I've been asking tikona to terminate our services since october/november 2017. I had not paid the amount as i had said them to progress my termination request only then shall i clear my dues, unfortunately i wasnt aware of the fraud which tikona plays, they rather suspended my account with user id [protected] for not paying the bills but did not terminate my connection.

Yesterday, i recieved a call from a person stating that he's an advocate from delhi (Although i stay in mumbai) court and if i did not pay the bills, he would take the matter to the court and this could be a threat to my career in future.
However, i wasn't aware that the company do hire fake recovery agents to recover the pending amount by threatning the customers. I was afraid and did the payment immediatly.

Today i've raised my disconnection request again by emailing and i hope they terminate my services this time, calling the customer care is a waste of time as they state they'd call within a few days, but the call would never arrive.
I have disconnected all the cables and am not using tikona anymore, if i do receive threatning calls with/without accepting my request of terminating my services, i would take legal action against the fraud tikona company!

This is the request no. 1-[protected].

But i am unable to track my request no. On the tikona selfcare website. I am sure they're planning to sue me once again after a few months! Please process my request or i would take a legal action against those threatning calls!

    This is the email i finally wrote to Tikona customer care since i can never get to reach them and being harassed by their automated calls to pay for services i did not use and the ones i used were pathetic.

    Hello,
    this mail is regards to a reply for continued harassment from Tikona. I stopped using Tikona services due to continued poor services, and no action to improve them. I was cooperating with Tikona for quite a long while as i kept paying all my dues on time, but, i finally lost my patience when there was no action to improve the services from the broadband service provider's end, even after making repetitive calls to seek help on the same.

    Finally when there was no action towards solving my problem and helping me for a few months now, i decided to not waste my money anymore and called Tikona in order to stop my services, but the services were not stopped from company's end even when i requested Tikona to do so. I received a call from Tikona customer care team (Service Head), stating that necessary actions to improve the services have been taken and that i should Continue using the services, but i denied the offer as i was done with all the money i had wasted already and asked him kindly to stop my services. Even after making a kind request to stop the services, my services were not stopped so i had to disconnect the router in order to not use it anymore.

    Another thing to note here is that Tikona's services, being Pre-Paid and not received a payment to continue the services, were still being provided to me for some reason that i do not find an answer for, whereas, my services should have been stopped. After my continued request to stop the services, a bill for an overdue amount was sent to me and my services were finally stopped from Tikona's end a month later. I was spammed and harassed with calls and texts and e-mails from Tikona for almost 6 months for paying for services that i never availed! Due to the continued harassment i had to block Tikona so finally it could stop.

    Finally, being a silent victim for so long, Tikona sent me a demand/legal notice in order to harass me even further, asking me to pay for services i did not use. So i have finally gone ahead and consulted my lawyer to make a complaint against Tikona broadband service providers, in the national consumer court in subject to continued customer harassment for over 6 months, with all the necessary evidences, and i am looking forward to take further actions only if required.

    Tikona's claim is illegitimate and stands null and void against the facts i have stated in this e-mail. I am open to speak peacefully with Tikona officials regarding this issue as i can never reach the customer care number.

    I got a Letter from Halai and Co. Advocates blackmailing me to pay the dues or else legal action will be taken, as well as, i received a call and Whats app message from Raghubeer Saha who claimed to be a Tikona advocate from karkardooma court and asked to pay the dues or threatened to take legal action, however, i was look able to find him by his name on the website of BAR COUNCIL OF DELHI (http://delhibarcouncil.com/search-member) and the Tikona website clearly states that all legal disputes shall be under 'jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai'.

    Even after calling the customer care and telling them their internet never works, or when it does, its better off not working, no action was taken so i had to call and tell them to stop services but they did not listen and sent me a bill due.

    After going though consumer complaint forums and other websites, i have realise that no doubt this is a scam to harass and blackmail consumers after providing pathetic services to them. I seek a solution for the same and resolve the problem.

    My connection has been stopped for over 7-8 months now, but tikona still wont stop spamming me to pay for services i did not avail. I decided to disconnect the tikona's broadband connection when i realized i am just wasting my money as the internet never worked and when it did, it always had speed issues.

    I finally called tikona customer care and told them i want my services to be terminated immediately as i dont want to pay any further money to tikona, but i was still being provided with the services and being told to use it, so, i disconnected my router permanently to not use any further services and be liable to pay for them.

