I bought a gold chain worth of 17.433 grams at tanishq, bannerghatta road, bangalore yesterday and when billing the price was rs.10000 extra which they levied for making charge for just 17.433 grams. When asked about it they argued that this is the standard but when compared with other reputed jewelers, the making charge at tanishq is huge and very high. I don't wanna leave this issue and will take this to the next level and i knew how to make them realize of their fraudulent business. I never recommend this company to any of my friend's and relatives and that will be last visit to tanishq. Its not a jewellery showroom but a cheating showroom. Dear forum members please don't ever try to buy gold from this group and waste your money, invest or purchase a quality gold from other branded jewelers.

Above all they charge more on everyday gold price which is another form of cheating the customers by showing their own price and website portal.

I suggest everyone not to trust tanishq.

    I am a tanishq customer of old. Yesterday i received a phone call from a number from u p [protected] to attend a programme of sterling along with family to receive a gift hamper of prescribed resort of sterling co. Which will be valid for six months. As i am a very busy person with a lot of prior appointments, to respect the call of tanishq/ jabalpur i sent my wife to attend their programme. She was told to attend the programme with her husband and with great difficulty by rearranging my sheduled appointments i somehow managed to reach the venue with my wife. On meeting the officials of sterling at a tanishq store i was blatantly told by them that the gift hamper of those godamn resorts was from first july till 19th september when the entire country will be in the midst of monsoon rains. Do you think any rational guy will ever take a tourist trip in those months. Do ther think that tanishq customers are godamn fools.in the phone call they has clearly mentioned that the promised gift hamper would be valid for six months but the unethical officials of sterling openly and brazenly announcing the validity period of mere three months.
    I strongly raise the issue with the tanishq s to inform them that their brand name is being exploited at their costs by unethical and cheating elements of sterling in the venues of tanishqs which should be banned immediately. We the customers of tanisqs are neither poor nor cheap to be treated so by unscrupulous elements but the sad part is this that this has happened within tanisqs premises.

      I had purchased a diamond ring worth 23k in tanishq manglore showroom
      I had for an year with me then after one year i gave back to tanishq they deducted 7k and gave me back 16k how is this possible so much deduction compared to other jewellery shop so much of deduction hereafter i never ever purchase anything in tanishq i suggest others also not to purchase

        I went to the titan watches store in byatarayanapura, bangalore-560092 to get the battery of my watch replaced (Image attached). I had a titan gift card worth rs. 100. The store employee refused to accept the gift card, inquired where i got it from and said they only accepted gift cards if it is bought from their store. After much argument, the supervisor agreed to accept the gift card but charged an exorbitant amount of rs. 165 for the replacement, because i used the gift card. Battery/cell replacement would generally cost rs.50-70. Why do you offer gift card if you do not honor it everywhere? I need you to take action on the store and also explain why i was charged so much.

          Sir,
          With reference to the captioned subject i wish to express my dissatisfaction with the company’s store policies, as i was a customer of your golden harvest scheme (Account no.[protected] dated 17/11/2015 and had paid 10 number of installments which is amounting to rs 100000/- (Rupees one lakh only) but i did not purchase any jewellery within 386 days from the date of account opening which is why i was given a refund cheque. Also, a voucher worth rs 7292 (Seven thousand two hundred ninety two only) which was to expire on 10th june 2017.

          On the 10th of june i went to your company’s store in g. S. Road, guwahati before which i had called several times in the store’s phone number to clarify my queries about the scheme and the voucher but the store’s number is out of service currently and i couldn’t do so. Even though i went to the store and selected a diamond finger ring (Product description - 501090fgalaz62) worth 170252 inclusive of all taxes, but i couldn’t buy the product then as the billing desk was already closed as informed by the sales person. But i went the next day, i. E. 11th june 2017 and i brought the same product but i did not get any benefit from the voucher as it expired the previous day. I have attached a copy of the voucher and the bill for my purchase of the diamond finger ring and also a picture of the faulty telephone number of the store which was given on my golden harvest customer scheme book.

          So it is my humble request that i should be at least given something worth the amount of the voucher or if not so a discount voucher that gives me a discount of the same amount as my previous voucher i. E. Rs 7292 (Seven thousand two hundred ninety two only) on the purchase of gold earrings or gold finger rings worth more than rs 10000/- (Ten thousand rupees only) or so.
          Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

            The response that i am seeing is nothing but copy paste for all the customers.
            Titan as a brand should be cautious being in indian market.. Where the competition is stiff.
            I will never ever buy a titan brand product person where on the contrary i used to use and recommend this brand to every...

            Hello friends, please don't purchase anything from titan.co.in website. They are using the titan brand name but their product quality is 0. If you purchase anything and they will provide you worse quality things but if you ask for refund they will pick up the product after one week and your money will be refunded in 3 months. Their customer support is not good also. They are not supportable to give you proper information. They will provide you fake information. So, please don't purchase anything from www.titan.co.in

              I had given my watch for repair at the above showroom and received the same on 30/11/2016. Invoice no. 2843. Customer acknowledgement number:1257; iaccording to the invoice provided a guarantee period of 6 months was assured. A spare part was replaced - vx3ha-fma

              I have bought a watch from titan for last one and half year old and after using it for 1year the leather is totally torn. Hmm it cost for around 6 thousand. If this is the condition than why shall we prefer a costly brand it is better to use a watch of 200 rupees. I don't have any more trust on this brands. I want a quick action. When went for changing of my leather the same leather is not available in any of the showroom. They gave me another leather which does not have any standard. If this type harresment we have to suffer than what for are this showroom.

