broadband transmitting antenna to other location but our receiving antenna in the old direction. But for new location our receiving antenna will not come for line of sight as their are some veggy and buildings in between. They have tilted our receiving antenna but unable to get the broadband speed. Their representative suggested to disconnect your service as there is no proper visibility of new antenna location. But i have paid bill for that month. I terminated their services and requesting for refund of the amount. There is no proper answer or response for my request from their side. I have called and mailed customer care many times for refund of my paid bill but there no solution/reply. Hence i decided to return their modem only after returning my amount.
                  Now they have sent legal notice and fine amount for not returning the modem.

                  It's their fault for not providing proper connection.

                  Kindly answer to my concern. I have paid the bill (last bill while in the service) even there was no(week) signal due to re location of your transmission station and due to poorer LOS.

                  I have informed you to refund the amount and take your accessories. But you couldn't reply. I have told to your representative to take back the accessories once I get clarification and refund. But till today there is no valid answer. Why I have to make payment of 1431.34/-?

                    Today[protected] got call from advocate neha sharma and threatening me to pay due amount within half an hour or case will be filed,, it is so humiliating
                    I already raised disconnection for tikona,, but still from you side its not done,,

                    I read most of the forum saying same complaints,, please disconnect from your side and provide the status asap.

                    I asked customer team to send mail with due amount with statement as - after paying due amount the connection will be disconnected..

                    But they only specified due amount, , i need confirmation from your side after paying due amount my connection need to be closed..

                    May I know, , I raised for disconnection in 2017, , still my connection not got disconnected and adding me amount, , is there any valid answer from your side

                      I have Tikona wifi service from Sept. 2016 for one year (customer id: [protected] in the name of Sushma S Easwar). On completion of that period I spoke to Tikona Customer service on Sept.18, 2017 requesting for current plans and based on it I opted for their "720 days - 3800GB - 10 Mbps - Rs.8, 000 prepay" plan. On making payment, I sent them an email (posted below) confirming the same. Then on Oct.24, 2017; Dec.25, 2017 I kept sending email for plan update but they never replied. On March 14, 2018, I called Tikona and spoke to their rep. Pradeep Thakur Nilesh Mistery Chiranjeev who all kept on insisting that I opted for the monthly plan where I am getting billed over Rs.800 pm. I told them who in the right mind will pay upfrom of Rs.8, 000 if it is for monthly. They said cannot do anything asI nevery wrote to them for plan change and my balance after use of 5 months and 22 days is only Rs.2, 940 or so (out of Rs.8, 000). I started digging through my email and finally on March 15 I forwarded them the mails from above 3 dates (Sept.18 2017-Oct.24, 2017-Dec, 25, 2017) which clearly states for the request. Today (March 21, 2018) I got a call from Sapnil who is from their follow-up cell stating Tikona will give 6 months unlimited internet to resolve this issue. I told him WHEN I PAID FOR 720 DAYS - 3800 GB - Rs.8000 PLAN ON SEPT.18, 2017, WHY YOU ARE OFFERING THIS? I WANT MY ORIGINAL CHANGE OF PLAN REQUEST REINSTATED RETROSPECTIVELY (to end around Spet.10, 2019 or so). So far no resolution inspite of calling and speaking to them many a times. Please help.

                      By the way I want to advise you that though i have 10 Mbps plan, whenever I do a speed test, the download speed I normally get is between 3 and 4 and upload is less than 1 Mbps ! You are still charging me for 10 Mbps speed - literally looting. Can you take up with your technical team and find out why. If someone has to come and change the OLD box in my house, please ask them to take care of that...! Thanks

                      I was talking to one of your representative and and on request to give to his Manager regarding my 2 year plan for which I paid in advance Rs.8, 000 as advised by your customer care representative at the time of renewal for the new plan - 24 months; 3800 MBs, Rs.8, 000.00 !!!