    Now i am being harassed as i got a letter from halai and co. Advocates blackmailing me to pay the dues or else legal action will be taken.     I am sorry to say this but i will not recommend Tikona to my friends and family ever due the worst experience i have ever had using a broadband connection all these years, with different Internet service providers.

    What exactly have you checked here? I am confused!

    My connection was terminated back on 3rd June (almost a month late) even after having made a call to terminate the connection way before. Now being said that i was presented with a bill for the whole month, given the fact i did not use your services. Now i get a mail regarding Full and Final Amount that is totally incorrect. If you have disconnected my services way back and charging me interest all this time for amount i am not even suppose to pay, how does it seem ethical? if this is not a harassment then what exactly is this?

    I would like to speak to a Tikona Official, a supervisor to sought this out as i can never reach tikona or atleast speak to anyone. I am not liable to pay a false amount that you claim it to be 1976 and i have enough proofs for the same.

      Requested multiple times for disconnection but every time they avoid that you will receive the disconnection confirmation letter later.

      I have also warned them that disconnect it before my next bill generation. Failing to do so, i will not be liable to pay the bill.

      Please look into the matter and discontinue the services and do not bill me illegally.

      I have also posted on forum.tikona.in for disconnection. Also i have seen that many customer are facing issues with disconnection. Company does not disconnect the services and they send you bill and then they harass you to pay bill. And i don't want to undergo any such harassment.

      Disconnect the connection peacefully. :)

      I received a reply that we will stop charging rentals from 17 FEB 2018 and credited 10 GB in your account.

      As already informed, I want full and final disconnection of service and do not want any data in my account.
      Please do the same and collect your devices from premises.

      Why the date is 17 FEB 2018 when my request date is 10 FEB, last usage date is 11 FEB and my last billing date is 14 FEB?

      Please disconnect the services full and final. I do not want any service from tikona.

      And finally tikona did send me the bill even after disconnection. My last usage date was 11 FEB 2018 but still they have sent me the bill for 15 FEB 2018 to 14 MAR 2018. I requested the disconnection on 10 FEB 2018.

      Now they are sending unnecessary mail that i tried to contact you but you were unreachable. But the truth is that yesterday (18 FEB 2018) i called on their number and again complaint them.

      Can you please let me know if i can sue tikona for this unprofessional behavior and harassment?

      Why you people always send the same reply?

      Why did you send me the mail saying that "we will stop charging you rentals and credited 10 GB in your account"? Despite me mentioning that i don't want your services in any mode and want full discontinuation of services.

      Complaint resolution should be based on customer requirement and not the service provider benefits.

      Okay, so today i have sent the mail to your CEO "prakash.[protected]@tikona.in".

      Lets see if you can disconnect the services now and stop harassing me mentally.

      Customer care executives are not giving me any date for final disconnection.

        I got a call from advocate raghuveer saha and he threatened me to pay 1500 for the services that i have not even used. I had mailed the company n number of times that i had already moved to another city and after repeated mails, the company is still not willing to stop harrassing me. Before leaving, i also notified the customer care executive to collect the device from the terrace but they did not. I guess they found it easier to blackmail people and asked me to pay in the next 30 minutes or your id and bank account will be seized.

          Hi i am using tikona broadband ADBBM10M799 in this plan on first 2 months i got good speed like 6mb speed after that i dint get speed as i complained tikona for so long and they say there is no issue i my line but still i get very slow speed for this i pay 1099rs they give me monthly usage of 160gbs but at this slow speed how can i use that much gbs this is fraud and no good customer care service when i ask for technician to check my issue they send no one says no issue in my line...

            Hello sir, my tikona service had been stopped at 20jun and total overall biling at 10 october 672. So its stooped. My house der is no connection in tikona box and router connection is also off der is no user at home. Yesterday i got a message ur overdue is 212.. What is dis, i call customer care they say that you use tikona services at november to february.. But there is no uses no installation no user at home all connections away from their tikona box and router rhen how it is possible it not possible becoz me at delhi. Me using jio.. So why its overdue.. As soon as possible you take it action. Otherwise i complain to consumers forum

            As i am using tikona internet services since last 3 months but the main thing is tikona team is cheater gang, after taking 10 mbps plan not achieving 1 mbps speed of the internet.

            One line cut short is '' do not use or recommend tikona to anyone''

            i am gonna to file legal complaint against tikona very soon.

