FOLIO NO. [protected]. ULIP amount was maturing on[protected], after paying instalments for 10 years. By[protected] the cheque for maturity amount should have been recd by me as there was no change in the address. But instead of sending the cheque I was unnecessarily asked to give my consent. On[protected] I wrote a letter which was handed over to branch office at Jeewan Bharati Building New Delhi. As I did not get any cheque I enqired from the same office on[protected]. There I was told that the cheque dated[protected] is lying at Jhandewalan office as Courier has returned it back due to some address problem. I could not understand why this cheque was not delivered at the same address where I am getting other correspondences regularily from UTI and moreover the house is never locked. I was told that cheque can be collected from the same office after two days. When I went to collect the cheque on 1-7-2009 at Jeewan Bharati Building I was told that the cheque's validity is already expired it has been sent back to Hyderabad for revalidation and it is revalidated can be collected from the same office after two days. On 6-7-2009 when I again went to the UTI office I was told that it is being revalidated and can be collected after one week. On[protected] when I again went to collect the cheque I was told that cheque had not come and no further commitment was given. As on date I do not know when I will get the amount.

Actually, the process of redemption is never clear. The agents also are confused.At UTI we are sent from desk to desk.

I too have ULIP 1971, which matured on 12.6.09. I would like to know the correct process too.

2) that the above details of my client has been shown on. Dt.[protected] applied to transfer his name and fulfillment the document of KYC. Bank details, Pan Card has attached with these documents. And has sent your Transfer Agent Registrar. KARVY Computer & Shares.

3) That of above noted Sl. No. 1 and 3 has Transferred in the name of my client. And my client has obtained the redemotion payment of these transferred unit.

4) That all the documents and details are sent with the Sl. No. 1 and 3 but 4 to 12 not returned nor transfer in the name of my client. But there is no availed my status till date.


5) That regarding above non- transferable has lodged his complaint by e-mail, Postal authority and field back office & Media to your RTA But no any answered has received with them nor any response has received from concerning authority.

6) That my client on Dt.[protected] a leagle notice has sent in which u/s 420, 406, 467 IPC but no answer has received till date from there side.


7) That with your Regional office contact but they also not replied date.

8) That my client as per company’s performance and high rating has invested. And said unit in the year 1999 has purchased from Amritsar Regional Sub- broker But client does not know that these units will be transferred in his name or not.

That through my client I have o inform you that your Registrar has received all the documents but only 400 unit has transferred in his name and there is no response about 900 units of my client.

Please not that SEBI / COMPANY act 1956, MCA guidelines doing opposite the works and you may be instruct to your RTA that they look into the matter and be transfer in my name. It seems that the proceeding of your RTA is not satisfied with the clients, and shown irresponsibilities of him.

That after receiving such notice if any response will be obtained my client will be take judiciary action in the competent against you. And at the event you will be fully responsible for cause and action.