                      In Sept.2017, I requested to change my plan (following email) and your representative still sticks to his argument that I never advised for change of plan
                      Here is the original emaill showing the request and the payment of Rs.8, 000 for the plan - 24 months; 3800MBs; Rs.8, 000.00 + Rs.75 for the billing arrears as of renewal date.

                      (I am fed up talking to your representative and his Manager - no resolution to issue after spending over 40 minutes and only outcome is that my BP went up from 130 to 190)


                      I never agreed or singed any contract on a monthly plan as your representative is arguing with me. My initial plan was for one year (till Sept.2017) and I requested for renewal by paying Rs.8000for the 3800MB two year (720 days) plan.

                      If I am wrong, which FOOL IN THIS WORLD will make an ADVANCE payment of Rs.8, 000 for a monthly plan by loosing interest of @600 !!!

                      You need to update your system RETROSPECTIVE to reflect the below 2-year plan starting Sept 18, 2017 to end after 720 days which is Sept. 10, 2019 without my paying any additional charges for the said plan/contract.

                      By the way, your Customer service representative and his manager was so rude in talking and only stuck to their version rather than listening and co-operating to resolve the issue.

                      Hope you will look into this and resolve rather than my escalating the issue to Consumer Afffairs, Trai or other agencies.

                      Please note, I send anther email on Dec.25, 2017 Please retrieve the mail at your end. I have the copy in my sent folder.

                        I have been cheated multiple times by broadband companies in bangalore. I requested multiple times for a disconnection from tikona but they kept on sending bills even after the disconnection request. They even filed a case against me and made me pay the bills. I am not filing this complaint for any kind of compensation but to know the inability of our system to control this kind of fraud activities from tikona and other broadband service providers.
                        Though i do have a same kind of experience with hathaway but the most ridiculous experience is tikona and with their customer service team!!

                          Used Tikona services for 6 months in Bangalore

                          BAN –[protected] & Service ID – [protected]

                          During the 6 months services, many days the internet services were not working or working in the speed as per my plan. Hence decided to terminate the connection and told them to cancel the connection on September 04 and also mailed to customer care regarding the termination.

                          But customer care guys insisted me to hold the connection for UNKNOWN REASONS!

                          Post the 6 months period, I have used the connection for a month and I have duely paid for it. Post that period I haven't used my connection for a single day as I have opted for ACT services.

                          Now Tikona team is torturing me to pay Rs.1479 which includes Rs.700 as late payment charges.

                          Now Tikona employed advocate Neha sharma[protected] from Delhi Civil Court has called me and giving me mental torture to pay Rs.1479 or face the case in Delhi court . I have tried to explain her that I have proofs regarding my request to cancellation and requested her to verify whether I have used the internet in the foresaid one month period for which I have been charged for.

                          But she was arrogantly refused to listen to my concerns, and asked me to come to Delhi Civil court along with advocate to face the case.

                          As I am living in Bangalore, she is threatening me with legal consequences to be faced at Delhi. Being a consumer she is thinking I cannot raise my voice. All I am trying to say, consumer concerns and not being analysed here. How will I go to Delhi to explain Rs.800 has been charged for an unused period? How to explain Rs.700 has been charged as late payment inappropriately??

                          Can they say I have used the connection for a single day and haven't paid for it????? IF SO I AM READY TO PAY. For being honest and disconnecting the connection in time, these people are threatening me!!

                          Tikona lawyers causing mental torture to me. They should not portray an honest income taxpayer as a wilful defaulter. You can check my CIBIL report to learn I have closed my education loans and home loans in time and paid credit card dues in time. The only reason I don't want to pay Rs.800 bill + Rs.700 late payment charges is that I have already cancelled the connection and haven't used the connection beyond for a single day of subscription. And only your call center executives insisted me not to cancel the connection and kept it open for 5 more months. And now you are blaming me? and threatening me to come to Delhi with an advocate to face the case for Rs. 800? Is this your tactics to make all the customers pay beyond what they have accounted for? I had some faith on using Tikona after shifting my current house. Now they have lost all the respect. I Request all the customers to learn from my experience.