              We have used tikona prepaid broadband internet for few months, and then we were not satisfied the service, hence we decided to disconnect. When we requested for disconnection, they offered a plan for one year for a cheaper rate, and made us pay 1140 rs for a year. Even then the service was very bad, so we decided to disconnect and requested disconnection. Since it was a prepaid connection we didn't have any amount due. But there was no response from the customer care. After contacting them continuously they agreed to disconnect and they told they will disconnect, also they told they will pick up modem. But there was no response later. But after 1-2 months they started sending mails saying bill has been generated. We tried contacting the customer care, but every time they would bring up new reasons and ask me if i want to continue connection/transfer to some other place/transfer to someone else. Regardless of my response with a no, they disconnect the call and call me after few days or months and repeat the same things. When this kept happening, i made it clear to them that i don't want the service, the request for disconnection was raised when the prepaid period was going on, still the bills are coming, and i am going to file a complaint. Again they cut the call and there was no further calls. I thought the disturbance is over. Now after 2-3 years, they've started threatening me asking me to pay the due amount which got generated after my disconnection request, and saying they would file a case. I have kept few of the call recordings of the conversation in which i asked them for disconnection clearly, and where they were not ready to do it.

              My tikona customer id was : [protected]

              Still the bill shows an amount of 5000+ which got generated when we were not using the service. The threatening calls are arriving from delhi, saying they are advocates and they want me to negotiate with them. They're harassing me with unnecessary calls in emergency situations.

                I don't have any dues and every day morning when i login tikona system shows "service suspended please pay". When i call technical they said there is no technical issues and redirected to customer support. Customer support (Mr. Vipin) says there is no outstanding and asking me to contact technical support. When i said that technical support has redirected me to customer support, they are saying to wait for 24 hours and within 24 hours the problem will be solved.

                Tikona is having frequent disconnection every day and i have planned to discontinue the service. I was holding their payment, but one of their employee (Ms. Kajal) assured me that i can pay the dues and there will not be any more disconnection. I paid the entire amount last week, based on her assurance. But till now my problem is not solved, it has only aggravated.

                    I would like consumer complaint to intervene and guide me to take the next action against tikona for my below mention scenario-

                    On 1 may 2017 i put a disconnection request of my 7-8 year old connection due to continuous billing error and got the telephonic confirmation of the same.
                    But on july 2017 i got the bill for the month of june 2017 stating that the connection is still live so i again write a mail to customer care as-

                    Kindly stop the services from immediate effect as i have already placed a discontinuation request on may 2017 through call on customer care which is not yet processed and i got billed for june 2017.
                    Kindly close the connection at the earliest and provide me the closure confirmation.

                    After i wrote this mail to the deaf ears tikona care, i still got the billing and i again write an email to them on sep 2017 (5 months of harassment) as-

                    With ref to your continuous reminders for paying the due bill of amounting 1031, i already cleared to customer care executives number of times that it is due to delay in disconnection from tikona's end.
                    As due to long unsolved billing issue i have putted the disconnection request for my 7 to 8 year old connection on 1 st of may 2017 and assured the executives to disconnect on immediate effect.
                    After getting confirmation from your end i still got a bill on june for the month of may...??
                    I again called and asked the reason, then they try to retain me by offering some other plans and referring to some relatives... Etc.. Etc but i strongly deny and ask to disconnect immediately and also paid the bill of may-2017 (Which was not supposed to pay).
                    Even though again the connection was not disconnected and i got a bill for the month of june2017 and that is completely failure of your commitment.
                    Finally i again write a mail on july 8th 2017 for disconnection.

                    Further i don't know when exactly the connection got disconnected... But here it is your failure to fulfill the disconnection on committed time and it doesn't abide me for paying the bill.
                    Please check all my communication details include calling details when i raised the disconnection and when it actually happened.
                    This is my last communication, please do not accept any more response from my end as i already cleared the scenario number of times to your executives (Some of them misbehaves with me).
                    Further i will take this on another platform as an customer harassment because i am not at all guilt in this.
                    Request you to be transparent and don't follow these cheat practices... Examine the case again and act wisely.

                    Here i summarize that instead of disconnecting the services on time and accepting their delay they keep on charging and asking to pay the bill. I have attached all the written communication evidences for reference.

                    Now they are threatening me for legal, criminal as well as civil proceedings, so what should i do against tikona for all these harassment as this type o[censored]nethical practices deeply effect my personal, professional and mental health.

                      I had got the tikona connection for a year or so in which i had registered complains for internet issues for a number of times.

                      Before my next month's bill i called the tikona care and asked them to disconnect the connection. I got a call from them that your connection will be disconnected but still you can use internet for next 7 days for free cost in case you would like to change your mind. We used it for 2days after which we didn't used it.

