Tikona — Threatening customer to loot money | |||||
I got a Tikona broadband connection on May 17(Account #[protected]. The network was pathetic that wanted to get rid of it within 2 months. I tried to place the termination request through Customer care number. However, they kept ignoring my request and disconnecting my calls abruptly. Finally I sent the Termination request in email on July 21. Tikona did not process my termination request for long time and kept calling me unnecessarily and sending emails and sms on payment reminders. After several emails and follow ups in phone, they agreed to terminate the connection and sent an acknowledgement on Aug 27. It took more than a month to process the request. Then one person came to office to collect settlement of 300 rupees and said with that they will close all dues. Two more personnel came to home to collect the equipment. Even after that I kept getting bills and payment reminders. On top of it, I got a call from someone to be an advocate calling on behalf of Tikona. She said I still need to settle outstanding balance of 700 rs if not they will file case against me. I told her to go ahead. Tikona the most pathetic Internet service providers I have come across. They demand customer to pay money unnecessarily and if the customers do not oblige they threaten to file case. Many of my friends also faced similar issues.