                          Dear Provider,

                          1.Please check the records whether I have used the connection even for a single day post my request for termination.
                          2.Call center executives only haven't honoured my cancellation request and they asked me to hold the connection for some more time. Also they gave some offers to continue the connection. But since I have already paid for ACT I was not ready to use the connection.
                          3.Even though I have subscribed for 6 months, more than 20 days over the 6 months period the internet was not working and submitted the complaints regarding the same. In fact you need to pay back that amount to me.
                          4.Without analysing the fact, you should nt imposed charge + late payment on my account. Please verify the truth before replying.
                          5. I am living in a society where still many people are using Tikona. Please dont spoil your image by using this cheap tantrums to collect the money. Also i have seen some neighbours who used the connection and terminated the connection. But being honest, I never did such cheap tactics. Check whether I have used even for a single day after raising the termination request with call center agent.

                          Waiting for your confirmation on my proofs.

                              No response no help on complaint raised on march 9th 2018. I am not going to write the whole thing again. Please refer to the complaint dated march 9th 2018. Tikona has never helped or resolved my issues including now. Tikona has been the worst company i have ever been and i am not just saying.                                 I am not using your internet connection from December 2017. I do not like tikona internet service. I told your customer care that I do not want to continue with TiKona.

                                Suddenly today I received a call from your company's legal lawyer Mr. Jitendar solanki mob -[protected] who is threatening me for a warrant on me for payment due issues. However I did my payment but Mr jitendra solanki provide me a wrong mail Id and after call he switched off his mobile, and your company have no executive in my area.                                 I am not using your internet connection from December 2017. I do not like tikona internet service. I told your customer care that I do not want to continue with TiKona.

                                Suddenly today I received a call from your company's legal lawyer Mr. Jitendar solanki mob -[protected] who is threatening me for a warrant on me for payment due issues. However I did my payment but Mr jitendra solanki provide me a wrong mail Id and after call he switched off his mobile, and your company have no executive in my area. So is that way your take care of your customers? Very Shameful to us. I request to others please do not take tikona broadband. very worst experience.
                                Below mail sent on 6th Feb to tikona care, they gave false Phone no for Removal of Modem.
                                Kindly advise what to do..

                                Kindly remove your Modem in 1 week on most urgent basis from our Terrace of registered address.we will not be responsible for loss or theft of material if not removed on or before said time.

                                Secondly regarding bill, it was said by your Marketing person- Mr. Rishi Pandey that there will be no charge implemented for 1st 3 months,
                                Then why the bill raised for the same, also because of wrong commitment from your marketing person, i had requested to discontinue my service but the bill had been sent continuously month after month.
                                I had also spoken to your Customer care and told them the issue and had given the contact no of your marketing Person, but no reply came from them.

                                and now i am getting legal threat for paying the amount against your false commitments.

                                  My consumer number is [protected]. I am highly frustrated with tikona internet services, first of all, their service is not good, due to which i stopped using their connection in may 2017 and asked them to disconnect my services. I have spoken to many representatives about this but still, they are adding the charges and sending me the bill. They also threaten in the name of some advocate mr. Chaudhary from delhi (Phone number[protected].
                                  My point is why should i pay the bill if i have not used it. This is a complete mental harassment to me also it has suffered me my loss of job.
                                  I do not know where to go and whom should i complain.
                                  Tikona should pay me a compensation for this.

                                    Residing in g4 royal whitehouse building marutinagar bangalore. Wr took connection gor 3 months&disconnect it. Though they charged ur for extra 500 for net usage. That also we paid online but telling them several time for takibg back tge router&refunding money. They didn't care. They forced to keep the router. Worst compny ever. I wll put 1000 reviews regarding this inconvenience they caused to us.
