Tikona — Received legal notice and threatening calls from Tikona 6 months after disconnection

I am Ashish Nirmal, I had lodged a Tikona disconnection (connection no [protected]) on 11 April 2015 as I was moving out of Delhi on 12th April 2015, I made the payment till 11th April 2015 too. I requested the Tikona customer care people to disconnect the connection right away but they kept insisting me not to continue the connection, rather transfer the connection to your new location or to your friend/relative to which I clearly said NO and told to disconnect the connection for which they said OK and we'll do it. From June onwards i started receiving calls from them to pay the outstanding bill for the connection to which everytime I told them the same story for disconnection request which was made in April, to which everytime they responded saying it is a mistake from their end and it will be resolved soon. Today (12th October 2015) I received a threatening call from some goon calling himself an advocate from Delhi Court named as MUKESH (phone no. [protected], [protected]) saying me to pay rs 1500 to Tikona else he will drag me to court. Requesting you to please let me know the procedure to sue Tikona into court as I have all the necessary proofs with me to take this forward.

Well thanks Tikona for atleast responding to this!!! You guys gave me a lot of pains through your THIRD GRADE SERVICES, I am really shocked from this tactics of you extracting money illegally from your customers by THREATENING them over phone/mail. I have now started reaching out to people over various media to highlight your real face to your current and prospective customers so as to save them from the sufferings that I faced, the effect of this will soon be realized by you I promise that.
Finally I would like to inform you that I have sufficient proofs with me to prove my stand against you, now dare to send me any threating or intimidating calls, I'll drag you to court and will make you suffer for this

Again received threatening calls today, this time it was some LADY GOON shouting over the phone to pay the bill. Tried to call back on the number [protected] but the number doesn't get connected. In spite of all these complaints done by me, Tikona doesn't ever care to respond on this.
Unprofessionals to the very core...

Anyways FYI, I have informed about the unprofessional and unethical attitide of Tikona to around 20 of my friends and relatives and they have already DISCONTINUED your services. I also assure TIKONA TEAM to take this movement to the next level, Keep watching...

Hi Ashish,

Let me know if your issue get resolved. I am also facing same problem. I have sent them multiple emails, called them many times but seems nobody is interested to look into matter.

i believe you have not read the complaint made by me properly... I am iterating it again i have paid the full and final settlement amount before terminating your connection. I am not going to pay you a single penny for the services i have not used. Please produce before me the internet usage details from 12th april 2015( the date from which i disconnected your services). Attached is the final bill that i paid to you online.

Finally, two things that i want you to answer are -

1. WHY SHOULD I PAY you for the services i have not used in the first place.

2. Produce any evidence that your services have been used after 12th april 2015, i will pay the amount.


Also, resolve this as soon as possible as i do not have time to write back to you over this non sense thing.

The next step that i can do is lodging a final complaint in the consumer court against you.

One more act o[censored]nprofessionalism shown by Tikona today, received the same kind of threatening calls from these two numbers ([protected] & [protected]) claiming himself to be an advocate from Delhi Court threatening to pay Rs 1538 or face legal actions. Interesetingly when I searched these numbers on Truecaller, it is giving me the owners name as Ruchika and Nidhi.

Tikona Team, please stop being a prick now. I am not going to pay you anything :)
