I had an internet broadband connection from tikona wireless network of rs. 750 per month for unlimited download package, 4mbps speed for 30 gb data and then speed will reduce to 512 kbps for unlimited data. For first year, it was working fine apart from minor issues on few days however in 2016 it became a nightmare. My internet stopped working almost every month for 2-3 days. From 3rd july’16, it stopped working completely and despite multiple follow ups, complaints, call to customer care, it did not start working until 23rd july. I had to spend rs. 1500 for buying mobile data from airtel to do my office work. Moreover, from 23rd july, it worked for about 2-3 days and then again stopped. Multiple emails, hours of waiting on calls to customer care did not help rather i paid additional rs. 287 in my mobile bill just for calling tikona’s non toll free customer care numbers. I sent multiple emails to disconnect my connection in aug’16 but no response and they continued to bill while internet was not working. I got 2-3 call backs but no resolution, no clarity on bill adjustment and not even one engineer visit to sort out the issue.
Problems - no network, network available but very slow (For downloading 1 page had to wait for 40-45 min), network available but the login page would not appear. We called customer care numerous times. Customer care executives responses were - initially they said that some updating is going on or due to some digging work outside the society they are facing problems which would be rectified soon or lines have been repaired network services will be resumed soon but never happened. We told them we are still facing problems. They would ask us to reboot the box. Sometimes they would ask us to change some configuration. For half a day or so it will work and then again back to square one. We requested them to send an engineer so many times they never did. We were told that engineer will call back, it never happened.
Tikona continued to bill me until sep’16 i guess while i changed my service provider on 13th aug’16. Later i was told that rs.100 has been adjusted for july’16 from regular bill amount of rs.749 plus tax. I mentioned clearly that i will not be paying any bill till it’s adjusted for all days of non-service however no response or resolution.
Now from jan’17 onwards, i started getting calls from some lawyers from tees hazari court, high court and mumbai court saying that tikona has filed a case against you for non clearance of outstanding amount of rs.2800. If not cleared immediately, there will be a penalty levied of rs.1, 50, 000. I asked them to send a court notice if that’s the case however nothing so far.
These calls and sms keep coming every now and then which is more of mental stress in day to day life. I don’t understand how tikona can continue to bill without providing internet service and even after customer has sent email to disconnect his/her connection. Last email i got from tikona was outstanding bill of rs.1666 which is noway justified due to:
1. Negligible internet service after 3rd july’16
2. High level of mental torture and stress
3. Email to cancel this connection was sent long back while tikona continued to bill my account
And now these calls are very disturbing at times to both me and my wife. Would request you to please take this up with tikona and get it sorted if you can. I have all the emails for documentary evidence.

Also for the device I paid initial amount of 500rs already and the representative who came said like the device is yours and it can be transferred to other person upon my decision. SO DO NOT ASK ME ANYMORE amount for DEVICE and stuffs.
Take your device from my terrace as soon as possible. Again one of your representative called me today 16/02/2017 Mhavesh from Mumbai and asked the same question which was asked on Jan 2016 "What was the reason for discontinuing the service" Do you still want me to answer it? I clearly said him i will not use your service anymore in future. Tell me the reason why your legal team called me and barked over the phone? When your representative told me ignore the messages which I received every month why all of a sudden I got calls from your legal team?
