My wife, sangeeta kumari has purchased a new titan watch (Item code 1729sl02, description - dg346, cluster-gclsq) from titan showroom, lancy, at alkapuri, vadodara on[protected]. Immediately after just one month, the watch started running slow, almost around 20-25 minutes.
I approached the showroom on 21.05.2017 and requested for exchange, as it was under warranty period. The office manager shown his inability to exchange the watch but ensured to repair the same. But after my strong request for exchange he told that he can decide to exchange only after checking of watch by their technician. I kept the watch at showroom for repair.
I got a call from them on 25.05.17 confirming the watch is repaired, i went to collect the same. I also inquired for exchange of the watch but i was advised by the manager that it can not be exchanged by them, as the watch is under "warranty" and not "guarantee".
Now, my request to you is to replace the watch with a new one, as the same may be treated as defective, because it started showing problem well almost a month after of purchase.
However, i know the difference between warranty and guarantee, but it doesn't authorise anyone to sell defective item under warranty and decline to replace when the defects of newly purchased item detected by consumer immediately after purchase.
We assume the titan brand a responsible one, and has been using its watches almost since starting. However such experience may tamper our old faith on you.
I have no complaint against any of your staff member. But i need my demand to be serviced as i find it genuine.
I hope you will consider my request in good faith and will do the needful.

Updated by RKniraj Further to my mail dt. 28.05.17, I have not been contacted by any of your Care team so far. Its almost 2 weeks. Dont you thing the 2 week time is pretty enough to contact.
Can you please advise me how long it will take to resolve the issue. Kindly advise clearly whether you are going to resolve the issue or not.