                      But next month they sent us the bill amount of rs 200 again for internet which we hadn't used. I don't knw why. After that i got a lots and lots of calls from them for bill payment. I talked to them but they would cut my call in between.

                      Now they have sent me a legal mail that you need to pay rs 680 for bill and rs1500 for modem (For which i already had paid security fee).

                      I don't know what to about this harresment. It's not about money but the way they are torturing people.
                      I will suggest that never use tikona internet never. It's a scam.
                      I really urge that this company should be closed.

                      Please provide solution for my problem.

                        This is mearun. M. I’m still an existing tikona broadband customer. Due to my personal reason, i’m relocating to some place out of bangalore end of this month[protected]. I have already submitted a cancellation form to disconnect tikona broadband service which i have at home before i’m vacating as i cannot even stay one day more after the date[protected] to secure the tikona instruments / equipments which was provided while signing up the tikona broadband.

                        I have been calling up for the past few days to know the status of my cancellation request, but nobody has lift it up to answer my call so far. I don’t know what is going on and what they are doing at working hours. It’s really frustrating me and make me to feel bad about the tikona service. This is the reason i’m drafting this email to you directly.

                            I had to move to a new location and I asked Tikona to relocate the modem as well. A service rep came and tried to install it at my new address but was not able to do as there was no access point nearby. Minutes before this, I had paid the bill thinking that the internet will be setup. Now that they can't install, I asked for a refund and they are stalling me.

                            I had contacted them thrice and all they say was our team will send you an email. I received no email and no refund. As long I was with them, the service was not great, just average but once I had no choice but to stop using (due to their limitation), I was not given the money I paid for nothing.

                            I work as a technical support supervisor for a way better and bigger company than this ### hole and I have never experienced a (unexplainably bad) ###TY service. Of all the services and products I have used and the support that I have received, I would not even think of rating Tikona the lowest because it doesn't even deserve the lowest of all.

                            Disgusting note: They wouldn't even allow an email from a non registered user. It was my friend who chose this and had registered with his email and phone. He left the hostel/rent home so I managed to change the registered mobile number to mine but not the email address. I don't want to talk to any of the reps there as I know what they are gonna say anyway.

                            At my premises ? What address? I'm no longer in the address you guys know. That was the reason I had to terminate my service.

                            Deliver it to the following address:

                            56/23, Lal Bahadur Sashtri street, New Perungalathur, 600063.

                            And if you had checked, I have called your support and asked about the refund. There was a failed transaction before I successfully paid the 960 rupees. Now HDFC says that both transactions were successful.

                            So you need to give me a total of 1920 and not 960. Please see attached HDFC transaction proof.

                                  As they given fake advocate call and got the payment of 3299, they told its refundable once u returned the device i returned device and took receipt, even after 15 days no money is refunded and not contacting please i need my money back as i given device! Please do the need full, when i stopped using service and told to discooned it as i am moving to other city where there service is not there, they didnt disconnect and keep on generating bill, made bill of 3299 when my bill was only 600 month, given complaint to national consumer complaint, as they promised refund of my money after device is returned why not refunding my money! Please help with this cheating bad company on the earth!

                                    I had installed tikona services on 4th december 2017 with rs.[protected] for routers and the remaining as an advance or security deposit). On 4th december itself, after two hours of service installation, i and my family found out that the services were not up to the expectations. We were promised o[censored]nlimited 10mbps of internet speed @799, which later proved wrong. I immediately called up the guy who brought up the services at my home and informed him to return back my money and take away the equipment and the cables. The guy told me i had to contact the tikona team. On 5th december, i wrote a mail to ask them to return my money back and take away that equipment but rather getting a refund, i received a call from one of your agents who promised me to restore the services within 48hours. To my amaze that associate, in fact, did the job and i left for a long tour. Three weeks later when i reached back at home, i was not happy to see my families suffering from the slow internet and for my belief, i tried testing on my notebook and on my cellular phone for two days. I took every screenshot of every interval and on the third day, i called on a technician to report about the issue.

                                    The result and information i received on that call, your wireless tower was facing some issues and the person on the phone would fix it within two more days. I gave him time and nothing happened.
                                    Ultimately, i moved out from my old house and flagged for stop services and requested for withdrawal of services. Now i am being told that i need to pay rs.550 for the services which never satisfied us or which we never used it properly. At the one or the other day, i am getting calls asking to pay rs.250. My point here is i wasted and ended up paying rs. 2600 for pathetic services and my perception is i don't or should not be charged while i never used the services properly. The videos on facebook or youtube were instantly buffering and every now an then, my kids would run up to me complaining about the speed, forget about voip.