                I bought fastrack chronograph silver dial men's watch - 38005pp01 from amazon last year. The watch has 2 years warranty. After the first year, the rubber strap started to crack. I have visited titan service centre in trivandrum, kerala. They are saying that the particular watch strap is not in stock anywhere and collected my phone number and told me that they will call me once the replacement strap comes into stock. But nobody called and i used to call them several times on [protected] and every time they are saying to wait. Now completed 3 months. Now they are saying that i should submit the watch to their service centre and they will send it to their head office for repair.
                If you have no replacement strap, then why you are selling those products?
                About the strap - poor quality that i have ever seen. You couldn't even touch any part of the strap, it will start to crack down into pieces..

                I have the same watch and I too have this problem... the strap cracked down into two within 10 months. The strap is not available at the service centre.

                  I had purchased a timex watch 4 months back. The quality is so down that the belt colour has almost washed.. When asked for belt replacement to the vendor, vendors are urging that warranty doesn't cover belt warranty. I have spent 3.5k for the watch. And the quality provided was not worth it. I want the action to be taken so that to continue my faith on titan..

Now there are giving me a watch with less cost, i bought the watch in an offer of 50%, after the fire accident they said me that "we will give the same watch or you can take a watch at the cost which you first bought".                       I had recently bought a titan watch and had to change tge glass, the service centre at bhubaneswar have kept the watch since then, its been 1.5 months and due to there complete negligence i have now lost faith in so called 'titan' brand,
                      What spares take 1 month to get coordinated and replaced, and after giving them about more than a month the are not able to help me with my problem, pathetic service and violation of consumer rights done

                      Unsatisfactory consumer response regarding my watch and after my complaint on the forums on june 04 i havent got a solution till date seems titan has lost the consumer satisfaction that they gurantee
                      This is the last time im choosing titan because its been 2 months and my watch lies at the service centre without any solution to my problem, i just had to replace the outer glass of my watch that i brought 4 days back
                      When should not sell models that you dont simply repair.
                      Im sick and tierd of running after the service centre guyz
                      Pathetic situation 😤😤

                        Dear Sir,

                        I ordered bangles at tanishq on 7 th may 2017, then due to some family issues I have to cancel the order. I have proceed for the cancellation on 12 th may 2017.

                        At that time I was told by branch that I will get my refund back within 7 days.

                        Although today 22 days have been passed but I have not received my refund back.

                        So I have called at tanishq store on 31st may, I was told by tanishq store that I will get refund within 45 days from 31st may. So probably refund would be initiated by 15th july 2017. It is very disappointing from tanishq to hear this.

                        As they have committed to me that I will get my refund within 7 days on 12 th may . then suddenly they have changed their statement.

                        I would like to tell that IRCTC is a government portal although if you are cancelled your ticket then you will get your cashback just within 5 days.

                        Please do needful for me to get my refund.

                          Both the pumping systems are not working. Verge one is may be 10 % used only. Lot of remaining. They are good perfumes but very bad pumping system. Kindly help. See if it can be replaced. I am genuinely interested in the perfumes but very bad pumping system.

                              Dear Concern,
                              I went for battery replacement at world of titan shop, Karol Bagh, i had given my TITAN EDGE watch to the service centre for battery replacement today. They charged me ₹323 for the battery replacement( no description of battery cost and service charge), I'm very much surprised that to saw my bill of ₹323 for single battery replacement. Even i asked to the billing they said it contains all the cost include battery, service charge and tax etc. Before they didn't tell me that they will take service charge for battery replacement and there is no description of battery cost and service charge on bill. I asked for descriptive bill they simply denied we cant give that. Very worst customer relation and services. Im feeling cheated and worst experience for me. I'm very surprised by the behaviour at time of selling the product and at services.
                              Kindly look into the matter and resolve my concern as early as possible, I can't recommend to any one to take any product from TITAN!!!

                                  My wife, sangeeta kumari has purchased a new titan watch (Item code 1729sl02, description - dg346, cluster-gclsq) from titan showroom, lancy, at alkapuri, vadodara on[protected]. Immediately after just one month, the watch started running slow, almost around 20-25 minutes.

                                  I approached the showroom on 21.05.2017 and requested for exchange, as it was under warranty period. The office manager shown his inability to exchange the watch but ensured to repair the same. But after my strong request for exchange he told that he can decide to exchange only after checking of watch by their technician. I kept the watch at showroom for repair.

                                  I got a call from them on 25.05.17 confirming the watch is repaired, i went to collect the same. I also inquired for exchange of the watch but i was advised by the manager that it can not be exchanged by them, as the watch is under "warranty" and not "guarantee".

                                  Now, my request to you is to replace the watch with a new one, as the same may be treated as defective, because it started showing problem well almost a month after of purchase.

                                  However, i know the difference between warranty and guarantee, but it doesn't authorise anyone to sell defective item under warranty and decline to replace when the defects of newly purchased item detected by consumer immediately after purchase.

                                  We assume the titan brand a responsible one, and has been using its watches almost since starting. However such experience may tamper our old faith on you.

                                  I have no complaint against any of your staff member. But i need my demand to be serviced as i find it genuine.

                                  I hope you will consider my request in good faith and will do the needful.

                                    I have purchased a watch from berhampur world of titan showroomon[protected]. After 4-5 months it was found defective and was repaired by the showroom. According to the showroom people the problem was with the machine and was consoled that the watch will work properly. But again within 1 month the same problem aroused. The watch is not worth the price as i have to run to the showroom now and then.
                                    Now i want replacement of my watch or refund of my money. Because again and again i can't run for getting the watch repaired even within warranty period.
                                    If the watch is having so much of defects within 1 year of purchase then what is the guarantee that it will work even after the warranty period.
                                    Therefore i want you to resolve my issue on or before the warranty period because i wont be held responsible for not lodging the problem earlier.