                                    The sole purpose of installing the services was we thought it would provide us the promised speed which never did. Secondly, the router was a part of a business to sell your products while i ended up now with two useless, idle routers. My point here, if you can think and see, i was charged endlessly and i hesitate to pay a single penny because i have paid a lot to your company for the services which never lived to the expectations. I have proof of every call conversation (Recorded) and every email sent. Money receipt for the amount paid and every screenshot of your internet speed. While these things have been already informed to them however i am being threatened and warned every single day to pay the dues which i dont want to.

I also wanted to let you know (if it helps) that I had flagged for service change from the app as a means to stop the services on 31st December 2017. On 6th Jan 2018, I sent out a mail to stop the services. But to my disappointment, rather considering the request, I kept on receiving calls from your retention team for 3 business days telling me that they would restore the services, offered ten days without a bill, one month free services, empathy and here and that.

                                    I had to turn deaf and after denying all the call offers, then I started receiving calls from your billing team asking me to pay the money. Each and every single day, I was tortured explaining all the situations to your agents and the supervisor, yet they pretended as if they listened to my justification, end of the call they kept asking money, such are your team who doesn't care how the consumer is going through.

                                    When I denied further payments, then I received a call from a guy on 29th Jan 2018 who claimed to be from your company ([protected]). That guy threatened me saying, no problem, if you don't want to pay this Rs. 354, I will forward the case to the court and you will end up paying Rs. 3000, you just wait and see. Such were your company services when you feel you don't need that person. At one time, you were willing to offer a free one month services and the other day, you threaten to take him to court for the biggest mistake he did in his life- making a relationship with TIKONA.

                                    Hi Team, thank you for your response. I have contacted the financial resources person and gave him the details to pick up the rooftop equipment. One more thing, I saw that I was liable to pay for an amount of Rs. 346.02 apart from the equipment recovery. I would like clarifications on, how the amount was generated because 4th dec, was the activation date of your services. Then on that day itself, I paid 1550(excluding the modem charges). I had subscribed to 799 plan monthly. So help me understand why do I have to pay another Rs.350. I had sent out mail for deactivation of services on 6th of Jan. From 31st Dec, your services were never used. you can cross check that with the data consumption.

                                    Rs.1550 was paid, for 799 monthly plan and after a month, you guys are charging me another Rs.350. Let's be transparent and focus on being user-friendly rather doing all this daylight robbery. You have already tortured me a lot.

                                      Reference: tikona wi-bro service account - ban –[protected] & service id – [protected]

                                      I have 2 complaints with tikona.

                                      1) tikona is not disconnecting the connection

                                      I have phoned and emailed tikona customer care for several times now to terminate this connection but tikona has not replied to any emails and just keeps calling on my mobile and telling me not to disconnect and continue the service even when i don't want to. At the time of raising termination request, i have cleared all bill per the usage till effective 26-july-2017 and the connection have not been used since.
                                      In spite of several requests, tikona has failed to disconnect the connection and kept the connection active and they are sending the bill for unused connection. Post 2 month's unpaid bill (Rs. 1603) the connection remains suspended. Instead of acknowledging termination request, tikona has confirmed on email once i pay the bill the connection would be activated again which essentially means they are going to charge more money for an unused connection.

                                      2) harassment

                                      Tikona 's "lawyers" are calling us repeatedly from tees hazari court (Although the company is registered in mumbai!) and harassing us to pay 20, 000 rs or police will come to our house in 30 minutes and there is a nonbailable warrant etc etc.

                                      This is a cheat company - even after requesting termination & stopping usage they are keeping connection active & charging bill and threatening customers unlawfully.

                                      I need this connection to be terminated asap and the undue bill to be reverted.

                                        I have used tikona internet till sep 30, but they are saying i need to pay till oct 6 but i have vacated room on sep 30. They were saying internet have used by someone but i need to pay. But how can we say someone used internet without password? They are doing this for money and calling as from court and we are lawyer and so on. They are threating daily and asking me to pay bill, they are calling as lawyer, police and from court and you need to come to court if not you will be arrested. Why i need to pay extra money after i informed disconnect my internet on sep 30 2017 and i too vacated room on sep 30 2017. I don’t know how internet was used after i left?
